Well, I've been neglecting my blog lately & its not just because Eclipse wrapped ;)
Every year I plan this massive Halloween Event. We throw huge parties in 7 major cities across Canada and as Director of Operations for the company I've pretty much had no life every October since 2004.
Often I begin planning in July and have my costume prepared and decided before Labour Day.
This year, however, I passed a lot of my workload in other cities to another person and though it meant less stress through the summer and early fall, its inevitably caught up with me.
This past week and a half I've been catching up, reviewing, approving, re-doing, fixing, adjusting and confirming a number of things from participating nightclubs, staff, volunteers, sponsorship, transportation, admin work, schedules, prizes, training sessions etc.
In fact the only thing I didn't get involved in was promo (which may be part of why our #s are lower this year in 2/7 cities, but who knows)
Anyhow, I've been super busy, stressed and haven't had anytime to blog or tweet....
I thank-you for still checking my pages and commenting on some of your fave older posts its very sweet of you :-)
Currently I'm typing on my blackberry while my husband drives me around to drop off supplies to some of the nightclubs and pick up prizes from sponsors.
I can't wait for tonight, party time and a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom hotel suite condo :-)
2 friends from Seattle are coming up for the weekend so should be a great time!

Just So You Know Award winners were announced...
After 44,594 total votes, here are the winners of the first-ever Just So You Know Awards!
Unlike other awards, there are no acceptance speeches (you're welcome, Taylor Swift) and, due to some budge concerns, there aren't any award statues either...

RObsten Breaks Up according to b.s. magazine OK!
It is so funny how these people continue to sell magazines!!
Hold on to something, Robsten fans! It’s Wednesday, which means OK! magazine has another “Twilight Exclusive” – and this one’s a gem.
As reported widely, this past Saturday “Eclipse” cast and crew held a rollicking wrap party at the Vancouver Aquarium. The tabloid claims a “brooding” Robert Pattinson arrived alone and left after only 45 minutes, wearing shades and a baseball cap. Why was Rob sad? Well, “sources” tell OK! Kristen Stewart “has shockingly pulled the plug on their romance.”
Yup. OK! has the “exclusive.” Let’s run down some of the key problems the tab cites.
According to a “friend of the couple,” Rob “was talking marriage,” while the still-teenaged Kristen “has a lot more living to do.”
Stewart also supposedly felt as though she was giving Rob too much of her time at the expense of friends and family, with the “pal” saying, “Kristen realized she was giving Rob all her attention to the exclusion of everyone else.”
Then there’s rehashed Taylor Talk. Dredging up months-old rumors that were wrong then and wrong now, OK! somewhat creepily uses “the buff physique of 17-year-old co-star Taylor Lautner” to invent a rivalry between Lautner and Pattinson for Stewart’s affections. On a night she supposedly went out with some girlfriends (sans Pattinson), Stewart “was saying Taylor keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger… She shot some physically intimate stuff with him earlier that day and she couldn’t help noticing his bod. His hot bod.” Yeah, the same hot bod that OK! claims in an item four pages earlier is half of a “heating up” romance with Taylor Swift.
Then there’s the problem of geography. With two months to go “before work starts” on “Breaking Dawn” (um, wrong), Stewart and Pattinson also had supposed “tension” over whether to return to Los Angeles (Stewart’s choice) or London (Rob’s).
Plus, Stewart is “jealous” of the attention Pattinson receives from female fans – a jealousy that has supposedly “ignited some dramas” at the pair’s hotel and during a night out at a Vancouver bar.
And now here comes the best part.
After rattling off this series of, ahem, dubious reasons for the Pattinson and Stewart “split,” OK! turns in an escape worthy of Houdini.
“However, don’t drive a stake into their hearts just yet.”
Wait, what?
“Rob and Kristen would experience terrible withdrawal if they went their separate ways,” the rag’s source “predicts.”
Um… did Gossip Cop miss something?
The cover shows a torn photo of Pattinson and Stewart with “SPLIT!” plastered across it. The story’s headline says the same thing. The sub-head claims, “Kristen calls it quits.” The article itself throws theory after theory at the wall to make the claim stick.
But there… buried twenty-two paragraphs into the story, a “friend” says Stewart “just wants to hit the pause button.” Oh, and don’t be surprised, the tab says, when during promotion for “New Moon” and filming for “Breaking Dawn” “the chemistry will likely fire up again.”
Excuse Gossip Cop while we stand and applaud.
Well done, OK!
So a possible relationship into which the mag had zero insight, and which it breathlessly claims just ended in supposed “heartbreak,” might possibly be reversed almost immediately? Perhaps even by next week’s cover?
Brilliant!
By the way, Gossip Cop contacted Stewart’s representative, who laughed and asked of OK!, “Do you really consider them a news source?”

