Big Brother 15 brings some changes...

Summer feels so far away, but my favourite reality summer guilty pleasure (BIG BROTHER) is in full planning mode... Some major changes coming this season and I am super excited.... BBN

CBS has announced the Big Brother 15 premiere will arrive two weeks earlier than normal this summer. That’s a huge change for the series, but the less examined part of that announcement was a switch in which nights the episodes would air.

CBS says BB15 episodes will buck the recent seasons’ schedule and instead air on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Moving the weekday broadcasts up a night means the HGs will have more time before a Friday nomination and less time after a Monday PoV ceremony if production keeps the in-house events on the same old schedule. Houseguests will get an extra day to fight, struggle, and be good hamsters filled with paranoia. Just the way we like them!

Clarification: I’m talking real-time events going on in the house and not time differences between episode broadcasts. Events in the house happen days before CBS airs them.

While the broadcast viewers might not notice as significant a change in the house dynamics, it should be a dramatic improvement for fans watching the Live Feeds which is of course where the real game exists and the die hard fans never miss.

What do you think about the Big Brother 15 schedule and its impact on the game?

Seems that the added time (for live feeders, and I am a live feeder) for the plotting and fighting will make it more interesting. I have to say that the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday long wait has been pretty boring and for the most part, live feeders knew what would happen and then just sat around and waited for live show....

This change up will be good, but also starting earlier makes me happy... sooner the better, let's get this show on the road!!!

#bb14 HoH Comp Spoilers from Live Feed

Tonight was epic. It is only a minor spoiler to say it is an endurance HoH Comp that will likely continue into the evening. I am on live feeds and will update as things happen. Check back / Refresh this page often.... spoilers under the cut...

More... So tonight's episode showed us America voted coaches return to the game. The choice was, coaches could return and re set the game, no one is evicted, OR they could NOT return, game continues, but some evicted houseguests would return next week.

If even one coach voted to return,they all would. Surprisingly, Boogie was the only one who did NOT vote to retun.

So coaches are back, neither Joe nor Frank went home, and now live feeds have all 12 houseguests on a "plank" of a boat (wall) rocking back and forth, holding on to a bar, with rain and burd poop being dropped on them... so far....

7:41pm - All are still up there. Boogie looks to be struggling the most - ha ha old man!

8:05pm - Boogie jumps, shortly after Jen is out, then Joe right after.

*Talk of pizza, but it is the BB Staff not the HGs that jumped*

Britt, Ian looking strongest at this point. Danielle not bad either. Shane complains of previous shoulcer injury, Janelle and Ashley both looking sore, moving a lot to adjust. Frank, Dan, Wil seem ok.

8:39pm - another dump of water/rain poured on them. Still just the three out.

8:42pm - Ashley falls.

8:44pm - Dan falls.

9:05pm - Frank is out.

6 remain: Shane, Wil, Danielle Janelle, Brit, Ian.

9:22pm - Boogie upset about other houseguests locking elbows, asks if it is a rule, Joe says no, just a saftey caution. Boogie yells to Ian "lock elbows if you need to, everyone else is" etc. etc.

Rain starts again. Shane struggling most. Ian seems to be in best shape.

9:37pm - Wil and Shane jumped off together.

9:40pm - Janelle is out.

Danielle, Brit, Ian left.

9:46pm - Danielle, Brit, Ian remain, houseguests in house changing, Dan giving coach speech to Danielle "not your coach but I will help you, I chose you for a reason, you want to win don't you? You don't take deals, you make deals" ha ha

10:08pm - Ian, after triple checking he was safe, jumped.

10:09 - Brit jumps. Danielle wins!!!

Danielle wins, Dan tackles her in congrats, Shane does same with an added kiss.

Shane said today if he won HOH he would put up Joe and Wil and he seems to be still on the wave legnth, but we will swee...

It seems the strategy SHOULD be to nominate one from each team (Janelle's and Boogie's) to makei t more fair (Brit and Dan are down to one each) leaving Danielle to be a swing vote.

