100 Monkey's Charlie Sheen Song - Forum, Vancouver, BC
This was the 2nd show by 100 Monkey's in Vancouver March 4, 2011. The first show was at Venue and Jackson was still filming Breaking Dawn in Squamish so he was late. The 4 guys put on a great show, but also did this 2nd show with Jackson later the same night.
ANYWAYS - The word for this second show was "Charlie Sheen" and it is effin' EPIC

100 Monkey's Vancouver - July 30, 2010
The Show Rocked! It was so good to have them back in Vancouver. I really loved seeing them again!!!
They played a ton of classic faves (ha classic, like from the last album and their singles) and some new stuff also so it was a good mix of stuff to hear.
There were 4 fedora's going around and 2 headbands... ha it's always strange seeing them come out on stage with dry, clean, flowing hair at the start, because they do some much running around between instruments by the end they are all a hot, sweaty, mess - the head bands and fedora's help ;)
At one point Jackson had 2 fedora's on and my friend Nat and I were making fun... I mean how many fedoras does one band need? ;)
THey all had tons of energy and were so interactive - like always!
They didn't play "Keep Awake" which I was upset about since they ALSO didn't play it last time - but there were plenty of other faves to keep me happy!
The traditional improv song was based on the word:
PLEASURE
I have to tell you, hearing Jackson sing "ooh my pleasure ooh" repeatedly was a PLEASURE for everyone I think.... seriously! Sexy!
It was a good crowd, though not sold out....
Mostly girls, a few men in the crowd and I think a couple were even straight!!!
Lot's of estrogen and screams as per usual but the funniest was at the very end of the show when Jackson went up to the mic and did this "squee" which was HILARIOUS but clearly imintating some of the girls there - hilariously cute!
What I really love about 100 Monkey's is not just their talent and the way they move around and trade instruments showcasing their multi-talented skills, and not just the high energy and interaction they provide their fans, but the facial expressions as they sing - ha!
Jackson gives those "come eff me" eyes and smiles with those dimples and it is amazing... Ben G grins that giant mouthed grin and it is awesome... Jerad smirks and it is cute.... You don't get too much from Ben who is mostly on drums or singing and Uncle Larry you can't even see his eyes to know if he is awake or just pounding those drums as he sleeps - I swear he could play in his sleep, he is so amazing!
But the expressions from Jerad, Jackson and Ben G are so animated - it draws you in.
You will see in my videos some of those sexy eyes and expressions I am talking about in case you haven't had the privvy to see them yet or if you somehow didn't notice what I am referring too.
Anyways, tonight was fantastic, great to see so may girlies I adore and rock out with some great music.

Jackson Rathbone celebrates his 25th birthday early in Vegas with 100 Monkeys and friends

Jackson turns 25 at the Bank nightclub inside the Bellagio with fellow 100 Monkey's bandmates. jackson's birthday isn't until the 21st of December but the 100 Monkey's crew along with a bananamanager cake partied early Vegas style.

Awn... Uncle Larry <3

BAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA That Cake looks *JUST* like Marty!!!!!! lmao!!!

I am glad he still has a Poppy in his hat <3 Seems he is enjoying this break as a time to not shave.... I prefer clean cut Jackson better personally... and wow is his hair ever getting long eh?

