We are down to (back at) 7 home cooks competing with the return of Josh from "Top 6 Compete (Part 1)" last night

Mystery Box: Giant live prawns (much to the squealing of homecooks)

Three dishes are chosen to be tasted by judges:

A record 5th time, Becky is called up and judges sample her grilled prawns with salsa verde and saffron rice. It is plated beautifully and her "spanish" approach works. Judges compliment her technique and flavours.

Christine is next. I was worried about her being blind trying to catch and prepare the prawns. She made Spot Prawns with pineapple broth. She had cilantro which was an ingredient the judges had mentioned they would use if they were cooking. Judges call it a "home run" with great flavour.

Lastly they choose to taste David Martinez' Spot Prawn Ceviche. He sauteed the bits in a cold sauce. Judges call it a complex dish that is rarely seen from home cooks. They compliment the visuals as well as preparation and balance of flavours.

The winner: David!

Quite shocking given he has not been performing too well lately. Finally, he wins a mystery box challenge and with that comes rewards....

Elimination Test:

David gets to choose which of the three ingredients he and the other cooks will use today. (No immunity it seems, but he gets an advantage)

3. BEETS

Twist: The dish must be a dessert. As per a modern trend, incorporating non-traditional foods in desserts.

His advantage: 3 examples of how to use the ingredient in desserts. As well as 5 minutes in the pantry solo to prepare.

He uses these advantages and chooses to make a rice pudding and asks a few questions. He then, forgets rice. His main ingredient!!! Uh-oh!

He scrambles and asks other contestents if they have rice. Becky has it, and actually does give it to him.

David - Corn and Milk based Rice Pudding with carmel. Joe calls it unedible and disgusting.

Becky - Popcorn Panna Cotta. Joe likes the opposing textures and flavours. All the judges enjoy her dessert.

Christine - Corn & Coconut Pudding. Judges feel it is more complex than it seems and very tastey.

Monti - Corn Souffle. Corn milk and pastry cream infused with lavendar. it sounds fancy and the judges say it is delicious and well done.

Felix - Corn Profiteroles. Graham says visually it looks like cat poo, it is dense not airy and he doesn't like it. Joe has similar sentiments saying it is disappointing.

Frank - Corn Budino with chocolate. Judges seem to enjoy.

Josh - Corn Creme Brulee. Visually it is not pleasing or appetizing, but flavour wise judges

Bottom Three:

Felix is sent home.

Master Chef - Returning Home Chef is...

The last 8 homechefs sent home return for a chance to win an apronand return to the competition. The mystery box challenege had each returning player choosing an ingredient they loved and that may throw off the others.

There was chocolate, pork, cream, portobello mushrooms, pomegranate, and other random ingredients.

I really thought Stacey, who left most recently, would be the returning cook, but it came down to Ryan, the cocky unemployed young lad and Josh, the obvious favoured cook from day one.

Next up was a fruit flan. The two prepared then the remaining homechefs still in the competition judged, based on technique, flavour, but not knowing who's was who's.

Josh went for more exotic fruits, while Ryan stuckw ith traditional berries. The "judges" spoke about crust, filling, knife work on the berries, flavour and in the end the exotic fruits from Josh won.

While I didn't think Ryan was the better cook, I thought he made the show more entertaining so I was rooting for him secretly. Josh, who is the better cook, especially with a dessert task, won and is back in Masterchef competition.

Task - They are in the desert, the judges arrive on horseback.

Frank (Red) - Becky, Josh, Felix.

Monti (Blue) - Stacey, David, Christine.

Then Chef Ramsay had Monti and Frank swap teams... they were not happy.

So now Monti is Red with Becky, Josh, Felix while Frank is blue with Stacvey, David, Christine.

They have 90 minutes to prepare meals for 101 cowboys - first team to 51 points wins.

Monti and Red team discuss - Rib Eye Steak with mashed sweet potatoes and spicy green beans. Some fear peeling and mashing will be too time consuming. Despite team disagreements, they move forward with Monti's idea.

Frank is accepting teams ideas and they decide with NY Strip with garlic mash, corn on the cobb and Stacey's BBQ sweet, smokey, hot sauce.

