Bachelorette Finale this Sunday - spoilers under the cut

Finally watched "The Men Tell All" episode from last week while I was at COmic-Con... wow!

Nothing totally shocking, I mean it is pretty much the same formula every season isn't it?

It was really hard to see Sean. In my dream scenario, Emily chooses Sean. Maybe with this "live finale" surprise, she changes her mind and takes Sean...?? I wish...

According to Reality Steve (as of July 3) Emily chose someone and they are engaged - still. But according to ABC there were some "unresolved feelings" after the show that will be addressed at the live finale... hmmm.... the rest of what I have to say is spoilery so only read if you want to be spoiled with the results and rumours around the twists....

I have never liked Arie... ok I lie. I loved him until I learned about his background (dating a producer, friends with Chris Harrison, likely coached by producers throughout show, kind of a player/dbag back at home)

But he is cute.

Luckily, according to reality Steve, he doesn't propose (Emily may stop him before he does, or maybe he just doesn't I don't know....) but emily is now engaged to Jef after teh show and and still.

Now this "live show" unresolved issues thing may be an Arie/Emily thing, but you have to know I am praying it is a Sean/Emily thing because I think they are THE most perfect couple... of course, I'd love even more to see Sean as the next Bachelor - but we have to endure Roberto for that role apparently - gah!!!

Anyways - if nothing has changed, Emily and Jef are engaged and happy but there was a little something since Curaco/finale taping that will be addressed on live finale.

So what do you think?

Bachelorette - Prague

Tonight's episode we finally hear about Arie and Cassie (the producer) past relationship. Apparently it was brief and ten years ago and not a big deal... meh! We also saw an interesting rose ceremony and some romantic one on one dates....

First one-on-one was with Arie.

We had the Cassie drama emerge. Emily was mad at Arie for not telling him. They had an off screen discussion and by dinner she forgave him and was making out with him non-stop again.

Arie tells Emily he loves her and she eats it up. She is so into him.

------------

John "Wolf" gets the next one-on-one date.

Emily seems to know a lot about Communism and John Lennon and graffiti... *shrugs*

They can't figure out their lock, foreshadowing of what's to come? They have never ever had any connection. I have no idea why she kept him after week one to be honest. The only reason I wantes him around was to discover WHY they call him "WOLF"

John admits he had his heart broken and Emily realizes it isn't lack of connection, but his guard being up - um, NO EMILY! You don't have a connection!

----------------

Group Date is Sean, Doug and Chris....

Sean runs through the streets of Prague and surprises Emily. She is grinning ear to ear. She seems so in love with him. I really do like them together. They have the "look" they make out and she apologizes for putting him on a group date, but he is ok with it and after their beers and one on one alone time tongue twisting then making out against a wall in an alley some more, he leaves feeling pretty happy.

---------------------

Group Date - horse drawn carriage pulls up to haul the men along. Squished. Under umbrella's. Lame already!

Doug gets some one-on-one time and is awkward. He is closed off, arms crossed, scared to touch her and very stand offish. He even says if they were to move on after this they would be "starting off" Doug wants to get to know her more, but she is already having more with others. She talks to him, ready to send him home and he doesn't realize it and kisses her. She thanks him them continues to send him home. He feels like an idiot, understandably.

He is a single dad and a decent guy. But it just wasn't there. Maybe he will come back as a bachelor?

Emily and Sean's one-on-one time is kissing and talking about the night before.

Chris gets some one-on-one time and he spends a lot of the time complaining and saying he won't dwell on it, as he dwells on it. THey share some kisses, but it isn't passionate like with Arie OR Sean. I have never seen what Em sees in Chris. She thinks he is so attractive and perfect. Meh.

With Doug gone she only has two men to choose from to give the rose. It isn't surprising when she gives it to Sean. Chris is bitter and mad, though he says he isn't.

-----------------

Jef and Emily get their one-on-one date. Theya re so cute. The odd couple. He doesn't look like her type, like Sean does. But they click so well. I loved their lil puppet dolls. They used them to talk about their feelings and Jef told Emily he was in love with her and it was so sweet..... She gets nervous after learning that Jef dumped a girl because his parents didn't approve - no pressure. They have an amazing time laying on a library floor talking about kids and life.

'I Want to Date You So Hard and Marry the F--- Out of You'

OMG best line ever! Jef is so different. I am torn between him and Sean. I don't want her with Arie. The Cassie thing isn't why, he is just slimey from what I hear.

Sean and her look the part, the whole package. But Jef, somethign about him is just so sweet and different. Time will tell.

Cocktail Ceremony

Chris is stillupset he didn't get some one-on-one quality time with Emily and plans to talk to her tonight.

Emily talks with Chris about how the relationships were confirmed this week and that inthat the ones that were slower to progress were glaringly obviously not happening.

She doesn't want a cocktail party. Chris panics. As he should. John/Wold feels confident. I don't think either of them should stay (or even be there still) Chris seems to have a panic attack he is wandering in tears talking to himself.... he other men seem to be secretly pleased.

Rose Ceremony

Sean has a rose.

3 roses remain.

1 will go home.

She explains why there is no cocktail party, it's purpose is to have unanswered questions answered, but this week she has all her questions answered because this week they were all so open and honest about how they were feeling.

- Jef gets a rose.
- Arie gets a rose.

(It seems telling Em you love her is a good move at this stage in the game.. I mean, journey)

and finally..... Chris asks for some time to talk... of course. I am glad he did, he looked like he was about to pass out or shake out or something. John Wold seems upset. As he should be. Now what? Who was she going to pick? Does this change her mind?

Final rose goes to Chris.

Poor Wolfman... I guess we will NEVER know why John is called "wolf" (what a rip off)

She apologizes. Says other relationships have moevd at a faster pace. He says "right, right" but seems to be in a zone - he admits he is shocked and thought him opening up on the date really connected them.... "yea it sucks" he says. *shrugs* I don't even care - except that we don't know why he is called wolf... that upsets me!

So there ends another episode of Bachelorette... dum dee dum...

So what did you think?

These 4 will take Emily home to meet their family. I love the family visits. You get to see the cray behind the men ha ha

Arie Interview - Bachelorette

I am getting excited for tomorrow's Bachelorette. It *seems* they will address Arie's "BAGGAGE" as I call it. His past relationship with producer Cassie, the gal who basically spend day and night with Emily as her best/closest friend and confident during filming. Awesome!

I am glad they are (seemingly) going to address it. I know, however, that they will NOT address his other baggage, the stories of him on the road and banging his best friends girls... ya - brutal!

Reality TV World interviewed Arie... Here is part of it, but there is much more at their site.

Reality TV World: There's been some skepticism that you, being a race car driver, just happened to apply for The Bachelorette considering the coincidence of Emily's background story and her ex-fiance Ricki. So why did you initially apply to go on the show and how did that come about? Did you apply on your own because you wanted a chance with Emily or did you not know much about Emily prior to appearing on the show?

Arie Luyendyk Jr: Well, I didn't know anything about Emily -- well I mean, I've watched a little bit of The Bachelor, the season with Ben and Courtney. And I was actually at a race and I got a conference call from the producers asking me about another driver, and so we talked about that other driver, and eventually I was like, "This guy is probably not ready to settle down."

And then jokingly I just said, "Well, what about me?" And they sort of laughed it off and they said, "Well, we'll let you know if there's an opening, but we think we have everybody." And then a lot of time went by and they called me back, and it was very close to taping. They said, "Are you still interested?"

