Guess who's returning to True Blood? *SPOILERS*

Wet Paint has shared some spoilers for the upcoming season of True Blood... a familiar face returns... Sarah Newlin (played by Anna Camp)

Sarah might try to reconnect with Jason Stackhouse, who Sarah had an affair with in Season 2. This ruined her marriage to Steve Newlin and complicated Sookie Stackhouse’s life considerably — only now, with Jessica being Jason’s current romantic prospect, the plot thickens.

Oh, and Sarah’s ex-husband Steve is a “gay vampire American” now, so there’s that. And he has a thing for Jason. No doubt in our minds: her return will be complicated.

The last time we saw Sarah in Season 3, she was a member of the anti-vampire Fellowship of the Sun church, and her marriage to Steve had just ended. My, how things have changed since then! Are you excited to see the drama that Sarah causes?

 TV Line adds:
Camp, who’s currently juggling roles on Fox’s Mindy Project and CBS’ Vegas, floated the possibility of a Sarah comeback earlier this year, telling TVLine that her character has “a lot of unfinished business.”

No doubt at the top of her to-do list is confronting ex-husband and former Fellowship of the Sun co-head Steve (Michael McMillian), who is now an out-and-proud gay man and a vampire.

Don’t be surprised if she also finds time to reconnect with ex-flame Jason, which would put her at odds with his current love, Jessica. (Anna Camp going head-to-head with Deborah Ann Woll? Count. Us. In.)

I can't wait! I love to hate Anna Camp in all her roles. She was awesome in Pitch Perfect. Also she's hot and Deborah Ann Woll is my girl crush so I would love to see some chick fights heh heh.

Tonight's True Blood

I can not wait for tonight's True Blood Episode. We were left hanging last week as Jessica walked for the sun... I know she will live, her character is too hot and sexy and awesome to kill.

Boston Herald writes:

Witches vs. vampires - whose side are you on?

The war between the two factions escalates on tonight’s episode of HBO’s “True Blood” (at 9 p.m.). In “Spellbound?,” written by series creator Alan Ball, Marnie/Antonia (the sublime Fiona Shaw) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) face off in a cemetery.

Bill claims he wants peace, but he’s brought a small army with him, including Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard). Things get violent fast, and Sookie’s life - and love life - just be taking yet another dramatic swerve.

“There’s no such thing as forever,” Sookie tells Eric earlier in the episode, and those words seem prophetic. The two take their intimacy to even greater - bloodier - levels.

Alcide (Joe Manganiello) vows to stay away from Sookie, but that’s a promise he cannot keep. Sam (Sam Trammell) makes a new enemy, while his brother Tommy (Marshall Allman) walks in a woman’s shoes. Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is no longer himself - literally.

Jessica (Deborah Ann Wolf) and Hoyt (Jim Parrack) experience not one but two wrenching break-ups. But Jessica discovers moving on with Jason (Ryan Kwanten) will not be that easy. Wolf and Parrack have been this show’s underrated stars. They give this show its emotional pulse, and I root for them even though their relationship seems about as doomed as anything in Bon Temps.

Colin Farrel at SDCC for Fright Night

Hollywood.com writes:

Fright Night is one of the most buzzed about horror remakes of recent and the amazing cast descended into San Diego to treat Con-goers with a Q&A and sneak preview. On hand were stars Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Imogen Poots, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, director Craig Gillespie, and screenwriter Marti Noxon. Obviously missing is the Tenth Doctor himself David Tennant, but the remaining cast easily made up for his absence.

Moderator Chris Sarandon (star of the original Fright Night) asked Craig why he wanted to direct Fright Night. He said he could visualize the movie very easily and wanted to combine horror and comedy like in the original movie.

Writer Marti Noxon said the original had interesting relationships that could evolve 20 years after the original film. She wanted to write a vampire who had a viciousness and sexuality.

First Clip: Very funny clip that pokes fun at Twilight with Mintz-Plasse and Yelchin.

