Jackson Rathbone Producing Vancouver Band 'Bleeding Horse Express' album

This is an interesting artcile from a local paper. We have seen this band open for 100 Monkeys before and some of the band attend (and even join the monkeys on stage) various shows.

Jackson Rathbone wrapped up four days of work at the Warehouse studio on March 14. The 100 Monkeys vocalist–multi-instrumentalist and star of the Twilight movie franchise is busy producing Vancouver band the Bleeding Horse Express. He’ll mix and master their debut album at a super-secret location somewhere in town over the next few weeks on mobile gear he shipped up from L.A.

Rathbone first caught the Express—led by vocalist-guitarist Brad Damsgaard—when it and 100 Monkeys both played at a Neptoon Records in-store in April 2009. “It’s the style of music that I grew up on,” Rathbone told the Straight. “It’s southern rock. I’m always a little homesick when I’m outside of Texas or Louisiana, which is pretty much every day, so when I get to hear this kind of music, it just lifts my soul.”

K11 in Production

I remember months ago there were rumours of this film being done with Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed. Since then, Nikki Reed has stated she is no longer attached to the project, but seeing who is involved with the film, I am hopeful that Kristen may still do the part.

Thanks to @Larry411 for tweeting info regarding K11.

About one of Hollywood’s music magnates ending up in the K-11 unit of LA’s male prison. K-11 is a unit sanctioned for gay men and transgendered who wouldn’t be able to survive in normal lock-up. He is inducted into this strange family unit that’s full of love, but tainted with rape, drug trafficking,
and abuse. Birdy, a 19-year-old sweet, red-headed girl (naturally a boy) who befriends the new member and takes care of him. She is flighty like her name, but very damaged. She is raped by a convicted child molester named Detroit who likes Birdy because she is little and young, and to retaliate against the abuse she murders him! In the end the K11 unit works together to overthrow the guard who sexually and verbally abuses them. (KristenStewart mentioned for the role of Birdy/Butterfly.)

Filming of Breaking Dawn continues

After filming Monday at the Orpheum Theatre, Rob and Kristen headed up to Squamish immediately where they will be for the next couple weeks filming scenes at the Cullen House and surrounding areas.

Judging by some tweets from other cast, the entire Cullen Clan is headed up there if they are not already.

Side Fact - One of Daniel Cudmore's first jobs was as a "petroleum technician" aka gas attendant at the Shell in Squamish.

Locals in Squamish spotted Rob & Kristen last night at a movie (Tuesday is cheap night at most theatres ha ha - cute)

Rob & Kristen go see Red Riding Hood - March 15

It's nice that the two went to see Catherine's new movie Red Riding Hood... I'd love to be sitting behind them to hear their thoughts "This reminds me of Twilight" or "Ya making out with Shiloh wasn't as good as making out with you" or maybe even "this is so Catherine"

Here are some fan pics:

More tweets from ambernkay/pic source "They were definitely alone watching the movie. yeah they were watching red riding hood. they were alone, he was nice. she was just awkward. didn't really wanna take photos. Nope, she had nothing on at all (if she was wearing a splint). was giving us hugs and saying hi. smiling and stuff. not in that way(not in a bad way). she was awkward because she was waiting in the rain for her car to get there. she is nice, they both were."

What this also tells us is that they are in Squamish filming which means they are shooting the Cullen House scenes as the Cullen House was rebuilt in Squamish for filming Breaking Dawn.

They are sure getting through everything quickly, even with the numerous schedule changes!

Filming in Vancouver today - Edward's Flashbacks

Today's shoot was at the historic Vancouver Orpheum Theatre, where a flashback scene from Edward's life was filmed.

The theatre has been used for numerous shows and movies filmed locally over the years and is visually appealing for the big screen because of it's architecture, elaborate decor and bold gold and red colours.

The Orpheum was featured in TV series Battlestar Galactica, movie Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus and many other productions, it is also a popular theatre for symphonies, concerts and theatre productions.

Built in 1927 as a movie theatre in the grandiose Moorish style, the Orpheum narrowly escaped being chopped up into a multiplex cinema in the late Sixties-early Seventies, and a ‘Save the Orpheum’ campaign has seen it it restored to become a concert hall.

While I am told it is a flashback, it is unclear HOW FAR BACK this flashback is.

There are two theories:
1 - Flashback to Edward's human life (Green Eyes anybody?)
2 - Flashback to Edward's rogue days as a dark vampire feeding on humans(no-vegetarian diet for him if you catch my drift)

The second theory seems more likey since it references Midnight Sun and the architecture is more late 1920s than earlier 1900's. Though we know Edward was in an alley way feeding so maybe that is outside the theatre?

Though perhaps it is a scene of Edward's life before the Spanish influenza hit? A family outing to the theatre maybe? If they cast an Elizabeth Masen, we may see a close up on some of her fancy jewellery that Edward inherited and later gives Bella (diamond heart charm, engagement ring?) Oh I am hopeful.

The possibilities are endless...
There are said to be using the lobby and hallways, which are beautifully decorated, as the photos show.

All around the theatre, on every floor, are ornamental grace notes—murals, paintings and other art work, decorated wall fabrics, tiling, fancy balustrades, gilded mirrors, ironwork, ornate chandeliers, sconces, corbels, tapestries, plush carpeting, varied and exotic architectural embellishments—a never-ending feast for the eye.

It was scheduled as a one day shoot with a day to set-up before and tear-down after. There was added security since it was in the heart of Granville Street, downtown. Fansites started talking about this location over the weekend and numerous fans planned to check it out in hopes of seeing the cast, in particular, Robert Pattinson.

No reports of sightings - yet.... let's see what rolls in throughout the evening.

What do you think about the location? Gorgeous isn't it?
How about the scene? Since Edward does tell Bella all about his "past" (including Tanya - awkward!) I think that this scene will be awesome in Breaking Dawn!

Would you rather it be HUMAN EDWARD? or DARK EDWARD? Which do you think it is?