And by that time, I knew Emily was The Bachelorette, and one of my friends who watches the show all the time -- her name's Christina -- she just told me, "You need to go on the show. Emily is right for you. I know your personality. I know your type." So when they called back, I said, "Yes, definitely."

For me, it was so unexpected and it was very cool, because when I showed up, I didn't know anything about her. I didn't know her last name. All I saw was a picture on an iPhone from Google and it was cool, because I really went into it sort of with no expectations, and I think that's what made it the most fun.

Reality TV World: Would you ever consider proposing to Emily without bonding with and really getting to know her daughter Ricki first? What are your thoughts on that?

Arie Luyendyk Jr: I think you'll definitely have to see the show for that, because there's a lot that'll happen. And you know, I take a big risk this week and I break the rules, and I may not even get that opportunity.

Reality TV World: At this point in the season, did you feel like Emily reciprocated those feelings for you? Did you think she was falling in love with you?

Arie Luyendyk Jr: I felt like it. I felt like she gave me a lot of confidence, and I think it's always really hard -- the situation is very difficult because she's seeing other people, so you want to be reassured. And I feel like, at this point, she definitely reassured me that she had feelings for me and that's what I think made me so confident.

Reality TV World: Would you have any interest in becoming the next The Bachelor star if you don't end up with Emily?

Arie Luyendyk Jr: (Laughs) Well, you know, my fiancee might not approve of that. (Laughs) No, I'm just joking. (Laughs) Basically, it's hilarious because I know that's a hot topic right now, but who knows what will happen. If I am engaged to Emily, I don't think it's possible for me to become the next Bachelor.

Bachelorette - Croatia

Emily goes to Croatia and Rocky heads back home with her babysitter. She either feels strongly about the men or no clue - so her goal is to resolve the "no clue" men.

Men are excited to be there, we get some great wide shots of the land and architecture.

Emily arrives at the men's room to say hello. She leaves a date card and slips out....

Travis reads it out:

Travis, let's look for love beyond the walls"

Travis needed this date and he knew it. They head to the old historical part of town and explore the streets. They seem to have fun, but it doesn't feel romantic to me. They go to a balancing stone where IF you can balance on it while removing an article of clothing then you will be lucky in love. Travis can't even get on the stone at first. Emily is bummed he didn't take his shirt off.

At dinner they have some nice conversation. Emily asks what he thinks he did wrong (with his ex) he answered well "I don't know that I did anything wrong, I don't know if she did anything wrong" He admits he hasn't dated since his engagement, two years ago.

They talk more about life and they seem to be getting along, but I just don't feel like they connect as deeply as she has with others. Still it felt like she would keep him.... but she did not. I think it is for the better.

I feel horrible for Travis, he DOES seem like a great guy, and he is legit hurt being sent home... poor fellow - I am sure after the show he will meet someone fantastic!

Back at the house:
The men weigh in on Travis. Some don't see him as romantic, oh course thinks Emily needs a bad boy like him *eye roll*

Date Card arrives:

"Lasting Love requires Bravery"

John, Doug, Sean, Jef, Chris and Arie.

That means Ryan gets the one-on-one. His confidence is sickening and the men are not happy.

Group Date:
They go see the movie "BRAVE" I can't wait to see this movie, I am taking my daughter and my gf and her kids.

After the movie Emily surprises the men with a "competition" Highland Games. The men get dressed in kilts and head to the challenge. They look hot in black sleeveless tops and their kilts and knee high white socks. Hilarious.

First up is Archery:
Emily starts them off with a good shot.
Moat of the men do pretty well, Chris is pretty worried about the task and he does horribly.

Next up is the toss:
No one wants to go first, Chris feeling down from Archery volunteers. Essentially it is a log throw.

He DQs.

Jef's also DQs.

Sean breaks the log.

HOT!

Lastly the leash:

Two men pull a stick to try and pull opponent past them.

Chris picks Doug.
Doug wins.

Poor Chris is 0-3

Emily gives the bravery cup to Chris even though Sean won everything. She says she appreciated Chris picking Doug over someone smaller and keepi9ng a smile on face despite the losses. Emily is so sweet! She took Chris for some one-on-one time and kisses.

Emily reassures Sean. Arie is still feeling unsure since their last encounter and apologizes again for "london" then makes out with her - of course. Jef offers his coat to Emily and they sit and chat. Arie seems very into her and they don't waste anytime snuggling up. She asks what took him so long to kiss her. He wishes he hadn't. Emily spends some more time with Chris and then goes and gets the rose to give to him. The men are sad, but Emily tells Chris he has been a stand out since day one and that he is the kindest, sweetest, most handsome man she has ever met *gag*

Don't get me wrong, He is all those things I guess, but I just don't see it - I never have - I don't get what she is seeing personally.

Back at the house:
Ryan goes on a rant about how wonderful he is. He clearly rubs the men the wrong way - as per usual. He is so flirty and playful with Emily in front of the men, Emily is clearly hip to this but still keeps him around. He heads out on his date. The men laugh as soon as they close the door - he is so corny and they all know it.

On the date...
"The world is our oyster" was teh date card so they hit the road. Emily is unsure about how she feels about him. She calls him rotten and trouble. He feeds the lines and she picks it up. She loves the playfulness but as a mom I can't see her keepig him much longer - he is NOT a father figure at all!

They hit the boat and slurp some oysters - gross! She can't even swallow it she has to spit it out - I am with her, I can't eat oysters either!

They spend the day in a small waterfront town and he seems to get serious with her saying he is a great man so he can find a great woman and he feels god has done that. He says 'trophy wife' and Emily doesn't like it. 'All men should see their wife as a trophy' Emily says she goes back and forth on Ryan - well Emily - then STOP! Just get rid of him - please!

For dinner they are seemingly tipsy - as the shows mandate is to get couples drunk and silly for ratings.

Ryan is super confident and Emily keeps drilling him. They joke about her gold dress and the 'trophy wife' although it is playful, he is a bit of a jerk and she is giggling instead of challenging him.

Ryan reads his 12 things he wants to find in a woman to Emily....

loyal, logical, encourager, faithful, nurterer, confident, magnetic, people are drawn to, loves to laugh, observant, unselfish, beautiful, loves to catch my eye, etc etc

Emily says she feels like when she is around Ryan she feels like she has to be perfect all the time, and fit into his mold.

"There it is, it's been there" he says pointing to the rose. I am hoping she won't give it to him...

Smiling she points out their history of dates and compliments his looks and kissing - - - BUT the list of things he looks for in his future wife and life doesn't jive. her #1 on the list would be a loving family not seeking perfection and it wasn't on his list and so even though she adores him she isn't sure they want the same things....

She can't give him the rose

PHEW!!!!

"That is very shocking because I would not have seen that coming,t he time spent together today and the potential for possible growth to have something was and is definately there, I am very very surprised...." yadda yadda yadda he goes on and on about sharing the same desire "I can't help but think youa re making the wrong choice because I think that i am just right for you, but you don't get to see that"

He challenges her and won't let her speak and I want him to disappear. He wants to be given the opportunity to show her the man she is.

Commercial Break.... will she change her mind? OMG I hope not - - I can't take this she BETTER not let him stay!!

She sends him packing, he is basically kicking and screaming she made the wrong choice...

