Five unknown “super fans” selected by ABC will also be part of the cast, as well as one more cast-off from Maynard’s season, who will be revealed at a later date. (I am hoping Arie)

In the "super fans" there is a set of twins, Brittany and Erica. See the superfans and all the cast with photos and bios here.

Bachelor Pad 2

I can't believe Kasey & Vienna are still kicking it. I really don't get how or why people keep saving them? Well, I do know why, they have percieved power... but it is not real! Clearly! Erica and Blake let them have the safety roses so that they could get everyone to vote for them to stay, but Michelle and Graham wouldn't do it and so Blake & Erica left, leaving Kirk and Ella to keep playing, which I am happy about.

If Vienna or Kasey win I will boycott!

At this point, all the crew are filming their finale and I tweeted with a few of them about it. I am excited to see Jackie (who is not with Ames anymore and was feeling nervous about the taping, porr thing, I told her to be honest and be herself because that is what we love about her right?) and Gia, who you remember left in tears unable to hack it, she is just too sweet for the show I guess.

Anyhow, a few weeks left and we get a winner. I would love to see Ella/Kirk get it. I do not want Kasey and Vienna to, I don't like Holly, though I do like Michael (and hear they are back together?!?!) I didn't like Michelle and I don't remember Graham, but I like them now... I don't know I am rooting for Ella at this point - yes, her "story" is moving.... Sue me for having emotions!

Bachelor Pad 2 Episode 2

This episode was tough to watch. I am not a fan of Erica, yet I had tears in my eyes for her. I am not a fan of Vienna, but I really began to feel sorry for her today. I realized some men appreciate true love over money and can take a leap of faith, while others will do anything to get ahead, even if it is hurtful or hateful.

That, was tonight's episode....

The challenge involved paint filled eggs. My first question? Who the heck filled them up!? I have done Easter Egg decorations with my daughter and we do hard-boiled because draining those things of yolk, through little holes... yea - no way!

Anyways the men were targets first and the women were asked demoralizing questions such as:

Who is the least attractive?
Who does not deserve the money?
Who do you want to send home?

They would huck their paint filled egg at the person, Jake got the most for the men and I felt bad for the guy. I mean, I really liked him originally, then after the live break-up when he snapped at Vienna I felt like maybe he had a dark side, and now, I think she is bat shit crazy and it is NOT just the producers editing making her look nuts.

Then they switched and then men tossed eggs at the women. They almost all chose Erica as the least attractive and the one they would send home next, it was absolutely devestating to watch. Yes, she is "thicker" than the other women, but she is still thinner than the average American. She also has giant injected lips and acts like a total princess... I am not a fan of her, but tonight, seeing her pegged with paint filled eggs repeatedly, I felt so bad. I was in tears! How hurtful! I am sure she is a wonderful person, despite the character she portrays on tv, and either way no one deserves to feel that little about themselves because of pompous reality tv men!

In the end it was Melissa and Michael won.

Michael took Michelle, Erica and Holly on the date to an old asylum where they walked through the creepy place with night cams and squeals of fear at possible ghosts. Michael felt bad for pelting Erica in the back, as he should, and they had a sweet moment of trying to have a seance ha ha. In the end, after some Michelle Money's trademark meddling, Michael gave Holly the rose and they had some sweet talk on the roof about their relationship and how they are still in love but confused and had bad timing.

I have heard they are not only together now still but expecting?

Melissa chose Kasey, Blake and ... they went on a yaht and Melissa's plan was to give the rose to Kasey, but she fell victim to the sexy-on-mute Blake's charms. They had an awkward make-out session and she gave him the rose. Melissa tweeted later than Kasey and her agreed to do that since who ever got the rose stayed for romantic time after, but the show made it seem like Kasey was upset. Who knows!

Later Blake and Holly get close, which is awkward since her ex fiance is in the house and Melissa has decided her and Blake are an item. She comes across clingy and crazy again while Blake says some incredibly mean things and compares himself to a prostitute but regretting aligning with "the crazy one" Dramaz

In the end ABC decides Jake can't go home yet so they change the rules to say two women are leaving and that the women will vote also. More drama and Gia leaves on her own, then it's between Jackie and Ella - randomly.

Sadly Jackie goes home, leaving the romantic Ames in shock. He says his good-bye's then as he walks back to the crowd he simply says "bye" and runs to the limo where he enters and joins Jackie.... awnnnn....

This just lit my heart with happy flames. I so love Ames. I mean, I didn't get it at first on Ashley's season, but then, I saw it unfortunately the night he was sent home. Now on Bachelor Pad, to see him and Jackie fall in such a short time, I felt like it was something special also. For him to leave like that?! And Jackie seems incredible, but I have heard they are already broken up - - - total Buzz Kill!

*le sigh*

Maybe Ames will be the next Bachelor? I absolutely adore him now!

Anyways, looks like this season continues to be, as William tweets, the Jake and Vienna Show... and he is an extra!

I am tired of it but I get that it brings in the ratings.

Next week I hope for more drama and less douchery from stupid people... is that too much to ask? Yes, I know - far too much to ask, this is reality tv after all - famewhores unite!

Reality TV Update August 8, 2011

I am doing this early this week because I am going camping until Friday and won't get to see all the wonderful reality tv episodes this week until then.

I made up for it tonight though... I watched Hells Kitchen, Bachelor Pad 2 Premiere, Masterchef and SYTYCD Canada Top 4 Results. Yes, all in one night after running errands all day and packing all night. I am an insomniac, multi-taker and clearly crazy!

But, let's move onto reality tv tonight shall we?

Bachelor Pad

Finally, season 2 premiered tonight and it did NOT disappoint. We have the Vienna, Kasey, Jake triangle, the ex-engaged couple, previous hookups, haters, and overall a lot of drama. Jake and Jackie won the first challenge and stupidly gave the 3rd rose to Vienna as a peace offering. The crazy bitch didn't care and the women almost sent out Vienna's boyfriend Kasey. I almost feel bad for Kasey to be honest, Vienna is so mean to him! In the end it was Canadian wrestler, Rated-R Superstar who went home along with Ali. The two were flip-flopping "sides" and sent packing. It looks like a great season of drama.