16 oz delicious steaks ready to go. Red team is doing the dry rub while Frank takes control on blue and is pre-searing steaks. Monti assigns Becky to man the grill while she cuts veggies a point judges realize.

Christine is grilling corn, but the husks catch fire and her team mates aren't much help... I mean, she is blind... an amazing cook, but needs a little help with some things obviously.

Meanwhile red team has overcooked some steaks, they only get 105 to serve 101 so Monti is in a prediciment. Yet blue team is stacking steaks causing juices to leak and cooking to continue.

101 cowboys and cowgirls eat and rate the meals.

5 minutes into service red team is out of sweet potatoe mash.

Meanwhile blue is serving overcooked steaks.

In the end it is 36-51 with blue winning.

Back in kitchen it is pressure test and the Blue team is told to go into the wine room and pick one name to NOT participate in pressure test.

Monti says she is cooking regardless, she suggests Felix. Josh disagrees and says he did everything. Becky agrees everyone did everything. So Josh wants him, Becky wants her, Felix agrees with Monti that she (Felix) should be, in the end, no one can decide.

back in the kitchen cheg asks the chef to step forward, after hesitation, Felix steps forward, much to Becky and Josh's annoyance.

The test:

6 eggs, they must make one perfect of each egg: sunny side fried egg, soft boiled egg, poached egg, a 3 egg omlette. That means NO ROOM for error!!!

Josh, Becky, Monti head to their station ready to go. Monti calls eggs "big time bitches" needing to be timed to the second. She is right!

It;s an intense few minutes as they all cook and judges ask which egg they are most worried about, I am not a good cook and eggs even stress me out. My husband does most of the cooking - thankfully ;)

In the end, none of them do entirely well.... but Monti is safe first and then between Josh and Becky it is Josh that is sent home.

**Top 7 Compete**

Paula Dean arrives to do mystery box: A whole chicken, green tomatoes, collard greens, grits, blackberries, hot sauce, pepper jelly, bacon, cream cheese, and spices.

She wants them to put some "south in their mouth"

She also had letters and photos for each the homechefs from their families.

Time starts ticking and they are cooking like mad. In only 60 minutes it is interesting to see what they decide to try and make.

Results:

Three to taste:

-Becky - Oven Roasted Chicken with fried green tomatoes, biscuits and gravy with fried okra. - Paula loved it. The judges complimented her also.

-Frank - Chicken Roulade, pepper shutney and spicey potatoes. - Paula loves that he chose the dark meat which has most of the falvour, she thinks it is delicious but starts to choke after from spices. The judges compliment his technique.

-David - Pan Roasted Chicken with red pepper grits and shoestring onions. - Judges enjoy its flavour and Paula gives Ramsay crap for calling grits bland (he said David took a usually bland food and made it tastey ha ha) I agree, I hate grits, husband and kiddo love them though!

Winner of Mystery Box Challenge: Frank.

His advantage in next competition: He doesn't choose food, the judges have chosen Japanese food. (Sushi Platter) Frank's advantage is that he has immunity AND choose the pairs. (Yes, they will work in pairs for this competition)

They must make an exact replica - California roll, tuna sushi, yellow sushi, and many others....

One member of the losing team will be sent home. The pairs are:

-Becky & David

-Felix & Monti

-Christine & Stacey

60 minutes begins... however, the pair must not cook at same time and will switchw hen judges yell switch.

The pairs seem to communicate well at first, they need to tell each other what to do. David and Becky struggle the most, especially when Becky comes in and re does half of David's work.

In the end Christine and Stacey had the worst dish and Stavey goes home.

Master Chef - 12 and 11 compete

Two in one this week for recaps because.... well, I have been busy ha ha!

We start with a food truck challenge. The amount of money earned goes to charity and the team with the MOST money wins. First up choosing teams...

Stacey chooses Tali, Frank, Becky for her team

Then she chooses two teams...

Monti, David, Anna, Tonya

Leaving Christine, Felix, Mike, Josh as the last team

Then, Stacey chooses team colours which depicts what food type they will have.