Back at the house:
The men still debate if he is staying or going. Chris thinks he is a salesman and she hasn't had enough time to realze he is selling bad goods. They comment on his cockiness, most seem to think she will see through him, some think he will sell himself well. One decides he will tell Emily the truth should Ryan return....

Then, Ryan's bag is taken away.... Ryan says the men must be shocked and he will see them soon because they formed great friendships, then we see the men dancing and cheering and hugging about hwo happy they are Ryan was sent home.

At Emily's room:

Arie pops by to visit and tell Emily she made the right choice in sending Ryan home. He had planned to go see her if he stayed, and if he goes... does it matter that Arie's "Baggage" I keep mentioning is that Arie dates the producer of the show cassie (who is Emily's confident and assistant and by her side the whole time) does it matter than Arie seems coached move by move, line by line? Does it matter that Chris Harrison tweeted Arie before this show like they were friends....

Emily gives him the rose to hide as a secret rose. They then make out on her bed. He is too smooth - I wish I didn't know about his "baggage"

Doug tries to make things better with Emily but comes across awkward and makes it slightly worse it seems. He really opened up to her.

John (finally) opens up to her and talks emotionally about his grandparents. Yet not why he is nicknamed "wolf" yes - I am dwelling on it - I want to know no I NEED to know why he is called "wolf"

Emily admits she isn't sure she is making right decisions but love is a risk....

Rose Ceremony:
-Chris already has a rose
-Ryan and Travis were already sent home

-Sean
-Jef
-Arie

With one rose left, I predict neither John or Doug get it because of previews when Emily said "I can't give out this rose"

As if on cue she walks out emotional with the last rose to talk to Chris Harrison. She admits she doesn't know what to do. She gives Chris the rose and she goes to talk to the men. She tells them she can't give out the final rose so we assume that Doug and John are going home.

Then Chris brings out TWO roses and she keeps them both!

No one goes home - WTF

Top 6 guys....... headed to Prague!

Preview for next week looks like:

john one on one, Arie one on one, Sean one on one, hard to tell there is a lot of kissing. Chris feeling depressed, worried and seriously in tears.

OMG OMG - they actually DO ADDRESS that Arie dates Cassie the producer, and they show her and Em talking - yessssss!!!!!!!!!! good!!!

What a night!

What did you think? Who is your fave? What are you most looking forward to next week?

Bachelorette - Ten Men in London

Tonight we went from ten men to eight, who made the cut? Let's recap....

Emily and Ricky enjoy London sight-seeing. I have to say, she has a sweet deal, taking her kid around the world... nice! Then men meet in London and head to their hotel May Fair.

"Sean, Love takes no prisoners"

The first one-on-one date was with Sean and they went sight-seeing in London, taking cute photos. I am loving the two of them together. Sean reminds Emily he is selective, and Emily agrees that good guys are hard to come by. She tells him he seems to be the full package, since he is good looking and also not boring. She seems smitten. As they walk they see these poets doing speakers corner and so he steps up and shouts about how he feels about love staring at Emily. He wooed her. You could see it in her eyes, she thinks he is a keeper... at least for now.

Later in the evening they have dinner in a castle / Tower of London. King Henry lived in this building and after a short tour they sit down in a candle lit room filled with armour and elegant decor sets a romantic mood for the two love birds. Emily sounds like she is losing her voice as she tells him about the room they are in being where Henry VIII locked up his wives, two of which he beheaded.

Emily is waiting for the bomb, Sean has been divorced? has 7 kids? but no bomb comes, only compliments about how much he enjoyed the day. She tells him he is humble but perfect. They talk about kids, she presses him to see how many he wants, he says two seems good but he is open minded, EMily says so three? four? She is clearly planning their whole entire life in that very moment.

Not shocking she gives him the rose, it feels like if she could, she'd marry him right there on the spot. Instead she settles for making out on the roof top.

Back at the house then men chat, Kalon says something along the lines of "everyday is a group date, you, her and Ricky" the men didn't like that answer, especially because Kalon himself grew up with a single mom. I sense drama coming soon.

The next date card arrives:

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet....." only Alejandro notices this is a Shakespeare quote... props to him for that!

And invited are:

Chris, Arie, Ryan, Doug, Alejandro, Travis, John, and Kalon

Jef gets the second one-on-one. Kalon is pissed, the others aren't happy, but not nearly as grumpy or bitchy about it.

Next up - the Group Date

Travis is up first and he is horrible. Everyone laughs. They are all horrible actually. The men all laugh at each other.

Emily admits she doesn't care about the acting, but the ability to have fun, be silly and not take it too seriously.

Alejandro, John, Ryan, Kalon, win mens roles, the worst actors, Arie and Doug play females.

They prepare briefly and are given the scene they will play.

Arie is beat red as the nurse, and this concerns Emily. Travis has a lot of fun with it. Kalon seems to take it very seriously (competitively) Ryan is his "stiffest competition" and Ryan is excited he gets to kiss Emily. Emily comes to check in and Kalon tells Emily to run along so they can rehearse.

After practicing, they find out it is almost show time and there will be a live audience. Nerves increase.

They get interesting Shakespeare costumes and wigs.

The play starts....

Balcony Scene: Kallon & Emily
He takes it quite seriously and is quite intense.

Doug is a hilarious nurse with John Wolf.

Alejandro and Travis were funny along with Chris.

Arie as a nurse with Emily was really unintentionally funny. He was so embarrassed, but he had every reason to be... it was really bad. He pulled it off though!

Ryan and Emily's scene was really bad and Emily looked not interested in kissing Ryan. It was a little peck and the men were clear to point out it was just an acting kiss. So, Ryan went back in for more.... the men weren't happy about that. Emily complimented his kissing - ew! I used to like Ryan, but he has been a bit sleazy lately (or the editing has made him so)

Off for some eats and drinks... and drama...

They all go to some kind of brewery or pub and Emily compliments their good spirit today for the acting. She has some one on one time with each of the men, first is Arie, who admits how tough today was for him. They are still playful and seem to connect, but the Arie baggage can't leave my brain, even as they make out on the picnic bench.

Next up is Ryan who closes the curtains to have privacy. She calls him "trouble" as she smiles which he interprets as a good thing. The men plan to interupt him anyways. Ryan says he has a surprise for her and he pulls out a necklace with a pendant on it which she really loves. I atill think he is sleazy, this gesture feels like a "must do" on his part.

Kalon is mad he hasn't had time to talk to her and he says something along the lines of waiting to talk to an exhausted, sick, mother with a child waiting on her... um.... obviously Chris gets upset again at this and he tells Arie who is also upset. Chris and Artie then somehow manage to sit with all the men except Kalon and they discuss it.

The men are pretty upset. Doug, a dad, confronts Kalon who says he did say "baggage" but didn't mean it as an insult, he meant it as "responsibility" and he won't take back what he said... Doug is pissed, if someone said that about his son he would be mad, so he feels he has to tell Emily.

Emily is so mad and ponders the most "lady like" way to handle this... she can't think of one... so she goes to confront him.

The scene is set, Doug has everyone sit down and Emily takes off her coat. Doug confronts the topic, Emily says "Do you have anything to say for yourself" Kalon kind of defends himself, but not really.... Emily cuts him off saying "I'd love to hear you talk, but not until I am done, I got that line from you" ha ha - go girl! She calls Ricky a blessing and asks if he can say anything he says no, she tells him to get the fuck out. He says he only dreamed his first child would be his own, Emily is hurt by that because she his MOM is a single mom and she says the whole conversation is so disappointing she will not have it. She walks away. She says the only solution was if he did not say it, but he did, the end, he is gone.

