This year the Interactive Zone brings us booths from upcoming movies like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Sin City 2, TV series including the Sleepy Hollow Headless-Horseman bridge, and a number of other activations, including the return of the Adult Swim Fun House. And good news for foodies- the local food trucks will be on hand to help curve those convention-going appetites as well.

Arrow spin-off, FLASH begins filming in Vancouver today

Arrow spin-off, FLASH began filming today at the UBC Pharmaceuticals building. Grant Gustin and costars Candice Patton and Jesse Martin were on set today. 

I am looking forward to seeing the pilot at Comic-con - I always love locally filmed television shows.

#Outlander Panel and Premiere at #SDCC

The world premiere of Starz 'Outlander' will happen at SDCC in addition to a panel:

Starz will present the highly anticipated new series “Outlander,” based on The New York Times bestselling novels penned by Diana Gabaldon with executive producer Ronald D. Moore at a panel on Friday, July 25^th at 2:15pm in room 6A at San Diego Comic Con.

“Outlander” spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure in one epic tale. It follows the story of Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a married combat nurse from 1945, who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743. Upon her arrival, she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited and Claire's heart is torn between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

“Outlander” premieres Saturday, August 9 at 9:00 pm ET/PT exclusively on STARZ and is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Left Bank Pictures in association with Sony Pictures Television.

AHS Coven will be at SDCC, though in a small room - this may be a mistake. Also excited for animation domination, which I have always attended and enjoyed...

I am looking forward to this as last year at SDCC was the first announcement that Family Guy and Simposon's would do a cross-over and my husband has been anxiously awaiting this episode:

The Family Guy panel on Saturday, July 25th, will give fans a more in-depth look at the Family Guy crossover episode where Peter and his family visit Springfield and meet The Simpsons - aka "The Simpsons Guy." The episode is set to air in September.

#WalkingDead Panel announced for #SDCC

Set for 12:20 p.m. PT July 25, The Walking Dead panel will last one hour in Hall H. There will be an autograph session shortly thereafter.

MC has officially announced this year's panel for hit TV show The Walking Dead at San Diego Comic Con, with participants including stars Andrew Lincoln, Steven Yeun, and Lauren Cohan, as well as showrunner Scott Gimple and co-creator Robert Kirkman

Other panelists include: Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Michael Cudlitz, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, executive producer and special effects make-up supervisor Greg Nicotero, and executive producer David Alpert. Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick will moderate the discussion.