width=300>LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The director behind "American Pie" and "About a Boy" wasn't the obvious choice to take on "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," the second book in Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster teen vampire romance series. But Chris Weitz, who also writes and produces, sometimes with his brother Paul, had done a fantasy adaptation in 2007's "The Golden Compass" and felt a connection to the material. On November 20, "Twilight" fans -- and Summit Entertainment, which is releasing the film -- will determine whether he was up to the task.
The Hollywood Reporter: Why did you want to do a "Twilight" movie?
Chris Weitz: The tonality of the movie, which has a lot to do with heartbreak and longing, depression and reunion and ecstasy -- these were emotions that struck a chord in me. I really loved the cast; Kristen (Stewart) and Rob (Pattinson) both are exceptionally talented. And I wanted to get my hand back in the game. There were a lot of things in this movie that I knew how to do: a combination of telling a character-based story but also handling special effects and working with young actors.
THR: And adding another genre of film to your resume?
Weitz: It gets a bit boring to be in a particular zone. I like the idea of switching genres and different types of stories to keep things interesting. But it might be the way to become unmemorable as a director, I suppose. There aren't that many dilettante directors who get remembered. John Ford did all kinds of movies. Billy Wilder did too, but they get remembered for one particular kind.
THR: So how do you want to be remembered?
Weitz: I'm not sure. I don't think I have to be remembered. I'll be dead anyway. (laughs)
THR: How much did you interact with Stephenie Meyer?
Weitz: A lot; we've had a real good collaboration. Crucially, she approved me as director, and she didn't have to. We had some discussions that were very important -- my convincing her that I didn't want to take her baby and run away with it, or tell a story that was counter to the spirit of what she was trying to tell. I see myself, in the last few movies I've done, as adapting literary properties into film, so that's how I treated this one. We got along like a house on fire.
THR: What kind of suggestions did she give you?
Weitz: It would normally be me e-mailing her and running things by her when I felt I was on the edge of getting a detail wrong, everything from the powers of a given vampire to the look of a particular scene or what she imagined a location looked like. And sometimes, when I felt that I was creating something new within the framework she had set up, making sure she was aware of it and that it didn't make her sick.
THR: For example?
Weitz: A good example is the headquarters of the Volturi. The oldest vampire family lives in Italy, and it was important to me there be nothing in their surroundings that reeked of any other vampire movie. So the interiors are done in a very classic Renaissance style and are very crisp and very bright, which you would not normally expect from a vampire movie.
THR: Speaking of Italy, how have you dealt with the problem that the heartthrob is gone for most of the book?
Weitz: There are two heartthrobs in this movie, not just Rob but Taylor Lautner. Part of the point was that Edward was away. Readers of the book know this and appreciate it. The story is about loss and heartache; he is present as an absence. Bella is always thinking of him and affected by him. His return to the film is really powerful and made more so by not having millions of "back at the ranch" scenes. And the middle of the movie is sustained by Kristen's amazing performance and by Taylor doing a lovely job as her best friend. There are people who would like nothing more than two hours of Rob Pattinson standing there, and I sympathize with them. But I think they'll appreciate getting him back after the second act.
THR: So you didn't alter the story at all?
Weitz: No. We didn't want to shoehorn him into the story. I did alter the visuals of the story in the sense that in the book, Kristen's character has aural hallucinations -- she hears his voice -- and we've built in a very beautiful subtle effect so that we see him as well. But those are brief, if impactful, moments. A lot of the film is sustained by her loss and Taylor's character bringing her back to life.
THR: How much do you interact with the Twi-hards?
Weitz: Quite a bit. I don't have an online, direct relation with the fans; I was too busy making the movie. But I sort of feel as though every bit of footage I get out is speaking to the fans in a way. I've only addressed the fans directly twice: at the very beginning, when I said, "Don't worry, I'm going to take care of this book," and then to address an insane rumor that all the Volturi were naked in their introductory scene. But I listened to what they have to say by checking in on the Internet. I didn't do it that much while we were shooting because I didn't want to get swayed one way or another; it would be like a politician just going by the polls. But now that the footage is complete, I kind of enjoy just checking in various sites and seeing what they like.
THR: What is your favorite "Twilight" blog?
Weitz: I don't really have a favorite. All the blogs are, in a really delightful and noncompetitive way, poaching and linking to one another's material. So if something is on one blog, it's very likely to be on another blog as well. I think it's great that there are fan sites that are not there to make money but to express enthusiasm for these books and the movie and they are happy to share information with one another.
THR: Is it true you have an offer to direct the fourth "Twilight" movie?
Weitz: No official offer has been made. The fans have been enthusiastic about the footage and the trailer, and the studio responds to that by feeling good about me. We'll have to see how people feel about the entire movie, not only the studio but the fans, before the verdict is out whether I direct No. 4. David Slade is doing a great job on the third film, and by the time that comes out, he'll be the flavor of the moment.
THR: What really happened with Rachelle Lefevre being replaced for "Eclipse"?
Weitz: I don't know much more than everybody else as to why it went down. I think it was a scheduling conflict. I feel very badly for Rachelle, while at the same time I think that Bryce (Dallas) Howard is a terrific actress. She'll do a terrific job.
THR: That's a very PC answer. Are you getting coached?
Weitz: No, I seriously believe that Rachelle is very good and very talented and this is not the end of the world for her. I think she would have continued to be a great Victoria, but there are other roles in which she'll be terrific.