Red - Mexican (Stacey's team)
Blue - Indian (Christine's team) who chooses Josh as team captain
Yellow - American (Monti's team) who chooses Anna as team captain

Each team plans and prepares a dish. Red team Stacey pushes for a vegetarian dish in addition to meat. Finally after They aim for taco's with side dish and guacamole... that would be delicious! After Ramsay lectures they ditch the veggie option.

Yellow team fights about side dish, fries versus chips. David and Monti hate each other. They aim for a burger with chips. Sounds plain jane. They do have two different mini burgers and chips in the end... Ramsay lectures and they decide to just do one, though with two minutes to go they have zero ON THE GRILL... oh boy!

Blue decides on some chicken tikka masala, Mike doesn't know what it is and they worry about time to prep but go for it. Sounds interesting.

If I had to pick one it would be the Mexican. But I love Guacamole!

Yellow - raw burgers after not starting to cook until 2 minutes before opening. David was on grill. After a slow start they get going.

Blue - seems to be doing best according to the judges, it has best flavour and is best deal

Red - Stacey goes to the skate park to recruit more people, tacos are an easy sell, though many would have liked to see fish tacos.

Results

Red team wins.

$154 difference between yellow and blue.

Yellow team loses.

Pressure Test

Tortellini.

Joe shows them the correct way to make it. They watch carefully.

60 minutes to prepare 10 perfect tortellini with a cheese and meat filling in a broth.

Monti - is confident though she hasn't made tortellini, she makes pasta a lot.
Anna - is using a mixer not her hands.
David - is using steel surface not wooden board and has fat fingers.
Tanya - has not made a lot of pasta and is very nervous.

Joe says pasta should be done first so it has time to rest after. Gordon says you want to make sure you time it all right.

David is the first one safe, despite his fat fingers he did a great job. Monty was also safe.

Between Anna and Tanya, it is close, but Anna heads home today.

*** Top 11 compete next... I typed it all up but it did not save... it was mystery box and they made rabbit. Becky was best and picked a fryer for her elimination round and a pizza stone for everyone else. Very few made pizza and in the end Mike and Tanya went home, despite crappy performance for David (also in bottom 3) and Tali (not in bottom three.

Becky is planning a dessert, big risk. Cowboy Mike is excited, this is his kind of meal. Tali is struggling as usual. Everyone says they are happy with their dishes.

Judges watch and taste throughout the task and decide who are stand out dishes.

1. Frank
- grilled t bone steak with corn, slaw and cream sauce

- Tarragon t-bone steak with braised cabbage and pureed corn

- Caramalized Peach with peached and cream puree

Elimination Test:

Tanya can choose between the following judges favourite desserts.

Joe - Tiramisu
Graham - Strawberry Shortcake
Gordon - Triffle

Tanya is safe and doesn't have to cook. She also gets to choose who makes which dessert (4 per dessert)

Judges will pick the worst from each dessert as the bottom three.

Tiramisu - Anna, Frank, David, Felix
Strawberry Shortcake - Scott, Mike, Tali, Christine
Triffle - Becky, Monti, Stacey, Joshua

60 minutes begins

Homecooks grab materials and start to prepare desserts.

Monti somehow sets fire to her trifle while in a frantic panic. She is running around asking for lady fingers and flour. I don't think most od them knew what a trifle was.

The judges discuss each homecook and their strategy and results so far. It is down to the wire with most cooks finishing just in time.

Tiramisu

Felix - adds nuts and Joe is not impressed. Felix starts to cry. Graham comments on the visuals lacking and doesn't seem to enjoy the flavour either. Gordon says it is way too sweet, looks as sad as she does "is a mess" he calls it her worst performance on masterchef causing more tears from Felix.

Frank - Graham likes the look and taste

David - Gordon is not happy it is thick and heavy. Joe complains about the watery substance calling it gross.

Anna - I missed... I was on facebook LOL too lazy to rewind

Trifle

Josh - Joe says it tastes like a banana split, a bowl full of cream and bananas. Graham

Monti - Gordon mentions how half way through the challenge she had nothing and although it still lacks sponge, it tastes delicious.

Stacey - It looks beautiful, she calls it an Italian trifle.

