It is always sad to lose someone, but G was a beloved fellow Twilight fan and recently attended the Vegas fan-fic meetup. Many knew her well, but even those who didn't are sad at the loss of a Twi-sister.
Statement from Lionsgate/Summit:
Lionsgate, Summit and the entire Twilight community are saddened by the death of a Comic-Con fan today due to a traffic accident during the hours leading up to this year’s convention in San Diego. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the victim’s family and friends. She will be respectfully remembered this Thursday in Hall H.
Many will be wearing black ribbons to remember `G` Additionally, tonight, once the sun goes down I will hand out glow sticks to light the line in honor of Gisela.
