I do not like this pairing one bit.

I am tired of all these talented, hot, young celebs hookingup with young, celeb gals just because.

We all knowhow these go - and while there are some young celeb gals who I adore, most of them are spoiled and catty and haven't figured out who they are yet.

Not that the young males have either - many are in the same boat - but CHord seems like such a nice young man, and Emma Roberts, seems so - not nice!

While I have only seen her in person once, I have seen numerous interviews and get the impression she is kind of a bitch... maybe I am wrong.. it's not like we are besties.

I know, I am being judgey, but I guess I get sick of young celebs dating young celebs just because "no one else gets how we live" or more often for publicity!

Remember Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez? and now Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez? There are a ton of them that all hook up and swap and it is just one big major eye roll for me.

Anything with Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, any Jonas Brother, Taylor Swift (who is the only one I actually adore!) they hook-up, break-up, and write songs about it ha ha ha.

I am really starting to like them as a couple. I mean Ashley is always photographed dong boring things like shopping or pumping gas and of course on her cell.... now at least there is some boy toy on her arm... he was never photographed so much was he?

And I find him to be kinda "pure" and "innocent" and her... well... not.

But I do think she is kind of boring so together they seem to fit in an unexpected way - wonder how much longer it will last?

Taylor Lautner headed to Brazil?

I have been AWOL recently but am getting back into everything now that my insanely busy month of October is over and my first week of NAPPING IN NOVEMBER is over....

I guess there are rumours that Taylor may go to Brazil? Seems unlikely as he has no reason to crash the honeymoon, imagine.... ha ha oh how Twilight would change ;)

Anyhow, having just heard this rumour and being extrmely late to the party, I turned to experts on the latest and greatest.... here is the low down:

1.Twilight Lexicon thinks it might be a dream sequence that Bella has about Jacob and Nessie.

Others think it’s just reporters assuming Taylor is coming because the Rob, Kristen , and Taylor’s names are frequently linked in the PR and the reporters just aren’t that familiar with the books. With Stephenie Meyer as producer, it’s hard to imagine a script run off the rails so far as to have Jake as a third wheel on Isle Esme.

The other item that might come into play is that Ashley Greene is currently in South America accompanying the Jonas Brothers on their current South American Tour which is just about over. It left us wondering if she is going to hop over to Rio to film any sequences that involve looking for Nahuel and Huelin.

2. The Twilight Examiner gives us this to ponder:

On page 673, there's a moment in which Bella has prepared the paperwork for Jacob and Renesmee to escape (via J. Jenks - you remember that part, I'm sure), and she has a hope that Alice and Jasper, who she knows are in South America because they have sent Zafrina and Senna along to help, will be of assistance to them.

Then I stared at the blank ivory page for a full five minutes, concentrating on my decision. Alice might not be able to see Jacob or Renesmee, but she could see me. I visualized her seeing the moment, hoping desperately that she wasn't too busy to pay attention.

Slowly, deliberately, I wrote the words RIO DE JANEIRO in all caps across the page.

What I'm thinking is that Alice might visualize the decision and the result - Jacob and Renesmee in Rio. That would explain them bringing Taylor Lautner and Mackenzie Foy along for the Isle Esme ride in Rio, wouldn't it? Of course, it could be a whole lot more creative than that - Bella visualizing the two gallivanting around in peace in Rio, Alice picturing meeting up with them in Rio (by that logic, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone would have to head to Rio, too, I suppose), etc. Still, the concept that this is a vision of some sort is strong, and it also lends credibility to reports which suggest Lautner (and potentially Foy) might join the others in Brazil.

It's just one idea, and of course there is nothing official to say Lautner actually is going to Rio. But you hear things often enough, and it makes you wonder. Looking at the books, this seems like a plausible explanation, right? Your thoughts?

My Baton Rouge Visit

It is so interesting that these cast mates are being spotted in the very same place I was wandering last week... ;) heh heh

As soon as I saw the shots of Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas out and about then Kellan as well and finally the "Holy Trinity" Rob, Kristen and Taylor at the studio... I felt that excitement of filming.

Even though I am not in Baton Rouge (or rather, they are not here filming) I am still excited to bring as much news as I can throughout filming via my very awesome friends who live in Baton Rouge.

I've recieved a few emails from them already but obviously I don't feel it is my place to blog all the nitty gritty (but I promise to give you as much as I am confortable with... those of you who followed me during NM and E here in Vancouver know I try to be respectful of the actors and not give away their location until they have left, or a set address until they have wrapped. There is a reason for this, I have met crazy-scary fans who were out to cause problems and it is not my place to give them the location to do so!!!)

