Comic Books - First Rob now Taylor?

Earlier this year, Robert Pattinson was made into a comic book hero. Now, it's Taylor Lautner's turn!

Courtesy of Bluewater Productions, "Fame: Taylor Lautner" will arrive in stores in August. According to that company's press release, it will detail this actor's meteoric rise in Hollywood and be scripted by the same author as penned "Fame: Robert Pattinson" and "Fame: Kristen Stewart."

Twilight Meet Archie & Veronica

Here's an interesting piece of news: Archie & Friends is devoting its #146 book to Twilight, and it's the first of a two-part Twilite series.

It’s love at first bite when two new students arrive in Riverdale. Betty and Veronica are fascinated by the smoldering-hot Ivan, but Jarred is warning everyone who’ll listen that Ivan is really a vampire! Reggie volunteers to help Jarred expose Ivan as a bloodsucker, but love–or maybe Ivan–is clouding the girls’ judgment. Can the girls be saved before romance sinks its teeth in?

The issue will hit stands on August 8th, according to one source.

From the cover image, it looks as though the book will play off of some of the physical characteristics decribed in the Twilight series, but it also seems the story will take a few necessary liberties to make it Archie material.

That said, it'd be a shame if they didn't turn Archie's "jalopy" into a silver Volvo . . .

The folks over at Twilight France tipped us off to this one. Twilight graphic novel is in Top 100 AppStore apps (for IPad). According to Twilight France (translation via Google Translate) “You probably do not miss the information in all the newspapers, the iPad was released Saturday in the U.S. (and in France next April) … And Twilight is already in the spotlight with a demo of the application of the graphic novel Twilight Volume 1 in English but in French ! All I can say is W-T-F !?!?!

The issue, written by Kim Sherman and drawn by Nathaniel Ooten, with the cover created by Juan Mar Studios, delves into the star's music, modeling and, of course, those dreamy roles he played in the Harry Potter and Twilight movies.

"I chose to conceptualize A-lister Robert Pattinson from a unique perspective, immersing the reader into the life of the talented actor beyond his most famous role," Sherman says.

"It's our hope that even the most devoted fans will discover a fact or two that takes them completely by surprise," Bluewater president Darren G. Davis says.

Kellan Lutz wants to be Captain America

Earlier today, we told you that "Chuck" star Zachary Levi wants a shot at bringing Captain America to the big screen, but he's not the only angling to play Marvel's star-spangled hero. You can add "Twilight" actor Kellan Lutz to the mix, too.

"I'd love to be 'Captain America' someday," Lutz told gossip blog The Dishrag in a post-"New Moon" interview.

Lutz, who played vampire Emmett Cullen in each of the "Twilight" films, would certainly be an unexpected choice for the role — but without any official casting for the film, it stands to reason that anyone's fair game at the moment.

I think he'd be great in that role - thoughts?
