Gotham, The Flash, and more at #SDCC

Gotham-Jada.jpg

Comic-Con will world premiere 'Gothan' later this month...

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are partnering for their first-ever power block of panels at the fan mega-conference. The cluster includes Fox’s Gotham, NBC’s new fall drama Constantine and The CW’s Arrow and its upcoming spin-off The Flash. The panels include:
– Gotham premiere: A screening of the pilot episode, followed by an appearance by the cast and producers.
– The Flash pilot screeningThe Flash pilot that shows how the fastest man on Earth (Grant Gustin) got his powers, then the “cast and producers will stop running long enough to take the stage.”
Constantine footage: John Constantine (Matt Ryan) makes his TV debut with footage from the upcoming series, then a visit from the cast and creative team.
– Arrow season 3 previewArrow returns to Comic-Con with teaser footage from the upcoming season followed by cast and producers taking fan questions.
All the panels will be on Saturday, July 26. The rest of WBTV’s Comic-Con panels, and exact times of the above panels, will be announced at a later date
UPDATED:

[PREVIOUS] Although the movie studios at San Diego Comic-Con are known for having blocks of time in which they trot out all of their upcoming programming, the television studios have typically had their programing more spread out — two panels for the same network might premiere back-to-back, but with the exception of Preview Night, TV networks don’t typically take over hours of the same panel block.
That’s all changing this year, with the first ever Warner Bros/DC “Saturday Night” event at Comic-Con.
WB announced in a press release today that on Saturday, July 26, the studio will be bringing four of its upcoming DC programs to Comic-Con for screenings and cast appearances, from series Gotham, The FlashConstantine, and Arrow.
Attendees will be treated to the world premiere of Gotham, which stars Ben McKenzie (The O.C.Southland) as Detective Jim Gordon, and follows Gordon and other popular Batman characters (including Bruce Wayne, The Penguin, Catwoman, and The Riddler) through their journey to becoming the DC characters we know today.
The Flash pilot will also be screened in its entirety, and Constantine fans will be treated to “exclusive footage”. WB and DC haven’t forgotten about their current hit series, Arrow, as the CW series will also be present with “never before seen teaser footage from the upcoming third season”.  For each of the panels, it also mentions that cast and crew will be making an appearance on stage as well.
There’s no word yet on panel times yet.

Warm Bodies Premiere in NYC

Who is going to see this next weekend? I feel like I need to go again, because I saw it in November at Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere and was not in the right mind set to appreciate it..... I hadn't read the book, I was in Twilight mind-set and found it off beat, goofy, ridiculous at times and the group I was with were giggling non-stop which got me into the giggles and we spent most the movie making Twilight connections....

I thought Nicholas Hoult was hot.... even as a zombie... I loved the juxtaposition of comedy and gore.... and love... it is like nothing you have seen before and I think people will love it

Here are some pics from the premiere in NYC:

Robsten Kisses in Cannes....

Does this mean when they win 'Best Kiss' at MTV Awards they will finally just kiss? I hope so!

They're Official! Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Smooch at Cannes
Thu., May. 24, 2012 5:28 AM PDT by Alexis L. Loinaz

And there you go. Hollywood's biggest are-they-or-aren't-they parlor game just came to a close with a kiss heard 'round the world.

Never-officially-confirmed-but-so-obvs-they're-together twosome Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson finally silenced doubters (were there ever any?) when they were snapped locking lips at the Cannes Film Festival Wednesday night.

R.Pattz die-hards: Please try not to faint en masse...

Per Just Jared, the duo were spotted canoodling at the after-party for K.Stew's new flick, On the Road.

At one point, he kisses her on the forehead, and she pulls him close with her hand on his neck.

Pattinson stepped out earlier that day to support Stewart at the film's glitzy premiere, although they walked the red carpet separately. He arrived on his own, while she hit the carpet with her equally hunky On the Road costars: Tom Sturridge, Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley.

During the screening itself, K.Stew reportedly sat with her costars, while R.Pattz was one row in front of them.

She'll get the chance to show some gal-pal support when Pattinson's own film, Cosmopolis, premieres at the fest on Friday.

Just last week, Stewart dropped the biggest hint yet that the two were an item when she told Elle magazine that "my f--king boyfriend just did" Bel Ami, the upcoming period drama headlined by Pattinson.

Fiiiinally, you two

Hunger Games Mall Tour kicks off in LA

Fans packed the first stop on the Hunger Games Mall Tour in LA today.

See more photos at mockinjay.net

There are a lot of videos on youtube, but most are screaming fans and a bit of the cast on the mics.

Seeing these videos made me decide I will SKIP Seattle's Mall stop in order to get to LA earlier and scope the scene for the Hunger Games premiere. I am so excited, but also nervous because I am not sure what to expect.

Having done Breaking Dawn Part 1 which was a bit insane, I am anxious for Hunger Games. I did register so I think I will be in as long as I am in the first 400 people in line - but I hope they email all the registered guests with some more information, I am feeling a little uncertain.