Becky - Joe says it is gross and spits it out. He says she tried to show off and it bit her in the ass. Graham and Gordon agree.

The chefs are fast asleep in their hotel rooms and come 3am they are woken up. By 4am they are at one of the top hotels working the early rush cooking all the room service breakfast orders. Crazy!

Team chooses an expediter to oversee plates.

Breakfast is 7am. 90 minute prep time begins.

130 orders each. Satisfied customers will hang their team colour tag on the door. Whoever gets the least tags faces the pressure challenege.

Blue team is assigned stations. Red team decides together who does what.

Red Felix lays out the board for expediting,s he is a food runner and seems to be organized, however, in prep Ramsay is concerned they do not have enough hollindaise for benedict.

Blue has scorched bacon and uncooked spinach and Monty is shouting at her team which makes Christine concerned that Felix is too quiet. Christine is blind so without verbal communication she is uncertain where her team is at.

7am - service begins.

Blue team has some yelling again/still with Monty and Josh. Both teams are squished into a small kitchen and the shouting and chaos stresses me out as a viewer!

Blue team is sending more food out than red, Christine tells Felix to speak up and get things going. Christine is upset Felix is doing everything herself with no communication, Chef Ramsay tells her the same thing. Everyone is clearly stressed out. I can relate, not that I have done this, I have worked in resturants for years though..... Although Monty is loud and annoying (shouting in 2 languages) they are working it.

Joe checks in with guests to see how they are doing. Blue seems to be doing well.

Red (as Ramsay warned) ran out of hollindaise. Felix tries to drizzle and save which makes Ramsay mad. Christine starts to be more vocal. She ensures everyone is doing what they should.

Blue has quality control issues as Ramsay discovers broken egg yolks, a hair, not enough fresh fruit, etc.

Where blue started strong, they are starting to crumble.

When the results come in

Red - 60%
Blue - 40%

Blue must face pressure test.

Pressure Test
Three are saved from Blue team: David, Frank, and Monty.

Josh is pissed. Ryan is alaso pissed.

The rest of the Blue team are cooking a dessert that terrifies chefs around the world.

Molten Lava Cake. (OMG I ate one last week at Joey's, the inside is so warm and gooey and delicious inside the cake!)

The 4 chefs prepare.

Ingredients: Flour, sugar, eggs, powdered sugar, chocolate, cinnamon and butter.

They get 4 attempts. Once they have one they think is good they bring it up as the one to be judged.

40 minutes begin.

Editing always has you guessing how it will go...

Tali finished first, Anna, then Josh, and finally Ryan with under 45 seconds to go pulls his from the oven.

He serves a flattened pile of goo. It has no form, it isn't done, it literally looks like a blog of goop.

But form isn't theonly way to rate the food, taste counts too.

Anna and Josh are pulled up first - "pure prefection"

Ryan and Tali are up for elimination. One tastes bad and one looked a mess.

Ramsay asks who ever knows they were the worst to step forward and pass over their apron. After a few moments, Ryan finally stepped forward and passed up his apron.

Ramsay tells him he didn't expect molten soup from Ryan.

and with that the cocky Ryan heads home. Tali is his buddy and probably the only one upset to see Ryan leave.

Reality TV Update - Monday June 18

Lot's on tonight....

Bachelorette - A few surprises, good and meh.... Emily is falling in love in Croatia and with her daughter back home, who knows if her wild side will come out. Read my whole recap here.

Masterchef - Top 16 Compete

at the largest military base the chefs are told that 201 marines will arrive to eat. They are doing a team challenge using portable kitchens, and so the show begins.....

Entree from each team then they line up behind their favourite team's entree

Frank & David are team camptains...

Frank (Blue) - Felix, Scott, Stacey, Tally, Tonya, Mike, Christine.

David (Red)- Becky, Josh, Mike, Helene, Ryan, Anna, Monty.

Interesting men all chosen first, blind gal chosen last. Ah well - it is what it is.

The rules:
-One entree
-Must contain: one protein, one starch, one vegetable
-feed 201 marines
-2 hours

Frank sticks with his Italian roots and wants a pasta - Chambota?!!?

David chooses BBQ porkchops.