Has there been a difference in the way you interact as a cast since you filmed Twilight?
Rob[ert Pattinson] has more security guards hanging around him! [Laughs] Other than that, not really. We really enjoy each other’s company, and we’ve been working so much on this movie that we really haven’t had as much time to hang out with each other. We’re putting in these long hours and then just heading home. Usually we just try to catch dinner with each other then get back up the next morning and do it all over again.
What would you say is the one major thing that has changed about your life since starting the franchise?
I’m traveling a lot more than I used to and interacting with a lot more people. The fan base on this, I don’t know how else to explain it … it’s a cultural phenomenon. People will actually hop on a plane to see you. Sometimes I do these charity events, and people fly in to come and see me. I’m just really, really impressed with [the fan] dedication to these books and to the movies. I’ve always had a fan base with the work I’ve done, but never as rabid as this.
You seem pretty dedicated to them, too, judging by your Twitter page.
You know, I love connecting with the fans because I’m a fan of the books myself. They’re all so dedicated and wonderful to me that I love to be able to give back. So if stopping for a picture or signing a book of theirs puts a smile on their face, then that makes me happy, too. I kind of go out of my way to make sure—if there are fans hanging around the set—to try to stop and say hello to them before I get in the van. It takes five minutes to make people happy. I love interacting with them.
Have any of your daughters seen Twilight?
All three of them have seen it! They’re ages twelve, six, and three. They love it. The 12-year-old has read the first two books, so she loves the movie. My 6-year-old loves it even more; she wants to watch it all the time! Now the 3-year-old, because the 6 year-old likes it, wants to watch it all the time, too. I asked her what she liked about it and she said, “I like the scary parts.”
How does New Moon differ from Twilight?
You know, Twilight was an independent movie. It was shot very documentary style, the way Catherine [Hardwicke, Twilight’s director] shoots. It has a rawness to it, which I think is nice. New Moon’s a little bit crisper, it has a little bit more of a studio feel, but it still has that edge.
What’s it like playing the same character for three different directors?
That gets interesting. It’s exciting in one way because every director brings their own flavor to the movie. Each director’s personality is different so you kind of have to adapt to their way of working, but I’ve had really good experiences on all three. Sometimes it’s nice working with the same person over and over because there’s a familiarity, but I’m used to working with different directors. On Nurse Jackie we get different directors on each episode. I like it because they bring different ideas and make you think of things you might not have thought of before—pushing you to look at it from different angles. I think it’s harder on the directors to come in and try to make these movies as grand as Twilight was and take on the responsibility of getting the story accurate in terms of telling it from the book. Then they have a whole cast that they haven’t dealt with before, so I think it would be more daunting for the director.

With shooting on "Eclipse" winding down and the "Breaking Dawn" movie still unconfirmed, these may be the final days that Twilighters see any Cullens on a film set for a while. With that in mind, we wanted to make sure we caught up with one of our all-time favorite "Twilight" stars — Mr. Kellan Lutz — at least one more time.
In between his "Eclipse" duties, the Snuggie-loving actor sometimes known as Emmett Cullen sat down exclusively with MTV to discuss his thoughts on the "Twilight" movies, including comparisons of the various films' directors and his favorite scenes from "New Moon," due out on November 20.
MTV: What do you see as the biggest difference between the tales in the "Twilight" saga?
Kellan Lutz: What's the biggest difference? That's an interesting question. Because the books are already about different subjects. Stephenie [Meyer] wrote them with the Romeo and Juliet aspect, and then, each one has a different persona. It's a really cool concept. But as far as the directors go, each director is different. Catherine [Hardwicke] was very energetic, and she made this beautiful movie. Chris [Weitz] had this really cool, really laid-back [vibe], but has a great sense of how to do CGI and how to make these wolves look real and bigger than life versus just some computerized image. Then David Slade, with his action background and his indie style, just mixed the two. The movies are going to be unique in their own aspects, and that's what's really interesting — it's not the same director doing each one. We, as actors, got to see different styles of [directing]. So it doesn't feel old, ever.
MTV: What is your favorite "New Moon" scene?
Lutz: My favorite scene is probably anything that Charlie is in, played by Billy Burke. He just has this great comedic timing, and every scene [with him], I get a laugh out of. And there's just tons of action. That's the thing too, seeing the wolves actually fight each other and roughhouse. It's really interesting to see what Chris did.
MTV: Which of the new characters is your favorite?
Lutz: The Volturi boys. I didn't meet them in "New Moon," so now [I see them on the "Eclipse" set]. I didn't have the time to meet them when we were shooting "New Moon" because the shooting schedules were different. So, with seeing them, and finally meeting them on "Eclipse," they're really cool. It's interesting to finally meet them. It's so weird being an actor in something and not being a part of the whole cast feeling.
MTV: As the saga continues to film, do you feel like you're becoming more or less like your character?
Lutz: I've been my character. I feel like I've been Emmett since day one. I really loved the character when I first had the audition for Edward. I was like, "No guys, come on [let me be in the movie]." And then I asked them about Emmett, and something was already done with that, and then it came back [available again]. I just really like Emmett. He's a great, fun character to play. I'm always so happy to be on the set. He's not depressing, he's not complex. He's just the lovable bear type.

Kristen Proute speaks about her part as Lucy in Twilight Saga Eclipse

Kirsten Prout has finally spoken out about her work on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse as Lucy, the vampire from Jasper (Jackson Rathbone)'s history who doomed herself by her stint of betrayal.
Prout, a veteran of the television series Kyle XY, fits the bill for the character pretty closely. In Eclipse, Lucy is described as tall and blonde, and, as a vampire, she is pale. Prout embodies those characteristics pretty closely in real life, so the physical transition was probably pretty simple.
Prout talked with LimeLife about her character in Eclipse, and she seemed pretty excited about the type of person she'd have to become in order to be Lucy.
She says of her character Lucy, "The character is extremely predatory and what's amazing about playing a vampire is you are a predator and you lure in your prey and then you turn on them" and believes she was partly chosen for the role because of how pale she is! They didn't have to do any air-brushing on her because she's quite pale enough.