100 Monkey's Concert - The Venue Vancouver - October 25, 2009
A packed house enjoyed all of the bands hits and new songs. Looks like a new c.d. coming out VERY soon - can't wait.
It was such an enjoyable show to spend with friends. I didn't get any great photos because I didn't have my camera battery charger, but friends got photos and my cell phone photos were tweeted via twitpic (they are blurry though).
Bleeding Horse Express opened and the lead guitarist had a shirt that said "Who the fuck is Jackson Rahtbone" very funny. They had brass instruments and great tunes. I really enjoyed them.
100 Monkeys came on and the crowd went nuts. They went through their set with familiar tunes (even the new ones are familiar now after so many Vancouver shows we have been able to enjoy) and lot's of singing along.
My fave song Keep Awake (I will Kill you in your sleep) was the song I was waiting for... I needed to use the bathroom so when I saw Jackson on drums I ran up to the rest room, knowing he wasn't on drums for my song... sure enough the next song was mine - I rushed down to sing-along with friends.... good times.
It was so amazing to see familiar faces and many of the friends I've met through Twilight - most who got a kick out of my shirt (the one I got for my birthday heh heh)
Met a few new people - placed faces with twitter names and overall just had a great time.
The line to meet the band was super long after the show so I decided not to wait. But I soon learned my friends were waiting and since one of them was my ride I ended up waiting also. I am glad I did - I always feel like I shouldn't wait in line and take away time that others who haven't met them could have - then i am always glad I do wait because they are such awesome guys!!
Nutshell Encounters with each band member:
Ben G signed a pick for me - Jerad let me touch his hawk - Ben J thanked me for thanking him - Uncle Larry gave me kisses as always - Jackson promised he'd be back soon.
To each of them I told them thank-you for all the Vancouver Shows, I loved "Stay Awake" and hoped it would be included on their next album and hoped they'd return to Vancouver again soon.
Birthday Girl had a monkey shirt that said "Kiss Me - It's my birthday" she got lot's of kisses from people - I only witnessed the singer and the guitarist from the Opening band. I don't think she got Monkey Kisses... sadly.... though I may be wrong.
Overall, a great night and I can't wait for their new c.d as well as another show in Vancouver sometime soon :)

Quickie 100 Monkeys at Backstage Lounge September 20, 2009
I tweeted about it if you care to read the play-by-play
Apparently they kicked everyone out and made them line up - then come back in around 4pm...I wasn't there but friends were - and not happy about stopping eating/drinking/relaxing to go outside and wait in line only to return inside to continue eating and drinking.... ah well!
I got there when the opening band had started... Valerie and the Mutinators... maybe? I asked her like 3 times but I can't even recall - I blame the cold meds I am on ha ha! [head cold trying to take over my life - I refuse to let it mwahaha]
I saw so many friendly faces and got a chance to chat and hang out with a lot of twitter friends. <3
Xavier Samuel was there and looked sexy with his spikey hair and green hoodie. I had never actually talked to him - only seen him from a far so it was nice to meet him.
He kept peaking out and was very friendly. The first time I saw him I asked for a photo and offered to go around the corner so it woudn't draw attention - he agreed but barely stepped out of the way.

Other girls then asked and he happily obliged. I think he actually enjoyed it :) He popped out from the back room often and did autographs and photos each time he was asked - I only got the one but I did speak with him again after the show outside for a few minutes. I asked him if it was really him in the water filming the other day and he confirmed it was (some people were saying it was his stunt double in the photos I took of the vampires coming out of the "Puget Sound" I was fairly sure it was him - but now I have confirmed it)
Rumours were that Ashley was there but I don't think they were true (if they were - I didn't see her...)
The show itself was amazing! I always say it but - they put on an AMAZING live show! They are all such great performers... it's entertaining and fun and just an awesome time!!!
100 Monkeys was fantastic!

I swear Jackson was wearing an outfit that his opening band had worn at Rickshaw (black with weird red tie?!?!) with a hat that reminded me of zorro and Ben G had a wig on to start. Jerad looked ever-sexy in a white shirt and black tie and Ben J was rockin it with shaggy heair and full beard. Uncle Larry was... well Uncle Larry - classic cool and smooth!
I always joke with Uncle Larry and he is a pretty funny guy.
They did their usual "pick a word and we will make a song for it" and the word was David Bowie! Jackson sang and part of the song talked about "you might be a fairy, you're the king of trolls" I believe this was a reference to one of my fave movies ever LABYRINTH [where David Bowie is the Goblin King] I have a clip of it In my other post.
It was a packed house and everyone was having a great time :)
They played some KICK-ASS new songs - "I will kill you in your sleep" video is here I friggin' love it - ha ha ha it's so fun and creepy at the same time LOL
I have a lot of video clips I plan to upload to youtube asap (by tomorrow evening I hope- go ahead and check my youtube link clicking here) and they said more shows coming to Vancouver soon [rumour on twitter is October 17 - my birthday woo hoo]
After the amazingly high energy show they did autograph signing and ladie slined up to meet and greet with the band. Jerad had to leave after about an hour to catch a flight and the rest stayed until the last lady went through (a couple even went through twice!)
Again, I have tons of photos I promise to upload soon :)
Then they partied in the back room and popped out occasionally to check out the comedy show and use the restroom - no one really bothered them - one group of girls stopped Ben G [not that he minded at all ;) ha ha] for some photos.
The comedian was pretty funny but I was getting tired and so MeMy & I left. We saw Xavier leave and then a bit later Jackson both of who I said good night too - - they were very sweet.
It was a good night - tons of amazing videos & photos to share ASAP :)
For now here is one of my fave songs-
Also see David Bowie Song
And also I will kill you in your sleep hilariously awesome song.