Janelle and Dan agreed Frankw ould be the best bet, and if Shane doesn't put him up it will mean they have an alliance (they do... even Brit isn't aware of it, after Shane took himself off the block last week when Frank put him up, they have been buddy, but only secretly and only because Boogie in a moment of wisdom, pointed out that Shane is a strong competitor and if he isn't going home, he is probably going to win an HOH soon)

If I had to predict at this moment, Shane will go with Joe and Wil or if he is pushed to do one from each team maybe Jen... I don't know though... We have to see who wins coaches competition also and if that involves a save or a trade.

Also, they are drinking, so it may be an interesting/fun night...

Danielle will be going up in his place.

Jojo and Danielle will be the nominees, it seems there are two sides each trying to get one or the other out.

Getting Danielle out eliminates the last of Dan's players, however, JoJo is annoying and part of the "WILLIE" team (well, was.)

Jojo had been the target but it sounds like she may hae a chance at this point, we shall see!

Other points:

There seems to be a group actively seeking to get rid of Wil soon.

Boogie sees Ian and Frank as strong and other houseguests are thinking the two have a F2 deal.

Ash is not as dumb as she lets on, Jojo says she is bi and going to try to steal Ash from Ian (jokingly?!)

Brit is still annoyinh and catty, she is trying ot make nice(r) with Janelle again.

Shane is seen as a huge physical threat after winning two POVs and is starting to be worried.

Some are hip to Dan throwing comps, he denies it.

HGs play bocce ball in yard.

Ian smokes (admits he smokes once a day usually).

So Willie is gone. We know this from my previous spoiler post.

Shane and Jojo were put up by HOH Frank.

Based on conversations it sounds like Danielle will be replacement nominee.

So if Danielle goes home, Dan is out of players.

There is a lot of "playing" going on. Frank & BOogie talked to Shane last night saying they would work with him, yadda yadda.

It feels like a lot ofplayers are saying one thing to one group and another to another, so until we see DR it is tough to know how they will really vote.

JOJO drives me nuts so I 'd love to see her go. I also don't like Danielle after watching more of her on live feed... lastnight in the hammock with Dan she said she didn't like pretending to be a K teacher because she was actually as smart as Ian and can "recite the periodic table" ha ha ha

She also went on and on about appearences and not caring (though she looks in the mirror 24/7) and that she didn't care about not being a blonde bombshell (yes as Trixie, etc she said she was the only brunette boo hoo) and talked about how she had legal responsibilities if there was an injury because she is so high up in the medical field... oh god! It isn't that any of this is/isn't true, it is HOW she says it, going on and on and on - i just don't like her....

My opinions right now:

Not a fan of:

-Joe - dirty, yappy, hate his fae landing strip

-JoJo - needs a muzzle

-Danielle - so yappy, self-centered yet insecure

-Boogie - name dropping, controling, thinks he is the bomb, looks old and sick

Like:

-Dan as coach and overall
-Ian to win
-Janelle - tolerable, she is way less cool this season so far
-Jenn - different, i like it
-Frank - I loved Willie so i am sad about that whole issue but I do like Frank, minus Boogie's influence.

Apparently Dan and Boogie threw the competition and Janelle won. She chose to save Ashley this week and not do a trade. She also chose to put Brit's team as HAVE NOTS.

The feeds went down as soon as shit hit the fan but here is what went down:

After Willie already said no one would send him out the door, it seems he did excatly what he needed to in order to go home...

He got mad at Janelle for putting him as a have not, he threw pork rinds at Janie and called her names, then he and Joe had it out and there was some head butts and such.

Needless to say he went to DR and then was expelled from show.

also I believe JoJo and Shane are up / nominated...


Going to be a good week but not sure how it will play out with so few players left now.. obviously coaches will join or they will bring player(s) back.

here are my thoughts on the cast thus far:

-Ashley - stoner? She always seems high, I hope/think it's an act.

-Willie - I love him. I loved Russell too... it's a Hantz thing (minus Brandon ha!)

-Frank - I did like him, not as much now.

-JoJo - She is interesting. I like that she aligned with Willie and Shane.

-Shane - He is kind of dull, but cute. Again, I like Willie so as long as they are teamed together I like him.

-Jenn - I am glad to see a non-Barbie-bimbo casted, I like her uniqueness, not sure on her game play yet.

-Joe - annoying. I don't like him at all.

