National Lampoon's Christmas Drinking Game

Found this fun idea at this blog site

What you will need for this game: an excessive amount of beer, a Santa hat & a single shot of your choice

Take One Drink Every Time:
  • Ellen calls Clark "Sparky"
  • Someone is wearing an ugly holiday sweater
  • Clark does something awkward
  • There is singing or music
  • The swimming pool is referenced
  • Clark is wearing a sports team article of clothing, unless of course, you are wearing a Chicago Blackhawks jersey, then that means you are a complete badass & you get to give drinks at each of those parts.

Additional Rules:

The entire group takes a drink whenever an advent calendar door is opened.

You must yell “Shitter’s Full!” any time you leave to use the restroom, otherwise you must finish your beer when you return.

First person to say “Get me somebody! And get me somebody while I'm waiting!” when Frank Shirley appears on screen for the first time chooses a person to finish their drink.

First person to stand up & fully complete the “knock on the door, peek in…” correctly WITH hand gestures during that scene gives two drinks.

At any point in the movie, you can point to someone & yell "RUS!" If they do not respond with "Right here, dad" they must take a drink (max once per person, this could get excessive).

Anytime someone misquotes a line in the movie, they have to wear the Santa hat until it gets passed to the next person. When the movie is over, the last person wearing the Santa hat has to shotgun a beer & finish by saying “Ahh, It’s good, It’s good. It’s good.

Whoever ISN’T up for watching Home Alone immediately after the movie ends has to take the SHOT!

Peter Facinelli on Vacation

As reported today by Popsugar, Peter Facinelli and his wife Jennie Garth logged some time poolside yesterday while on vacation in Mexico. Jennie broke out her striped bikini to soak up the sun, and Peter took off his button-down to give us our latest peek at his shirtless bod. Peter and Jennie are enjoying some rest and relaxation together before he gets down to work promoting Eclipse around its release next month. For now, though, all he and Jennie have to do is appreciate the flora and fauna South of the border in Mexico.

Glee at the White House

First Lady Michelle Obama has invited the stars of Glee to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on April 5.

Dose.CA writes:

Forget making it to regionals; New Directions is heading straight for Washington, D.C. Yes, Entertainment Weekly reports that First Lady Michelle Obama has extended an invitation for the stars of Glee to perform at the White House – quite a feat for a group that frequently gets Slurpees thrown in their faces.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha are huge fans of the Fox series, and the First Lady was pleased to invite the Glee kids to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on April 5. Sure enough, the Glee producers quickly rearranged their production schedule to accommodate such a presidential performance.

Unfortunately, we Gleeks have several more weeks to wait before Glee returns – the next new episode doesn’t air until April 13.

VanCity BlogHer Holiday Party

So my friend is a blogger.

She pretty much spends most of her time doing that in leiu of a "real job"

I love it.

I remember in early 2009 when I asked her, how can I become a full time professional blogger. She told me a lot about blogging but one thing she said was that I needed a "niche" since not a lot of people read "diary or journal blogs" anymore unless they are unique....

at that time my blogs were journaly, gossipy, boring... then... Twilight came to town.

I went from my own friends and may 20 people I knew from a friend of a friend reading my blog, to thousands of people....

I didn't find my "niche" it found me.

Now - several months, two movies and several cast encounters later - here we are.

I am not in a situation to quit my "real job" to blog - the money I have made from blogging would not even cover the cost of vodka, hell of even coffee to keep me blogging as often as I do - - - BUT - - - It is an outlet, it is fun, it is interactive and I love it.

That being said..... my blogger friend is throwing a blog-her holiday party for charity and she invited me since I am in Vancouver, I am a woman and I am indeed a blogger.... so this upcoming Sunday I will be attending an appie & drink party to meet other female bloggers in Vancouver... exciting.

I love writing and I thank you all for reading... it is a fun outlet for me and I am so glad to have readers like you to keep me motivated :-)