See cast list here and also what they are most memorable from in their previous season(s)

SYTYD Canada

The top 14 performed. It wasn't the best I have seen this season but I did a recap and power rankings here if you wish to read details. I am still team Jordan and Joey!

Hells Kitchen

There was the ongoing drama of Carrie & Elise. Did you notice Elise has a tattoo on her chest... it says "Elise" *eye roll* I dislike her greatly, but realize she stays for entertainment value only. Even Jamie and her had it out tonight! There was a cool challenge in the first half of the episode where they made food using beer, mmmm, my husband enjoyed that part! Dinner Service had drama as always but in the end it was Krupa who went home.

MasterChef

This episode felt like Hells Kitchen as contestents were in the kitchen at Patina serving guests. Red Team was Ben & Christian led by team leader Suzy. Blue team was Adrian & Jennifer led by team captain Tracy. Ramsay ran the kitchen and it truly felt like Hells Kitchen final 6. Red struggled in the start but pulled together after switching Ben to a different station. In the end it was the Blue team sent to the pressure test where they had a king salmon to scale, fillet, portion and cook to perfection.

Tracy, Adrian and Jennifer began the pressure test after watching the master Chef Ramsay do it with such ease, they were in for an eye-opener when they actually attempted it.

Adrian took a long time to scale the fish and his portions were not perfect. Tracy left a lot on the bones and much of the tail. Jennifer did an excellent job portioning and had next to no waste but a few scales remainging.

As far as cooking Jennifers was slightly undercooked, Adrian's over cooked and Tracy's was undercooked.

In the end Tracy went home.

BIG BROTHER

Sunday's Show announced Kalia's nominations, Jeff and Rachel. Of course since then the Power of Veto has been played, won and possibly used? If you want to know more read my spoiler post from this morning

Well, that's it for me this week. Check back Friday for the rst of this week in Reality TV Fun!

Reality TV Update July 29 2011

I just updated a few days ago but obviously, this week's results were not posted... so here is a mini-update basedon the past few days - but read here for a more detailed updatedon last week's Reality TV Shows.

Bachelorette - Sunday is the Men-Tell-All and Monday is the finale. Can't wait.

Bachelor Pad - Starts next week, should be exciting!!

Hells Kitchen - Chino went home. I wasn't too shocked, though Monterray could have gone. Also Elise and Carrie had a show-down. Elise asked Chef Ramsey to ask "everyone" who should go her or Carrie... everyone said "Elise" it was pretty funny. Next week they serve children. Fun!

Masterchef - President Obama had a speech so they re-aired the Top 10 and we got to see Guiseppie go home again. Then the next night was a new episode and Alejendra went home.

More details here

SYTYCD Canada - Results HERE.

SYTYCD USA - I am really upset Jess went home. I really felt that Ricky was the weakest performer, even more so than Tadd. At this point, I am rooting for Marko and Melanie, though I do like Tadd also...

Love in the Wild - I thought it was funny how Ben and Brandee didn't choose each other until the end. I thought it was adorable that - - - of course I can't think of her name now - - but she left because her partner hurt his foot and left.... cute!!

Challenege - RIvals - I haven't seen this week's yet.

More here

Big Brother - My latest update here but I post every few days so scroll down to see.

More Next Week!

Reality TV Updates - July 26, 2011

See my previous update here

Bachelorette

I have to say, I was shocked that Constantine lasted as long as he did, so was not surprised he would be going. I was surprised on HOW he went home. I am glad he was honest, and also glad Ashley had to rethink this whole "I am the Bachelorette" thing - I am not a huge fan of hers, in case you couldn't tell from past posts. I still think she will end up with JP, though I want her to be with Ben. I think it is a better fit and I really want to see JP as a Bachelor in the future.

Speaking of future Bachelors, that clip of Ryan on Bachelorette Monday sure sounded like an ad for the next Bachelor no? I have heard rumours he or the rejected Bachelor on next week's finale may be the next one... thoughts? I think Ben is too boring, so it he ends up with Ashley, then JP would be great! Ryan is too corn-ball for a whole season. Ames, William or Blake would be interesting, but we will see them starting in two weeks on B-Pad.

Bachelor Pad

The countdown is on the ads are getting me hyped. I mean, Vienna with new "guard and protect my heart" boyfriend in a house with Jake. Then there is Gia as well, who was dating *ahem sleeping with* bad boy Wes, but rumoured to split because Vienna slept with him? The drama is never-ending and I can't wait to see it.

Here is the list of cast this season

Hell's Kitchen

I have to say, I am happy to have twice a week episodes versus two hour episodes like last time. The drama tonight was awesome! I knew Carrie and Elise would stay simply for their catfights. Elise and Carrie are at each other's throats constantly, and then tonight getting the sous chef's pissed off - wow! I love seeing Chef Scott mad and I thought he was going to deck Monterey!

I am still a fan of Jonathan and Jamie out of everyone. Was shocked to see Brendon go home so soon, especially with the sexual chemistry with Carrie, would have made good tv.

Meet Season 9 Hell's Kitchen Contestents here

Masterchef

Suzy really pisses me off. I was so glad to see her fail today, her and Christian are so cocky, but at least Christian (usually) has reason to be. I mean Adrian beat him (barely) and got to pick the ingredients tonight, but even giving Christian pork cheeks, yes, CHEEKS, Christian made one of the best dishes! Amazing! I am anxious to see him get put in his place though, yes, he is good, but such a jerk to everyone else! Also I love the guy with the colourful chef hats, I can't think of his name at the moment, but he just cracks me up! Double dose of Chef Ramsey twice a week makes me a happy camper!

