Details Interview with Robert Pattinson - Safe
Many Details Magazine photos are NSFW - This post is safe.
Robert Pattinson interviewed and did a photoshoot for Details Magazine. But it's not for the youngins... like Details Interview with my boy Channing Tatum, it is more adult oriented, and I love it.
The real, the raw, is far more interesting than the same old sugar-coated, rehersed questions and responses. The interviewer has met Robert before in NYC and skips the courtesy "get to know you" questions and jumps right into the nitty gritty.
Accompanied with the sexiest photos I've seen Vanity Fair's Outtakes.
I am thrilled to be purchasing a copy ASAP!!

Olympic Opening Ceremonies
Well.... in one word... amazing!
I had perma-goosebumps, shed more tears than I care to admit and overall just LOVED every second of the Winter Olympic Games opening Ceremonies in Vancouver.
No, I wasn't down town, I was comfy, cozy on my couch with my husband and kiddo enjoying the show on the big screen.
Part of me would have liked to be downtown and perhaps see the legendary Wayne Gretzky cruise by with the torch, but the angles, commentary, High-definition and comfort of my own home was most enjoyable.
I did tweet throughout so scroll down and you can get my own play-by-play.
I also twitpict screen caps from my television to go with comments about the show.
I have to say I can't recall a time that I have felt so excited and proud to be Canadian.
From the light show to the amazing audience participation with lights and movement, to the whales that seemingly swam across the floor where giant trees then grew and mountains stood.... the effects were amazing.
The talented performers such as KD Lang, Bryan Adams, Nelly Furtado and Ashley McIsaac moved me and made me remember how many amazing and talented artists are Canadian.
Dancers and Singers and Fiddlers and Athletes and Dignitaries all shared the stage and it was truly memorable.
There were so many awesome moments and I am so excited to have the 2010 Olympics Here.
My excitement has been slowly mounting but after the torch relay running by my house, then Grouse Mountain, the Opening Ceremonies peaked my excitment and now I plan to just treasure this amazing experience.
If you missed the Opening Ceremonies I encourage you to find it online as there were some amazing performances and effects and it was such a special event.
I really loved Shane Koyczan "We are More" where he defines Canadians. I don't want VANOC on my ass so here is a youtube video of him (not at the olympic ceremony, but the same poem, though his pace tonight was much more emotional and moving) The transcript is below the video.

and little number ninety-nines
but we're more than just hockey and fishing lines
off of the rocky coast of the Maritimes
and some say what defines us
is something as simple as please and thank you
and as for you're welcome
well we say that too
but we are more
than genteel or civilized
we are an idea in the process
of being realized
we are young
we are cultures strung together
then woven into a tapestry
and the design
is what makes us more
than the sum total of our history
we are an experiment going right for a change
with influences that range from a to zed
and yes we say zed instead of zee
we are the colours of Chinatown and the coffee of Little Italy
we dream so big that there are those
who would call our ambition an industry
because we are more than sticky maple syrup and clean snow
we do more than grow wheat and brew beer
we are vineyards of good year after good year
we reforest what we clear
because we believe in generations beyond our own
knowing now that so many of us
have grown past what used to be

filled with all the hope people have
when they say things like "someday"

we are the abandoned hesitation of all those who can't wait

we are millions upon millions of voices shouting
" keep exploring... we are more"
we are the surprise the world has in store for you
it's true
Canada is the "what" in "what's new?"
so don't say "been there done that"
unless you've sat on the sidewalk
while chalk artists draw still lifes
on the concrete of a kid in the street
beatboxing to Neil Young for fun
don't say you've been there done that

let this country be your first-aid kit
for all the times you get sick of the same old same old

leave chapters for the next time you'll come back
next time pack for all the things

Matt Lauer Interviews Michael Bublé on Today Show LIVE at Grouse Mountain in Vancouver BC
Some friends and I were there live at 4am this morning for the filming of the Today Show at GRouse Mountain in Vancouver BC.
The highlight, Michael Bublé.
I have videos, photos, and yes i got to meet him and get a pic <3 I am working off of VERY little sleep (We are talking up over 30 hours after 5 hours sleep and then only 3 hours of sleep after that 30 hours... so bare with me) Here is a video of Matt Lauer interviewing Michael Bublé before his performances. Reviews, more pics, more videos coming later... I need to relax a bit before the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics. Busy Times - but Lot's of goodness coming your way.