Yelchin was attracted to this character "because he goes on a mission to find himself and battle a vampire at the same time.".

Second Clip: short clip of Farrell's character intimidating Yelchin's character.

Third clip: Farrell's vampire pursues Yelchin and his GF played by Imogen Poots and his mom played by Toni Collette. Car chase ensues and they run over Farrell and he winds smashing his hand through the bottom of the car.

Final clip has Yelchin going to David Tenant who plays a magician in Vegas to get tips on how to kill a vampire.

Yelchin: What's it like to play a character that has been played before (he did so in Star Trek, Terminator Salvation and now Fright Night)? He says it's fun to do the research on the character and then add something to it. He says he's been lucky to play these characters and respects them.

Farrell says he's reconnected with the reason he became an actor in the first place, particularly in the last 5 years.

The movie was shot in 3d and the camera weighs 90 lbs and the car chase choreography took two months to work out.

Mintz-Plasse wants to make a follow up to Kick-Ass, but all the actors are too busy right now.

Colin Farrell went to audience to sign an autograph and when he bent down the camera caught his plumbers butt and the audience erupted in laughter. He was a good sport!

A well-made, spooky, fun, 3D horror film with an impressive talented cast? Count us in!

Set Decorations at the Cottage

Today the set dressers were hard at work adding flowers and fine details to the cottage set for Breaking Dawn. Friends who had the day off work were out and about checking out various sets and took some photos of happenings.

Here are some photos sent to me of the set.

*Please if you use these photos leave tags in place and link back to here as source - thank-you*

I love the flowers. I am all about the details and set decorating and dressing is so interesting to me. I love seeing the props and "little extra's" that go into making a set so detailed and accurate.

What do you think about these photos? Excited yet?

True Blood Sunday

Tonight was one of the best episodes ever, it seems each week just gets better and better.

More... Finally we are going to find out what Sookie is, if you have read the book or spoilers you already know, also if you think about it, you can figure it out based on what we have seen.

So glad Eric got "off" ha ha - and can't wait to see him destroy Russell

The last 2 minutes were epic... Russell rips up in there... loved it... then "over to the weather" bahahahah

I am so excited to see how they take Russell down...

Jesus is so hot and Lafayette and him are adorable... his tattoo had me thinking he is a were... dunno

I am still not entirely sure about Crystal's family, but it was kick-ass to see Sam pummell her daddy.

Hoyt and Jess are SO going to get back together, I can't wait! His "short" girlfriend drives ME nuts too - she is worse than the blonde married woman from last season that Jason hooked up with - what's herface from the Fellowship?!?!

I met a friend for coffee today and I said I didn't think Franklin was dead, "but they cleaned up his brains" she said "well I hope he isn't" i said.... and I was right, briefly... LoL I hope he is back in flashbacks and haunts Tara - he is just so adorable, in a messed up way!

I also want mor Godric, I know he taped some for this season, hopefully soon!

Loved Sookie meeting her nephew, cousin, whoever the kid is, makes me excited to see where that will come up again later.

I don't want this season to end... it is so amazing

Thoughts?

Supernatural goes Twilight...

Supernatural showrunner Sera Gamble has revealed that an upcoming episode of the show's sixth season will poke fun at the Twilight franchise.

She told TV Guide that other popular vampire series such as True Blood and The Vampire Diaries will also be referenced in the instalment, which is provisionally titled 'Live Free or Twi-Hard'.

"We're doing an episode about how vampires pretending to be Edward Cullen or the Salvatore brothers or Bill Compton are bad for you," she explained.

Gamble revealed that the episode will explore the current romantic fascination with vampires, popularised by Twilight and similar brands.

"Chicks are just throwing themselves at them!" she joked. "They think that 'vampire' equals 'I'm not going to try to have sex with you'. They will still take advantage of our children! They will turn you into a vampire or eat you."