SYTYCD Canada
We are down to the Top 16 after tonight and I have to say I have been pretty good at predicting Canada's vote. I am still rooting for Jordan, but really love Joey and his new partner Melissa. It is still a long way from the win but those three are shining stars in my books! I loved seeing Nico guest judge, he is my most favourite dancer!

SYTYCD USA
Getting close now and the all-stars are apparently changing each week. That works for me because there are some all-stars who didn't dance last week that I hope to see again before the season ends. I am still rooting for Mel and Jess, though I think it owuld be a long shot for Jess to win it all unfortunately. Broadway folk generally don't. We will see, still a ton of talent on that stage every week! I am hoping for some Nappytabs choreo soon, I miss them when they are gone too long.

Love in the Wild
Well things are still going the same, challenges, drama, very little connection or love forming, but time will tell. I think this is just one of those things that sounds good but doesn't work so well. Jason and Jessica went home most recently, Jason couldn't connect with ANYONE and Jessica almost had a chance with Steele but he couldn't risk sending Erica home and so off Jasonand Jessica went. Jessica drove me kind of nuts anyways. Ben and Brandee looked to be having trouble in paradise but stuck it out. No one else can connect with Ben anyways, I am still shocked Brandee can! Everyone else stayed together - wah wah wah...

Challenge: Rivals
Well Mandi won a challenge, which was shocking. I love her but she just isn't really much of a winner. I have a feeling she gets cast for "other" reasons ha ha. In the white water rafting challenge it was Sarah and Katelyn who were in the bottom due to a DQ when Sarah toppled out of the raft and Katelyn stuck around to make sure she didn't drown - how dare she? Of course the rest nominated newbies Jonna and Jasmine since they didn't vote with the house last week. Jasmine and Katelyn left with host DJ earlier in the day and at challenge there were two giant stacks of hay, in them were buried boxes containing their partners - the trick, you didn't know which stack/box had which person. Of course Sarah got to a box first, it was Jasmine so she went to the other, which actually didn't even give the newbies J&J a lead on the puzzle. They had to move pieces from pole to pole, yada yada and first to finish would win. Sarah and Katelyn, the self-proclaimed "puzzle masters" ended up going home... on a puzzle challenge. Newbies Jonna and Jasmine remain in the house! And after a week of Jonna's b.s. I am certain everyone is so thrilled *eye roll*

Expedition Impossible
I am so behind on this show - - - Nothing to say on it right now

Big Brother
Well things are looking interesting. I am on live feeds a lot, finally some drama in the house woot woot.

I have posted several spoiler posts if you wish to see them here

What I want to discuss is the golden key. I mean, the blessing and curse is obviously you are safe for 4 weeks but can't compete. But I predict something more... I WISH it was that golden key holders had a chance to open a pandora's box - - prize or punishment, you never know! Prizes could be money, trips, items to help in the game, luxury items... punishments could be slop, have not, returning houseguest

I have heard the evicted HGs have been sequestered, and since Dick left, it gives them an extra week to play with so a returning houseguest seems ENTIRELY possible!

I am still rooting for Jeff and Jordan.

anyways, that is all for now... did I miss anything? Feel free to comment on your ideas, thoughts, opinions...

Reality TV Updates - July 18, 2011

I am on reality tv overload and I love it.

Here are some thoughts from me on my current reality tv addictions.

Bachelorette

If you read my blog often you will know I am no fan of Ashely. I am, however, a fan of JP and for that reason, I hope they do not end up together. I am so evil right? Actually, it is rumoured he wins as they were allegedly spotted together, but who knows. He is 34 and she is 26, not that age matters but he had his heart broken by a young thang before and I just want to see more JP.... sand Ashley. To be honest, she prefers the young, quieter, long haired type anyways. I really was wondering why and how Constantine was still around, but after the home town dates tonight, I am glad he is. I also really started to love Ames tonight, I hope he is the other bachelor from this season to go onto Bachelor Pad, though it really doesn't seem like his scene... we will see. Ben, who I usually like was a bit of a bore for me tonight *yawn* I still think she picks JP but I am rooting for Ben, he reminds me of Trista's Ryan, the quieter, more romantic type. Ashley reminds me a lot of Trista too, except I loved Trista.

Masterchef

Christian's cockiness drives me nuts and I was glad his temper had him failing tonight. I actually really respected blondie for cooking with truffles instead of drinking champagne watching. Even though it was a risk, I think she did the right thing. I love watching this show, but the double whammy of it and Hell's Kitchen Tonight was a bit much. Not too much Gordon Ramsey (never) but I still have stitches in my mouth from wisdom teeth surgery and seeing all that good food when I am eating the equivilent on Big Brother "slop" just is not fair! Eeryn or whatever his name was went home tonight after an abyssmal attempt at cooking. He had a "bad day" and knew he was going home.

Hell's Kitchen

Welcome Back Chef Scott - If you read my blog when Hell's Kitchen was last on you will know I have a crush on Chef Scott. I have actually suggested to one of my besties that we go down and stalk him (yes, he appreciates the sexiness that is Chef Scott also) I think Elise will be ghetto-drama like Sabrina was last season. I already love some of the conflict. Jonathon is an early fave, but I have a thang for Southern boys LOL Brendon is cocky but it will be entertaining to watch him and Paul. The flirty girl and Elise will be itneresting. Krupa pulled out some good cooking, it was unexpected after her "signature dish" ha ha - signature dishes are always fun to watch... This year's winner will get a quarter of a million dollar salary and run BLT Steak in New York City... sweet! Also awesome this opener we got to see Nona - she looked great! Read more on HEll's Kitchen Opener here

SYTYCD Canada

TOnight was the Top 20 performance show. I really enjoyed most of the routines, though some fell flat. I am still rooting for Jordan Clark, she was a fave during auditions and is still holding true. Tonight she did a Jazz routine by Sean Cheesman that was absolutely stunning. Her and JOey were in synch and so perfect! I am still annoyed by Jean-Marc as a jduge and hate Leah Miller, some thing never change. I am loving the diverse choreographers, Danny Arbour even returned to choreo tonight! Read full details from tonight's performance show here.

