Shailene Woodley on Letterman

I am personally not a fan of Letterman's style of interviews typically, especially with young actors, but Shailene was awesome.

Watch the video below as she talks about acting, childhood, her shoes, eating clay and making her own toothpaste.

Warm Bodies Premiere in NYC

Who is going to see this next weekend? I feel like I need to go again, because I saw it in November at Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere and was not in the right mind set to appreciate it..... I hadn't read the book, I was in Twilight mind-set and found it off beat, goofy, ridiculous at times and the group I was with were giggling non-stop which got me into the giggles and we spent most the movie making Twilight connections....

I thought Nicholas Hoult was hot.... even as a zombie... I loved the juxtaposition of comedy and gore.... and love... it is like nothing you have seen before and I think people will love it

Here are some pics from the premiere in NYC:

4 times a charm...

Today I watched Breaking Dawn a third and fourth time.

Today was all kinds of awesome.

New York has been amazing, besides the rain....

Arrived Tuesday and stayed in for tv and chinese food, Wednesday went to Wicked, ate a diner with friends and then lucked into an advanced screening of Breaking Dawn while looking for the mini-premiere (which was at Sunshine)

Then today went to Serendipity and had frozen hot chocolate, sat next to the table they filmed at for the movie Serendipity, shopped, went to an amazing candy shop, had some dinner, attended the Twi-Mom's screening of Breaking Dawn, then the midnight release of Breaking Dawn. Was great to see so many friendly and familiar faces :)

But a very long day again!

*phew*

I have to say I have this movie memorized at this point, yet I STILL can't place every song... go check out my scene by scene soundtrack post and comment if you can help fill it in completely!

Also once you have seen the movie check out my SPOILER FILLED review and leave your own thoughts ;)

Best part of the midnight screening was the Hunger Games and SWATH trailer before hand... and the Hunger Games swag we got as we left (posters and buttons) I grabbed extras as I am stocking up on Hunger Games SWAG for a future blog give away ;)

Tomorrow I leave hotels and go stay with a friends for my last two nights travelling... Sunday I finally go home!

Can you believe we have a YEAR for BD 2????

November Twi-Trip

November is going to be absolute insanity. I have likely bitten off more than I can chew, but that tends to be how I roll!

I am drowning at work right now, not only is it the busiest time of year for me, my daughter has been sick, I am planning a trip next month and I just feel like I am going crazy... that is why the bloggy has been lacking...

I apologize! Real Life sometimes creeps in and kicks my butt!

More... So Basically the next week is absolutely nuts. Then after next weekend, I have less than a week, in fact, 3 or so days, to get packed and prepared for my trip.

Here is my plan (tentative and still working out kinks)

-Wednesday Nov 2 - Drive to Seattle and Fly to Cali

-Thursday Nov 3 - Check out Grauman's Theatre where a certain trio are getting their hand prints done in the cement.

-Check into hotel and hopefully relax, unless I have tix to a talk show, I applied for a few ha ha

-Friday 4th - Sunday6th is the Convention, Saturday the BIG day with a certain trio on stage in the early evening and most of the cast on stage throughout the day.

-Sunday 6th -Wednesday 9th- move to my cheap hotel ha ha relax for a few days with friends, site-seeing, talkshows maybe... open for suggestions

-Wednesday my buddies arrive and we check into new hotel and prepare for "premiere camping" this will be my first experience (ok WFE NYC but I have scratched that from my memory forever) so I am not sure what to expect but there IS a group of us who plan to do hotel/camp rotations however often permitted by security

-That weekend will be a blur of rotations, mingling, and likely some debauchery

-Monday 14th is the premier, I don't knwo what to expect but if things go well some red carpet action and maybe seeing the movie, to be honest, I would rather see it than red carpet it because I guess I am weird that way LMAO

-That night we have a hotel near LAX and in the early morning fly to NYC

-Check into Hotel, friend has classes while there, but I have other friends living or visiting NYC that I get to see, we have a few things planned such as a BD Screening and a BD midnight release and maybe take in some talk shows and/or broadway shows (I did rush seats in April and got $30 row 4 to How to Succeed in Business and then met Daniel Radcliffe out back... so worth it!!)

-Stay at friends last couple nights, just enjoy the city

-Sunday Nov 20 - FLY HOME!!!!

Tell me I am not crazy......... because I am feeling pretty damn crazy!

After this crazy October though, I deserve a break and this is a little bit more than a break but will be a blast!

When I return it is down to Seattle for USA Thanksgiving with the family and then December is staying home for recoop ha ha

I promise to take tons of photos and tweet lot's and blog lot's and share the experience for those who won't be there!!!

For those that WILL be there (or for at least part, be it the convention, the premiere, nyc, or where ever....) please let me know! I would love to meet up with as many people as possible during this adventure :-)

That's all for now... Thanks for reading!!

CONFIRMED: Darren Criss to take over for Daniel Radcliffe in Broadway's 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'

There were rumours that Darren Criss would replace Daniel Radcliffe in How to Succeed in Business without really trying but not it has been confirmed! Daniel Radcliffe's last performance will be January 1, 2012, after which time, Darren Criss will take over for at least 3 weeks.

