Breaking Dawn Movie Poster... or not..

@Jack_Morrissey tweeted replies to fans questions about the poster.

He shared the following:


•That's another promo poster and not a theatrical poster.
•Bill's role in this poster: no he doesn't sign off on that stuff.
•The theatrical designs I got to see were very pretty
•How long until we see them: You don't have to wait that long...
•On wanting a more romantic poster with E&B and less stiff: You're going to get what you want.
•On BD theater poster: It won't suck. Promise.
•Regarding Bella's hair: I honestly don't think you'll have any complaints about that in the movie...
•Again, there'll be lots more to choose from in a couple months, give or take.
•Complaints about the poster and lack of covers: Just you wait. Also, two EW R/K covers aren't enough for you by now? No? Okay, just checking - sheesh! ;-)
•Of course there will be more posters, but whether you like them is yet to be determined!
•Fan stating all they really need is one good pic of E&B how hard is that: They're comin', they're comin'...

More on EW Magazine Cover and Breaking Dawn Eye Colour questions

When the Breaking Dawn EW Cover was revealed there were some questions about Rob & Kristen's eye colour not being the same as Edward & Bella's.

While I speculated it was because of the water reflection or the contacts not working in the water and the colour being changed post-production and that edit hadn't happened yet, it seems there is another possibility.

What doesn't make sense to me is why they would do the hair, wardrobe, pale make-up and everything.... except the contacts....

I mean, if it was an oversight, say so and just fix it for the movie right?

I don't know, and I don't care... they know now and will fix it for the movie ha ha - for now we can look at Rob & Kristen's real eye colour and imagine it is just a photo from their day off, ha ha!

Casey Anthony Found Not Guilty?

I am shocked that Casey Anthony was found not guilty, however, after my initial shock and anger faded, I began to approach it logically.

If I was a juror, having seen all the evidence given, I do not know if I could convict Casey Anthony to death. I feel like there is more to the story we do not know and I pray that now she has been found Not Guilty, she will come clean with the truth of what happened. I am certain she had a part in the death of her child, but the charges were steep and it is very difficult to convince people "without a reasonable doubt" and as guilty as I think she is of being a bad mother, making poor decisions and causing her beautiful little girls death.... I can not 100% say she should be put to death because she murdered her little girl.

I think she is guilty, I think she should be imprisoned, I hate her, I have no respect for her or anything she has done, but I can't be 100% convinced she was the sole murderer of her daughter and should be put to death.

To be honest, if it was not the death penalty I would have an easier time convicting her.... but luckily I was not a juror....

My heart goes to Baby Caylee who is in a better place now, away from her crazy mother and deranged family.

My heart cries when I think of the whole situation and I am glad it is "over" for now... I only hope Casey doesn't profit like I fear she will from this whole ordeal!

EW Interviews Rob & Kristen, "Rape" Comment Addressed

Entertainment Weekly sat down with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner for a feature interview running in this week’s magazine to discuss the world they inhabit within the Twilight universe, both on screen and off. In today’s preview, the stars open up about the glare of the media spotlight and how its intrusiveness recently led Stewart to compare it to rape — a comment she has since apologized for.


ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Do you feel more at peace about being in the spotlight these days?


KRISTEN STEWART: I just feel more comfortable, more myself, and I feel less bare. I feel much more like nobody can take anything from me. Before, I felt literally like my chest was cracked open and people could just reach in and examine and pick at anything they wanted, and it just freaked me right out.


You got a lot of criticism recently for comparing the intrusiveness of the paparazzi to rape. The comment got blown out of proportion very quickly, and you apologized.


STEWART: I’m so sensitive about stuff like that. That is the one subject that means a lot to me. I made one movie directly concerning it [2004's Speak], and I made another one where my character has a horrible history of rape [2010's Welcome to the Rileys]. I talked to a lot of people about it. I used the wrong word. I should have said “violated.” But I’m young and emotional. It’s just the way it goes sometimes. I probably shouldn’t say this, but I just feel like people got so excited once they saw that it was me. It was like, “Sweet! Let’s get her!” And then for the people to exploit it under the guise of being morally upstanding is disgusting — and it embarrassed me because I was a part of it.


Did you see it all unfold and then think, I have to issue an apology?


STEWART: No, I was in Korea when it all got bad. My publicist called me and said RAINN had issued this terrible statement.
ROBERT PATTINSON: Who’s Rain?
STEWART: You know, the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network.
PATTINSON: None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first — who were doing it specifically to get hits on their websites. That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. All they need is to get a salacious headline and people click on it, because it’s easy. And it’s quite good being part of these Twilight films because you have to give so many interviews all the time, you can defend yourself. That’s the only way. All of us stick together, as well. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.

STEWART: See, if I said that? Crucifixion. You can say so much more than me. It’s insane.

PATTINSON: That’s not true at all. When did I say anything [controversial]?

STEWART: You’re really good, but you could say, “I just took a s***on the Queen’s face,” and people would be like, “Oh, I love him! I love him!”


Mandy's Mind - What do you think? I agree, people love Rob so much he could say or so almost anything... Kristen has it way harder... why do you think that is? I am a just a "little nerd behind my computer, on my little blog" but my opinion is that people adore Rob and while many also adore Kristen she gets it way harder and I think it is because of people's love for Rob and straight up catiness against women...

Kristen sticks to what she believes in, speaks her mind, and we need to respect that.... the alternative is completely rehersed, practiced, text book, cookie cutter answers, comments and responses... LAME

Kristen Stewarts "Rape" Remark

Maybe I am Late to the Party, maybe I just don't care enough, but most likely there is just ALWAYS some friggin controversy in the Twilight Fandom and I get absolutely exhausted with it!

As soon as Kristen Stewart's interview with ELLE UK was revealed, things started to get a bit intense.

Her choice of words, in referring to the onslaught of paparazzi attention she receives thanks to her international Twilight fame, of "[t]he photos are so… I feel like I'm looking at someone being raped" were regarded by some rape crisis groups as "regrettable."

Fox News issued the story a few days ago, quoting a representative from Rape and Incest National Network (among others) to issue dismay over the comment: "Portraying a rape survivor in the film ‘Speak’ should have led her to use a more appropriate metaphor to describe the intrusive nature of the paparazzi. Rape is more than an intrusion, it's a violent crime, that causes serious long term mental health effects for victims."

Last night, the buzz began back up again on this issue when it was reported that Stewart would be issuing a public apology for her statement.

A brief, unofficial survey of Twitter responses brought forth a split in Twilight fan reactions, with some fans lauding her boldness and defending the word choice (as well as trending #IsupportKristenStewart) and others saying that they understood the meaning of her statement as well as concerns about the particular term at hand.

Today, Kristen Stewart has issued an apology via People Magazine.

"I really made an enormous mistake – clearly and obviously," she told the publication. "And I'm really sorry about my choice of words."

"I've made stupid remarks before, and I've always reasoned: 'Whatever. They can think what they want," she continued. With this particular set of words, though, she indicated that the metaphor could've been more aptly phrased. "'Violated' definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought."

Though she seems to stand firm on the sentiment of her interview, she did seem to get the sensitive nature of her word choice and concluded, "People thinking that I'm insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake."

Mandy's Mind - She chose poor words, she often does, but she realized after that it was a VERY poor choice of words, so she apologied, publicly, which she often doe NOT do (as sited in People Magazine,'Whatever. They can think what they want,") But it is done, it is dealt with, let's move on?
