NEW PHOTOS - Bella's House decorated for Christmas

Today my twi-twit-buddy @depechemama popped by Bella's house and got some fantastic shots of the Christmas decor at Bella's House... how exciting!

At first I thought maybe they were using the house for another production (as they did after New Moon) but then I remembered that Bill Condon sent us that wonderful interior set photo of Christmas from Breaking Dawn and now I am fairly sure it is for Breaking Dawn.

With Baton Rouge filming wrapping recently and Bella's house completely up and decorated, it seems certain the cast and crew will arrive as planned in upcoming days.

This is exciting for local fans.

I won't be able to go to sets as often as I did during New Moon, but like Eclipse I will go out when I can and when I can't I will have friends pop by and share photos and stories of what is going on.

Bookmark http://www.mandysmind.com/ and check back often in upcoming weeks for all the Vancouver Breaking Dawn News, Photos and Set Reports.

Breaking Dawn Filming Update

This is not the first time Breaking Dawn has filmed in Arsenal Park but it seems they are back at the location to film a big scene.

TwiFans posted:

New set pics, along with news of what cast has and has not arrived in Baton Rogue make it seem like Kristen and Rob are shooting their big wedding scene!
The massive outdoor set and green screen in Baton Rogue’s Arsenal Park seemed like a perfect fit for Breaking Dawn’s epic final fight, but it seems like it may in fact be for something entirely different — Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s wedding scene!

Seeing as Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen were spotted in Baton Rogue all last month, it is safe to assume the final scene has finished filming. It would not take that long to film and as the scene takes place only in the Cullen’s yard there would be no need to use another location.

Sealing the deal however is the fact that actor Michael Welch (Bella’s friend Mike Newton) tweeted,”I’m off to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to work on a new film called Baking Nan.. wait, that’s not it- It’s called Raking Lawns.. No, hold on…”

As fans know Mike is present in only one Breaking Dawn scene — Edward and Bella’s wedding. It COULD be a different set than Arsenal Park — some have suggested they could just be doing promotional shots — but that seems ideal for Edward and Bella’s nuptials!

THOUGHTS?

Furthermore - tweets like these lead to "wedding" idea as well...

Breaking Dawn Filming information

Twifans posted this bit of info regarding Breaking Dawn Filming:

As you already know, the last chapter of the Twilight saga: Breaking Dawn

is being filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The cast is expected to move to

Vancouver, Canada in February to end with the shooting of both movies

(Breaking Dawn part I & Breaking Dawn part II).

Yes, they’re filming BD part I and part II at the same time.

“They shoot the battle, then it’s the end, then another love scene.

And that’s how it goes. Part I, part II. Part I, part II. Only interiors, though” Says our On-Set source.

We’re guessing they’re shooting both films at the same time to avoid

any kind of problems with their ages/look. But our source says

“It’s also a post-production matter. It’ll be easier for them to edit

the whole thing at the same time “

About the cast: “They’re having a great time on set.

They’re not only working, but having fun with friends. Lots

of private parties, movies and jokes. “

“It’s like a huge family. Robert walks on set like

‘Where’s my daughter?’ (referring to Mackenzie). He’s really funny”

Via @NessieMackenzie

We did know that they were filming both, this was proven when we got reports of specific scenes from the end of the novel being shot and of course when Kristen Stewart claimed she had been a vampire the morning of the People's Choice Awards.

Very excited for them to come to Vancouver!

Back to Work on Breaking Dawn

According to cast tweets there were some "big" scenes that involved fake snow... thoughts?

Some believe the battle/encounter while others are saying flashbacks and flash forwards (predictions etc) The easiest way to "test" this of course is to consider which cast is in town, what they tweet and then compare to scenes from the books.

I know they only have a few more weeks in Baton Rouge so I wonder which scenes they have lined up? More importantly which scenes will be filmed here in Vancouver?

Very exciting!

After a break for the holidays the cast headed back to Baton Rouge for filming. Many were photographed at airports heading back to work.

Dakota Fanning at airport

Kellan Lutz plays shy at the airport

Ashley Greene at airport

Ashley Greene & Joe Jonas at hotel near Disney WOrld over the break

During the break they were spotted all over by fans.

Nikki Reed with fans skiing in Montana during the break

Joe Jonas, Ashley Greene and friends at a NYE Party

Rob & Kristen with a fan on Isle of Wight where they celebrated NYE

Fans in Baton Rouge pose with Dakota Fanning at local store

And now back in Louisiana, some fans have bumped into cast out and about:

I am excited that we will get two more movies out of these Saga, but the wait is killing me... at least New Moon and Eclipse was fairly quick, this two parter dragging on and on is making me impatient... just me?

Didn't think so!

Book Store Sighting of Twilight Cast in Baton ROuge

Battleship wraps in Baton ROuge

Very Cool - Robert Pattinson at the same party as Alex Skarsgård - - mmm vamp dreams.... They were filming at the same studio and Rob is friends with director of Battleship, Peter Berg, so it isn't shocking he attended. I remember seeing the battleship being built when I was there in October. So CooL!

