Details: In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, you play the former fiancé of Edward’s sister, Rosalie. How did you land the part?
Jack Huston: I auditioned for another part—a newborn vampire—and kind of shocked the producers. I acted like a junkie. I hadn’t slept the night before and had drunk lots of coffee. Everyone was like, “Um, a little too edgy.” But they liked me enough to offer me this part instead.”

Mandy's Mind - Also in the Eclipse Movie companion they talk about how Jack's hair was long for another role so they slicked it back and stuck a fedora on him for his wandering through the ark with Rosalie. I looked at that scene again and you totally can't even tell.

Christina Radish from IESB snagged an interview with Jack Hutson, Royce King II, about his upcoming projects including Eclipse.

“IESB: How did you get involved with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse? What is it like to become a part of that whole phenomenon?

Jack: I literally just got back last Saturday, from filming my last little bits on it. I went in for David Slade, who’s the director, for another part that was written as a 19-year-old freshman who’s blonde-haired and blue-eyed, which I knew I wasn’t. That couldn’t be less like me. But, I went in and took a very different spin on how the character was written, and went a little nuts in the room, and David and I really got along, so he said, “I wanna get you in this movie somewhere.” So, he called me up a couple weeks later and said, “There’s this other part. Would you like to do it?,” and he offered me that.”

Undetected Filming.... Royce, Vera, Rosalie

Jack Huston has already come and gone and surprisingly his scene was not set-stalked due to the fact that it was filmed the same morning as the David Thompson Craziness...

Jack as Royce, of course, would have filmed with Nikki Reed as Rosalie and Sabrina Frank [winner of the German reality show for a role in Eclipse] who plays Vera - Rosalie's human friend.



I continue to be so impressed with how amazing David Slade is with his schedule and promptness of each shot - Keep up the AWesome Work Mr. Slade!

Before leaving they all shot together in the park a scene that takes place in Rochester in 1933 in which Royce leers at Vera while an oblivious Rosalie is next to him. Later on, Rosalie (still human) is seen alone with Vera who has a baby. I’m sure you Twi-Hards can put it all together.

Twilight Saga Eclipse - NEW CAST - Jack Huston

Heard this news while I was eating Kobe Meatballs with some Twi-Fans last night at Glowbal. I am trying to catch up on blogs.... so enjoy!

Huston will play Royce King II, a human that lived during the Great Depression and was engaged to marry Rosalie when she was human.

He reminds me of a Johnny Depp... I can't wait to see him cleaned up and in character. Very Sexy, but as we know from the book, playing a not-so-kind character....
