Kellan Lutz and Mandy Moore in New Movie
LA Times Reports on Kristen Stewart in 2 Sundance Movies
From the LA Times:
By some strange cosmic fluke, Kristen Stewart portrays a 16-year-old runaway in both of the movies in which she appears at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
In the drama “Welcome to the Rileys,” which premiered Saturday afternoon at an industry-heavy screening at the Racquet Club Theater, the “New Moon Saga” superstar portrays someone quite unlike "Twilight's" long-suffering vampire-lover Bella Swan. That would be Mallory, a stripper-hooker with a penchant for wearing X-shaped pasties and G-strings (and sometimes no undies at all) with fishnet stockings who makes repeated references to the state of her “private parts” and sexual acts in language not suitable for publication in a family (or even PG-13-rated) blog.
Although her "Rileys" character initially claims to be 22, it is eventually revealed that Mallory ran away at an age when most teens are first getting a drivers license to live in semi-squalor in New Orleans, where she works in a French Quarter strip club in which she charges a little extra for more personal contact.
To get ready for the flesh- and soul-bearing part, the low-key Stewart -- dressed Saturday in the de facto Sundance regalia of military parka, distressed denim and sneakers -- said she didn’t “prep” per se, even though she studied some stripper dancing for the sake of greater realism.
“I’m not ‘playing a stripper’” she said with dripping emphasis before the film's first screening. “It’s really not a stripper movie at all. It sort of just opens your eyes about people that don’t have options. I know I’m speaking really vaguely about it.”
In the rock-surged comin- of-age drama “The Runaways,” Stewart portrays real-life rock icon Joan Jett, who co-founded the all-girl teenage band – yes, you guessed it – called the Runaways at age 16. The group burned brightly with righteous proto-punk fury then fizzled out between 1975 and ’79. In that film, Stewart snorts cocaine, makes out with co-star Dakota Fanning and drunkenly urinates on an electric guitar.
Did we mention that she embodies Jett almost perfectly?
“It’s, like, crazy,” Stewart said when a reporter asked her about her resemblance to one of rock’s foremost female titans. She bit her lip and ran her hand through her hair. “I can’t even accept it!”

Bel Ami Casting Rumour & Bearded Rob
This is still just a rumour - nothing is confirmed yet!
In the script, the character of Suzanne is Mme Rousset (Kristin Scott-Thomas) and Rousset’s (Colm Meaney) young daughter and is pivotal to the story. Young Suzanne Rousset is closely involved with Robert Pattinson’s character of Georges Duroy in Bel Ami.
We do know that filming begins in a few weeks and Robert Pattinson plays journalist Georges Duroy in the film adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s 19th century novel.Nothin glike Twilight, Georges isn’t quite the faithful boyfriend that Edward Cullen is!
“One of his sex romps with Christina [Ricci] finds both their characters surprised by the intensity of the racy encounter,” the mag says. “Tender, aching moments pass before Georges asks Christina’s Clotilde, ‘Now?’ And he doesn’t stop there.”
“…I’m doing Bel Ami, based on the Guy de Maupassant novel in January as well, and I don’t really know how I’m going to fit that in. I have to gain weight – but I don’t think they’ll let me put on much as I have to shoot the final Twilight movie afterwards. I have to look older, as the character Georges Duroy has been living hard for a good six years just getting drunk all the time. So I want to look a bit haggard.”
Well, I don't like the beard personally, but I am sure many women don't care ha ha ha - - - He's a hottie either way and I am excited to see him in this role.
Brangelina Split Rumours
News Of The World and Star mag are reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have signed a $330 million split deal!
Though Brad and Angelina are not married, the tabloids claim that the two have taken "legal steps to dissolve their union including how to divide their fortune and who gets custody of their six kids." A source told NOTW the agreement will give them joint custody of their 6 children but the kids will live full-time with Angelina. "The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple's split," the source says. "It seemed clear they want the world to know they'll both play a part in the upbringing of the children."
Brad and Angelina were last seen together on January 6 in NYC (the picture above was taken after the not so happy couple left dinner) and X17online can exclusively report that while the couple's kids were in school in Los Angeles as usual, NO ONE has been in their Los Feliz home for the past week.
Calls to Brad and Angelina's reps were not immediately returned - we'll bring you the latest as soon as we hear it!
Think this is true? Or just a phony tabloid report?
E Online Interviews Kristen Stewart at Sundance about Welcome to the Riley's
E Online posted this:
Everyone is raving about your performance—how did you prepare for this particular, shall we say, slightly more risqué role?
"Umm, Jake [Scott, the director] had a lot to do with my preparation and understanding of the type of person I was playing, and his serious regard of sensitivity towards those people. I play a girl who has sort of been stripped of any choice and really stripped of any normal upbringing. Like she couldn't establish who she was because of things that have happened to her and she became a 'working girl,' if you want to call it that.
"So in preparing for the role I talked to a lot of people, actually like three people in New Orleans, that were strippers that were working in this bar that we ended up using in the movie...I don't really prepare for anything, it's just about like, keeping it in your mind the whole time. If it affects you...it's just about understanding it more, it's not about having to like physically—oh, but I did have to do pole dancing lessons! But you don't really see that in the movies."
Oh, so you've got some sexy skills now!
"Yeah yeah."
Do you get nervous when you have to shoot the more provocative scenes?
"I was freaking out! The thing is my character is so, like, she just doesn't care. Basically nothing belongs to her. She'll give it to you like it doesn't bother [her]. So I had to drop that. She literally walks around with an open sore. Literally! She's just constantly like, 'Ugh, I'm fine, whatever.'"
Now that you're getting back to work, please tell us you were able to enjoy your time off after all the New Moon press.
"Yeah, I'm actually bored for the first time in, like, ever. So, yeah, I really want to get back to work."