SYTYCD USA

We get the all-stars starting this week. We are down to Top 10 and so instead of pairing together they pair with past all stars. I am excited about some of the returning dancers. See who is returning here. My faves currently are Melanie for females and Jess for males. But I loved Ryan and now she is gone - sad! I am overwhelmed by SYTYCD Canada and USA airing at the same time, it drives me nuts! But it drives my husband even MORE nuts - trust!

Love in the Wild

This is one of those reality shows you wonder why you started watching... like "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" remember? *sigh* I was glad to see Kym and Adam go home. He liked her, she ditched him for Steele, who ditched her. There are too many contestents from Scottsdale Az. ha ha Adam was cute but thug. Kym was stuck-up. I think the only couple that MAYBE stands a chance on this show is Heather & Miles... I think that's the pair it's all a blur!

Rivals

I loved Real World and Road Rules when I lived in Michigan in my early 20s, but never saw it here because we never had MTV in Canada. Now we do, ecause I am addicted to reality tv and pay extra for every channel that is available to me (trust, there are still some I can't get and it angers me beyond belief) annnnyways - I love this show because it has all the past guests teamed up with their enemies in challenges - epic! I love that Wes and Kenny are forced to be together and Wes is clearly pulling the two of them. I also lvoe their angst towards CT and hate that Mandi is into him. I like Evelyn she is one tough girl! I mainly watch for the plotting and cat fights to be honest...

Expedition Impossible

I am two episodes behind on my PVR - oops!

Big Brother

Save the best for last.

I have live feeds this summer so I pretty much never sleep or accomplish anything in my life. I am disappointed with the game play. Originally I was rooting for vets over newbies but liked Dom and Cassi as far as Newbs went. Now, I am appreciating Shelley's game play, and sad with which newbie is probably going home this week (I won't say because they haven't aired the nominations yet and I already know nominations, veto comp results and if it is used) if you care to know my opinion on everything Big Brother (live feed spoilers included) just scroll up or down my blog a few posts as I do tend to post regularily on the BB happenings. I also tweet #bb13 a lot!

COMING SOON

Bachelor Pad - August 8 starts! I can't wait!

Project Runway Season 9 - If I can get a channel that shows it here!

Canada's Got Talent - I don't watch USA one so unsure I will bother with this one.

Jersey Shore - Italy season should air soon and they are already filming the following season at seaside!

Anyways - that is it for now - add your comments below as I love to hear what other reality tv junkies think about the shows I also love :)

Reality TV Updates - July 7, 2011

Big Brother

Started tonight, epic! This will be a great season. See my Premiere play-by-play here

Master Chef

I am loving the attitudes emerging. I am not a fan of Suzy, she is way too cocky. Still miss Max. I am hoping for some more interesting challenges soon. We will see.

SYTYCD

Was shocked to see Ryan and Ricky in the bottom 3 couples, but was not shocked to see Ashley and Chris go home. My personal favourites are Ryan, Jess, Tadd, Melanie. It is still early, we shall see.

SYTYCD Canada

We got our Top 20 reveal this week. See results here. I am pretty excited about a few of these dancers, and a few I am indifferent about. We will see once they start performing. Learn more about each dancer here.

Hells Kitchen

Returns this month, I am so excited, I can't seem to get enough of Chef Ramsey, and he is really too nice on Masterchef.

Love in the Wild

I really love this show. I know it is silly, but it's fun. I was glad with who went home... no I can't think of their names, but surfer dude and plastic surgery stalker. I was sad to see some couples split but think that it will make the show more interesting since connections are being made and jealousy is going to kick in!

Bachelorette

I saw tabloids while in Seattle for the 4th of July... Emily Maynard is split from Brad Womack, big surprise, and she is likely the next Bachelorette... man oh man, they should bring Bentley on HA HA! Also read that Ashley was spotted with JP - not sure if this means he was chosen or not, I hope not, I like him too much to see him with HER! Also read that Ashley is heart broken when the final man ends up having a girlfriend back home? Just tabloid reads, who knows how true they are.

This Monday, after a week off for 4th of July, we will see another episode of the Bachelorette as well as an interview Chris Harrison does with Emily regarding her break up with Brad. Maybe we will get an announcement that she will be the next Bachelorette - seems odd to do two in a row, usually there are more Bachelor's - we shall see.

Bachelor Pad

Season 2 casting has started up but not without controversy... Craig Robinson was sexually harassed by a female producer and will no longer be on the show.

We also discovered who was cast for season 2, but with 3 missing names, since they were still on this season. We now know two of those men are William Holman and Blake Julian. I had hoped for those two along with JP - but as it stands he may have "won" Ashley - booo!

The Voice

Well, I predicted Javier would win and he did. I really loved Beverly, Bicci and Xenia though.... season 2 is already in the works, though the rumour mill was high about which judges will return. Christina Agulieria, no surprise, was the diva most uncertain to return... but apparently all 4 have resigned yay! I do enjoy the show. They are going on a mini tour this summer.

Jersey Shore

August 4th the 4th season (Italy) will premiere, but in the meantime, the 5th season is being filmed at seaside. The latest is that Vinny was home sick and left the show for good. Who knows! This show is a guilty pleasure. I mean Big Brother is my obsession but this show - I hate it but I can't not watch it - - grrrr.... I just hate how these people can be rich and famous - - - for being idiots!

Undercover Boss

I watched this a lot to start, then stopped. I watched the Johnny ROckets one last week or the week before and really loved it. I think I am more interested in the ones where I know the company, or it is an interesting aspect of the job to watch.

Expedition Impossible

I had planned to not watch this but I did, and it was ok. Very much like Amazing Race, which is fine, but I stopped watching that a couple season ago after years of devotion. Now, it is more a background show as I blog or fold laundry. Sad eh? Maybe I am just jealous I can't travel to these places... or perhaps I just can't connect with the contestents anymore... it always seems the same "type-cast" though that could be said of any show I suppose. I was glad the Latin Persuasion went home, they were annoying and dumb. The Mom's weren't a big surprise to leave either.