That being said - here is the latest and greatest "inside scoop" (if you want to call it that) on filming in Baton Rouge...

MY EXPERIENCE IN BATON ROUGE - - -

While I was there we did NOT see any cast, but for me it was really exciting to be in the area we knew they would be spending time in.

A friend of mine had the low-down on where the cast was booked to stay and we wandered through the area and it's a really nice community.

Baton Rouge has a really nice small town feel that I think may allow cast to feel more comfy to be out and about. I know that where Rob and Kristen and Taylor are staying (different from the rest of the cast) is NOT accessible. Nor are they going to be there for long... once they move, I have a feeling those three will be spotted far less than people hope - time will tell.

A friend I know talked to her friend who works at the location Rob is staying (apparently he was there when we were!!) but security is very tight on his whole floor and even staff do not come past the elevator. (ie - room service was brought to Rob's people at the elevator who brought it to his room)

Rumours are that Rob & Kristen are sharing a "love nest" and while I have NO IDEA my friend says (since no staff had access to that floor to confirm who is rooming with who) they are/were at least on the same floor - - think waht you may with that info ;) ha ha "Love nest" seems plausible non?

Apparently Rob (& Kristen?) will be moving from that spot to a private residence shortly (if not already - perhaps that is the LOVE NEST? ha ha) Reminds me of Vancouver when much of the cast moved to the private condo's more privacy, space, and security!

Speaking of security, when I went to the studio I chatted with the head security at length (about local food, various productions including Breaking Dawn, Battleship with Alexander Skarsgård, and Faith Ford's voice over work... she actually drove by and said hi as we were chatting)

They informed me that in addition to their full security staff the production company was bringing in excessive security of their own for the "twilight movie" He also said they were erecting 8 foot black privacy screens around the perimeter.

He also said we were the "first ones" to come asking about Twilight - ha ha - I assured him we were NOT the last ;)

I was so glad to be able to pop by the studio while in Louisiana. Though I spent most of my time in NOLA, we spent a day in BR to meet friends and also to go through Hammond/Ponchatoula to visit my ex's gravestone :(

Overall the trip was fun with my girlies and informative. Now, when my friend emails me details about filming or cast sightings I have been there and can understand the area better - - my trip was "research" ha ha that's it LOL

"We are the World" re-make

How different is the "We are the World" remake from the original version, which shined a light on famine in Africa 25 years ago?

Well, Lil Wayne is singing Bob Dylan's verse this time around and Justin Bieber is singing Lionel Richie's opening line. And as far as the sound goes, mtv.com said it has a "modern Southern hip-hop bounce to it."

As if that isn't confusing enough for your grandparents, the video is being shot in 3-D.

Mandy's Mind - The Grammy's 3D was an epic fail - unless red/blue 3D glasses start coming with every television set it's just blurry and headachey to watch the 3D.

The remake has been in the works for a while but changed its focus last month after the earthquake in Haiti. "We Are The World - 25 for Haiti," recorded in a Hollywood studio on Monday (they wanted to take advantage of the star power in town for the Grammys), will now have a Haiti angle. All profits from the single will go to the earthquake victims.

The original song, which featured Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Ray Charles and Diana Ross, raised $63 million.

Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie brought back the "We Are the World" project 25 years after Richie wrote the song with Michael Jackson.

The very large cast of very large stars was surely hard to manage. Kanye West reportedly showed up to the Jim Henson Studios with an entourage complete with girlfriend Amber Rose and a film crew. In 1985, Quincy Jones did his best to get his talent in line by hanging a sign over the studio entrance that said, "Check Your Ego at the Door."

Mandy's Mind - I heard on the radio that Taylor Swift opted out... knowing Kanye West was there, I don't blame her. I would have rather had her than Kanye quite honestly! And the "Check your Ego at the Door" should have been enforced this time, 25 years later, when ego's are out of control from people such as Kanye and others on the list.

While the orginal recording was sold to raise money in the fight against world famine, the remake will be sold to benefit victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. Many stars have already started talking about the experience, and it sounds like it will match up to the original.

Nicole Richie was there with her father, Lionel Richie, when he worked on the original. This time she was there with husband Joel Madden and their son, Sparrow. She wrote on her Twitter Monday, "WOW. Brian Wilson stood next to me & I got to hear him sing right into my left ear. Can you say AWESOME!"

Meanwhile young singer Justin Bieber said he could barely keep his eyes off Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. He Tweeted, "Singing We Are The World right now with celine dion next to me!! Everyone is here!! I'm meeting everyone!! This is insane! Ok ok chill."
