Up in the Air out on dvd March 9, 2010. It seems so soon, but I guess time is just flying by when yout hink of it in terms of movies pre-production, filming, post-production, release, dvd release cycle... the # of great movies out / coming out is astounding.

George Clooney teaches Robert Pattinson on how to be social

Robert Pattinson is not exactly known for being overly gregarious with his fans in public. But who knows – that could change if he keeps hanging out with Pierce Brosnan.

The two actors worked together in the upcoming film Remember Me, and in their downtime together, the former James Bond, 56, mentored the young Twilight heartthrob in the art of handling the gawking masses.

"He's totally recognizable, and he makes no effort to tone it down," Pattinson tells Vogue for its March issue. "Some people were glancing over at us in the restaurant, and he just went over and introduced himself. And it does work. It dissipates all the attention."

What, that's not Pattinson's typical approach? "Me? I just crawl under the table," he says.

Pattinson, 23, still seems baffled by the absurd nature of fame in today's unblinking public eye. "Everybody knows where everybody is," he says. "The Twitter thing is unbelievable."

And now, of course, with his anonymity totally gone, Pattinson has to deal with hordes of fans even while filming.

"It was the most ridiculous experience," he says of shooting Remember Me. "You're trying to stay in character and you're trying to walk down the street, but all those people keep reminding you that you're not this character."

George Clooney puts his money where his mouth is

George Clooney is putting his money where his all-star organizing mouth is.

He's not the first—and we hope won't be the last—but the consummate movie star is the latest to make a $1 million donation to the Haiti relief efforts.

He joins the rarified world of Sandra Bullock, Gisele Bündchen and Brangelina in making the milestone personal donation, which, as it happens, is his second seven-figure offering in as many weeks.

Clooney was already part of the $1 million sum kicked in by Not On Our Watch, along with Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle and Jerry Weintraub.

If Clooney's generosity is contagious, other stars will step up to the plate as well as the phone banks when they align for tomorrow night's Hope for Haiti telethon, which will not only air across most networks (including E!), but will also be streaming live at E! Online.

Hope for Haiti Telethon Friday - Robert Pattinson Appearing?

Several days ago Gossip Cop told you Robert Pattinson had not yet been approached to participate in this Friday’s “Hope for Haiti” telethon, but a source close to the actor said, “I’m sure Robert would participate if asked.”

We passed the message along to organizer George Clooney’s people, and today it appears as though the “Twilight” star is on board.

A source close to Pattinson tells Gossip Cop he’s doing the event, saying, ”We are in the process now of working out his participation from London.”

Gossip Cop is working to confirm other possible additions to the list of participants. We will keep you posted on what we learn.

Haiti obviously needs as much financial support as possible, so the more big names to lend a hand, the better.

Pattinson will be the sole London presenter however he will be joined by performes Bono and Jay.

Other performers/presenters/phone bank helpers include Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt, Anna Kendrick, Sandra Bullock, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Renée Zellweger, Chris Pine, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Colin Farrell, Jon Hamm, Gabby Sidibe and Emily Blunt, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z, Bono, Shakira and Alicia Keys. George Clooney will host from Los Angeles while Wyclef Jean will host from New York. Again, the telethon will be this Friday at 8pm and will be televised on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, CMT, the Style Network the National Geographic Channel and E.

I loved Up in the Air.. and EW Magazine is featuring it

I finally saaw this movie last night and I have to say - it was freaking amazing. There were so many great moments and the story was just cute. Anna was phenomenal, I was made / sad at one part and the dancing/wedding reception was a tad long - but otherwise - it was a perfect movie!

Here are some cute photos for EW:

George Clooney calls Robert Pattinson "Mr. Handsome" says Anna Kendrick

Twilight beauty Anna Kendrick said George Clooney teases her for starring in the vampire flick.

The 24-year-old plays Bella Swan's pal Jessica in the Twilight Saga movies and also stars alongside George Clooney in Up In The Air.

Talking on Ellen DeGeneres' chatshow, Kendrick told how Clooney, 48, was jealous of teen idol Pattinson, 23.

She said: 'George gave me such a hard time about shooting Twilight. Whenever I came back, it was like: 'Oh, sorry, this isn't the Twilight set. You're not working with Mr Handsome.' He called Rob 'Mr Handsome'.'
