Reality TV Update

I have been so busy I have not updated this lately, so here we go... Monday morning updates from last week in preparation for this week...

American Idol

Well, everyone was shocked when Pia was sent home last week. But fans should rest assured she will be just fine. According to sources Pia Toscano signed a record deal less than a day after she was ousted from the show, UsMagazine.com said. However, Others say AI may prevent her from actually signing. Time will tell. She is beautiful and talented, regardless we have not seen the last of her.

Moving forward I have been a fan of Lauren Alaina, since day one but also really love James Durbin.

Dancing with the Stars

Well I was not surprised last week to see Wendy Williams go home, but was worried for Chris Jericho, who was the other couple in danger of going home (though they say it is not neccessarily the second lowest vote reciever) I used to be a huge WWE Fan (don't judge me!) and want to see him stick around. Plus he is Canadian, so there is an added bias from me ha ha!

In other news, Kristie Alley got a tattoo to commemorate her experiences on DWTS. I predict she will not last too long, but who knows. I am really enjoying Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas as well as Romeo and Chelsie Hightower(who I have been a fan of since SYTYCD)

Speaking of...

SYTYCD

It returns soon. I can't wait. I love all the dancing shows, perhaps because I can not dance at all. I find myself brought to tears sometimes, or at least goosebumps, when I watch a moving routine.

I am excited for the new season because Mary Murphy returns, though she can be annoying, I enjoy her feedback to contestents far more than Mia Michaels, who I believe is better doing choreo than judging.

Nigel Lythgoe posted this photo on twitter:

He also tweeted:

Very tired tonight. It's been a good 3 days for #SYTYCD. We are now are left with 55 dancers.

ABDC

This show used to be great, then it got... meh! A new season started and I enjoyed the crews. I also like that the third judge is D-Trix who has done SYTYCD, ABDC and even appeard with a crew on DWTS. I really like him and think he will bring a good flavour to the show. They showed 5 crews of the 10 so I am excted to see who comes next episode.

Survivor

What an episode. I was so upset Matt didn't make a power move and get rid of Boston Rob's buddy. I had planned to stop watching after Russell went home as he is my favourite player, but Matt's Redemption Island performances kept me going. I was so glad he returned, but sending him RIGHT back? Man oh man, bad move! I know he has the potential to keep winning on redemption island and if so he should win the whole damn thing! I am rooting for him! So glad wimpy, whiny Sarita is gone.

Jersey Shore

So apparently there has been a pay increase for these tanned douches and now a delay in filming. Originally they struggled to get permission to film in Italy because - well - they are douches - but they somehow managed and now are struggling to find night clubs and location that will allow them in. This show is my guilty pleasure, it is so bad it's good, like a train wreck, I can't look away!

As if that isn't bad enough Spin-off's are in talks for some of the cast:

Snooki, 23, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, will co-star in a spin-off with her "Jersey Shore" partner-in-crime Jenni "Jwoww" Farley. Scheduled to premiere next year, the untitled show will depict the pair doing what they are famous for -- cruising around looking for fun and love in an undisclosed vacation spot.

Their tattooed "Jersey Shore" castmate, Paul Delvecchio, known to fans as "Pauly D" and famed for his slick hairstyle, will also get his own series. It follows him on the road in his quest to be a successful DJ, and will also debut next year.

Both series will "put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships," said MTV's head of production Chris Linn.

Watch Out - this sounds like Paris and Nicole Ritchie's reality show experiences.... ha ha!

America's Next Top Model.

I am behind on this show, because, really, it is the same every season, every week, and I have been too busy and bored with it to be excited... ANTM sent home Mikaela Schipani last week apparently.

Amazing Race

Another one I opted out of this season, but if you follow it, Ronald Hsu and Christina Hsu were eliminated.

Celebrity Apprentice

I haven't seen last night's show yet but I am loving this season, lot's of great tasks and confrontations. I always enjoy seeing crazy celebrities outbursts.

That's it for now.

What am I forgetting?
