January 23, 2014 — Santa Monica, CA — Interscope Records will partner with Summit Entertainment, a LIONSGATE® (NYSE: LGF) company, to release the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the futuristic action-adventure film Divergent on March 11, 2014. The soundtrack will feature a brand-new song by multi-platinum British singer/ songwriter Ellie Goulding, titled “Beating Heart” as well as songs from Goulding’s sophomore album, Halcyon. Goulding will also contribute vocals for the film’s score composed by Grammy® nominated and multi-platinum electronic artist Junkie XL and executive produced by Grammy® and Oscar®-winning composer Hans Zimmer (The Dark KnightInception).

The film, which is based on the bestselling novel Divergent by Veronica Roth and hailed as the most highly anticipated movie of 2014 by social media research firm Fizziology, will be released in theaters and on IMAX® screens nationwide on March 21st.

“We started working on the film with songs from Ellie Goulding's album Halcyon and soon found that the texture of her music and the tone of her voice matched perfectly with our film,” said director, Neil Burger. “In many ways Ellie has become the inner voice of our heroine Tris.”

In addition to “Beating Heart,” the soundtrack album will feature new music by multi-platinum, Grammy® nominated artist Zedd (the track “Find You,” featuring Matthew Koma and Miriam Bryant) and more artists to be announced soon.

North American fans can pre-order Divergent: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack exclusively at www.divergentsoundtrack.com starting Friday, January 24th. Divergent is the first installment in the Divergent Trilogy, which were the top three (3) best-selling books of 2013 according to USA Today. The story is set within a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities, and Tris Prior, played by Shailene Woodley, is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group.  When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late.

Divergent is directed by Neil Burger from a screenplay by Evan Daugherty and Vanessa Taylor, based on the novel by Veronica Roth.  The film stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ashley Judd, Jai Cortney, Ray Stevenson, Zoё Kravitz, Miles Teller, Tony Goldwyn, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, and Kate Winslet.

Sam Underwood joins The Following in creepy dual role...

Sam Underwood Picture

When I saw him on the return of The Following, I remembered those luring eyes, but couldn't remember where from... of COURSE - Dexter and Homeland - OF COURSE!! I am so much more excited for The Following now, not that Kevin Bacon and local actor, Shawn Ashmore aren't enough?? And Valorie Curry? Love! If you haven't seen The Following, you need to get caught up - it is amazing!!!

I had to look him up, did he have a twin brother who was also an actor? NO! Sam plays both Luke and Mark on The Following. I was thinking maybe it was a psycho-split personality thing, he was seeing a second him, but it appears there are twins on the show, both played by Sam. Awesome!

Welcome Sam Underwood! Can't wait for more.....

Underwood, 26, enters the series as Luke, whose bedroom eyes and disarming grin seduce a young woman named Heather in her New York apartment’s lobby. In a disturbing montage, Underwood’s character then engages in post-coital banter (including an offer to make breakfast) with a very-dead Heather on her bed. Most disturbing, he slow dances with a limp-bodied Heather as England Dan and John Ford Coley’s 1976 ballad “Nights Are Forever Without You” swells in the background.
Underwood’s dual role is revealed only when Luke emerges from a bathroom shower to stand next to Mark in a scene that likely prompted viewers to hit their DVR’s rewind button, looking for visual clues to distinguish gregarious Luke (the dancer) from reserved Mark (the pillow talker). Hint: Luke favors slicked-back hair; Mark has bangs.
Playing a freak isn’t entirely new ground for Underwood. The charming native of Surrey, England, was Dexter Morgan’s young protégé, Zach Hamilton, on the final season of Showtime’s “Dexter” last year.
“I felt like I was playing with the big boys from the get-go. Once I kind of got over my initial ‘wow’ factor, it was an absolutely joyous experience,” he says. He also played Leo Carras, the troubled boyfriend of Nicolas Brody’s institutionalized daughter Dana (Morgan Saylor), last season on Showtime’s “Homeland.”

Teen Wolf Love

Thank GOODNESS for this preview, after the latest episode of 'Teen Wolf' I am on the edge of my seat for next week.... Isaac??? Kira??? everything is getting so good... I love this show so much, I don't know many shows that can have me LOLing for real and jumping in fear while trying to figure out what will happen next.... so awesome!

I remember at comic-con seeing Holland drunk and taken to her car, meeting Tyler and Tyler, which was awesome because I love Tyler H from 7th Heaven and also had an opportunity to talk to Tyler P about People's Choice Awards when Kayley C from BBT thought he was an "average teenager" ha ha so fun!

Anyhow - - - if you aren't watching this show, you should be!!! Even my hesitant friends who gave in fell in love with it... trust me!!!

Miles Teller joins Emile Hirsch in John Belushi movie

Miles Teller Sundance Premiere Whiplash - P 2014

Miles Teller, who is drawing praise for his work in Sundance’s opener Whiplash, may have found his next project: Dan Aykroyd in the John Belushi biopic, which is being directed by Steve Conrad.

Emile Hirsch is starring in the movie and it was Hirsch who made the announcement at a party for the Creative Coalition Saturday night.

“A shout-out to Miles Teller!” he told the packed party. “We’re going to be working together soon. He’s playing Dan Aykroyd in the Belushi movie.” Teller was in the room when Hirch made the proclamation.

CAA, however, is saying any announcement may be premature. The actor does have the offer but insists the actor will take a beat to committing to any new project until after Sundance wraps and he finishes his press duties for his upcoming movie That Awkward Moment.

Aykroyd, one of Belushi’s best friends and frequent collaborator, is an exec producer on the movie, putting Teller in the unique position of portraying someone who is also part of the filmmaking team.

Teller is emerging as one of the top young talents in Hollywood and continues his hot streak that began at Sundance last year with the coming-of-age critical hit The Spectacular Now. He struck again Thursday with his electrifying performance opposite J.K. Simmons in Whiplash, on which buyers quickly pounced. The drama sold Friday for just under $ 3 million to Sony Pictures Classics.