Any Shows I am Missing?

Agree? Disagree with me? Please comment below!

Reality TV Updates - June 2011

It's been a while, but there is a lot going on in reality tv world...

Bachelorette - Well the whole Bentley thing is just stupid. What is it with girls and going after bad boys. I swear I want to grab and SHAKE some of these Bachelorettes. It is even worse when they are past "contestents" and KNOW how the "game" works... Michelle told Ashley Bentley was there for his career... granted he didn't seem to push his career, but he did play his son like a card, publicly say he wished she was Emily and basically be a complete douche... yet stupid girl kept obsessing *sigh* played like a fiddle.

Tonight they boys fought each other in Thailand - Muay Thai though none are trained.... WTF? It was NO shock when Ames was sent to the hospital. What are the producers thinking?! Then poor old Ashley is all, "I care for them, I don't want to see them hurt" really? Did NOBODY think this was a bad idea? a dangerous idea? a potentially harmful idea?

I know three boys will be on Bachelor Pad - I would love to see more JP, William and Blake (if they don't make it to the end ... See my post here)

Big Brother - Starts Thursday July 7. I can't wait. No casting news or twist sharing yet... I can't wait - I really am considering getting live feed since it is on sale - then again, I rarely get time to sit online and watch and may not have time... BUT - it's cheap and I have a fairly lazy few weeks after I get my wisdom teeth out mid-july, so perhaps...

Master Chef - I really love this show. I think it's great to see home cooks from all walks of life come to the show and go through the challenges. I already have some faves. I am excited to see tonight's episode.

SYTYCD - Early faves include Ryan, Jess, and also Tadd, Missy, Melaniel Robert... gah - - - It's too early to tell how they will fair in all the types... but there are some great characters. Of course for the first round, no one was eliminated, which means four will be this week - stress!

In funny, somewhat related news, @dizzyfeet accidently tweeted his phone # thinking he was sending a DM to a friends... oops! Well, I called and got his humourous voicemail basically saying he would not be answering the phone anymore ha ha - changing his number - clearly!

SYTYCD Canada - Premiered tonight. I always love the flavour Canada's show brings. Though I hate when it airs at the same time as the USA one - it's just SO MUCH tv time - - Thank god for PVR!

The Voice - Best new show, I have to say. I am Team Adam.... He has a great team. I really love the banter between the coaches and the social media component... it's awesome to have the tweets going throughout the show.

America's Got Talent
- I have to admit this and Biggest Loser are probably the only two reality shows I do not watch religiously... In fact, I maybe catch one or two a season and do not follow.

Bachelor Pad - I am so psyched this is returning. I really really loved the show last summer... take all the bachelor(ette) rejects and throw them in a house for money and "love" (ahem - sex) See who is cast here.

Expedition Impossible - Premieres after Wipeout on Thursday... I may or may not watch this. I feel a bit full as far as tv goes and I stopped watching Amazing Race a few seasons ago - so I feel like this will be very similar... we`ll see.

Love in the Wild - this I plan to watch. I don`t know why, I just like watching people fall in and out of love in wacky situations ha ha

Am I missing anything?

More Bachelor Pad News

In addition, former fourteenth-season The Bachelor couple Vienna Girardi and Jake Pavelka are also competing to win the $250,000 grand prize on the second season of The Bachelor franchise's Big Brother-like spinoff, which began taping on June 7.

Reports of the participation of Girardi, Pavelka, Kahl, Rego, Rose, and Money had previously surfaced last week.

Pavelka presented his final rose and a marriage proposal to Girardi -- and she accepted -- during The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love's finale, which aired in March 2010 and was filmed the prior fall.

However the couple split three months later and engaged in a mud-slinging "he said, she said" battle in the press afterwards, leading to a heavily-promoted joint interview with host Chris Harrison which aired during Ali Fedotowsky's season of The Bachelorette last summer.

Girardi is currently dating Kahl, who is best remembered for a sincere pledge to "guard and protect" Fedotowsky's heart during the sixth season of The Bachelorette.

Harrison will also return and reclaim his position as host of Bachelor Pad's second season.

Below are the full details on Bachelor Pad's second-season contestants, including ABC's description of what each is memorable for.

- Alli Travis, a 25-year-old buyer from Columbus, OH who previously competed on The Bachelor's fifteenth season

After telling Womack she had trouble picturing herself marrying her previous boyfriend, The Bachelor star reflected on his relationship with Travis and told her he felt the same way about her. Shortly thereafter, she was dismissed.

- Ella Nolan, a 31-year-old hairstylist from Nashville, TN who previously competed on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love

Single mom Nolan is still quite upset with Pavelka for sending her home during a two-on-one date. Engaged to be wed, she will come to the pad having called off her wedding.

- Erica Rose, a 28-year-old student from Houston, TX who previously competed on The Bachelor: Rome

Rose's outspokenness proved to be a turn-off for Lorenzo Borghese, but whether she's in it for love or money, Rose will do anything. She'll have her friends Girardi and Kahl by her side, and she may just get what she wants.

- Gia Allemand, a 26-year-old model from New York, NY who previously competed on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love

After falling for fifth-season The Bachelorette bachelor Wes Hayden on the first season of Bachelor Pad, Allemand will return to the pad to face Girardi, who is rumored to have come between her and Wes. She'll be thankful to have an ally in Pavelka whom she's formed a friendship with.

- Graham Bunn, a 32-year-old entrepreneur from New York, NY who previously competed on The Bachelorette's fourth season

Bunn is known as the hot heartbreaker from DeAnna Pappas' season who didn't reciprocate her feelings for him.

- Holly Durst, a 28-year-old children's book author from Hollywood, CA who previously competed on The Bachelor: London Calling

Durst was engaged to fellow Bachelor Pad Season 2 contestant, Stagliano, until she broke off the engagement only to realize she'd made a mistake. Just days after the break-up, she ran back to Stagliano, but it was too late and he felt he could no longer trust her. Durst will be ready to find a rebound in the pad.