New Moon Commercial
This isn't the one I saw tonight on t.v. but they are all emerging on t.v. now and it is exciting. I know some say "it's too much" but in reality, all the clips combined are equal to less than 20 minutes of footage from a two hour movie. Furthermore, much of what we see in each clip is repeatitive of previous clips... maybe a few seconds added or adjusted.
So no - I haven't had too much - I just can't get enough - is it November 20th yet?

SINCE being bitten by the acting bug, Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson has been cutting his teeth on a role that melts millions of teenage hearts.
A betting man or woman probably wouldn’t have put money on Robert Pattinson being the next big thing. This is a guy who was expelled from school, only joined a drama club because “there were pretty girls there” and, well, isn’t exactly the most classically good-looking bloke around.
Granted, he did score a small role as prefect Cedric Diggory in two of the Harry Potter films, but after he was sacked from the 2005 play The Woman Before at London’s Royal Court Theatre, the odds of him toppling Daniel Radcliffe from his lofty place as hottest young Brit on the block looked slim.
But that was before a certain film called Twilight came along, which (for the benefit of non-tweens and uninitiated Twi-hards – as ardent fans are known) is based on author Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful book of the same name.
The Mormon mother-of-three famously knocked out the tale of a tortured ‘vegetarian vampire’ and his mortal squeeze after tucking her sons up in bed, and became the biggest publishing phenomenon since Harry Potter’s J.K. Rowling. (Meyer has since published three further books in the saga – New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn – which have sold an astonishing 70 million copies worldwide, 2.8 million of them in Australia.)
Teenagers the world over fell in love with Edward Cullen (the vampire) and Bella Swan (the squeeze) and it was only a matter of time before a film was announced. Web chat rooms buzzed as fans waited breathlessly to hear who’d play the hauntingly handsome hero and were monumentally disappointed when the relatively unknown Pattinson landed the role.
In fact, 75,000 fans signed a petition against the actor’s appointment and called for a boycott of the film – not the most auspicious start for a next-big-thing in the making. “That was my welcome into Twilight,” he jokes now.
But teenagers can be a fickle bunch and when the movie was released late last year, audiences lapped up the romance between Edward and Bella (played by Kristen Stewart). Suddenly Pattinson, with his overstyled hair, pale skin and resemblance to James Dean (not that his younger fans would know who Dean was), became the vampire du jour.
Now his rogueish features (he’s rumoured to have started working out and had his rather British teeth fixed) are plastered on magazine covers, TV screens and websites worldwide and paparazzi document his every move.
The UK’s Glamour magazine crowned him sexiest man on the planet and GQ Australia named him one of the most iconic men of the past decade, alongside Barack Obama. Not bad for a self-confessed “chubby-looking guy” who was largely unknown 12 months ago.
It’s been a heady rise to the top for the 23-year-old Londoner, but it’s all still sinking in. Speaking from Vancouver, where he’s shooting the third film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (the second film, New Moon, is in cinemas next month), Pattinson says working on back-to-back films has left him little time to read – or believe – his own press.
Asked how he’s coping with the fame, he says, “I don’t really know, yet. I’ve pretty much been locked away as things have intensified. I only noticed the scale of it as I was shooting another movie (Remember Me, a romantic drama with Aussie actor Emilie de Ravin) in New York and tons of people turned up at the set every day. I guess I’ll find out next year what my life is like outside a filmset context.”
The star has just wrapped up a 12-hour day onset, where he’s been shooting a fight scene all week, and is apologetic when he stumbles over his words. “Sorry, I need to wait for my brain,” he explains.
“I need to get it back into thinking mode.” After working almost non-stop since January, he admits he needs a holiday.
“Before these movies, I worked about 10 days a year and that was more my pace,” he laughs.
If Pattinson is letting fame go to his head, he’s showing no sign of it today. He plays the self-effacing, hesitant Brit to a tee, admitting his parents are prouder of his achievements than he is. “They’re always saying I should be really proud of myself, but I say, ‘It’s luck, everything is just luck.’”
As for the excitement that constantly swirls around him, Pattinson feels the attention can be detrimental to his work. “The more hype that surrounds you, the more conscious you are of what you’re delivering, and I find that hard to deal with. The more people build up your persona, the more you shrink inside yourself. I have to keep fighting against that.”
The youngest child (he has two older sisters) of a model scout mother and vintage-car dealer father, Pattinson had a comfortable upbringing in an affluent suburb of southwest London. Reports have claimed he was bullied at school, but he says the worst he suffered was “someone stealing my shoelaces when I was about 11″.