Supernatural returns to The CW on September 24.

The Gates - Pilot

I hadn't planned to watch The Gates, I feel like I have too much tv already and it seems like juswt another vampire/werewolf bandwagon jumper....

I watched it tonight and I am glad I did - it was pretty awesome... I am pretty confused still but from what I gather it will have a lot of awesomesauce so I am willing to, based tonights pilot, give it a shot.

There was vampires, werewolves and... something else...

It is filmed in Louisiana (how many vampires can they fit down there?) and looks to have an interesting and complicated plot... My guess is witches in addition to the werewolves and vampires (There are ladies with magical potion shops)

Basically a chief of police moves into gated community with his wife and two kids after leaving some kind of drama behind.... within gated community there are some aggressive werewolf boys who have rules and some vampires, and a girl who seems to control minds somehow or memories... *shrugs* it was a lot in one episode but I think it will all come together, I am hoping at least because I am adding it to my pvr series record list.

Who else watched it? Thoughts?

Vampire Peter Murphy from cameo in Twilight Saga Eclipse

Twilight Examiner Amanda Bell posts:

It's been a long time since The Twilight Saga: Eclipse wrapped filming, but Peter Murphy, whose cameo in the film was spilled by Billy Burke (see her), has just released a photograph of himself in costume from the movie.

According to Twilighters Anonymous, the photo isn't the only relevant piece of information about the Bauhaus band member's appearance.

"[Peter] is involved in telling the story of how the wolves came to be . . . He is one of the provocateurs of the wolves way back when and he sort of starts the whole thing rolling," revealed Melissa Rosenberg in an interview.

Sounds like Murphy's role is small but important! Doesn't he look great as a vampire in the picture?

Eclipse Poster - The Newborns

Here is another Eclipse Poster. THis one features the Newborn army emerging out of Puget Sound (aka the lake my husband proposed to me at tee hee)

Awesome!!

As someone at TwiFans pointed out, The Newborns seem to have their own symbol as seen on Riley's belt buckle.

Dancing with the Stars - Evan Lysacek's Vampiric Paso Doble

Did you catch Evan & Anna's amazing pasa doble last night? I was so thrilled that they were safe and would love to see them win this season of Dancing with the Stars. I know Nicole seems to be a favourite, however, she has dancing experience. For that reason she SHOULD be a good dancer non?

I am hoping for Evan to win or Erin if not Evan.. Nicole is a too obvious choice but I feel this show is more about growth than showcasing exsisting skills.

Anyways, back to the Paso Doble, let me just say - WOW! It was so amazing and I had goosebumps!!!

Don't be surprised if Evan Lysacek's smile includes a couple of fangs when he dances the paso doble again on tonight's Dancing With the Stars.

The Olympic gold medalist says the routine was inspired by Twilight and True Blood, but he and partner Anna Trebunskaya had to lose some of the bloodsucking details from last night's performance. Hear what Evan told me in our exclusive chat this morning...

What's this I hear about the dance last night being inspired by Twilight?

There were some props involved, but our dress rehearsal was such a disaster. I tried to glue fangs on my teeth but they fell off. They drew a widow's peak on my forehead, but then I started sweating and had black dripping down my face. I was supposed to pull the cape off of Anna's dress and instead I pulled her real skirt. So we eliminated the fangs and the widow's peak and the Dracula-type thing and made it a little more subtle. Some people I think got it and got that I was biting her on the neck. Tonight we're doing the repeat dance, so I might try [the fangs] again. I'm thinking about it.

So, are you a Twilight fan? Have you seen the movie?

Yeah and I really enjoyed it, but actually I love True Blood. I'm obsessed with True Blood. I think [Anna] was coming at it from more of a Twilight angle and I was coming at it from True Blood. I travel with the True Blood DVDs and I get so hooked. Last year I was doing a show and missed my number because I was watching backstage. They announced me and I wasn't there! I was too enthralled with the show.