Emily is upset and worried she let Kalon get this far and also why no men told her sooner? Then men back peddal that they didn't want to say anything and wanted to let her find her way - she doesn't buy it, she expects respect and honesty and decides she won't hand out the rose tonight. I feel like Doug should have got it, he was the one who told her. Ah well! Sean and Jef surely have a leg up for avoiding this train wreck of a night.

One-on-one date time with Jef, but Emily is still in a foul mood from the group date. Jef is aware of what happened and wants to make sure Emily is doing ok.

They go for tea first and learn ettiquette first. This lady is absolutely annoying and Jef and EMily have NO TIME to talk because "JEAN" is teaching them how to hold cups, pour tea, eat snacks and yadda yadda yadda...........

Luckily Emily and Jef feel the same way and bolt.

They hit a pub and are way more relaxed and have time to chat and get to know each other. Jef takes this opportunity to tell Emily about what Kalon said and that he HAD stood up for her. Emily feels better but feels Jef is hard to read and is hoping to see that Jef is into her. Later in the evening they have dessert in the London Eye. They have a nice conversation and things seem to be going well. I still wonder because he comes across a bit young and they both seem cautious. Yet, somehow they got to the serious, what if life discussion and he seemed sincere and really... into it.

He of course gets the rose. They also share their first kiss by the water after he apologizes for not kissing her in Bermuda. Jef says Emily takes his breath away, he is truly in love, and now if he can figure out how to show her that, they could be ever lasting.

Cocktail Party
Travis and Emily chat and she asks how he would react to someone saying something bad about her. She says she would have his back and hopes he would too. Travis feels uncomfy and feels it is a pretty serious convo. John says he feels bad he didn't tell her about the Kalon thing. Arie tries to be supportive and listens to her talk about how the Kalon thing made her feel, he seems kind of dopey during the conversation he doesn't have the right answers. Emily is on a role and calling out everyone for not standing up for her. Arie is shaken. Ryan and Emily talk and he tries to have fun with her and make her laugh. Props to him for trying to lighten the mood by re-enacting the balcony scene from Romeo & Juliet and summarizing what it means, complimenting her. She is falling for him, despite the red flags he sent out early on - bad Emily! At least she is hip to the warnings. Sean wants to let Emily know that he is there for her. They have a nice talk and lets her know he will always be honest and he is one of the good guys! They kiss, I love them! He gives her butterflies in her heart.... gah!!! Adorabz!

Rose Ceremony:
Sean & Jef already have roses.
Kalon was already sent packing.

-Doug
-Ryan
-Chris
-John (HOW IS HE STILL AROUND? WHY IS HE CALLED WOLF? GAH!)
-Travis
-Arie

Good-bye to Alejandro, I was surprised he lasted this long, we barely saw anything from him, though what we did see was awesome. He is obviously an intelligent and charming man, but editing didn't show much sadly.

Next Week:
Kroatia...

Looks like a one on one with Ryan, Travis, Jef maybe, Some kissing with John, Arie, Chris, then of course drama, Jef and Arie talk about someone who is there for the "win" who are we talking about this time? Maybe Chris? Arie goes to Emily's room to tell her, after not telling her about Kalon...

Lot's more kissing in upcomgin weeks, Jef, Arie, Xhris still around it looks like. Ryan too, It is hard to say what is next week and what is future episodes. Sean, Trais, lot's of kissing - it is insane. She says she is falling in love with more than one person. Crying and tanned Emily ponders her decisions and I almost feel bad for her until they show her scuba diving and making out with more hotties.

Reality TV - Monday June 4

Bachelorette
Another night of dates, cocktail parties and a rose ceremony. There was sailing, tears, anger, roses and disappointment. Read my full recap here.

Hell's Kitchen
See the contestent roster and bios here.
See tonight's recap here.

Masterchef
The first episode was tonight and we saw the good, the bad and the ugly. I didn't do a recap, I usually don't until the group is established but some stand outs were the young 'gaysian' who made wontons and who's parents don't approve. Also the cocky unemployed guy. I also loved the blind woman and I wish the high schooler made it, but hope she returns next year. Another episode tomorrow and once we have our set chefs I shallbegin episode recaps.

Later this Week...

Love in the Wild, SYTYCD & More

Bachelorette - June 4

Another night of dates and drama...

They head to Bermuda. The guys roll up on mopeds. Hanging out inside, the guys rag on Doug because he is nervous for the date. Arie, in particular, pushes his buttons for entertainment and just as things are starting to get tense, in walks Emily.

Arie's diary room was hilarious " Doug is like the hulk, Doug is angry, Doug is sad " ha ha ha!!!

Doug gets the first one-on-one date. He also got the first impression rose the first episode. They go shopping and sample food and seem to be having a very normal date. They even create their own perfumes.

Emily thought Doug was always happy, he admited he has bad days and had been grumpy when she arrived. Doug told Emily what happened and how he "scolded" them. Then Emily and Doug wrote a postcard for Austin (Doug's son) since he had written a letter to Emily.

They went to the moongate and walked through together making wishes. Emily wished she wouldn't be single forever. ha ha Um, win, lose, or fail.... even if Bachelorette doesn't work that women will NOT ever be single - except by choice! She is beautiful, charming, funny, though probably too picky and a tad high maintainence.

For dinner they have a good tine. Emily compares her feelings to how she felt with Brad. She also fears he is too much like Brad. He admits he isn't perfect. Faults? Too much time with his son, that isn't a bad answer. She wants to know what would your ex gf say? She feels like Doug's answers are "too perfect" So Emily says she is sensitive, stubborn, I don't work out, I stay in PJs all day sometimes even while I run errands. She then realizes how uncomfortable it is being put on the spot. Needless to say, he gets the rose and although he wants to kiss Emily, he doesn't make the move because he was taught not to unless a woman tells him too... er... ok... the editing makes Emily look disappointed he didn't make a move.. who knows.

Back at the house the date card arrives.

Group date:

Charley
Chris
Ryan
Jef
Sean
Arie
Travis
Kallon

Leaves Alejandro and Jon, Micheal, Nate are left, two won't get a date, two will get a two-on-one where one will be sent packing.

Group Date starts with sailing. After a brief lesson the men are broken up into two teams to race for more time with Emily.

Jef & Charley have the major big sails to control on their respective teams... yellow vs red:

Yellow = Ryan, Jef, Arie, Kallon
Red = Charley, Sean, Travis, Chris

After a lot of near capsizing boats there are some injuries. Red seems to take the lead, yellow complains about lack of communication, more near flipped boats, yelling, intensity, yellow takes the lead, red goes into overload to try and win and cuts off yellow, but yellow somehow pulls ahead once more and wins. Red is disappointed and angry. It is revealed that Jef's finger was "ripped off at the first turn"

Red takes the walk of shame to head home, Yellow gets a wonderful evening where Ryan's ego starts to show... more. Besides calling Emily his trophy wife, and later with his one-on-one time he has a "talk with her" ha ha he claims he has a lot of depth and maturity but I don't see it... "I'm not her to impress you, but make an impression on you" she calls him out on his odd comments "I'll love you but I won't love on you" and "You ain't cheating you ain't trying" or "you best be getting your butt to the gym" she says "what id i got fat because i couldn't go to the gym because i was chasing you kids around" he continues his douchey-self-comments. Yup, I officially do not like him anymore. He then talks about why she was kissing Arie and that she is wasting her amazing opportunity. He kind of lectures her for kissing and implies she represents herself inappropriately. Appauling. He is just not nice.