Breaking Dawn Cast Dinner in Baton Rouge

E Online:

The Breaking Dawn cast got some much deserved free time out in Baton Rouge, La., recently, hitting up Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar.

"It was a lot of the cast and crew," a source who was also at the restaurant confirms to E!. "They were in the private back room and seemed in great spirits. Everyone had a really great time."

This obviously included Robert and Kristen, who make no effort to hide their relaysh these days.

Here's the PDA scoop!

"They were sitting down and talking together most of the dinner," dishes our insider who snooped at what was taking place in the private digs. "Wherever Kristen was, he was, and visa-versa."

"[Rob and Kristen] were holding hands at some point, and when they got up to mingle with everyone for a bit he kept his hand on her back," adds the source. "They were really cute. And no one in attendance seemed surprised at their affection."

Jeez, maybe that's because Robsten was so on the moment they first met while making on out Catherine Hardwicke's bed!

With each movie the couple has become increasingly more public with their romance, aside from blabbing about it in the media of course.

And since we have been lucky enough to witness such cuddlefests before, we're sure this dinner was no different.

Love it, or love it?

Update on Breaking Dawn Filming

Puzzle pieces come together through all the technology and communication. Twitter is especially telling... yay for the internet.

I am grateful also to the people who send me updates since I can not be in Louisiana myself.

This week had some filming in Baton Rouge after some weekend shots in New Orleans.

My friend went to Arsenal Park in Baton Rouge the other day to see filming (non-Edward/Bella shots) and I am awaiting some photos of that.

Additionally I am told Kristen & Rob had a couple days off this week (maybe since she shot over the weekend? also scheduled scenes without them as we know there were volturi in town)

Seems yesterday they did some shots with Kristen being ill....

Also this week there were some shots of the Happy family; Renesme, Edward and Bella together sharing family moments...

This is all so exciting...

I hope to have photos for you next week from Louisiana as well as some local stuff if I have time over the weekend

More Breaking Dawn Updates

Today and possibly tomorrow, they are filming without "Bella" and "Edward" in Baton Rouge.

I have a friend going by the set to take photos, which I will share with you here once I get them in my inbox.

I did post earlier that they filmed this weekend. The scenes involved J. Jenks & Bella Cullen meeting to get documents in order.

I also got some awesome local Breaking Dawn news that I am going to follow up on. I hope to bring you some updates (and photos) on that soon.

I am getting really excited again... I love hearing about filming, even though it is not in Vancouver as much as before, it is still awesome to hear (and see) what is going on with filming in Louisiana.

Stay Tuned in upcoming weeks for more updates. I will post them as I get them.

Cheers,
Mandy

Breaking Dawn Scene filmed over the weekend

I think the Jenks character is unneccessary in Breaking Dawn.... and I kind of hoped they'd take it out of movie completely- - just me?

My one issue with BD was always that they build up this whole fight, potential loss of lives, etc. then.... "oh, there are other half vampires, oh, ok"

Anyways, there are reports that the scene where Bella gets I.D and documents from Jenks was filmed over the weekend at a NOLA Resturant.

This is in fact true...

but there are some things that should be clarified...

TwiFans posts:

A fan posted on facebook that Kristen Stewart (Bella) was seen filming in a restaurant in New Orleans for a Breaking Dawn scene between Bella & J. Jenks. Remember this is NOT confirmed. Take it with a gran of salt.

I did confirm from reliable sources that this scene was filmed, however, I am told the resturant used was in fact Domenica and not other popular New Orleans Resturants previously speculated.

Here are photos from Domenica:

Mandy's Mind - I still don't think this subplot is neccessary to the movie, but it was in the book so here you go - - - filmed for the movie over the weekend in New Orleans... exciting non?

We still do not know who was cast as J. Jenks.

Twilight Lexicon narrowed it down to one of these two guys:

-Ty Olsson
-Wendell Pierce

Both look like they could do the part. Ty has that suspicious look, while Wendell has more of that paper-pusher look. In my opinion either would be pretty good thoughts?

I love that this is at KONA GRILL in Baton Rouge where I went through while visiting in October. Man, oh, Man, I was in all the right places, just a few weeks to soon eh?

More on Breaking Dawn Script

Well she doesn't like Twilight much, but she sure gets the inside scoop on everything awesome.... Here is some more updates from Lainey Gossip based on the Breaking Dawn Intell she has.

Love her or Hate her - I don't care (and neither does she) - - - SHE ALWAYS has the goods!!

Lainey Gossip writes:

Warning: spoilers.

Bella gives birth to the baby with the dumb name. She dies. As in she’s done with her human form and the vampire juice starts working but on the outside she looks like a corpse. Everyone is sad. Jacob is sad. He goes off and spends some sad time on his own. Then he comes back because he has to kill the thing with the stupid name. As soon as he lays eyes on her, the rest of the world disappears. It’s a tunnel linking them together. And he sees her grow, he sees her future – she’s 2, 4, she’s 6, she’s 10, she’s a teenager, and then she’s a woman, and this is when he knows he’s in love. It actually reads very well and not as lame and creepy as it does in the book; a very strong scene, if allowed to unravel the way it does on the page.