- Jackie Gordon, a 27-year-old assistant teacher from New York, NY who previously competed on The Bachelor's fifteenth season

Gordon is the girl next door who's not afraid to speak her mind. She's ready for love and will get along well with the guys but will watch her back when it comes to Michelle Money, whom she doesn't trust.

- Jake Pavelka, a 33-year-old pilot from Los Angeles, CA who previously starred on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love

Pavelka will return to the site of his infamous post-breakup face-off with Girardi and will see her for the first time since their heated exchange. However, Girardi's new man, Kahl, will be by her side.

- Justin Rego, a 27-year-old salesman from Toronto, Canada who previously competed on The Bachelorette's sixth season

Justin walked off Fedotowsky's season when she confronted him about the voice messages he'd left for his girlfriend back home.

- Kasey Kahl, a 27-year-old entrepreneur and philanthropist from Clovis, CA who previously competed on The Bachelorette's sixth season

Kahl is known for getting a tattoo on his wrist to signify to Fedotowsky how he will "guard and protect" her heart. These days, his affection belongs to fellow contestant and girlfriend, Girardi. There may be eight other guys he'll have to contend with, but only one guy he must beat -- Pavelka.

- Kirk DeWindt, a 27-year-old personal trainer from Minneapolis, MN who previously competed on The Bachelorette's sixth season

Dewindt's dad, a taxidermist, gave Fedotowsky a tour of his basement to show off his work. Shortly thereafter, he was dismissed. Dewindt will join the pad with friend and ally Kahl.

- Melissa Schreiber, a 32-year-old waitress from Boca Raton, FL who previously competed on The Bachelor's fifteenth season

Referred to as "the cougar" by her fellow castmates from Womack's season, Schreiber is also known for her heated argument with fellow former fifteenth-season The Bachelor bachelorette Raichel Goodyear.

- Michelle Money, a 30-year-old hairstylist from Salt Lake City, UT who previously competed on The Bachelor's fifteenth season

Money may be known as the manipulative seductress from Brad Womack's season, but the men won't mind sharing the pad with her.

- Michael Stagliano, a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Sherman Oaks, CA who previously competed on The Bachelorette's fifth season

The impact from his break-up with ex-fiancee and fellow Bachelor Pad contestant, Durst, is still fresh. Stagliano must not only contend with 17 other contestants, but he also will face the prospects of Durst dating other guys.

- Vienna Girardi, an unemployed 25-year-old from Los Angeles, CA who previously competed on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love

Now dating Kahl, Girardi has since moved on from her messy break-up with Pavelka and their infamous post-breakup TV face-off. Not only will she have to face Pavelka again in the pad, but she must also confront Allemand about their recent history.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Who do you want to see from the current season? I would love to see more William, JP, and / or Blake. They are my favourites and I want to see more of them... and I don't want them with Ashley - I don't really like her that much ha - just like when Ali was on, I didn't want her with Chris becuase I thought he was too good for her... and now he is engaged to Peyton, who is awesome!

Bachelor Pad - Couples

Pretty silly that a balloon toss had some of the girls so emotional. Tonight's episode sent three women home after the men chose women to partner up with and so we said good bye to three ladies and moved into a couple's game versus men vs women.

Peyton and Jesse B
Elizabeth and Kovaks
Tenley and Kiptyn
David and Natalie

Strategy and love and drama.. gotta love it

I really hoped Peyton and Jesse B woudl stay but darnit Kiptyn is too loyal... ah well I like Kiptyn he is the nicest of the guys but Tenley annoys me and Elizabeth is nuts so I guess Natalie is who I like out of girls...

WHo knows what will happen next.

Reality TV Update - August 30, 2010

I have missed a few updates, but I will try to catch up.

Bachelor Pad

I missed tonight's episode *gasp* But I did see Wes and Krissily go home. That is all I know. Krissily's last words were to break up Kovaks, Elizabeth, Kiptyn and Tenley - well duh! I want to know what I missed so feel free to comment with updates or details.

I did a full post on last week's episode.

SYTYCD Canada

I am loving some of this season's contestents and I do blog after every episode with Power Rankings and then Results. I also blog throughout the week at Pure SYTYCD.

Last Week Shelaina went home due to injury and Hanni for some stupid reason. This week two more will go home tomorrow night.

Here are my power rankings from tonight's show.

Master Chef

I am loving this show. I liked this week's trucker challenge and was shocked when red pulled in the win after such a rough start, I mean seriously? Blue Cheese? Whitney and Jake are my two top favourites.

Big Brother

Well I have spoilers so I will shuddup but this week is going to be VERY INTERESTING! I will leave it at that but if you want spoilers read HERE and HERE

Everyone I was rooting for is gone so now I don't care... I like Lane but he has money, Britney has girl power but she has annoyed me since day one, I love gay men but Ragan seems close to going home, I hate Enzo, so that leaves Hayden... or Lane.. or Brittney.. I dunno - I will wait til last two and then decide.

Dating in the Dark

This show is so bad it's good. I love that I can pick it up or drop it any time because each week si new people. It's a nice background show to accompany my blogging. They always have at least one total loser.

Jersey Shore

OMG The Situation is friggin too much - his "master plan" to put the hippo to bed and have two girls on one side of the house and two on the other - - AND IT WORKED!?!?!? Too much! I can't wait to see this week's the preview shows Sammie and JWOW having it out - I assume it comes out that she wrote the letter to Sammi about Ronnie's creepin' ha ha ha this show is so bad I can't help myself... though I do wanna shoot myself when I hear shit like The Situation will make $5mil this year - WTF? Yet, here I am supporting it by watching and talking about it BAD MANDY!

Real World New Orleans

I haven't watched this yet but my PVR needs me too fast...

Am I missing anything?

Oh, here are two reality tv stories that caught my eye today...

Snooki's boyfriend of one month proposes via tabloid magazine.

American Idol still without panel of judges.