Arie says all the right things (again, his "baggage haunts me, but I am starting to forgive all of that, he is so dreamy) I think he should be the next Bachelor if he doesn't win this (and I hope he doesn't) or at least Bachelor Pad! I much prefer Jef who is younger and really cute! They sit by the fire and seem to connect, though he didn't kiss her. Arie DID kiss her - a lot - back at the house in fact, the men were commenting on how Arie and Emily were kissing at the last trose ceremony...

The rose goes to Jef... it pays to withhold a kiss and leave her wanting more eh?

Fireworks explode, Jef wraps his arma round Emily, Arie is jealous and upset, Ryan thinks she did it to be "safe" wah wah wah....

John & Nate get the two-on-one date. We don't know why John is called wolf yet, so I hope we find out on the date then he goes home. Nate is cuter, but I feel I have unresolved issues with John (mainly - why is he called Wolf?!?!?!)

They go to these amazing caves for dinner, I think I'd rather swim in that beautiful water. It is awkward since there is a rose and one will be leaving... Emily takes Nate first for some one-on-one and they drink and chat sitting on a very uncomfy rock. Emily gives Nate the vibe of a sister or bestie NOT romantic... whichis too bad.

Then John and Emily have some time, which seems a little more sincere and less awkward than Nate and Emily.

She gives the rose to John and sends cutie Nate packing. She claims Nate is too "young"

Cocktail Party

Alejandro gets some time and Emily apologizes for not giving him some time yet.

Ryan is super cocky and is the only one to say he knows he is safe. The men discuss if he was to go home. Ryan and Emily talk and she says more b.s. that makes me roll my eyes... we get it... Ryan LOVES Ryan! Doug tells Arie to go interupt, Arie doesn't think Ryan is here for the right reasons and so he does go... Ryan thinks this is because he is such a threat...

Arie and Emily talk... Arie also thinks he is a threat to Ryan ha - oh boy! During Emily and Arie's talks he admits she feels comfy with him and they have a strong connection and thinks about him a lot. She is clearly smitten with him.

Ryan wants to be the next Bachelor and says if it doesn't work out he is meant for bigger things. he goes on talking about how he will use the show for bigger things, like the Bachelor next season. As he tells (long haired guy I forget his name) this I can't help but wonder WTF?!?! I hope Ryan leaves....

The men talk more and more and bad mouth each other.

Sean takes Emily for some chit chat and is very honest, open and sweet about how disappointed he was to not get some one-on-one time. Emiyl clearly feels the same way. She kisses him. It's sweet... they are adorable together. He seems much more sincere than Arie or Ryan. I like him!

Chris spends some one-on-one time with Emily and expresses his concerns. He is indeed only 25 but mature beyond his years, despite what some others may say (DOUG)

Chris decides to confront Doug on why he thinks he is a better man for Emily. The men gather to watch at the window.

In talking with host Chris, Emily says she thinks Doug is perfect, but whenever there is house drama or problems it is usually involving Doug or Ryan. She likes Jef a lot but twice has had one-on-one time and no kiss. Arie makes her giddy. Alejandro she isn't sure is ready for what she has to offer. Emily is hip to Ryan and the other side of him that is a bit manipulative. Emilyi s very candid and it's awesome to hear her true opinions and that she knows what's happening. Much nicer than past seasons.

Rose Ceremony:
Doug, Jef and John have roses.

-Sean
-Arie
-Travis
-Chris
-Ryan
-Kallon
-Alejandro

So we say good-bye to Charley (head injury) and Michael (long hair)

I am favouring: #1 - Sean #2 - Jef #3 - Arie #4 - Chris #5 - Doug
I do not like: #1 - Ryan #2 - Alejandro #4 - Kallon #5 - JOhn
Travis fits in between the dislike anbd like.

Next week they are off to London and we see some Sean one-on-one time and kissing, some Jef one-on-one time and it seems Ryan does a contest play so probably a group date. Then there will be more drama with Chris, Doug, Kallon and Ryan. Looks like it is the "Ricky is baggage" comment and Emily confronts him at cocktail party and tells him to get the fuck out - you go girl!

Thoughts? Faves?

Bachelorette - 13 Bachelors Remain

Here we go, another episode of Bachelorette. I know who goes home and I know the final three because I read spoilers from Reality Steve. Last season of the Bachelor was the first time I spoiled myself pre-season, and I have to say it made the viewing experience quite different. I liked it because i could watch the relationship (and the editing) grow and change over the season.

Anyways here is a recap of the episode and my opinions:

One-on-one date: Chris

Walking together in downtown Charolette. She thinks he is so cute and she is a bit nervous. I think Chris seems nice. Emily makes him "work for his dinner" and they have to scale the wall to the resturant. Emily freaks out because of the thunder, lightning and wind. As she screams abd hollers and a crowd watches them, Chris takes time to make sure she is ok.

At dinner, Emily confesses she wouldn't be able to talk to him if she saw him on the street because he is too cute. Chris is regretting not kissing her when they got to the top of the building, he high fived her instead. Emily starts with her crazy intense questions about his first relationship. Emily started to feel uncertain when she was reminded Chris is only 25. Chris begins defending his age and maturity saying he grew up quickly.

Emily is convinced and despite always dating older guys she feels he is mature enough to be let in and decides to follow her heart and she gives Chris the rose. They then head to see a country music concert in the street, Luke Bryan. I love the song "Girl you make my speakers go boom boom" (Drunk on You) then it slows down "Do I" which is a song that just makes me bawl - such a romantic date!

Back at the house Tony is talking to his son back in Beaverton Oregon and the mood is set that he may leave to return to his son... his not-so-internal debate begins.

Date Card comes for:

Charlie
Alejandro
Stevie
Ryan
Alessandro
Sean
John
Michael
Doug
Jef
Tony
Travis

"Let's Play"

They go to the park and the group date begins. Emily goes to grab her friends who will drill the men. They need to find out who will be the best husband and dad... yea, I would be scared if I were one of the men!!!

Here are some highlights from the session:

Things in Common?
Tony - taking kids to activities

Dated someone with a child?
Jef - yes my ex had two, an you see me with Emily?
Doug - I am a dad, I don't think a lot of non parents get it
Ryan - absolutely
head injury guy - absolutely

They can't quite figure out or like egg guy, telling him, "It's disgusting, did you fertilize it yourself?"

They also ask
Worst quality about yourself?
Have you ever cheated on a girl don't lie?
If you took her on a date tonight what would you do?

Then come the tricks, Stevie dances, so they then make others dance, get Ryan to do pushups, dance with them, and finally oogle all over Sean's sexy body!

Understandably!

He is faith based, built, compliments his parents on teaching him how to parent. The one friend Wendy goes on and on and on with Sean, asking him his super hero power, telling him how he would look good in spandex, making him take his shirt off and do pushups while she sits on him - hilare!

Emily tells the boys to put their money where their mouth is about being good with kids, she blows a whistle and kids start stampeding and scareming and running towards them! OMG!

The men seemed to do well, but it was a one time session, not truly telling of their "parenting skills"

Sean was sweet, Jef was playful, Ryan left to go get some time with Emily... but makes a fat comment about how "letting yourself go" after they were married was a problem "I will still love you I juat may not love on you as much, even if there was more of you to love" wait what?