-Danielle - don't know her well yet, her and Kara were kind of one.

-Ian - I liked, but he is proving to be pretty creepy... still it is endearing.

-Wil - so pretty. I am not entirely sure how I like him yet.

Coaches:

-Brit - still don't like her, but I do hate her less.

-Janelle - still love her

-Boogie - I used to like him, but he is kind of a cocky dbag

-Dan - still love him, but wish he could catcha break.

Reality TV - Tuesday June 5

Tonight was another reality television night.

Masterchef
Auditions #2 was tonight and it didn't disappoint. Like last night there were some good, some bad and some questionable. As I said last night I will recap and blog episodes once auditions are over. It is just too hard for me before that point... and I am feeling lazy ha! Last night I listed a few names from Auditions #1. I missed the tall guy who everyone asked if he was a basketball player - he was awesome! Tonight a few stand outs included Felix (first gal), the dessert girl who ran for a rolling pin, the cowboys were entertaining at least, but the horse riding one got through. I also loved the husband and wife combo.

Love in the Wild
I seriously can't understand why I watch this show... but I do. It is usually my background show while I do other things online and my recaps are pretty vague idf I can remember names. I will try to do better this time, but no guarantees. Tonight's episode was a good start. I love Jenny McCarthy as host and the nick names the contestents used for each other("boobs mcgee") helped me since I usually have to refer to them by nicknames (Have you seen my Bachelorette recaps? "head injury guy" and "egg dude" and "long haired boy" LOL Sorry, I am not detail focused - CLEARLY!) Read my recap from tonight here....


Hells Kitchen
Episode #2 was tonight and the drama was full force. It is always equally entertaining and mind-blowing at how terrible these "chefs" are.... See my full re-cap from tonight's episode here.

Tomorrow: SYTYCD Auditions #3 (Again, I usually start recaps once we get our top group, though a bit of commentary happens during auditions and CERTAINLY during Vegas week!!!)

Reality TV Time Once Again

It has been a while since my last full post on Reazlity TV though I have done individual show posts plenty.... things are building up for the busy season again...

It's that time again, when there is way too much Reality Television on and my PVR is always full and I never run out of things to say..... excited? I thought so!

First of all, I wanted Audrey in the finale. Second of all, I thought Clay should have beat Arsenio. Ah well.

The Voice
I was not thrilled with the winner, but content. See my post here.

American Idol
I do not want Jessica to win. I wish she was eliminated the first time but the judges used their stupid save on her. I really though she would go home last week, but Josh was sent home. I have been rooting for the very sexy, very talented, very raw sounding, Phillip Phillips since day one and I hope he wins. I fear Jessica might. Either way, they are all talented, I just know thet regardless they will all have successful careers. In fact, I think those that do NOT win can pursue more rewarding careers than the show can provide. Who knows - I am rooting for PP and I will buy his cd and go to see him in concert.... I will not for Jessica.

SYTYCD
New season starts soon - SQUEE! It feels like it has been so long., THey cancelled SYTYCD Canada which is depressing, but at least the American version returns this week. THings will be different this season, for one there is only one two-hour episode a week, also there will be one male and one female winner at the end. THey will use the previous weeks votes and reveal them after the routines are performed so they aren't nervous during the routines.

Hell's Kitchen
Ramsey returns in a couple weeks with a new season of Hell's Kitchen.

ANTM
Of course it comes down to one American and One British model. I really love Sophie since forever and hope she takes it home!

Big Brother
It seems like just yesterday I had my wisdome teeth surgery and was high and bed-ridden and watching live feed for Big Brother *sigh* last summer... the good ol' days. I have heard strange buzz about this season... Thursday July 12 it returns, I will be at SDCC but will PVR it for sure!

Love in the Wild
This show was so bad, but I had to watch it, Jenny McCarthy is hosting, she is also apparently doing playboy again.... anyhow, it is on this summer and I will probably watch.

X Factor
Well there are some new judges, and I will watch.... but I am still bitter I didn't get in last year when I had tickets and waited in line all day... grrr...

What am I missing?