What is true is that he was expelled from his private school, but he becomes uncomfortable when asked why. “I was only trying to be inventive,” he finally offers. “I thought it was unjust that I was expelled. I really liked that school.”
He had no plans to pursue acting as a career, only joining the Barnes Theatre Club because of those “pretty girls”. (He also did a bit of modelling, but says the work offers slowed once he matured and “stopped looking like a girl”.)
But the club led to him landing an agent, the role in the 2005 and 2007 Harry Potter films and, ultimately, a meeting with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke.
Pattinson says he was the last actor to audition for the vampire role. “I guess the producers were getting a bit desperate by then,” he says modestly.
He did a scene with Stewart, who’d already been cast as Bella, and both women knew they’d found Edward.
Hardwicke says after the audition Stewart immediately told her: “It has to be Rob.”
However, the film’s production company, Summit Entertainment, still had to be convinced. “There was a call from the head of the studio,” Hardwicke told GQ magazine in the US. “(They asked,) ‘Are you sure you can make this guy handsome?’”
Now it’s impossible to imagine anyone but Pattinson playing Edward, his brooding eyes filled with barely disguised longing for Bella (nobly, he doesn’t drink the blood of humans and refuses to consummate his lust in case he takes a lovebite too far), but the star says he had no idea the film would be such a hit.
“I didn’t know anyone who’d read the book before the film came out. I was completely ignorant of the whole Twilight thing.”
Since it opened at No 1 in 23 countries (taking a healthy $21.7 million at the Australian box office), it’s been difficult to find anyone – well, under 20 at least – who hasn’t heard of Twilight. And fans have become increasingly obsessed with the idea that Edward and Bella’s onscreen passion may have spilled into real life.
This idea reached fever pitch in August, when Pattinson and Stewart were spotted looking amorous at a Kings of Leon gig in Vancouver, and there have since been alleged sightings of the ‘blissfully happy’ couple in secret assignations all over town.
A cynic might argue this are they/aren’t they speculation is a publicity ploy to get even more bums on seats when New Moon opens but, if you believe the tabloids, the pair are on the verge of coming clean about their relationship. All Pattinson will say is that he’s “pretty close” with all the Twilight cast.
“We’ve been locked in this kind of bubble,” he adds. “I know very few people in the US other than those I work with, so it’s been nice.”
What hasn’t been so nice is the restriction on his movements due to the ardent attention from fans and the ever-present paparazzi. Eclipse co-star Jack Huston recently said Pattinson has been isolated by his new-found fame because he’s “sort of jailed to his room. He can’t leave without being followed by 100 people. There’s a price to fame. Hopefully, he’s handling it OK.”
Pattinson admits he was a shy child (who’d even freak out if someone made eye-contact with him on the bus), so to have his every move documented must be tough. However, he’s learning to deal with the attention.
“The paparazzi pressure (is hard) because you have a bunch of people who want to see you do something stupid. Sometimes when you’ve done a 16-hour day, you just want to go and have dinner, but they’re waiting for you to make an idiot of yourself. It takes its toll eventually.
“You have to be a little sneaky about everything. That said, none of my strategies works particularly well. I’ve (tried) making my life look as boring as possible because I thought it would cause them to lose interest, but it didn’t,” he sighs.
He’s also growing used to his fans’ more bizarre requests. “A seven-year-old came up and asked me to bite her – and she was serious. I thought, you don’t know what you’re asking. That was very odd.”
For the record, Pattinson doesn’t get the ‘vampire thing’. “People always ask if I’m a vampire fan and I don’t really know what to say,” he explains. “I’ve since found out there’s a sub-culture of people who like any film or book to do with vampires, no matter how they’re portrayed. I find that strange.”
He claims not to worry about the possibility of his star waning when the Twilight saga has finished and the fans have moved on to the next big thing. “If people like you, they like you. I don’t want to force anything down anyone’s throat,” he says firmly.
Immediate plans include the New Moon press tour – although Australia isn’t on the agenda – and a trip back to the UK for Christmas (”I miss London quite chronically at the moment”).
However, the self-confessed “frustrated rockstar”, who plays guitar and piano and sang two songs on the Twilight soundtrack, says he’d eventually like to record an album.
“I’m not particularly interested in releasing it, but I’d like to do some gigs. I guess the only way to do that is to get an album out,” he muses before admitting he needs more guitar practice. “I never manage more than five chords,” he laughs sheepishly. “I have to work on that.”
He once described music as his back-up plan if acting failed, but we’re not likely to see Robert Pattinson singing for his supper any time soon.