Sean, Sean or Ryan, Sean or Doug were the girlfriends picks....

At dinner, Emily gets some one on one time with some of the men starting with the "top two" according to her friends: Sean and Doug!

She tells Sean how he made a great impression with her friends. Sean holds her hand and tells her that he enjoyed the kids and her friends. They talk about how Sean is "picky" or "selective" and how he hasn't dated in over a year. He likes confidence and is looking for a family. He talks well about his parents who still go on date nights and he comes across like a great catch. I am loving him! He is cute and sweet!

Doug talks about how her friends remind him of his buddies wives. Emily wants to get to know more about Doug besides just being a dad. Doug talks about his father who had epilepsy and his mom, who left him. His dad later died, he didn't go to the doctor because he didn't want to spend grocery money on doctors bills.... but then he and his sister were in foster care.

Tony starts missing his son again, especially after spending time with the kids today. Tony admits how he is feeling, Emily having been through it relates and reassures him. She hopes he continues.

She continues to enjoy her time with the men, Tony continues to weigh on his situation missing his son. Doug, also a father, discuss and Tony admits he is thinking of going home. Doug is really encouraging him to stay and put things in perspective. He calls his son - on speaker phone - and gets emotional again. Call me cold-hearted but I wonder if he has custody or how often he sees his son usually anyways? I wonder how much of this is dramatic purposes, not that I doubt his love for his son, but his kid sounded quite content with daddy being away and calling to chat... I don't know! "I miss you, Do you miss me too?" again, not that his kid doesn't miss him, but I feel like it is being very blown up for dramatic television. Regardless, he goes home, the end.

Back to the men, there is still a rose to give out and after Emily explains that Tony left (egg guy was nodding and being annoying) and gives out the rose to.... Sean! He is my new fave! Love him! I still like Chris, and Doug has grown on me too. I do like Arie, despite his baggae rumours... heh! I will get to that in a minute!

I still don't like egg man, Stevie, Allessandro, Alejandro and Ryan pissed me off a bit with his "don't get fat" comment!

Back at the house the men get the next date card. Kalon, Arie and .. are hoping for a one-on-one. Chris reads the card and Arie is the lucky man! He makes some zinger about being a racecar driver and used to going fast, but things have been going slow with Emily... ha! He is adorably cute, but after reading all his "baggage" online, (dated producer, on show for fame, cheated, slept with business partner's girlfriend, etc etc - go read Reality Steve for details) It makes me wonder if he is there for the right reasons.... meh, he is adorable, cute, and swoon-worthy! I enjoy him on my tv screen and will choose to forget his rumours for now ;)

Pigeon Forge TN. is their destination. Limo, private plane, Dollywood. Dolly Parton has an amusement park and they spend the day there. It is Emily's "Happiest Place on Earth" and Arie tries to win something cute for Ricky. They go on a rollercoaster, Emily's first time and she is freaking out and holding Arie's hand... ha ha She looks like she is going to be sick but Arie loves it. Finally tey go into the theatre to write a long song and perform but as they are doing so Dolly Parton appears and Emily almost loses her mind! Dolly performs for them! They dance, rather awkwardly, Emily keeps saing she could die and this is the best moment of her life. Dolly takes her for some girl talk and Emily is dying!

At dinner Arie talks about his ex and her kids and his past a bit then diverts the conversation back to her, she then brings it back to him and they talk a lot about Ricky and life. She likes her space and would welcome his busy schedule as long as she always knew he was thinking of her even while away. Now my mind is thinking about all the girls he may meet and screw around with on his tours.... damn you Reality Steve for messing with Arie's perfect image... or damn you Arie for not being as perfect as you appear on tv. (Helps when you dated one of the producers, the one that is Emily's right-hand-woman during taping) annnnyways...

Best part was when Emily tried to trick Arie into thinking he wasnt getting the rose and was being sent home - I almost peed, I wish she had taken it a bit further - chicken! She gives him the rose and apologizes for trying to trick him.

End of the night is on a carousel ride kissing... making out... I kept thinkibg Dolly Parton would ride in on one of those painted horses ha ha ha, no, just her music playing in the background!

Ricky helps her momma get ready for the cocktail party and rose ceremony. I have to say for a single mom who has been through so much, she lives in a freakin' mansion! For a single mom she sure lives the good life!!!

Kallon looks nervous, he didn't get a date. He also is wearing weird glasses and has greasy hair and has obviously become the villian of the season.

Emily expresses that she has developed a few crushes this week and that the relationships have grown. She compliments his glasses. Kallon starts with "Thanks to you I had a lot of time around the house tonight" she tries to talk to him and he says a lot that really comes across condesending and almost rude! He admits he thought his first child would be his own and embracing Ricky as his first child isn't how he planned it. She brings up Kallon's mom and what if her true love had said that about him. Kallon then says that he loves hearing her opinion but he wishes she would let him finish - wow! RUDE!! Emily picke dup and commented on it in diary room!

Travis - egg guy sits with Emily and Emily's friends told him to lose the egg, so "if you love something set it free" and they together toss/break/smash the egg. Unfortunately it wasn't as dramatic as the previews made it seem.... they laughed, said a few words and that was that.

The men toasted to "Shelly" which was apparently the eggs name.

Next, Emily sits with Allesandro, finally we get to hear him talk... he hasn't even been on the show, I don't know how or why he is still here even? They identify they don't know each other well and so, logically, Emily asks how he would be as a dad... he admits he has no experience with kids but insists it will come and she can teach him. He is willing to compromise that part of his life and change to be a dad. Clearly this isn't sitting well with Emily. "Compromise" is the word that seems to bug her, understandably. Essentially calling Ricky a compromise doesn't fly, it should be an honour and privilege. He continues to dig a hole deeper. Of course he will go home tonight! Though, as I said, I have no idea why he is still there?!!

Oh and after commercial break, no waiting for rose ceremony, Allesandro is sent packing! No surprise! The men also mention that Alessandro told Emily's friends he cheated on a girlfriend and had a one night stand - wowwee! Ya, peace out!

Side note - what the hell kind of shoes/boots is Emily wearing with that beautiful gold sparkly dress?

Arie and her have a conversation and he reassures her with his sweet nothings and hugs. Producer allowing him some one on one coaching? GAH! I am sorry, I can't get the "baggage" out of my mind!

The men see them making out and aren't impressed.

Emily and Sean get some one on one time and Sean admits he misses Emily. He wouldn't wait two days to talk to a girl after such a great date they had. He is so sweet! I love him!

I would love Arie if I didn't know his "baggage"

but those two are in the lead for me!

Sean talks about his dad teaching him and showing him hwo to be the best father and that he could easily step in and be a step father to Ricky. he says if they were married Ricky would be his daughter. Emily's heart melts on screen and they share a kiss also.

*ting ting* on the glass - Rose Ceremony Time!

Rose Ceremony
Already Left: Tony, Alessandro
Already Safe: Chris, Sean, Arie
One more will be sent home.

Roses go to:
-Jef - Quirky, I still am intrigued by him!
-Charlie - head injury guy, why can't i remember his name ever?
-Doug - another fave! So sweet, from Seattle, a dad!
-Michael - I forgot about him, we never see him on any episodes
-Travis - the egg cracking kept him... for now.
-Alejandro - he spoke briefly this episode
-Ryan - pretty to look at but he better smarten up that mouth!
-John / Wolf - I NEED TO KNOW WHY HE IS CALLED WOLF, then send him packing
-Kallon - survives, of course, there has to be more drama to come from this one!
-Nate - sucha cutie! but we know nothing about him!

