Interview Magazine - Valentine's Day Hotties

Interview Magazine picked their Valentine's Day Hotties and Alex Meraz was on the list.

NAME: Alex Meraz

BIRTHDAY: January 10, 1985

WHY WE LOVE HIM: He's multi-faceted. In addition to playing volatile werewolf Paul in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Meraz is also an avid painter and contemporary dancer.

UPCOMING PROJECTS: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Savage Innocent, a new project from Kids director Larry Clark.

ROMANTIC TIES: Sorry Twilighters. He's taken by wife Kim, with whom he has a son named Somak.

WHAT'S HIS SIGN? As a Capricorn, Meraz is likely reserved, respectful of traditions, and steadily devoted to family members, so it's no wonder he's already married.

Friday February 11, 2010

I am writing this at 9pm Thursday and setting it on schedule to post Friday morning ni the wee hours.

I am heading out in a moment to meet a group of lovely girlfriends for an adventurous evening.

We are going to stock up on treats and caffine (ok and some Bailey's as well) and go up to Grouse Mountain to (hopefully) get into the Today Show's live taping at 4am.

MATT LAUER, MEREDITH VIEIRA, ANN CURRY & AL ROKER will be on hand and the line-up for the day's show is as follows:

February 12, 2010 NBC Today's guests are:
•Jeret “Speedy” Peterson - is a World Cup aerial skier from Boise, Idaho, skiing out of Bogus Basin. Still the only skier in the World to perform the "Hurricane", the world can expect to see Speedy standing finish on the podium in Vancouver.

•Emily Cook - US Aerial Olympian Emily Cook overcame significant injuries to both her feet to win her first World Cup victory in an aerials event in Russia in 2008. Emily’s best finish at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships was fourth in the aerials at Inawashiro in 2009.

•Daniel Boulud - Acclaimed chef and restaurateur - "Today's" Sarah Haines will give Kathie Lee and Hoda the daily Olympic dish from Grouse Mountain for the fourth hour. The first segment will feature acclaimed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud showcasing dishes from two of his Vancouver restaurants, DB Bistro and Lumiere.

•Michael Bublé - Internationally renowned singer Michael Buble recently released his chart-topping song “Haven’t met you yet”, and the Canadian will mesmerize guests in the Peak Chalet performing his most popular music.

Of course, it is Michael Bublé who we are most excited to see.

Wish us luck on our overnight excursion for the 4am filming <3

More blogs, photos, reports on everything happening here after I get home Friday Morning and before I head to work Friday day ;)

So-Called "New" News on Breaking Dawn (same stuff, jsut re-worded it seems)

Last night I went to the screening of Valentine's Day and have posted a SAFE / SPOILER FREE Review here

Breaking Dawn as 2 Movies - No so Breaking News

There really seems to be no NEW NEWS.... instead, some sites trying to benefot from Twi-Fan Traffic by posting old stuff, re-worded, to seem new.

For example, Gossip Cop says:

“Breaking Dawn” is going to be adapted into two movies.

The official word given to Gossip Cop from a rep for Summit is, “No decision has been made and as we have said all along we are continuing to work with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen.”

HOWEVER, a well-placed source tells Gossip Cop dividing Breaking Dawn into two pictures “is the direction that it’s going in.” We’re told that from a practical standpoint, separating the story into two parts and shooting back-to-back is what makes most sense.

Earlier reports seem to be fairly accurate when it comes to timing, specifically, that filming may begin in October.

Gossip Cop will keep you posted when plans are officially finalized.

While Deadline states:

I have this from several sources, and it's definitive. Filming on the back-to-back movies would begin in mid-October, and Summit Entertainment is looking at "high-end" directors.

Mandy's Mind - None of this seems new to me.... it simply is still gossip / rumour that 2 movies will be made, which is kind of what we have all suspected based on "several sources" over the past several months.

Basically, these sites, and others, are saying what we already know, with titles that seem like it's new and official.

Will there be 2 movies? Proabably, but that's what we have all thought for weeks now, even months.

Has there been any new development in this story?

No.

Re-read these pieces from these sites... Summit rep gives no official word. No given source. No official word. It's all the same gossip, being brought up again as more legit....

*sigh*

Check tweets from people like @larry411 who explain the situation well.

Anyways - for all of those asking - - - Yes I think it is 2 movies, no I don't think these new "Breaking Stories" are the result of any new news, simply something to get the twi-fans in a tizzy and draw attention and traffic back to their sites during a slow time because of Remember Me News, New Moon dvd News and Olympic News - - leaving them with the need to re-hash old stuff with a twist.

Sorry.

NEW PHOTOS - Robert Pattinson on set of Bel Ami

So it seems the rumours of his shaggy beard being for his role in Bel Ami weren't true.... as these early days of filming he sports no beard... which I quite prefer... ha ha