While all this is happening, Edward is inconsolable over Bella. Then he hears Jacob’s thoughts, realises Jacob has, um, imprinted on his newborn daughter. So they throw down and Edward wails on Jacob and Jacob has to eat it because he’s all weak and fragile from the imprint process.

Then the vampire juices start working inside Bella. Move into her consciousness, excruciating pain, internal turmoil, then move out, quick transition, to her eyes, they open, RED. End. Credits. Then after the credits there’s a scene with the Volturi and Aro finding out that she was turned and then he’s all like – I want that bitch. Real end part 1.

Lautner has yet to shoot these scenes as right now this week in Louisiana, only Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are required. They are filming honeymoon interiors. He’s feeling badly about her bruises, and she’s locked in the bathroom, then he realises she’s sick, and then they both realise she’s pregnant.

More details to come about the second part and production.

Breaking Dawn filming starts in Baton Rouge

When I went to Baton Rouge in October I went to Celtic Studios to see a bit of where Breaking Dawn would film. I spoke to the two heads of security, one who is interviewed below. The news is similar to what I was told and is not surprising. I am glad we got lot's of photos and news from Brazil, because I fear Baton Rouge will be tough seeing as it is all studio.

Studio security is always tight, but this is intense...

Scene Louisiana reports similar news:
“We have increased our number of full-time security personnel from six to twenty-four in the last week,” says Achee. “That’s just the beginning of the ramp-up. We’ll be adding two to four more every week.” Rather than hire harmless security guards, these new additions are mostly veterans of Louisiana police forces and sheriff’s departments.

In addition to the direct hires, another twenty man force has been added as well. “So, we’ll have on property at all times a forty-eight man force. We are not taking security on this property lightly,” Achee says.

The high profile project also brings its own high profile security. In addition to the personal body guards employed by stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, the production itself employs additional security. “The security that the production has brought doubles our own force,” says Achee.

”We have a law on the books, State criminal statute 1462.4. If you get charged with that offense, it’s a felony. This ain’t no misdemeanor.”

That statute of Louisiana’s criminal law states that, “Unauthorized entry of a place of business is the intentional entry by a person without authority into any structure or onto any premises, belonging to another, that is completely enclosed by any type of physical barrier that is at least six feet in height and used in whole or in part as a place of business.” Those convicted of felony trespass on the studio lot are subject to imprisonment at hard labor for up to six years and a fine of up to $1000.

“We will absolutely prosecute every person who trespasses,” says Achee. “There have been six who trespassed before and they have all been caught.” When asked how he knew only six had trespassed before, Achee’s answer came quick: “Security cameras. The property is covered with high definition security cameras. A camera mounted on the [main building] can capture the license plate of a car all the way on the other side of the property.” The security camera system video is stored to a source that is backed up offsite. Additionally, the system has a back-up power supply that allows it to continue operating in the event of a power failure.

Achee and his crew of security officers are authorized to detain any trespassers by force until local law enforcement arrives to complete the felony arrest. We asked him if he planned on seeing any young teenage girls arrested, Achee said, “Absolutely. I think of this place as a home. You wouldn’t want somebody trespassing in your home, and if you did, you’d defend yourself. That’s what we’re doing here, it doesn’t matter who it is.”

In closing, when we asked how confident he was that there would be no issues for the productions under his care at Raleigh Studios, Achee’s answer was clear. ”I used to run security for Elvis,” he says. “I’m confident.”

This seems intense eh? Luckily Vancouver is my stomping grounds and has exterior sets that are easily accessible to view from public locations.... that is how I had success with the previous two movies and hope to again with the parts of Breaking Dawn that will film here.

------------------------------------------------------------------

For those of you in Baton Rouge, or hoping to go - - - I suggest Perkins Rowe. Some of the cast have been spotted there and when I was there we walked through to check it out because a birdie told me there were some condo's there that the cast were staying at....

Plus there are some great shopping spots and restaurants!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------
In other Breaking Dawn Baton Rouge possible news, a friend of mine who lives there sent me this email:
I followed some signs today to an area close to my house. They said UPS. Untitled something I'm sure. I found the crew parking at the dead end of a road that continued onto a private drive. This property actually backs up to The River. I know there are other movies being filmed here, but I know a girl who lives on the private property and she confirmed it was TSBD. Don't know if this is B unit or what because I have seen nothing of the actors returning to BR. I wonder what they could be filming by the river?? Maybe when Bella jumps across it?? In that case I guess it would be a stunt woman.

There was alot of security in the area. I have included a couple of pics, nothing exciting though. I'll keep in touch.

JW

Who knows if the girl who lives on that street has accurate information or not but if so, it seems they are doing some exterior stunt work in Baton Rouge, though I really did think that it was all studio in Louisiana... I could very well be wrong.

Time will tell, hopefully the news keeps pouring in....

Can't wait for Vancouver Breaking Dawn - - - though, to be honest, it stresses me out also... so many people, and gossip, and drama...

I hope I can just fly by solo and quiet and get some cool photos and info to share with blog readers :)
