Magic Mike Premiere Details

June 29 I will be at my local theatre to see Magic Mike starring the very sexy Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey and more, get down and dirty as male strippers.

This movie is based loosely on Chan's real life before he was an actor, and all I can say is "DAMN, WHY DIDN'T I GO SEE MALE STRIPPERS IN FLORIDA!?!??!"

Good golly, I remember when the video of Channing came out from his previous career....

Anyways, my friends, who are awesome and know of my obsession intense love for CHANNING TATUM have been asking me about the premiere. I had planned to go, but I can't because of work and because they have selected it as the closing night filmn for L.A. Film Fest....

Magic Mike‘, which the Playlist says “is a big crowd-pleaser — for the ladies and dudes”, will have its world premiere as the closing-night film at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 24th. Individual tickets will go on sale on May 29th, but you can CLICK HERE to buy a pass to the festival.

So if you want to go either fork out money for the LAFF pass, or wait for the individual ticket sale May 29.

If you go I insist you tell ALL tell him Mandy in Vancouver says hi, he won't remember me, but I don't care, I met him 5 times in 3 glorious days in March and he held my hand and said my name and *sigh*

Let me know if you go!!!

Welcome to the Riley's Screening at LAFF

Here is Kristen Stewart tonight at the Welcome to the Riley's (WTTR) Premiere at LAFF

How tired must Kristen be?

Can't wait to see this movie? Here's a reivew from @Larry411:

At first glance Ken Hixon's screenplay says Pretty Woman meets My Fair Lady, with businessman Doug Riley (James Gandolfini) on a mission to tame wild stripper Mallory (Kristen Stewart). The story takes us in a more unexpected direction, however, and its originality begins to emerge. Welcome to the Rileys isn't about redemption per se, but the way that we are inexplicably changed by the strangers who serendipitously enter our lives.

The Rileys are Doug (James Gandolfini) and Lois (Melissa Leo), and it's apparent from the start that their marriage has seen better days. While barely hinting at the tragedy which has slowly pushed them apart, Doug spends more and more time away from home while Lois stays locked inside. On a routine trip to a convention in New Orleans, a visit to a strip club places a young runaway (Kristen Stewart) into Doug's lap. What happens next is not as predictable as it seems, and a fuse is lit which burns ever so slowly as the lives of these three lost souls are altered in the most unpredictable ways.

Sounds amazing!

Eclipse Premiere Information

I didn't post anything sooner becaue, if you follow twitter, there was a ton of back and forth conflicting information so I waited it out and now have what is (hopefully) the final word on the Eclipse Premiere.

Per Summit:

To confirm - the official premiere of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is on June 24 at Nokia in LA Live during the LAFF.

Screening tickets are by invitation only or for sale through LA Film Festival. Passes that get you into the screening are in 2 different packages ranging $500-$1000. These packages include the other movies at the film fest and parties. With the highest package you will be VIP and not have to wait in line.

Passes go on sale May 10th, more info HERE.

There are 7000 seats in the Nokia theater in LA but if you want to guarantee you get in you want to purchase your passes as soon as possible.

Many people paired up and split the cost as the package includes 2 tickets to most events. I will not be attending as we have our own event opening night and will be busy preparing for it that week anyways, though if I had the funds I'd be there in a heart beat ;)