Bachelor Pad - Summary & Opinions

I blogged as I watched so this is a long post with immediate reactions to what was going on....

Elizabeth kissing all the guys and getting chills from #4 which is her "man"

Peyton had

Gwen

Ashley is a highschool teacher not wanting to lose the respect of her students so she doesn't kiss the boys.

Natalie is a kissing whore anyways so no big deal. She was loving aggressive #2

Nikki loved #1 and #2

Tenley was giggling mostly, she so immature. SHe misses the first two kisses then loves #3 who just happens to be Kiptyn who she likes.

Gia has a boyfriend yet came on the show and chose "love" over "Strategy" last week in promising Craig the rose but giving it to the schmoozing Wes. Kissing contest is ok? *sigh* All the men were itching to kiss Gia. Despite their desire to devour her they are "respectful" in kissing her.... suuuure!

Boys went up and Jesse was first... RAWR! Gia's cry fest was unneccessary.... "i can't kiss them in a line boyfriend or not" boo hoo "I didn't think everyone was going to turn into porn stars here" *sob sob* "I should have never done it" shuddup!

I would not want to kiss the weatherman either... gross! I can't believe how many of them went for it - - - seriously? gah! I think I barfed in my mouth a little. Natalie and |Elizabeth went TO TOWN - i loved how the other girls were visably ill just watching ha ha ha ha!! I was also! gross!

David is not my type, but not as bad as weatherman, regardless, I couldn't do it... LoL at Peyton's "no one wants to be mauled" ha I think some of those men may like it.

Wes was last - and being a germaphob he felt sick... #1 sloppy (Tenley), #2 violent #7 nice (Peyton) Wes went by Peyton's philosophy of not liking to be mauled... "unless I am hammered" LoL

Natalie would make out with anyone in the house for $20 - of COURSE she would!

David would rather win a kissing contest than a pie eating contest - duh!

David won - I still don't want to kiss him.
Peyton won - Her "don't maul them" strategy worked

Of Course David's date is at a topless pool in Vegas - he chooses Natalie, Nikki, Krissily. I wasn't shocked David chose Natalie to stay - she is the "easiest" and of course they choose to "forgo" their separate rooms...

The threates and ploys were entertaining... it is funny how caught up these men and women get with each other... um, they all were rejected bachelors/ettes... they are love failures.... go for the money and hook up later DUH!

Wes acted crazy trying to keep Gia tonight....

the tie meant David got to decide and sent Gia home... along with the weatherman... the end

Wes will get revenge I am sure... this game is getting interesting!

First Reject from Bachelor Pad - Juan interview

People posted an interview with the first reject from Bachelor Pad, Juan. If you missed the show, I suggest checking itout, it's great drama and perfect escape from everyday reality ha ha... like most reality tv, it's so unreal!!!

-------------------------------------------------------

Juan Barbieri, known for breaking “man code” during Jillian’s Bachelorette season, moved into the Bachelor Pad for “fun and a one in 18 shot at $250,000.” Ironically, it was woman code (as in “You’re going to pay for hurting our friend”) that did him in the first week. He spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about what really happened with Nikki, whether Michelle and Craig hooked up, Natalie and Jesse’s romance and more.

More... What drew you to the spin-off?I certainly didn’t do it without hesitation. But at the end of the day, it was a neat opportunity to do challenges, make new friends and possibly meet a girl. The fun aspect is really high. The money is also quite a draw. Even though it is a long shot, it sure beats your chances if you’re sitting at home.

You said that if you had a choice between finding love or winning the money, you’d take the cash.
I was being playful. In reality, if I had found the love of my life, mother of my children, I would forgo the money. You can’t put a price tag on that. But I knew I had a better chance of winning the money than finding the one out of 11 girls.

The reason you were eliminated is because of your history with Nikki. Viewers only got part of the story and it made you seem like a jerk. What’s your side?
Nikki tends to embellish and exaggerate and she uses the terms relationship and dating differently than I do … We had been corresponding online and she seemed like a sweet girl. She invited me to Chicago. I had never been and was eager to visit. We had a wonderful weekend together. She was a wonderful host. Everything went as normally and naturally as you can imagine and then I came back to LA, my life and other people I was dating. We kept in touch but at no time did we ever talk about pursuing it. I took it for what it was and she obviously took it for something more. The next time I saw her was six weeks later on the reunion cruise. Before we boarded, I said I wasn’t interested in continuing our relationship and that it would be best to be friends. She didn’t take that very well and that’s where the animosity started.

Women stick together. Obviously, that played a part in your elimination. Do you think you will have some explaining to do on the real dating scene?
When it comes to my real dating life, it has no impact. Anyone who takes two minutes to hear the story gets a clear picture on the situation. Now, do people online choose team Juan or team Nikki and like to talk trash? Of course. I learned long ago to tune it out.

Who would you like to win?
I guess I’d give it to Kiptyn. I hate to say it because he has so much going for him and he doesn’t need it, but he’d do good things with it. I’m not sure he has it in him to do the sneaky things necessary to win.

Were you surprised at how quickly Natalie and Jesse hooked up?
Yeah. They had an instant connection. They are each other’s type in every way. I don’t know if it will last. They live in different states so that makes things difficult.

Did Michelle and Craig hook up on the first night?
That never happened. Tenley was dreaming or it was Natalie and Jesse who had already been making out and slept next to her. Craig and Michelle were on the other side of the room and I know for a fact they didn’t do anything inappropriate. If it was Tenley’s strategy to start a rumor about someone already on thin ice to rally the troop against her, it was well-played.

As you all slept in one room, which woman looked best waking up?
Gia always looked great. Some girls walked in to the house all dolled up and Gia came in with no makeup, hair down and a T-shirt and could not have looked more beautiful.

Want to take a guess at Gwen’s mystery age?
No idea and no comment.

Reality TV Updates - August 10, 2010

It's that time of year for season finales...