Pattinson was contracted to do the four Twilight movies and once Eclipse wraps up in Vancouver, only Breaking Dawn remains to be filmed. "They were all filmed quickly and painlessly," he says.
The much-anticipated second instalment, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, is in cinemas next month. In the flesh, Pattinson only vaguely resembles Edward Cullen because he is far from being a tortured soul himself. A lot of the image is created through posturing, make-up and that mop of tousled hair. "I wear contact lenses for the character and in the first movie I wore a bit of lipstick but in New Moon I don't. They've changed my look in this one. I don't pluck my eyebrows so much in this one, either."
Is he wearing make-up today? "Naaa," he replies disdainfully, and seems pleased that New Moon is aimed more towards males. "This was always my favourite book. New Moon will be a lot more relatable for guys, whereas it was quite difficult for me to express all those emotions in Twilight. I think it's difficult for guys to accept those kind of emotions."
Given that expectations are running so high, he approached reprising the role with trepidation. "I was really worried I wouldn't know how to do it again, but I have a natural chemistry going on with Kristen and doing the sequel was so easy. She always says she pretty much got me the part, but I don't really believe her," he says with a smile.
Pattinson also could relax because he has a smaller role in New Moon. This time werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) takes centre stage. In the third movie Eclipse, the two have to jostle over who wins Bella's heart – if she still has one by then.
Pattinson seems the most unlikely heart-throb material as he really has grungy tastes and disdain for the high life. But, while he maintains he doesn't like fast cars (his father used to sell them) and that he is single, he was photographed driving a Porsche leaving his co-star Kristen Stewart's house. Maybe they were learning their lines or it could even be a set-up. It wouldn't be the first relationship created to sell a movie.
Though the idea of his being single seems all the more likely given that he probably hasn't any energy for a relationship. (Twilight cast member, Anna Kendrick, confirmed his single status in an interview last month.) Pattinson has so little time to do anything but work. "I'm working almost every day this year," he confirms.
"I had three days off between Remember Me and Eclipse and then I've had to start learning Comanche and bareback riding for Unbound Captives. I don't only want to do the same part. I'm doing Bel Ami, based on the Guy de Maupassant novel in January as well, and I don't really know how I'm going to fit that in. I have to gain weight – but I don't think they'll let me put on much as I have to shoot the final Twilight movie afterwards. I have to look older, as the character Georges Duroy has been living hard for a good six years just getting drunk all the time. So I want to look a bit haggard."
While he says that in Remember Me he is basically playing himself, Georges Duroy probably is also closer to his own reality. Currently Pattinson lives out of three suitcases. "I live in hotel rooms," he admits. He had a grungy rented flat in London's Soho but let it go when it essentially became a crash pad for his buddies.
The young London-born star has kept his close friends close, and his family, too. "The fame thing's been good for one thing. My friends I grew up with are musicians and they were involved with a few songs on the Twilight soundtrack and it's amazing what's happened to them. They're doing tours of America and they're selling out every single show. My friend Sam Bradley did a show at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles and it sold out quicker on telephone presales than any show that's been there. Sam's unsigned [to a record deal] and there was no advertising, nothing. It's insane what you can do just by that connection."
Pattinson, who composes and sings, performed two songs for the Twilight soundtrack. He has been playing the piano since he was 5. Raised with two elder sisters – Lizzy, a musician, who's in the band Aurora; and Victoria, who's in advertising – Pattinson grew up in comfortable family surrounds.
His mother, Clare, used to work in a modelling agency, but it was his father Richard who suggested he become involved with amateur productions at Barnes Theatre Company. "That was only because he saw a bunch of pretty girls who were going there, and he said: 'Hey Rob, you've got to go do that.'"
Pattinson's parents are now both retired and live vicariously through their son's fame. "It's funny; I think they expect me to be reacting differently. They think it's more impressive than I think it is. Ultimately everyone in my life knows what's real – apart from my mother, who seems to believe every negative thing that's written about me."
Such as? "Oh, it was about sleeping with people and swearing and I wasn't even in the city at the time. She's like, 'No, I don't believe you; I bet you did say that.' She believes a gossip magazine over her own son. "My sister Lizzy just finds it bizarre. She was in America in May and sent me a text saying, 'It's ridiculous how famous you are!' It's weird, the mags print stuff every week even if I don't do anything."
Initially the fanaticism was stronger in the US, he says. "I came back to the UK at Christmas and was mostly left alone. Now it's everywhere," he shudders, laughing. "I keep waiting for the day when I wake up and I'm just an asshole to everybody."
The security is so tight around Pattinson now that he leads his life in a kind of bubble. "I'm usually half-carried in and out of buildings by bodyguards," he says. "It was driving me a little bit nuts at first, but you just learn to deal with it. If you keep being negative, if you keep saying, 'I hate this, I hate this' then you'd go crazy."
If only he could come up with an answer to the burning press pack question: "What does he look for in a girl?"
"Errr, money," he replies, "and an unbelievable amount of patience." Is it true that famous women try to hit on him? "That's all bullshit. Maybe I don't even realise that they're doing it ..."
He says he doesn't have a perfect girl, though admits, "she would have to be down-to-earth." So is there a celebrity he's adored? "Um," he stutters, struggling for an answer to yet another trite question. "I like Patricia Arquette in True Romance. She was always my pin-up. I like Linda Blair [from The Exorcist] as well."

