She was definately harder hitting than him. They were alien robots and they moved very quickly. It was entertaining and fun and should keep them safe, I hope.

"Wake Up Alone" - Amy Winehouse
This was a moving piece, not only because of the artist, Amy Winehouse's recent death, but also because of the choreography. It is no secret how much I adore Jordan, and I am also a huge fan of Nico and Wynn. This piece was really amazing and the way the two moved together was really effortless. Judge Dan Karaty commented on how in past seasons it was aspiring dancers, but how we are spoiled this season with such talented, established dancers. This was one of my favourites of the night.

Quick Step - Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin
"Can't Touch It" - Ricky-Lee
They had good speed, it was good choreography, but overall just an average performance for me. I expected more from Yulia since it was her genre. Great effort, but just sort of fell short unfortunately.

"La Bohemia" - Electro Dub
This has some really nice lifts and flips. It was extremely sexy. I really enjoyed it, and I generally don't care for the ballroom as much as Contemporary or hip hop.

"What I Need" - Crystal Waters
This was kind of a hot mess in my opinion. I tlooked chaotic, and not the "controlled chaos" that some routines require. JP looked very feminine in the white wavy pants, which took away form his foot work because they were flapping around his legs. It was a really good effort, you could see them really trying, but it fell short for me as it looked all over the place.

Contemporary - Sabrina Matthews
"Rolling Deep" - Adele
The story for this routine, as Sabrina Matthews always has a story, was a man who left his wife for another woman and is now trying to get her back. She is supposed to be angry and Shelaina played the part well. It was very angry and spastic, on the edge of losing control, but still in control (unlike the House piece with JP and Geisha) it was emotional, it told the story well and was really engaging to watch. Probably my favourite of the night, which is saying something because usally Jordan steals that spot!

Salsa - Gustavo Vargas
"Mirame" - Chivirico Davila
The judges really loved this piece, but I didn't see it. Of course I am not a salsa expert but to me they wereout of synch, lacked chemistry and their arms were tangled and not fluid. I love Joey and I know Jean-Marc loves Denitsa, so maybe the judges comments were to try and convince viewers they were good and to vote? Besides a nice ending lift I just found the routine to be pretty unimpressive.

Theatre - Sean Cheesman
"Kiss of the Spiderwoman" - Chita Rivera
I always love Sean Cheesman's choreography. He takes a very unique approach to the music and this routine was no different. I loved Carlena in this, she was fierce! Adam did well also, catching and throwing and supporting Carlena, but she was definately the star! There seemed to be a hiccup with a lift, but no one mentioned it so maybe I am wrong... they really beat up each other in this routine flying and jumping all over. It was supposed to be the battle between the King and Queen in chess - really awesome!!
SO based on that here are my POwer Rankings, feel free to argue. I am going against the judges on a few here so will be interesting if Canada votes with judges or how I think they might.

I know my Bottom 3 were not the judges Bottom 3, so I could be way off, but that is how I felt about the routines - so I am going with my gut. I think JP and Geisha will go home.... even though I thought LAST NIGHT Yulia and Matt were not as good.

There were rumours that Darren Criss would replace Daniel Radcliffe in How to Succeed in Business without really trying but not it has been confirmed! Daniel Radcliffe's last performance will be January 1, 2012, after which time, Darren Criss will take over for at least 3 weeks.
LA Times writes:
Darren Criss, who plays the character Blaine Anderson on Fox's "Glee," will make his Broadway debut in January after Daniel Radcliffe leaves the Broadway revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."
Organizers confirmed Monday the rumors that Criss will take the lead role of J. Pierrepont Finch in the musical, playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Radcliffe is scheduled to leave the show Jan. 1, and Criss will step in for three weeks from Jan. 3 to 22. It's unclear if the musical will continue beyond that date, though at least one report indicates that the producers want it to.

Summit Entertainment isn't kidding around in its anti-piracy efforts on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. The studio today took the unorthodox step of sending out a press release identifying the alleged culprit in a March hacking incident that ended with images of the highly-anticipated vampire romance film circulating on the Internet.
Summit's release ID's Daiana Santia of Argentina as having been involved in a group that stole photos, unfinished images and video of Breaking Dawn, which will be released in two parts beginning in November. Summit's four-continent crusade involved the services of investigation firm Kroll Inc. and law firm Keats McFarland & Wilson, which located Santia and others in the northern Argentina town of Posadas. Civil actions have been filed in the U.S. and Argentina, along with a criminal action in Santia's home country.
“While we very much appreciate the legions of committed fans of the franchise and encourage them to create community online, we cannot ignore that property was stolen,” says David Friedman, Summit's executive vp and general counsel. “It is not fair to the majority of fans that want to see the final chapter of the Twilight Saga film franchise fully realized by the filmmaker and dedicated cast and crew to have these images out and available on the Internet.”
Given that last year Summit Entertainment prosecuted the person who broke into their set photographer’s server and stole all the still images from Eclipse (six leaked online), fans shouldn’t find this latest action too surprising. In the Eclipse case Summit spent several months building a case and tracking the IP addresses attached to the leak. The trail eventually lead to Sweden where the person responsible was found and prosecuted with the full help of that country’s authorities.
Whereas a studio may occasionally turn a blind-eye to limited footage from an event like Comic Con or a pre-screening going online because that was finished product meant for public consumption, they will always go after material that is stolen from what amounts to online breaking and entering.
Other studios have taken similar measures and jail time has resulted from such cases such as the Hugh Jackman Wolverine movie.

Banks, 37, is petite and pretty, but she does, in fact, look a little freakish. Her brows have been bleached to invisibility so she can wear the mask of makeup required for what is sure to be the most watched and scrutinized role of her career—as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games, the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’s hugely popular dystopian trilogy. Trinket is the pink-haired “mentor” to teenage heroine Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as she’s forced to fight other kids to the death on TV. Banks, who got the role after hounding director Gary Ross, with whom she’d worked on Secretariat, had long been a fan of the books. “I definitely see parallels” to today’s world, she says. “The Hunger Games is a tried-and-true tale about a totalitarian society.”
It’s not America—yet—but she does worry. “We have a problem where the top 1 percent controls everything and then 99 percent of Americans don’t have a say in their daily life. That stuff really affects me because I grew up in a working-class family—I worked three jobs in college—and my parents and sisters all lost jobs recently.”
Her latest film, Our Idiot Brother, reminds her of her family, too. In it she plays a cutthroat journalist named Miranda who is trying to impress her bosses at Vanity Fair with a good story. The film was written by real-life Vanity Fair writer Evgenia Peretz and her husband, David Schisgall, and directed by her non-idiot brother, former Lemonheads bassist Jesse Peretz. The movie’s idiot brother is Ned, played by Paul Rudd, just out of jail for selling pot to a cop in uniform and reentering the lives of his three putatively more “together” sisters: ruthless Miranda; Emily Mortimer’s in-denial-about-her-unhappiness stay-at-home mom; and Zooey Deschanel’s restless Brooklyn lesbian, who’s having issues settling down with girlfriend Rashida Jones.