DJ Stevie goes home. Funny, this was the first episode I thought he looked really good! I am surprised he lasted this long though, a single mom does NOT need a dj/emcee party dancers as a husband/father figure.

Ryan is upset over seeing Arie and Emily kissing. The usual "he is nothing like me how can she like us both" comments come out...

Next Week:

Bermuda, cliff diving, yahts, fireworks, more kissing Arie, Jef and Emily alone time, boat races, an injury, some male drama with Chris and Doug, Ryan confronts Em about Arie and her making out and he and Arie have some drama, dum dum dummmmmm

at this point my picks are:

-Sean
-Arie (despite baggage)
-Chris
-Doug
-Jef
-Ryan

The credits show the friends talking with Alessandro, ha ha a good idea sending him home!! He talks about a long relationship with his cousin who got married and he still thinks of her, admits he is a gyspy and can't even get a pet, and that he has cheated on a girl.... ha ha - wow!

So now we are down to 13 men.... some need to go last week, others will be interesting to watch duke it out for Emily's heart... I have my faves, how about you?

Bachelorette - ReCap

Bachelorette, as much as I don't want to committ, I always do.... EMily needs love... I want to watch her maybe find it.. Here is my summary from tonight

The first date card arrives:

"Ryan, Be my King in the Queen City - Emily"

I do like Ryan, he is good looking and seems sweet.

Their first date is baking cookies at her house. Interesting. I do like the idea of having REAL LIFE dates, maybe Emily really will find REAL love?

Back at the house the men are discussing when someone will meet Ricky, her daughter. THey all agree it wouldn't be until near the end.

True to that, Emily drops off snacks and leaves Ryan in the car. She jokes the next part of their date is Chuck E Cheese. ha! Luckily they go on a real date.

There is a huge crowd outside their restaurant and they have a good dinner with some tough questions. Emily says in private that he reminds her of Brad, good looking, too perfect. In the end she gives him the rose. I think he has potential.

Group Date Card Arrives:
Alejandro
Nate
Allessandro
Tony
Michael
John "wolf"
Jef
Charlie
Kyle
Chris
Aaron
Stevie
Kallon

"let's set the stage for love"

What a huge group! Most of the men are not overly thrilled with the idea of performing, but it is for charity and the Muppets are there, so it is fun. Charlie is having anxiety of doing stand up comedy and confronts Emily about his speech problems and insecurities surrounding his disabilities. Emily was completely understanding and he offered to dance or do something different.

The show was hilarious. YouTube it if you missed it. The men dancing, Miss Piggy stealing the spotlight, comedy and more. The first group of men danced ROUND Emily. THe next group did some very bad comedy with Fozzy Bear. Miss Pigy did a "Chelsea Lately" style interview with some of the men. Charlie was one of them. He was nervous! Aaron had to make up a poem, Jef had to propose on the spot to Miss Piggy, and poor Charlie was sweating bullets and Miss Piggy asked what he would do to impress a girl. He handled it well and was very honest and sweet. PHEW!

Emily and Kermie the frog flirted and then Miss Piggy interupted ha ha! Ricky came up on stage with her momma and helped wrap up the show.

In the end it was all about Charity and they raised a lot of money for a good cause. $20k - impressive!

After they go to dinner.

Emily tells Chris he is extremely good looking but not a "look at me" kind of guy.
Emily tells Jef that she had a hard time finding him today and has a hard time reading him and getting his attention.
Emily dances with one of the men, Stevie maybe, though his hat was off.
Charlie spies them and goes back to tell the men who all go to watch and make fun of the dancing pair. Kallon finds it immature to spy and criticizes the men. He then goes to interupt the dancing pair and chat with Emily. Almost immediately Aaron comes in and Kallon asks for 2minutes, Aaron refuses and Emily feels uncomfy so Kalon takes the high road and says "enjoy your conversation he is a good guy"
Kalon returns and reports what happened, then Stevie says he wanted 5 more minutes and Kalon interupted (aka "karma is a bitch") and they argue.

Emily returns and gives the rose to Jef, much to Chris' shock.

Back at the house a date card arrives:

"Joe, come close to my heart, Emily"

The hair bugs me with Joe... and there are other awesome guys who I would have prefered see spend one on one time with Emily.

Joe and Emily take a small plane (and without any monologue on how hard it is to fly after losing her ex) to West Virginia, her home town. They stay at Green Briar resort where Emily went as a child. THey have a nice date, but I findhim boring and awkward. He answered her questions with questions, I just didn't feel it, I thought Emily was feeling it, she was in tears, but it was because she wasn't letting him stay. Good choice.

Back at the house Kalon tells whats his name (dad) that he put being a dad on hold for this show, which could be interpreted as Emily putting being a mom on hold when she was the show with Brad. Needless to say, it doesn't go over well with most of the men and causes more tension between Kalon and the house.

Cocktail Party

Emily addresses the group and then the one-on-one brief convo's begin... Arie and Emily talk a lot about his hometown and what they like to do in their spare time.

Next up Ryan is alone with Emily, the men are upset because he has a rose and doesn't need time with her tonight. Tony comes in to interupt and witnesses Ryan giving her a gift...a letter... a novel.. she reads it outloud as Tony stands there... waiting... awkward!

Tony gets his time, talks about his 5 year old son and they seem to really connect as single parents.

Rose Ceremony
-Ryan & Jef have roses already

-Kalon - drama to come I am sure
-Arie - still intriguing
-Michael - still don't dig the long hair but in a pony it was kinda sexy
-Nate - still cute
-Sean - not too much from him this episode
-Chris - it wasn't the date rose, but he happily took it
-Doug - the dad I mentioned earlier but couldn't recall his name
-Travis - wasn't on this show much either, is it editing or what?
-Tony - as worries as he was, the convo they had helped
-John "wolf" - Still don't know why he is "wolf" I want to know then send him packing
-Alessandro - he wasn't seen much this episode either
-Charlie - he is adorable
-Alejandro - don't hear much from him
-Stevie - really? I don't see it!

I was glad to see Kyle (also from Long Beach) go, he didn't stand out to me one bit, but I was shocked Aaron went home, he is a bit older, his goofy glasses are a bit hipster, but he is a teacher and damn sexy. I'd date Aaron, he is from Long Island and a biology teacher, hot!

Next week: Arie one on one date? Dolly Parton surprises Emily, CHris gets a one on one and they have to rock climb the side of a building. Sean seems to get some more screen time, Alessandro speaks, someone thinks about leaving and "parenting" is discussed... in other words, as always it will be "the most exciting episode ever" ha ha

At this point I am rooting for: Jef, Ryan, Chris, Arie, Sean, hmmm....

Who are you favourites?

Bachelorette Season Premiere

Premiere of Bachelorette - Emily - was tonight.... I already posted the bio's of all the men here, but below I give more impressions/thoughts on the men based on tonight's episode. There are spoilers so click to read more if you have seen or don't care about being spoiled. Please comment below with your thoughts :)

We had some background info on a few men, then their arrivals and finally their interactions at the cocktail party... Here we go:

Background Clips:

Helicopter Kalon "young fun good looking guy with a few dollars in my pocket" he seems egotistical an admited past "womanizer" Saying you are more "down to earth" now doesn't make it real. But the money is attractive.

