Warm Bodies Premiere in NYC

Who is going to see this next weekend? I feel like I need to go again, because I saw it in November at Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere and was not in the right mind set to appreciate it..... I hadn't read the book, I was in Twilight mind-set and found it off beat, goofy, ridiculous at times and the group I was with were giggling non-stop which got me into the giggles and we spent most the movie making Twilight connections....

I thought Nicholas Hoult was hot.... even as a zombie... I loved the juxtaposition of comedy and gore.... and love... it is like nothing you have seen before and I think people will love it

Here are some pics from the premiere in NYC:

Warm Bodies Extras

So a friend of mine who runs a ton of amazing fansites (Twilightish, Warm Bodies, and others) was an extra on Warm Bodies set in Montreal last year. Her and some other awesome blogger buddies all went up to do some interviews and participate in the filming at an abandoned airport - super cool!!!

With the movie coming out soon, she has posted her experience and I encourage you to go check it out HERE

Jennifer Lawrence returns for X-Men, Bryan Singer to direct...

Vaughn backed away from the project earlier this month, but will still receive a producer credit. Singer, who produced First Class, will now be calling the shots Days Of Future Past, which presumably means he’ll be directing two films in a row starring Nicholas Hoult – the lead in Jack The Giant Slayer (due for release in March next year) and the Beast/Hank McCoy in the X-Men prequels (although his return isn’t 100% confirmed yet).

Singer directed the first two X-Men films before he swapped his comics allegiance and tried to reboot the big screen Superman franchise with Superman Returns.

Days Of Future Past, which is currently scheduled for a July 2014 release, will see the return of Michael Fassbender as Magneto, James McAvoy as Professor X and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique. The plot is partly based on the storyline from Uncanny X-Men issues 141-142 from 1982 (which also inspired the the season one episode of Heroes set in the future) in which the X-Men have to prevent a nightmare future in which mutants are hunted by Sentinels.

Summitt Entertainment at Comic Con

Los Angeles, CA June 13, 2011 – For the fourth year in a row, Summit Entertainment will provide the Comic-Con® International audience with a unique, interactive booth experience featuring films from the studio’s upcoming slate, including an action adventure update of the beloved THE THREE MUSKETEERS, the alien invasion thriller THE DARKEST HOUR with effects from visionary filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov, and the highly anticipated THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1.

Those who stop by will be able to speak live via phone with select actors and filmmakers from Summit films, as well as participate in contests and giveaways. The authors of three novels that Summit Entertainment is bringing to life on the big screen will also complete autograph signings at the booth.

  • Erin Morgenstern is the author of NIGHT CIRCUS, a novel about 19th century teenage illusionists.
  • Isaac Marion is the author of WARM BODIES, in which an existentially tormented zombie begins an unlikely romance with the girlfriend of one of his victims. Jonathan Levine is attached to direct, with Nicholas Hoult (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) and Teresa Palmer (I AM NUMBER FOUR) attached to star.
  • Veronica Roth is the 22-year-old author of DIVERGENT, which launched on the New York Times best-seller list. In the dystopic future of DIVERGENT, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to a particular virtue: honesty, selflessness, bravery, peacefulness, or intelligence.

In addition to Summit’s booth presence at Comic-Con, the studio will also host one of the first panels of the day in Hall H on Thursday, July 21st dedicated to THE TWILIGHT SAGA franchise. Fans interested in the story’s final chapters will be shown exclusive footage from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 and be treated to a filmmaker and cast Q&A session providing details on the first half of the epic two part finale, in theatres November 18, 2011.