Judges fear the cooking during serving time with pork chops may be a problem, while they fear the pasta dish may be too unfamiliar to the marines.

Red struggles to get organized and start, while the Blue team is having a tough time on the grill throwing unseasoned veggies to dry out and burn.

The marines arrive and the red teams pork is undercooked, while the blue team seems ready to roll but is worried they do not have enough.

Red - BBQ porkchops, cheesey potatoes and cole slaw.
Blue - Grilled Chicken with pasta salad.

Christine is serving chicken breasts, which is awkward for her but I feel like the blue team is looking for a sympathy vote having the blind gal serve.

Red runs low on food that is cooked and ready - potatoes gone... so they are serving only cole slaw - uh oh!

Blue then runs low on pasta.

Judges look around and discover a raw pork chop. Red Team is in shit. Ramsay (as we know from Hells Kitchen) does NOT accept raw food! They do some preliminary votes and of course the editing shows us only about even.

Both teams keep pushing hard but Red team is still trying to get meat cooked and Becky and Monty step up to take over and get things happening as David stands unsure what to do. Blue is trying to finish the pasta so they have enough for everyone.

In the end the men are fed and it is time to vote. Ryan jokes the red women need to show their breasts - Monty is pissed.

The lines look fairly even so they do a count....

Red Team wins! By 16 votes!

Blue enters a pressure test, Red Team is safe.

Pressure Test

One gets a pass this round, the team captain chooses Felix to be safe because she had recommended chicken and macaroni. She wants to stay and cook, so he chooses Scott who wants to cook. Frank chooses Stacey and she takes the pass while bawling.

The test: apple pie

They will be judged on the filling, crust and overall technique.

Some are worried, some are confident.

The judges discuss the technique and details that must be paid attention to from pastry to apples to temperatures to flavouring.

Many chefs do not have their pies in with only 30 minutes to go....

-Frank - delicious, flaky crust, melt in your mouth apples
-Tanya - firm apples, odd flavour and texture
-Tali - good
-Felix - visually great,
-Mike - he put cheese on his, a strange move, additionally it was soggy with juices
-Scott - looks bad, but the taste is good. Bad pastry, good filling, so not the worst
-Christine - although she is feeling discouraged, Ramsay compliments her skill and tells her to stop feeling upset for herself and believe in herself more! She has a flaky crust, no soggy no liquid (he scrapes it so she can hear it) she is crying, and he lifts a beautiful wedge of pie that tastes amazing.

Tanya, Scott, Mike are bottom three.

Not surprisingly cheeseman Michael is sent home.



Tomorrow night there is more and some drama too.... can't wait!

Reality TV Update - Monday June 11, 2012

It's a busy night for reality tv, Bachelorette, Masterchef and Hells Kitchen.

I am watching everything and will update this post with some links to full recaps and some opinions of what went down on tv tonight.

Masterchef - I still need to watch.

Hells Kitchen - RECAP HERE. Maybe I am just too tired, but it wasn't that interesting an episode.

Bachelorette - WAS an interesting episode. I did a full recap here. But there were some surprises.

Master Chef - Top 36 Challenge

The rest of the auditions happened tonight and then a Top 36 challenge using beef.

Some memorable cooks from the auditions:

husband and wife, blind gal, tall (not basketball player) guy, nearly made it gal, cowboy, Monti, and more.

At the end of the hour, there are some groups. One group of 12 is safe to go to master chef, the other group of 12 is already not staying and then there are a few people back at the stations still who get to come present their dishes.

Going Through - the cocky asian girl, Ryan the unemployed ego maniac...that was all I saw....

First up:

David - Italian Beeg Taco with Eggplant - tastes good but simple
Anna - Beef stuffed onions with raisins and horseradish - Lacks colour but tastes good
AJ - Orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe and fennel meatballs - nice idea but a bit bland
Tanya - Persian Kebab with red onion pickle salad and egg plant - bold but within her comfort zone of persian food

Tanya and David get through. Husband and Wife AJ and Anna step forward and are told to say good bye to each other as one is going home alone is AJ. Anna goes through.