Krsiten Stewart says Pole Dancing is tough...
Marc Malkin at E Online posted this:
Welcome to the Rileys was a real pain for Kristen Stewart—literally.
In the much buzzed about indie flick, she plays a 16-year-old stripper who is taken in by a married man, played by James Gandolfini...
"I did some pole dancing," Stewart told me Saturday at the movie's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. "I got bruises all over my legs. I tore myself up doing it. It sucked."
Oddly enough, she kinda enjoyed it. "The more I saw it, the more I wanted it," Stewart said. "It was like a weird self-hating kind of thing."
Yikes!
Director Jake Scott said it was pretty much a closed set when Stewart had to do her dancing scenes.
"She was terrified," Scott said. "The strip club we shot in was really a club, and it really was that dirty and really that tough. But she killed it."
Scott also hooked Stewart up with a professional stripper. "She's like one of the best in the business," he said. "So she was really reliable and didn't do drugs or anything like that, but she was able to introduce Kristen to girls that were. She was able to put her in that world."
But if you're expecting Showgirls moves from Stewart, you can forget about it. "This is not about a stripper," Scott said. "It's about a damaged child."
Stewart said, "The cool thing about my character is she is not sultry and she is not sexy."
Mandy's Mind - I can't wait to see this movie, I am so psyched to see KStew in The Runaways also. So much of her work has been very similar, Kristen playing Kristen really well... but these roles force her outside of that and I am really excited to see her in new roles.

Rachelle LeFevre's New Puppies
Rachelle’s Honey passed away just before Christmas. Rachelle, according to People magazine, isn’t forgetting about Honey, but is moving on:
“Rachelle Lefevre is not one to break New Year’s resolutions. Just three days after a Dec. 30 Tweet announcing that she planned to adopt a dog, the Twilight star and actor-boyfriend Jamie Thomas King went to Baldwin Park, a Los Angeles-area high-kill shelter, and rescued not one but two pups! “They were both on the ‘at risk’ list,” Lefevre tells PEOPLEPets.com. “If no one rescued them within the week they were going to be put down.” In an instant, cocker spaniel Momma Bear and miniature poodle Jack Sprat were given a second chance at life."

It says:
Older jaded male seeking younger vibrant female for a forbidden romp. I’ve had many a nocturnal emission, and find myself on a quest for a licentious carnal release. Scouring snow covered earth for someone so poignant, I can’t take my mind’s eye off her—until she’s wrapped tight around me like a second flesh of skin. No threat of my incisors sinking into your carotid artery, I’ll keep the penetration simple, and use my penis.

Mandy's Mind - - It is said that the beard and weight gain are for his role in Bel Ami. I personally think he should use a fake beard, I like his clean face, or even a BIT of stubble better... but hey, that's what I like on my men, and Rob ain't mine... my Hubby is and he always sports a hot stubble rawr....

Jersey Shore
I had heard so much about this show so I checked it out and secretly, I got hooked. I hated everything about it, the fake tans, the strange lingo, the slutty ways.... but I couldn't stop watching....
I can't imagine a daily schedule that included "GTL Baby" - Gym, Tan, Laundry, nor would I be able to pull off the house bump, grind, bounce, shake and of course "fist pump" - in fact, me and the beat often fight... but I always lose.
I have no nicknames as quirky and fun as "Snooki" or "The Situation" and I use minimal hair products, but somehow I still enjoyed this reality show, secretly.
I've found friends who are closeted fans also and we are starting a support group....
actually, we are planning a Jersey Shore Theme Party... with house music, fist pumping, bump hair, fake tans (ok I am going to lather myself in bronzer) and whorey outfits.... There may some smooshing after too much Ron-Ron-Juice but it's all good, we can be as trashy as we want, afterall, that is the point of this show no?
Many Italian-Americans are ashamed and even outrages by the portrayal of their culture on this show, but as Pauly D said last night on the finale, he isn't trying to represent any culture or group of people, only himself... and represent himself he does well accurately.
I can't believe Pauly D is 29 years old... and "The Situation" is 27... I mean Vinnie is only 21 and the most mature of them all.
I was glad Angeline left, I didn't like her at all.
Snooki really grew on me, after being punched in the face by a man and all hre failed attempts to hook-up, I jsut started to feel for the girl.
The drama was never-ending all season and with talks of a season 2 I think I would actually want the same housemates again...
Anyone else a closet Jersey Shore watcher?
What were your overall thoughts on the show?
I want to go to the Jersey Shore... ha ha...
I found this photo and it just doesn't seem right too me, too classy for the trashy non?