I am writing this at 9pm Thursday and setting it on schedule to post Friday morning ni the wee hours.
I am heading out in a moment to meet a group of lovely girlfriends for an adventurous evening.
We are going to stock up on treats and caffine (ok and some Bailey's as well) and go up to Grouse Mountain to (hopefully) get into the Today Show's live taping at 4am.
MATT LAUER, MEREDITH VIEIRA, ANN CURRY & AL ROKER will be on hand and the line-up for the day's show is as follows:
February 12, 2010 NBC Today's guests are:
•Jeret “Speedy” Peterson - is a World Cup aerial skier from Boise, Idaho, skiing out of Bogus Basin. Still the only skier in the World to perform the "Hurricane", the world can expect to see Speedy standing finish on the podium in Vancouver.
•Emily Cook - US Aerial Olympian Emily Cook overcame significant injuries to both her feet to win her first World Cup victory in an aerials event in Russia in 2008. Emily’s best finish at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships was fourth in the aerials at Inawashiro in 2009.
•Daniel Boulud - Acclaimed chef and restaurateur - "Today's" Sarah Haines will give Kathie Lee and Hoda the daily Olympic dish from Grouse Mountain for the fourth hour. The first segment will feature acclaimed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud showcasing dishes from two of his Vancouver restaurants, DB Bistro and Lumiere.
•Michael Bublé - Internationally renowned singer Michael Buble recently released his chart-topping song “Haven’t met you yet”, and the Canadian will mesmerize guests in the Peak Chalet performing his most popular music.
Of course, it is Michael Bublé who we are most excited to see.
Wish us luck on our overnight excursion for the 4am filming <3

Today marks the start of a VERY busy weekend no, couple of weeks.
I am up at this early hour on the west coast because the Olympic Torch is in my town and I am going to go see it.
Here's what I've posted in the last few hours - check back often and scroll down for new posts.

Breaking Dawn as 2 Movies - No so Breaking News
There really seems to be no NEW NEWS.... instead, some sites trying to benefot from Twi-Fan Traffic by posting old stuff, re-worded, to seem new.
For example, Gossip Cop says:
Mandy's Mind - None of this seems new to me.... it simply is still gossip / rumour that 2 movies will be made, which is kind of what we have all suspected based on "several sources" over the past several months.
Basically, these sites, and others, are saying what we already know, with titles that seem like it's new and official.
Will there be 2 movies? Proabably, but that's what we have all thought for weeks now, even months.
Has there been any new development in this story?
No.
Re-read these pieces from these sites... Summit rep gives no official word. No given source. No official word. It's all the same gossip, being brought up again as more legit....
*sigh*

Anyways - for all of those asking - - - Yes I think it is 2 movies, no I don't think these new "Breaking Stories" are the result of any new news, simply something to get the twi-fans in a tizzy and draw attention and traffic back to their sites during a slow time because of Remember Me News, New Moon dvd News and Olympic News - - leaving them with the need to re-hash old stuff with a twist.

For example, Gossip Cop says:
“Breaking Dawn” is going to be adapted into two movies.While Deadline states:
The official word given to Gossip Cop from a rep for Summit is, “No decision has been made and as we have said all along we are continuing to work with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen.”
HOWEVER, a well-placed source tells Gossip Cop dividing Breaking Dawn into two pictures “is the direction that it’s going in.” We’re told that from a practical standpoint, separating the story into two parts and shooting back-to-back is what makes most sense.
Earlier reports seem to be fairly accurate when it comes to timing, specifically, that filming may begin in October.
Gossip Cop will keep you posted when plans are officially finalized.
I have this from several sources, and it's definitive. Filming on the back-to-back movies would begin in mid-October, and Summit Entertainment is looking at "high-end" directors.
Mandy's Mind - None of this seems new to me.... it simply is still gossip / rumour that 2 movies will be made, which is kind of what we have all suspected based on "several sources" over the past several months.
Basically, these sites, and others, are saying what we already know, with titles that seem like it's new and official.
Will there be 2 movies? Proabably, but that's what we have all thought for weeks now, even months.
Has there been any new development in this story?
No.
Re-read these pieces from these sites... Summit rep gives no official word. No given source. No official word. It's all the same gossip, being brought up again as more legit....

Anyways - for all of those asking - - - Yes I think it is 2 movies, no I don't think these new "Breaking Stories" are the result of any new news, simply something to get the twi-fans in a tizzy and draw attention and traffic back to their sites during a slow time because of Remember Me News, New Moon dvd News and Olympic News - - leaving them with the need to re-hash old stuff with a twist.