#bb13 Finale

Adam, Porsche and Rachel remain as the final 3 and tonight the winner was announced! More... Rachel won first round, as we knew from live feeds. Porsche won second round, as we knew from live feeds. Tonight in a live show down Rachel beat Porsche, but ultimately took Porsche with her to the final two. Adam was hilarious with Julie Chen and the jury asked good questions and had a good discussion. In the end Rachel won. Jeff - R Jordan - R Brendon - R Shelly - R Dani - P Adam - P Kalia - P Crazy Eh? Jeff won America's Fave Player - which brings his total to $40k this season. Not bad since POrsche got $50k at 2nd place ha ha ha! What do you think? I am happy with results!

Kalia was evicted - unsure if it was a tie and Rachel chose or if Adam and Jordan both voted her out. It was 1-1 but Rachel broke the tie to send Kalia out.

Adam is new HoH, Jordan was a close second (only one point behind) It was a true/false trivia based on the fortune teller lines and Adam got 6/6, Jordan 5/6 Porsche only 2-3



We will see this all on Wednesday's "live show" (which was taped tonight) where Julie wears a leopard print dress according to audience members ha ha

and then Thursday is the usual LIVE SHOW with another eviction giving us the Final 3 and probably the first part of the final HoH comp.

Also, they show Shelly arriving to the jury house where things are super uncomfortable.

Everyone played except Rachel who hosted (HoH Jeff and 2 nominees Porsche and Kalia) along with 3 picks from random draw as well as Dani who has the veto pass.

Sounds like competition was a matching game of some sort where they wore jackets and ties that were funky.

Jeff won POV also which means he could keep noms the same or backdoor someone.... The ceremony will probably be held Monday as usual.

So we know from my last post that Jeff won Hoh... today he nominated Kalia and Porsche....


Monday the Veto comp will be held and it will be the usualy 6 players (Porsche, Kalia, Jeff plus they each draw a name) as well as Dani who will use her veto pass.


I am ok with this and hope to see Kalia leave!

Jeff won HoH... he filled his "ball" up first and got the white ball out. It was clear he would win as he was a few inches a head of everyone else.


From general chit chat so far tonight it seems he will put up Dani/Kalia/Porsche in some combination and if veto is used, the third gal will be replacement.

He may approach Dani and tell her to NOT use the veto if he puts up Kalia/POrsche, but isn't sure he can trust her so may put her up forcing her to play veto for herself. He needs to talk to production to fully understand how her veto card works... He wants to fish it out of her so it can't be played later on and bite him in the ass.

We shall see.

Brendon is gone, Rachel is a bit mopey but not nearly as bad as last time, I think she is ready to fight...

Reality TV Update August 12, 2011

I was away for a few days camping, but spent today unpacking and catching up on this week's reality tv shows. This was my update on Monday including BB13, Bachelor Pad, Hells Kitchen, Masterchef and more.

Big Brother

Well since I have live feeds I do indeed blog regularily on updates. I always put the results under a link/cut so that no one sees spoilers unless they want to.

Everyone saw "America" voted Brendon back in *gag* I truly feel this is a CBS rigging. I have seen tweets from past houseguests who alluded to the manipulation of producers, and maybe it is my own bias, but I just can NOT believe that American voted BRENDON back in.... *shrugs*

Anyhow, he played Lawon, let's face it, ANYONE would beat Lawon, and now we have to endure Brenchel once more.

Due to live feeds I know who is new HoH and who that person nominates and I have to say it is all quite a shocker. Spoiler Post here

Hells Kitchen

I already did a recap and review of Monday's episode before I left, but today I watched Tuesday's episode and was fairly upset. I really liked Jonathan, but he fell apart and had to go. I was shocked to see Natalie beside him and at risk to be sent home. I really peg her as a finalist to behonest. I am so sick of the Elise vs. Carrie dramaz but it looks like it hits its breaking point next week based onthe previews. Let's hope!

Masterchef

We are now down to the Final 4 after a devestating elimination Tuesday evening. I have to say, it has been between Christian, Jennifer and Adrien the past few weeks for me, but I absolutely love Ben and loathe Suzy. And even within those top 3, I think Christian is far too cocky and hate that his cooking is so good! I'd love to see Adrien or Jennifer win, but after tonight we know Ben will not as he was sent home, sadly. I will miss his smile and crazy printed chef hats, but I am ready to see what the final 4 can bring in this competition. Full recap here.

