SAG Awards

I really enjoyed the SAG Awards tonight. I liked the pro-union messages, the charitable work showcased and all the pretty people!

I was super impressed with Jennifer Lawrence's win and Anne Hathaway and Claire Danes....

Downton Abbby cast looked so shocked "Shut the french windows" ha ha

Argo win was good, Ben Affleck is amazing though I still have not seen the movie yet... I have heard great things! I also loved Ben's speech - I have loved his wife, Jennifer Garner since Alias.... which Bradley Cooper was also in by the way (his movie was nominated too and I was rooting for it, Silver linings playbook, for my own bias reasons....

I love jessica chastain, so it was nice to see her present and look back at those we lost this year.

I loved the intros "I am an actor" especially Sophia V from Modern Family... "thanks to these I always look like a hooker" ha ha

Jessica Chastain - In Style

I loved her in The Help and can't wait to see her in Zero Dark Thirty. Does anyone remember her vaguely from Veronica Mars? I want to rewatch and see. (Loved Veronica Mars!)

Jessica Chastain is amazing and I hope to see more of her in the future... She is featured on In Style this month and the interview shows how sweet and awesome she is...

Fame and money have not been my goals. If they had, then this probably would not have happened, because this all happened from independent films. Not big pay cheques.

'Even The Help was an independent film. We were all cast before the success of the novel. Thank God, because they would have never ever given me Celia Foote [her character] had people known how big it would become.'

Although the actress has now become a Hollywood sensation, she admitted she initially struggled to make it on the big screen because of her somewhat unconventional looks.

Jessica added in her interview with InStyle: 'There were a couple of times when I thought, "Maybe I should dye my hair blonde?" I’m in LA and I’m thinking, "Why can’t I get an audition for a film?"

'Being a redhead and not having very conventionally modern looks, it was confusing for people and they didn’t know exactly where to put me. Most of the time, it was, "Why is this taking so long?"'