T&T hit up the Beverly Wilshire Hills Hotel, about 10pm and both supposedly stayed overnight, not leaving until this morning. This of course on the heels of the two meeting up in Chicago a couple of weeks ago as Lautner travelled to see Swift on tour.

Ryan Gosling is NOT a Loser...
I had a failed mission of meeting Ryan Gosling Saturday Night in Vancouver. Although I did see him - twice - I didn't get to chat with him or snap a photo and therefore I deem it a failed mission.
Many people did see him however and they are luckylil bitches... people who I am very jealous of. LOL
Apparently after the show Ryan went out in Yaletown - *gasp* I know - surprising eh? It's the mecca of everything great and everyone famous it seems.

Peter Facinelli meets fans at Arizona State Fair
CullenBoysAnonymous attended the Arizona State Fair and met Peter Facinelli. They posted some great photos and stories on their blog.
Peter started the day out in a leather jacket but it didn’t take long before he took it off. It was quite warm & the crowd was standing in the sun the whole time. I have quite a sunburn & I’m sure I’m not the only one but it was all worth it!!

MTV: What was your favorite "New Moon" scene to shoot?
Ashley Greene: Of course, the Porsche was incredible, the whole experience of filming [that scene]. Working with Michael Sheen, it was just really funny how he created this whole atmosphere out of the scene and could switch it up. Everything that he did was a little bit inspired, and so the whole Volturi scene with him was really fun to do. [I also love] the whole Cullen scene, when Bella gets a paper cut and Jasper goes crazy — you haven't seen that side of him yet. The performances are great, and the whole dynamic is really great. That was one of my favorite scenes to watch.
MTV: You guys have become such good friends and have so much downtime between takes. What sort of things do you talk about when the cameras aren't rolling?
Greene: Between takes? Gosh, everything. YouTube was a big topic of conversation; we were sharing YouTube videos. Which was kinda funny, because [we'd be filming a] really intense situation, and then they would yell, "Cut!" and we would have 20 minutes and we'd break out "Kittens Inspired by Kittens." It's this little girl reading a kittens book. [Laughs.]
MTV: So Alice and Bella would be giggling between all that drama?
Greene: Yeah, there was a lot of that, just a lot of giggling and laughing. During "New Moon," especially in Italy, me and Kristen were, like, the only girls. So there was a lot of girly giggling going on.
MTV: Do you feel more like Alice now than when you did "Twilight"?
Greene: I feel like I was like the character a little bit anyways. I was really excited to play Alice in the beginning because she is a really positive, bright light — and a very moral vampire. I was saying in the beginning that I felt that I was [as well], and that was relatable. At least, I try to act [positively]; I don't know if we can all the time. [Also] she's really close with her family obviously, and that was there from the get-go, so I felt like the only other thing I could do to get closer would be to become a vampire or see the future. [Laughs.] [But] fashion-wise, yes. Fashion-wise, I have become a lot more like Alice Cullen, because she is probably the most fashionable out of the Cullen clan, and I've recently become obsessed with fashion.
MTV: There's so much "Twilight" merchandise out there. Do you own any?
Greene: I have a couple shirts. I have a couple things from "Twilight" that I want to keep as memorabilia, and so I have a couple shirts. I definitely have the necklace. While filming, Kellan bought the "Twilight" game, and we played. We made Xavier [Samuel] play it, the poor new kid. We were like, "The new kid will play!" and so we had Xavier come over and Peter Facinelli came over. Me and him and those two guys and Kellan played the "Twilight" game. And I won. I'm just saying. No big deal.
MTV: What is the secret to the success of the "Twilight" film franchise?
Greene: If I told you, I'd have to kill you. [Laughs.]

Just after Ashley Greene got back from wrapping Eclipse, she attended an art showing, titled Heartstrings, which featured the work of Todd Ciurcio. The exhibition was hosted by Ed Westwick of Gossip Girl. Ashley sure knows how to keep herself busy, and always beautiful!
This girl *is* beautiful and *does* keep busy.... I mean she was hanging with Ian Somerhalder back in April in Vancouver, spotted with Chase Crawford recently, Co-Stars such as Kellan Lutz and her hang out regularily (like the U2 concert last night in L.A.) and now Ed Westwick... no I am not saying she is banging them all, nor do I imply she gets around that way - just saying she certainly hangs with some HOT Hollywood men... rawr!
100 Monkey's Concert - The Venue Vancouver - October 25, 2009
The Farewell Concert for 100 Monkeys in Vancouver did not disappoint. The show was this evening at The Venue in Vancouver.
A packed house enjoyed all of the bands hits and new songs. Looks like a new c.d. coming out VERY soon - can't wait.
It was such an enjoyable show to spend with friends. I didn't get any great photos because I didn't have my camera battery charger, but friends got photos and my cell phone photos were tweeted via twitpic (they are blurry though).
Bleeding Horse Express opened and the lead guitarist had a shirt that said "Who the fuck is Jackson Rahtbone" very funny. They had brass instruments and great tunes. I really enjoyed them.
100 Monkeys came on and the crowd went nuts. They went through their set with familiar tunes (even the new ones are familiar now after so many Vancouver shows we have been able to enjoy) and lot's of singing along.
My fave song Keep Awake (I will Kill you in your sleep) was the song I was waiting for... I needed to use the bathroom so when I saw Jackson on drums I ran up to the rest room, knowing he wasn't on drums for my song... sure enough the next song was mine - I rushed down to sing-along with friends.... good times.
It was so amazing to see familiar faces and many of the friends I've met through Twilight - most who got a kick out of my shirt (the one I got for my birthday heh heh)
Met a few new people - placed faces with twitter names and overall just had a great time.
The line to meet the band was super long after the show so I decided not to wait. But I soon learned my friends were waiting and since one of them was my ride I ended up waiting also. I am glad I did - I always feel like I shouldn't wait in line and take away time that others who haven't met them could have - then i am always glad I do wait because they are such awesome guys!!