100 Monkeys at Neptoon Records Tonight
Anyways - Here are some pics from ppl who are there...

(That photo may not work all the time - for some reason with twitpics it won't load everytime - try refreshing this page or go check out RobPattzNews has them on twitpic

I love Jackson's look - I wonder if he worked today? I know Rob, Ashley & Peter did. Jackson has said in interviews that he loves doing a show after filming because he let's the hair people do crazy stuff with his mane... like when he came to Backstage Lounge to perform with a huge mohawk... hot!
Jackson's style is great he has that old school classic rock look.... very sexy man!
Apparently the Show started late, it is cramped, it is basically an "in-store appearence" but 100 Monkeys always put on a great show so I am not doubtful that everyone there is having a great time.
I have also heard of some special guests were there to watch. Ashley Green and Xavier Samuel popped in to show support for their cast mate and his band.
One tweeter said:
ashley was standing behind me then ppl started the pic taking and she left
Another tweeted:
Just met xavier aka riley he is super nice!
Glad that some of the Twi Fans got some Twi-Cast fix... I always wonder who 100 Monkeys feel knowing that majority of their audience is there because of Twilight... I mean.. they are selling more records, getting more exposure and making more money because of it - - - but I am sure they would rather have an entire audience there just for their music.... which is awesome live.... I LOVE 100 MONKEYS
Anyways - More tomorrow Night - I will tweet LIVE from the concert :)

100 Monkey Venue Drama
Sadly it was #2 and a HUGE downgrade....
They are going to try to pack 100 people into Neptoon Records which is a store and a small one at that. Last time they did a brief concert and autograph signing there I did not go but heard it was fairly chaotic.
I have met the manager (Bananager) and actually given him shit over the venues he books. I mean BackStageLounge I get... but it's small and the air circulation is crap. Rickshaw was an epic fail as far as putting all-ages in there, no air circulation, located in the WORST part of Vancouver [no joke] I actually joked with Marty that he needed to book better venues...
I thought since Sunday sold out so quickly, adding the Saturday Night Show would be awesome. Especially since it's a nice venue. But now we all paid $25 to go to a store to watch them play - a store that they played at a few months ago for free - and worst of all - store that has no booze!!
Call me a whiner - i don't care.... I would much rather them honour our tickets for a rescheduled show at the venue they were supposed to be at Saturday - or another location of equal fun....
and for people from out of town coming for Saturday's show - let their ticket act as a VIP express entry and everyone else can come in for free or $5 after them.
that's just how I would do it - I used to book bands and still do event planning (5000 person events!!!!) so I have some experience with these things....
Ah Well - it will be fun for who ever goes - maybe I am just a 100 Monkey Snob lmao! I don't think I am along though... #reschedule100Monkeys made it's rounds on twitter LOL
Are you going to any of the Vancouver Shows? What are you thoughts on it all?

More 100 Monkeys in Vancouver
Saturday September 19th at the Anza Club.
Sunday September 20th at the Backstage Lounge.
Neither are all-ages. Neither are in a scuzzy part of town. Both should have fans or a/c. Both will be a blast.
I plan to attend both and tweet from the show about the show.
I have to admit their live show is better than their c.d. (Sorry 100 Monkeys and 100 Monkey fans... I only speak my opinion) and although I have their c.d I *MUCH* prefer their sound live.

I hope they have a Banana Suit.