Anyways - here is one of many videos from today's Mall stop:

Predictions for Breaking Dawn 2 Camping

I registered on facebook for "The Hob" which is The Hunger Games premiere.

It stated that 400 registered fans would be able to line up for wristabdsn Sunday March 11th 6am and camp out in "The Hob" for the night in order to attend the red carpet premiere March 12 and then see the world premiere with the cast.

I registered before it closed, but I don't know if it closed after 400 or 4000 people registered. I also don't know if that means I will get in or not. I also have no idea if from those applications they will take the first 400 or a random 400 people.

It is SEM running the show, so I anticipate a familiar face... from BD1... which scares the shit out of me because he is such an angry mean man.

But, regardless of what happens, I am thinking this is a "trial" of sorts for BD2 premiere.

After BD1 fiasco, I had spoken to 2 Summit reps and 2 of the event planners and it seemed like a "lotto" online may be the way they would go for the final premiere.

Looking at this Hunger Games "online registration" I think it is a smaller scale (400 people) trial run for how Summit may do BD2.

Makes sense since Lionsgate and Summit are becoming one - and because the idea of an online signup had been discussed during BD1 conversations.

Just my guess, but I would be ok with it - provided we knew in advance when the online reg opened. I didn't know when the Hunger Games one would, so I registered way late because it didnt' show me the registration on my cell phone version of the page when I was at work.

Hopefully I get in for Hunger Games and hopefully this method "works" and they can do something similar for BD2.

My concern is this:

1. Do i skip the mall event in Seattle Sat March 10 so I can be there for the wristbands March 11 (may or may not get wristband)

2. Go to the mall event where I feel I have a high chance of meeting jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, then arrive in LA Sunday later in the day and risk not getting a wristband that I may or may ot get anyways.

There isn't a flight late enough Sat or early enough Sunday to allow me to do both - grrrr....

Taylor Lautner on Jimmy Kimmel & Immortals Premiere

Today was yet another adventure in L.A.

We slept in and then we went to Hollywood for some lunch and shopping before lining up for Kimmel.

A few were chosen to wear Team Herman and Team Jacob t-shirts, one of our group was included so in the opening you can see me on tv tee hee. (Notin a shirt, but beside them)

Things got all messed up on Kimmel. We started way late and had to endure the opening warm up guy for way too long and see audience memebers attempt crazy tricks to win a t-shirt. I should say after the first so-called-talent I felt I might as well go for it and did a Xena yell/yodel to earn a shirt. There was one gal who could beat-box but the rest of us were talentless.

Some guy actually said he was the best kisser so they made him kiss an elderly lady, then theopener kissed her and she voted on him over this young buck who was too cocky.

Anyhow, eventually we got started, Jimmy Kimmel was noticably irritated and we had to tape out of order because of Herman Cain being so late to arrive (maybe because of his sex scandals)

Anyhow, we taped his interview first, it felt fake and forced but was fresh given that he was accused (again) this morning by WOMEN #4 (who had a name versus anonymous gals #1-3)

ANYHOW after taping him talk about pizza, accusations of sexual harrassment, and politics we taped fake intro's to a band we never actually got to watch (juniper)

then finally Taylor came out and did a short segment which was pretty awesome, he talked about the Grauman's hand print ceremony, the twilight convention and the twi=mom panty story.

See pics here

Then we went out back and got somepics of Taylor before heading to the Immortals Premiere.

Unfortunately because of the delay taping we did not make it for the red carpet or to go inside. We did arrive in time to see some friends, have some dinner and then catch some celebs after the movie.

I have to say I am not a fan of the L.A. autograph hounds... I mean in Vancouver we have a handful and they can be nasty or mean, though mostly to each other, overall they are not bad, some are even super cool.... but these guys tonight - they were cruel. At Kimmel I saw a guy push a kid over to get multiple Taylor autographs, then at the Immortals lot there were a ton of them pushing and shoving. I pushed back of course ;) but I got quite upset at the way things were going on and felt frustrated that the hounds were at front getting most of the pics and graphs while fans were pushed, shoved and tossed aside... ah well, clearly I am not aggressive enough...

Anyways here are some of the photos I did get :)

Mickey Rourke - we saw leave dinner then head to the after party

Daniel Sharman who plays Aries in Immortals

Damien Gillies who plays Elijah on Vampire Diaries, he was there to support Joseph Morgan (who plays Klaus on TVD and Lysander in Immortals)

Dean Cain from Louis & Clark, there to support new Superman Henry Cavill perhaps?

Batista, I loved him when I watched WWE regularily, back in the day, don't judge me

Kellan Lutz who plays Poseidon in Immortals

Stephen Dorff who plays Stavros in Immortals

Catherine Hardwicke who chatted with me for a bit off to the side, she remembered me from Portland Twilgiht Tour.

We saw many more celebs, some I got photos, some I did not - it was pretty insane with the few fans and ton of autograph hounds.

I have more photos up on my Facebook - Mandy S Mind

Tomorrow may be the Grove or Price is Right or Ferguson or sleep all day... ha ha