Ben G signed a pick for me - Jerad let me touch his hawk - Ben J thanked me for thanking him - Uncle Larry gave me kisses as always - Jackson promised he'd be back soon.
To each of them I told them thank-you for all the Vancouver Shows, I loved "Stay Awake" and hoped it would be included on their next album and hoped they'd return to Vancouver again soon.
Birthday Girl had a monkey shirt that said "Kiss Me - It's my birthday" she got lot's of kisses from people - I only witnessed the singer and the guitarist from the Opening band. I don't think she got Monkey Kisses... sadly.... though I may be wrong.
Overall, a great night and I can't wait for their new c.d as well as another show in Vancouver sometime soon :)

Twilight Saga Eclipse Wrap Party at Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park
The Twilight Saga Eclipse Wrap Party was held at the Vancouver Aquarium last night for the cast & crew who have been working hard to create the film over the past several weeks.
Let's face it, these people deserved a party.
The Vancouver Aquarium was the perfect spot. It is a perfect mix of elegence, intrigure and local Vancouver Pazazz.
I have been to a few soirée's there myself and they do not disappoint. There are multiple rooms available, I would assume they used most of the indoor areas for their party. My favourite spot is the large room that has an entire wall of windows looking into the beluga whale tank.... it is truly magical.
It is amazing having witnessed the process of both Twilight Saga New Moon and now Twilight Saga Eclipse happening in my own city. I have had some amazing adventures and experiences and met some fantastic people that I will never forget. With the uncertainty of where and when filming of Breaking Dawn will take place, I can honestly say, I am simply thrilled to have been around to witness New Moon and Eclipse.
I can't wait to see them both in theatres.

As a child I had overnight sleepovers in this same room with my Girl Guide Group and as an adult, I enjoy taking my daughter to this special place.
Although I do not know exactly what they dined on, the Vancouver Aquarium's Receptipion Menu features both hot and cold appetizers, Sushi Stations, Carving Tables and delictable desserts as well as full plated and buffet dinners. There were multiple open bars set up and the guests surely enjoyed this fantastic party.
It is reported that about 500 people attended the party that begun about 8pm. The party consisted of mostly crew and each person invited was able to bring one guest, although all had to show photo identification and were instructed to not bring cameras to the event for respect to the cast. (Some claim to have photos - we shall soon see I guess)
Since many of the cast have wrapped and left Vancouver, only a few of the remaining cast were in attendance.
At about 10pm Xavier Samuel was seen dressed up and leaving the location he is staying at. He returned a few minutes later and then left once more. Robert Pattinson is reported to have arrived to the party around the same time and stayed for about an hour. Mixed reports on if Kristen Stewart was there or not. Jackson Rahtbone's band 100 Monkey's played a set and I am pretty excited to attend their concert tonight in Vancouver.
I was not there so I can not confirm who was there or for how long and many reports coming in are not neccessarily reliable sources. However, I do know David Slade was there and twitpic'd this Crab photo along with many people involved in the creation of Twilight Saga Eclipse.
It is amazing having witnessed the process of both Twilight Saga New Moon and now Twilight Saga Eclipse happening in my own city. ...On Saturday it was Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner at Vancouver airport looking happy and relieved, making their exits with all their gear, now in promotion mode. With the release of New Moon less than a month away, we will be drowning in Twilight for the next several weeks as the actors embark on a massive publicity campaign that, for Summit, will hopefully result in a tremendous opening weekend take.

We're not quite finished yet though. A few scenes have yet to be shot and this will all happen in studio including "Edward" beating the sh-t out of and killing "Victoria" and...something to make you Twi-Hards jizzy:
My sources tell me exclusively that the final Eclipse scene to be filmed will involve some romance. "Bella" tries to work "Edward" Pattinson's Marble Pole. Also there's some corny banter about how he would have pursued her old school styles.

Has to be said, because damn, he’s ONLY 17, but for me personally, these are the first shots that have prompted a loud ass f-ckin’ inner monologue reminder that this sh-t is illegal. I don’t even care about the shoes. Taylor Lautner is not a boy anymore.
I am in total agreement regarding Taylor Lautner, he is looking all grown up and rawr.... however, I have far more to say on that later... like next week when I do a Taylor post ha ha.
Oh Ryan Gosling....
Ryan Gosling's band Dead Man's Bone played at The Venue in Vancouver last night. I went by earlier in the day and just missed them loading their equipment into the venue. Later I heard they were eating at a local resturant and again, just missed that.
I <3 Ryan Gosling... I'd trade in one of my Robert Pattinson encounters for a Ryan Gosling... but it just wasn't to be....
I was with a few friends and we waited in line to see if we could get tickets to the sold out show. They had "limited door sales available" and sadly a few girls in front of me got the last of them.
I went with friends for drinks and eats on Granville Street then returned at the end of the show. I went around back to see if they were loading up equipment and they were.... but they had 2 dozen spectators.
I figured this would be a lost cause, but I didn't want to give up. Ryan's sister came out to let us know they wouldn't be bringing Ryan out.
Many left. Some stayed. I was one of the stayers.
Many of the choir kids came out with smiles and autographs. He had a children's choire singing with him and they all got autographs - very cool.
When the door was open and they were loading equipment I saw Ryan Gosling walk by, he was looking right out at us and smiled as he chomped on some chewing gum.
Hotter than Hot!
A little while later the bouncer came out and shone a flashlight over to one side as a "distraction" meanwhile a car came up on the other side, the venue side door opened and Ryan ran out into the car and drove away.
Sad.
I mean, I have seen tons more fans at one time waiting for other "stars" and less of a crazy "attempted diversion" ha ha. Come on - a flashlight? ha ha!
Ah well, saw him once from inside, then saw him from the back as he left... it was a failed mission but better than nothing.