Ryan is cute, he works with kids, I think he seems sweet, the petting a dog by the waterfall sold me.

Tony is from Beaverton which is where my girl @steeners41 is from. He is a daddy to a 5 year old, which made me love him even more.

Lerone has a yuppie dog in LA and does Real Estate. Although he seems fit and kind, he seems a tad bland.

David in the singer/songwriter from NYC. I don't see him as being Emily's type - not that I know her personally, but she is NOT big city and based on the singing we heard - he isn't going to be a successful singer/songwriter - just saying!

Charlie is from Nashville, I dfeel like southerners will have an advantage with Emily. He has experienced tragedy via an accident that left him with major injuries and I feel like he has some depth that may be good for Emily if given the chance to get to know him

Jef from Utah doesn't look like a Utah boy! Strange hair, a CEO for bottled water with charity connections, he is tough to read, more than meets the eye. I want to know more about him.

Arie, the racecar driver. He is pretty. He is a racer, much like Emily's ex who died in a plane crash to a race. You know he will stick around, if only for the ongoing "racecare connection and memories" / drama of the show. Still, his eyes are worth keeping him around a while ;)

Arrivals:

Beautiful Blonde Sean is first out and has a stunning smile.

David is 2nd out He asks if she chose Charolette. Meh, still not a fan of his singer/song writing

Doug is from Seattle - I always have a soft spot for Pacific North West. He has an 11 year old - another gold star in my book.

Jackson has a pink tie, he gets on one knee and rants some sweet quote, a tad over board in my books.

Joe looks like someone from a past season, he is a little too energetic dancing around and shouting.

Arie comes out looking stunning and it may be editing or actual chemistry but I felt it with those two....

Kyle was nice but a bit awkward in my book, maybe he truly was in "awe" over her beauty and lost for words?

Chris also reminds me of a past contestant. Maybe they all kind of look the same after so many seasons. He seemed sincere and sweet though, lot's of "blessed" and "prayers"

Aaron had giant goofy glasses on. He used a cheesey pick up line, I really had a good feeling based on his bio but didn't feel his initial greeting.

Alessandro is fronm Brazil, he was a bit strange, fast talking, maybe nervous.

Jef rides up on his skateboard, he really is cute. genuine. I kind of like him.

Lerone, same feeling, a bit bland, though sweet.

Stevie walks up dancing with a ghetotblaster (do they still call them that?) I think he may do better on Jersey Shore... just saying.

Charlie... something about him I like.

Tony while I love that he is from Oregon, the glass slipper was a bit weird. I get they have to do something to stand out but cheesey is annoying.

Grandma outfit was funny, Randy gets points for being creative, but I still don't like him.

Nate is just so darn cute, Emily says he smells good, I like him.

Brent wears a name tag, doesn't try too hard, cool.

John "WOLF" I want to know why they call him wolf....

Egg holding Travis a lil' odd

Long haired Michael I don't like long hair usually, he has a cute face, he seems sweet - we shall see.

Jean-Paul, from Seattle (so he gets some points) but his eyebrows creep me out a bit.

Alejandro is a muchroom farmer, what else can we say. I liked Emily's attempt at Spanish.

Then came Ryan, who I liked in the clip at the start. He is cute, sweet, I liked his little sign.

Kalon rolls up in his helicopter. "golly" she says when he arrives. impressive indeed. He is cute, and though I would never say "marry for money" he is good looking and I'd give him a shot ha ha, his self-awareness of how douchey he has been is a good move in the right direction, but I am not so foolish to believe men change that quickly - the other men already hate him - will make good drama but probably not last.

Interactions:

When she entered and they all clapped and hooted at her I felt so awkward for her... I can't imagine! ha!

I love her accent and mannerisms, she is so sweet! I think this will be a great season....

Charlie tells Emily about his Titanium face joking around with her.

Brent jokes about having a ton of kids. or was it a joke?

Emily gets pulled around from side to side by 25 different men, she seems to love it.

Chris is obviously smitten by her, he has bobble heads of himself and her. a little creepy. Emily seems to like him, calls him 'super hot' and they play bobblehead-barbies ha!

Egg man Travis is the butt of the men's jokes, as is helicopter man.

Jef hopes Emily isn't into material things. Lucky for him, she deffo is not. During their talking time they seem to hit it off. Emily likes his 'cool vibe' and says he makes her feel like a 'nerd' - always a good sign! "he's super cool, and I hope he thinks I am cool too" awnnn

Doug makes the single parent connection. I think that is sweet, I think there is a fine line between connecting on that level and obsessing. Not saying he is, but getting his son to write a letter is a bit ... awkward .. I don't know, as a mom it just seems a bit much non?

Men argue - Stevie is mad at helicopter man. Arie decides to admit his career to her (for dramatic purposes?)

Emily gives Doug the first impression rose. The kid letter must've sold her... *shrugs* I think it was not really appropriate, but whatever.

Rose Ceremony:

Safe:
-Doug from 1st impression rose
-Chris - not shocked, something about him works
-Ryan - In my bio post he was "RON" oops, I thought he looked jacke dup, but on the show, so far, I really like his build, hot!
-Kalon - helicopter man gets to stay for now ha ha the men are NOT happy!
-Arie - no brainer, his career keeps him interesting, his eyes make him appealing, interested to learn more
-Charlie - I like him!
-Jef - intriguing, quirky, I want to get to know him more too!
-Nate - cute, reminds me of an old flame... momma likey
-Sean - another cutie patutie, good work Emily, keep the eye candy coming!
-Joe - the hair ugh!
-Kyle - meh
-Aaron - meh he is cute
-Alejandro -
-John - who? oh wolf
-Alessandro - really?
-Michael - fine, I don't like the hair, but he is sweet and cute otherwise
-Stevie - this is a shocker, I don't like him for her at all!
-Tony - awkward
-Travis - he was relieved, still holding his egg

So good-bye:

-Lerone
-Granny Randy
-pink tie Jackson
-Jean-Paul and his eyebrows
-6 kids Brent, I guess he really DOES have 6 kids! woah!
-David the musician

This Season:

They travel, big surprise. Ricky comes along, not shocked, she kisses cute boys, of course, Jef, blondie, ryan, joe, jef, arie, playing with Ricky in all the cities, lucky girl travelling with momma. Then comes the drama... looks like Kalon is the one under attack, though it could be Ryan.... not sure... but Emily swears ans cries, then all the men cry, and Ricky/kids become the focus... Dolly Parton, dancing, kidding, a carnival, more travel. Are we expecting any surprises? Of course!!!

What do you think?

I have read Reality Steve Spoilers so I know the final 3 men... *IF* I didn't I would say my picks based on "photo/age/job" only would be:

Arie - He is a race car driver, like Emily's ex and "true love" plus he is so pretty!
Nate, Sean, Chris, Aaron, Travis are all good looking. I like that Aaron is a teacher, though older than the other guys. Travis is hot! So is Sean! Yummy! Chris has a look I like, though not conventionally hot like Travis and Sean. Nate is more pretty boy - gah - they are all delicious to look at HA!

Jef (one f) has weird hair, but is otherwise cute.

Stevie, a party MC? Emily has a daughter and I don't think she would be into that... just saying.
Ron looks to jacked up

I don't like the long hair Michael, Joe, Alessadra or even Randy. I also don't like the no hair of Lerone.

I can't wait to see their personalities, at which time I will re-rank/comment..... though it is based on the editing of each person - but whatever!

I can't wait to watch this season!