Hell's Kitchen

Tonight's finale was awesome! I was hoping Holliw ould win but predicted Jaywould. What a great surprise to see Holli walk through the winners door! She truly did grow the most and I think she will be very successful and give her son a good life overseas!

Master Chef

New fave show. Though tonight's episode made me want to barf... I can NOT handle eggs... ew! I eat them OCCASSIONALLY in small portions, cooked a particular way... but anything runny, gooey, eggy = pukey!

SYTYCD

Season finales this week. Robert will place 3rd I believe and Lauren and Kent will be a close one... I think little girls are in love with Kent and will vote more so I predict Kent wins and Laurens 2nd place, but either way they all did fabulous. I am more looking forward to the dances and season favourites...

SYTYCD Canada

Starts Sunday. I am back to guest blog on Pure SYTYCD Canada. Excited to see what this season brings.

Bachelor Pad

I am really excited about this. I posted details here. Hacing watched most seasons of both the Bachelor and the Bachelorette, this is exciting.

Last Comic Standing

The finale was this week and I was so happy Filipe won. I loved his big, burly stature and delivery of jokes. I was really glad the older jerk guy didn't make it in top 3... he annoyed me! I guess everyone has different senses of humour but sheesh! Anyhow, Loved Filipe and was rooting for him! Glad he won! On a different note, the judges performed and not well... wtf?

Next Food Star

I started watching late and so I am PVRing new and old episodes making it difficult to follow. I just enjoy the challeneges in these cooking shows because I am a horrible cook myself ha ha.

Big Brother

My most fave summer reality show escape. I am not happy with spoilers for this week. I don't know who goes home obvious as it will be live Thursday... but either way I am not happy.

Jersey Shore

Yes it's back, and apparently preparing to tape season 3 as season 2 airs - with yet ANOTHER pay raise... but it's my guilty pleasure... Snooki is a train wreck you can't help but stare and with Angeline back and the break up between Ronnie and Sammi, it is just too much - - - oh and aul D being himself and Situation - dood he is like the Jersey Grampa - he is way too old to behave how he does! I really love Vinnie - though the previews impy he may sleep with Snooki which is kinda gross... ha ha we shall see! How can you NOT be hooked on this horrible waste of time?

Dating in the Dark

I watched a few episodes in the first season and I really liked it. The first episode of season 2 is on my PVR and I will get to it.. since eachepisode is a new set ofpeople it's not a big deal if you miss a show or watch a few days later... but it's interesting to see how these people act and their opinions on people they can't see - then how/if it changes once they see what they look like... cracks me up how shallow some people are!

Am I missing anything?

am such a reality tv addict I know....

Bachelor Pad

Bachelor Pad is as much drama and excitement as I anticipated... Loved the first episode... The premise is this:

past contestants from Bachelor and Bachelorette live in a house and compete for money. Weekly conpetitions give them a ROSE which keeps them safe from eviction and allows them to invite some houseguests on a date and choose one to keep safe that week also. Then the ladies vote out the men and the men vote out the women. First episode had Craig M at risk but he won and kept Jessi safe. There are more chicks then dudes, for now...

Chris Harrison hosts...

I love it!

Here are the houseguests:

-Tenley (Jake's Season)

I wasn't really a fan of her on Jake's season, I feel like she was too fake and played off her "innocence" - annoying! But, I feel like this show may expose a different side of her and I can't wait... she's a good girl, I'd like to see her happy.

-Jesse (Ali's Season)

OMG! I am SO glad he on... he is amazingly hot and wanted him to stay on Bachelorette just so I could see him more, but wanted him to leave because I didn't want him with Ali and also because I thought he was more the boy toy type.... mmmm... I just like to stare at him... in slow motion... rawr!

-Natalie (Jason's Season)

I didn't watch Jason's season, only the "After the Rose" when he changed his mind ha ha.

-David (Jillian's Season)

OMG I hated David, his eyes creep me out, but he seems cool so far.

-Gwen (Aaron's Season)

I love Gwen, she is totally old, as indicated by her ?? age shown on the show... but she still has a smoking bod and I like to see some old school represent!

-Jessi (Jake's Season)

Her wandering/lazy eye is annoying to get past, but she is super sweet, Canadian and let Ali know what was up when "Rated R" was three timing his gf.

-Weatherman (Ali's Season)

Whiney and annoying...

-Nikki (Jason's Season)

Again, didn't watch Jason's season... but she is drama.

-Juan (Jillian's Season)

Juan was like the weatherman, whiney, annoying!

-Wes (Jillian's Season)

#1 villian - please... Rated-R tried to one up you ha ha... Whatever, Wes is entertaining.

-Krisily (Charlie's Season)

I don't remember her well, though I did watch Charlie's season, not religiously. She is annoying so far.

-Elizabeth (Jake's Season)

Elizabeth is CRAZY - like Michelle crazy... her "no kissing" games with Jake were annoying and then on Bachelor pad she is all obsessed with oor Jesse K and being psycho!? send her home!

-Jesse K (Jillian's Season)

He's a total sweetie and I am disappointed he got involved with crazy Elizabeth... sure she is hot but also nuts... hope she doesn't ruin his game.

-Kiptyn (Jillian's Season)

I LOVE KIPTYN!! Seriously, he is all kinds of amazing and I hope to see him happy, whatta catch!

-Ashley (Jake's Season)

She annoyed me on Jake's season with her pilot outfit and squeaky voice... she isn't as bad (yet) but something about her just rubs me the wrong way - thoug those are the people they want on the show ha ha.

-Peyton (Andy's Season)

Did I watch Andy's season? I so don't remember - it's all a blur!

-Michelle (Jake's Season)

Crazytown - still!

-Gia (Jake's Season)

Has a bf, is #1 hottie in all the boys books, I agree she is hot but I think others are hotter... *shrugs* she is a sweetheart and I look forward to seeing if she stays loyal to her bf (I am guessing not!)

-Craig M (Ali's Season)

OMG I HATE CRAIG!!! But he is so entertaining and it makes me laugh my ass off!
