Kristen's Breaking Dawn Fashion

I am pretty lucky, I got to see her in the flesh wearing three of these beautiful dresses!

Kristen kicked off her tour in a cute nude Marios Schwab mini with black patent leather detailing at the Twilight star's hand- and footprint ceremony in Hollywood. The starlet arrived in black Brian Atwood velvet pumps but switched into checkered Vans for the cementing part. Who else could pull that off?
Later that night, she rocked a hot strapless Monique Lhuillier mini with black peep-toe heels and long and loose waves during an appearance on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno in L.A.
Switching it up at the London premiere, Bella Swan's alter ego looked stunning in a sparkly black Roberto Cavalli gown, black peep-toes, a smoky eye and glammed-up ponytail over one shoulder. This Goth girl's definitely grown up!
Kristen also wore a glittering gown to the Los Angeles premiere—a sheer purple belted J.Mendel stunner with a sexy, thigh-high slit, another smoky eye and her trusty black peep-toes. She worked the hell out of that leg all night!
Lastly, the actress looked cute but edgy in a fun little white and black leather fringe Barbara Bui skirt paired with a 3.1 Phillip Lim top and Brian Atwood pumps as she and her costars appeared on Ellen. She kept her locks straight and casual.

Breaking Dawn Travels Begin

I am off, it is 5am and I am headed to catch the shuttle to Seatac which will take me to LA to begin my travels.

I am so excited to see friends and of course the whole BD Promo via talkshows and convention and premiere then it's off to NYC to see friends and the release of BD

I promise to blog as much as I can and tweet a lot also :)

I am in NYC 15-20th so if any promo happens I shall be there, but it appears they are doing the NYC scene between the Con and the LA Premiere... expect more NYC talk shows added in that time, but I think Kristen may do less because of her SWATH filming - no idea!

either way I am so excited, I have some pending tickets as well as some confirmed tickets but no guests yet (Leno on the 4th for example) so we will see what guests get plugged in, hoping for another Rob at Leno experience, last year I was so lucky to attend when Rob read emails from his dad...

Breaking Dawn UK Premiere

So, I know the LA Premiere is the 14th... I assume, R, K, T will attend, as will the "majority" - - - I WILL BE THERE.... more on that in upcoming weeks but I am there either the 4th or 9th til the 15th

....then I am heading to NYC in hopes to catch some press/promo stuff... but this UK premiere makes me think there will not be a NYC premiere, but if it is really just taylor, rob and bill going, Kristen may stay to do the NYC stuff right?

what doesn't make sense to me, is if KStew is still doing any SWATH stuff... she would go back to UK anyways...

*minds turning*

I don't care, I am going to NYC to see peeps I adore and enjoy the city, but some BD promo stuff would be bomb-diggity... just saying!

Breaking Dawn Gaps Between Part 1 and 2

So we now know Breaking Dawn's Part 2 release date is 11/16/12 and year after Breaking Dawn's Part 1 release date 11/18/11.

Many fans are curious why the gap? While it seems obvious to me that there are many reasons, my guesses would include:

-stretch out that money maker
-separate years equal separate awards shows and promotion trains
-allow time for dvd and other releases between films

There are many reasons this will work well, and I am honestly, pretty psyched at the time line, though I don't like the waiting now.

Here is a great explanation of why the November Releases and time lines may have been chosen.

Hit Fix explains:

“After releasing both “Twilight” and “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” in November of 2008 and 2009, Summit made the seemingly smart move of moving “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” to a June 30, 2010 release date. This was because of both fervent interest from the franchise’s fanbase and the expectation that opening in the summer would allow for a larger gross due to the fact many teenagers would be out of school and able to see the film numerous times during the work week. Instead, “Eclipse” has grossed less than the previous chapter, “New Moon,” with only $288.1 million domestic and a total of $644.8 million worldwide so far. “New Moon” ended up with $296 million domestic and $709 million worldwide and it’s hard to see “Eclipse” matching that total as its grosses have slowed considerably. Considering “Eclipse” received universally better reviews than the previous two chapters and was the most action packed (i.e., male friendly) of the series this has to be something of a disappointment for Summit. Granted, there is no need to shed any tears as the studio and series creator Stephenie Meyer are still swimming in profits as the picture only cost $65 million.”
