Jennifer Lawrence Filming Schedule: Catching Fire, X-Men...

Seems Jennifer Lawrence has a very busy few months to a year ahead of her with x-men and catching fire filming...

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Fox is informing talent agencies Thursday that the studio plans to begin shooting its in-development sequel to X-Men: First Class in January. That means Lionsgate could move forward with an August-September start date for the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire without a conflict for Lawrence, who is set to star in both.

Will Gary Ross direct Catching Fire?

‘The Hollywood Reporter’ reports that Gary Ross is currently in fierce negotiations with Lionsgate, as he is not yet officially signed on to direct ‘Catching Fire’. Now that The Hunger Games is a hit with more than $363 million in the till, the question is whether writer-director Gary Ross will return for the next installment in the lucrative Lionsgate franchise. Unlike stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, Ross is not signed for a sequel. And negotiations for him to do the first movie were “a terrible experience,” says a source with knowledge of the discussions, because Ross is a seasoned filmmaker (Pleasantville, Seabiscuit) and Lionsgate isn’t accustomed to paying seasoned-filmmaker fees. He ended up taking a relatively low $3 million to write (with Billy Ray and novelist Suzanne Collins) and direct. But he will collect a very remunerative 5 percent of backend.

Sources say Ross, 55, would like a significant raise for a second Hunger Games, but Lionsgate didn’t kick off negotiations with him until about three weeks before the first film’s March 23 opening. By then, with tracking suggesting a huge opening weekend, Ross and his CAA reps were in no hurry to bargain.

Do you think Gary and Lionsgate reach an agreement or will someone new be directing ‘Catching Fire’?

Gicen "Twilight" director change-up each movie, I can see Hunger Games doing the same... but Gary Ross did a great job and I would love to see him carry on the franchise.

Alexander Ludwig on cover of 'Da Man'

There is a brief interview with Alexander:

On bulking up to play Cato in The Hunger Games: “I gained almost 40 pounds of muscle for this role. I’m currently working on getting back to how I was before Cato. As an actor, I feel that it’s important to make a physical commitment to create a character and it’s also important for me to return to my normal self.”

On his music career: “Check out my new song ‘Liv It Up’ currently available on iTunes! I’ve always been very passionate about music and am currently working on creating an album. [My favorite musicians are] Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, a variety of country artists including Rodney Atkins.”

On making films: “My parents know how passionate I’ve always been about acting. I convinced them this was something that I was going to put my heart and soul into. They encourage me 100 percent. I couldn’t do it without their support.” See more photos at Source

American Idol 11 - My Faves

So, I have been watching American Idol, I just haven't had time to blog it.

The contestents are really talented again this year...

I really really love Phillip Phillips. I would love him to win. He has such a great sound and attitude. I adore him!

I also like Colton's voice. He is harder to like personality wise, he comes across a bit pompous perhaps, but I really do enjoy his sound.

For the ladies, I like Skylar's country sound a lot and Elise's rock sound.

Deandre is good, but not my genre of music. I also think Hollie may go home this week. She has been close too much and isn't really improving or standing out.

Jessica and Josh have amazing voices, very talented, but again not my picks.

I loved Heejun - he is such a character!!

I hope Phillip Phillips wins - - - so good!

Do you watch? Who are you rooting for?

I Love Emma Stone and Ellen and Dance Dare

SDCC Virgin... not for long! Comic-Con here I come

The past few years I have blogged about sdcc and wished I was there. This year... I will be!

My awesome friend @misstejota was there last year and got herself and me tickets for this year.

THEN... we all did the hotel lotto and she scored Hard Rock Hotel - our first (dream) pick.

I can't even explain how excited I am... I mean to be going period is amazeballs, but to be staying at the prime spot... it is close, it is known for celebrity spottings, parties and such, and it is awesome-sauce!

Anyhow, I am super excited and had to brag a bit about how amazing this trip will be and how I can't wait for July and about how FREAKING AMAZING @misstejota is - no joke!

Who else is going to SDCC this summer?

What dates are you there?

Where are you staying?

Any tips for my SDCC virgin self?

Lastly, you better plan on meeting up for drinks!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..............