Challenge: Rivals

I did an entire post on this week's episode only because it was a lot of insanity in one show. They moved to Argentina, but not before a massive Toga party, then they fought, then they di d a helicopter awesome challenge, then they had to think individually - gasp! and in the end we didn't get to the challenge.... it was To Be Continued... I am rooting for CT and Adam, for once... want to know why? Read complete recap and lengthy review here.

Love in the Wild

I was so glad to see Skip and Theresa go. Of the remaning 6 people, 3 couples, they had the weakest connection it seemed. I really enjoyed the challenge of swimming and coins and so on, but what was best was the end. Of course now they have connections, no one is going to choose someone else, so they had a "newlywed" game style contest to see who knew their partners best. It was fun and I am so happy to see Mike and Sam along with Miles and Heather in the finals. I think both have a good connection but I am rooting for Miles and Heather simply because I think they have the BETTER connection and Mike and Sam have won everything so far! It's a cute show and I am excited to hear they will do a season 2!

Jersey Shore

I am always terrified and shocked by this show. They are in Italy, and Deena can't stay on her own two feet, she stumbles all over sober or drunk, she and PaulyD are besties somehow and want to hook-up without ruining the friendship like Vinnie and Snooki. The Situation is all interested in Snooks now, because they hooked up before the season and she has a "serious" boyfriend (who we know doesn't last) it is chaos. Meanwhile, Ronnie and Sammi are over and ok with it, until they are drunk then she is a blubbering whiney leech again. I am so over them - I have been - they are so unhealthy for each other, I kind of wish Sammi didn't even go to Italy to be honest. Drunk, Single ROnnie is hilarious. Sammi - drunk, sober, anywhich way, is a bore or an annoyance.

SYTYD USA

Well, I called it almost from day one. I favoured Mel and Marko, along with Ryan, all along. I was really impressed with the finale performance show as well as the results show / finale. I loved all the new routines and repeated favourites from the season. It was awesome to see everyone again on the show and re-live the fantastic season!

Some favourites include: Matt Flint, Nick Young and Jess LeProtto tap routine, Tadd and Joshua doind Lil C's routine, Melanie and Robert doing Stacey Tookeys routine, oh I could go on and on - it was just a great two-evening finale!

I am glad the season is over, because SYTYCD Canada is only at Top 12 and to be honest, seeing SYTYCD Monday, Tuesday (Canada) then Wednesday, Thursday (USA) was a tad exhausting. I found it really hard to switch gears between the two. I mean Canada's is shorter, especially since I fast-forward through Leah Miller and most of the judges, PLUS our results show is only a half-hour, no filler, just the facts.... but still - I enjoy SYTYCD so much I wish the seasons did not overlap. Luckily, they don't always.

SYTYCD Canada

I did my performance post of the Top 14 here. I only just watched the results show tonight and have done a post on that below (scroll down). Overall, I am ok with the results, but really, Carlena should have stayed a few more weeks at least. There were females weaker than her I would have prefered to see leave. Ah Well! I am rooting for Jordan and Joey at this point. Still.

So TOnight's show will show Dani winning HoH and nominating *gasp* Adam and Shelly... this is a shock but I am glad to see it.


During PoV which will air Tuesday, there are many prizes:

Jordan wins a unitard that says "I am with stupid" (points up at self) and a dunce cap with a tu-tu. It's actually quite cute!

Kalia wins a Caribean vacation

Shelly wins a call home, but first 24 hours confinement in the Have-not bedroom.

Dani wins a veto card (pass to play in any veto comp she wants)

Jeff wins another $10k

Also, it seems (though live feeds do not show PoV comp) that Jeff TOOK the $ from Jordan leaving her with the unitard!!! I love JeJo and Jeff especially but live feeds are showing a different side of him that CBS edits out - CBS had me believing he was so perfect and he is NOT! I still love him.... just don't worship him - and deffo prefer Jordan!

Anyhow, it is clear Adam will remove himself frm the block and Dani has been hinting Brendon would go up - - - but I fear Jeff might. She is saying sending out Shelly - but who knows at this point what will happen.