LA Times writes:

Darren Criss, who plays the character Blaine Anderson on Fox's "Glee," will make his Broadway debut in January after Daniel Radcliffe leaves the Broadway revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

Organizers confirmed Monday the rumors that Criss will take the lead role of J. Pierrepont Finch in the musical, playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Radcliffe is scheduled to leave the show Jan. 1, and Criss will step in for three weeks from Jan. 3 to 22. It's unclear if the musical will continue beyond that date, though at least one report indicates that the producers want it to.

It's so ironic, since Darren Criss first made himself known from doing the Harry POtter Musical on youtube, and now he is taking over for "Harry Potter" on broadway!

WFE NYC - My Photos

So as you know I went to NYC for the first time. I was lucky to have so many wonderful friends and fellow-fans in the city to meet with and laugh with and enjoy the city with! I got to see some familiar faces and meet some new wonderful people. I was there 4 days and they were pretty intensely packed with stuff.... Here is a sample of photos from my trip. There are more on my facebook (Mandy S Mind)

Read on for PHOTOS, STORIES and MORE!!

I arrived early Friday and did some site-seeing with Izzie from @Twilightish. We hit Times Square and got some breakfast. I got to meet my long-time twitter buddy @BeetingOnAlice1 and we got some tix for a show that night!

Later we met with "E" "T" (also from @Twilightish) and Hollie for some more site seeing and eats. Later that night we went to see How To Succeed on Broadway starring Daniel Radcliffe (from Harry Potter) who came out after the show for pics and autogrpahs - very fun (but busy) first day in NYC!

Planet Hollywood

Saturday I was up early and managed to transit my way to meet about 1 other girls for a NYC city tour / Remember Me Set tour. It was great to again see some familiar faces and meet some new awesome chikita's!

Remember Me Walking Tour

That evening I moved in with @Twifans and we attended the 'Cocktails with Team Rosie' at the Hilton Lounge. It was hosted my @h20forElephants and had a number of FOX Studio reps and WFE special guests.

Here is Mark Povinelli aka "Walter"

Author Sara Gruen

I have more photos with producer, "Barbara" and my bloggy and fan friends on my Facebook page.

That night I did NOT take many photos - the rain was so intense I barely took my cell out, however, friends in line took photos and they were NOT pretty. The cold rain was not fun at all. I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes ha ha - it was horrible! Luckily Fox sent pizza and then donuts, but it was ridiculous!

We started under a leaky metal scaffolding, surrounded by metal fences in puddles. Not confortable but when the thunder and lightning began it became unsafe. Later they moved us across the street where we had no covering and were exposed to the pouring rain. My friend messaged me saying flights were being disrupted, so imagine weather enough to disrupt flights - and we were standing in it!

I won't go on and on - if you followed my tweets you know how it went - miserable! Fox promised us a few things they did not deliver and I still can't believe a major production studio would allow it's reps to behave certain ways, but what is done is done and I won't dwell on it in my blog.

We got wristbands at 9am, slept, went to red carpet fan area.

Again, most pics are on my facebook - some are in my private collection but here are a few to share.

ROb and Reese were great, they came to all the fans who camped out and all the (smarter) fans who arrived an hour before the red carpet. Christoph Waltz didn't even wave or look at fans sadly. We saw a few other starts not associated with the movie and lot's of family of cast.

Once the movie began and we were told we would not get anything special (meeting Rob and Reese was "special" don't get me wrong, but I could have arrived an hour before red carpet like most fans and got the same thing) for our wristbands... defeated we walked to Chipotle for eats and drinks.

One our walk back we notice the "vehicles" (tinted, nice, new ones) that dropped Rob off before red carpet. We decided to walk down the back street of the theatre and sure enough security was heavy, trying to tell people they couldn't walk on "this side of the street" and to cross over.

We decided to wait and within a few moments out came Kristen Stewart arm in arm with Robert Pattinson. They quickly hopped into an SUV and I snapped a few photos of them. Shortly after they left for the after party and Sam Bradley came out and hopped into a vehicle which sat for a few moments then also left.

We wandered to the front of the theatre and learned that Christoph had come out and signed for fans who were gated in - a diversion we opted out of this time. See once movie started we were told our wristbands would give us "the privlege" to stand in a gated "pen" until the movie was over for a chance to maybe see stars leave... yuh-huh.

Anyways - we went to the hotel to rest, debated going by the after-party but I was so exhausted I had NO desire to stand outside a party for a maybe shot at seeing them again. The next morning a few people went to Regis and Kelly while others went to the Today Show... I had planned to do one or the other but to be honest, I was so exhausted and had to fly out at 1pm so I slept in then watched the Today show from the hotel room and saw lot's of my friends and was happy for them. Then I shuttled to the iarport and flew home.

Anti-climatic I suppose but I was still catching up on sleep this weekend ha ha!

Anyhow - there you have it - my WFE NYC trip in a nutshell :)

If we met there and haven't connected since PLEASE comment or email or tweet me - I haven't found everyone yet (I am horrible ayt connecting real names/faces to twitter names/avi's ha ha)

New York Update

I have close to 1000 photos from NYC.

Many are from regular site seeing, Remember Me Walking Tour, Red Carpet for WFE, Rob & Kristen Leaving the Premiere, and just fun times with great gals in NYC.

I also have a few videos to post.

This all takes time and am at work today so I can't upload them.

Tonight I plan to upload and hopefully get some posted but for sure by tomorrow.

In the meantime here are some great pics from others from NYC.

See bazillion more here.