Next up:

Christine - Thai Basil Beef with rice dish (She is the blind cook) - complex flavours are delicious but beef is dry
Bubba - Ranch Stew with corn bread topping - flavourful but simple
Didn't get her name Nadinni? - Beef and Spinach Curry - cooked well but doesn't explode with flavour
Monti - Beef Roll with greens and almonds - delicious

Monti goes through. I am glad I like her!

Bubba and Nadinni(?) did not make it.

Christine - gets through!!! I love it!

Courtney - (a man) Spaghetti Bolgnese - brave move to try to make sauce in shrot time, it is a bit sweet
Romy - Grape Leaf Patty - pickled well, weird colour for beef, but tastey and bold
David- Faux Bone Marrow - smart idea, savory, but some undercooked veggies
Sharine - Roasted egg plant stuffed with garlic mash and beef with tomato butter sauce - raw eggplant, not a lot of positive reviews

Courtney - sent home, a bit shocking
Sharine - sent home, no shock there
Romy and David - only one goes through.... and it is David!

Reality TV - Tuesday June 5

Tonight was another reality television night.

Masterchef
Auditions #2 was tonight and it didn't disappoint. Like last night there were some good, some bad and some questionable. As I said last night I will recap and blog episodes once auditions are over. It is just too hard for me before that point... and I am feeling lazy ha! Last night I listed a few names from Auditions #1. I missed the tall guy who everyone asked if he was a basketball player - he was awesome! Tonight a few stand outs included Felix (first gal), the dessert girl who ran for a rolling pin, the cowboys were entertaining at least, but the horse riding one got through. I also loved the husband and wife combo.

Love in the Wild
I seriously can't understand why I watch this show... but I do. It is usually my background show while I do other things online and my recaps are pretty vague idf I can remember names. I will try to do better this time, but no guarantees. Tonight's episode was a good start. I love Jenny McCarthy as host and the nick names the contestents used for each other("boobs mcgee") helped me since I usually have to refer to them by nicknames (Have you seen my Bachelorette recaps? "head injury guy" and "egg dude" and "long haired boy" LOL Sorry, I am not detail focused - CLEARLY!) Read my recap from tonight here....


Hells Kitchen
Episode #2 was tonight and the drama was full force. It is always equally entertaining and mind-blowing at how terrible these "chefs" are.... See my full re-cap from tonight's episode here.

Reality TV - Monday June 4

Bachelorette
Another night of dates, cocktail parties and a rose ceremony. There was sailing, tears, anger, roses and disappointment. Read my full recap here.

Masterchef
The first episode was tonight and we saw the good, the bad and the ugly. I didn't do a recap, I usually don't until the group is established but some stand outs were the young 'gaysian' who made wontons and who's parents don't approve. Also the cocky unemployed guy. I also loved the blind woman and I wish the high schooler made it, but hope she returns next year. Another episode tomorrow and once we have our set chefs I shallbegin episode recaps.

Master Chef Finale

Tonight we saw the final three; Christian, Adrien and Jennifer, compete to become the next Master Chef.

The show was two hours and opened with a mystery box challenge which brought the cooks full circle - - Chicken!

They had 60 minutes to prepare an entree that would wow the judges.

Christian

He created a Bacon wrapped chicken with French Onion Sauce and acorn squash. He had good taste but poor plating.

Adrien

He created a Briased Chicken thigh with acorn squah and asparagus on rice. He used herb oil and had a salsa verde. He was complimented on both plating and taste. His asparagus was cooked in rendered bacon fat which added a nice flavour according to the judges.

Jennifer

She also did a Bacon wrapped chicken with apples and jalepeno. She stuffed her chicken and although it was strong creatively, it feel short in some technique as the thigh was undercooked slightly.

The judges decided who was weakest, who won the challenge and then they moved onto the Pressure test....

Jennifer's was the weakest according to the judges and Adrien won the challenge, giving him first pick of the three choices of ingredients in the Pressure Test.

Choice #1 - Veal
Choice #2 - Mushrooms
Choice #3 - Octopus

Adrien went on a limb and chose Octopus for himself. A risk that could make or break him given the difficulty of the ingredient.

Christian had second choice, ultimately choosing for Jennifer also. He chose veal, leaving Jennifer with mushrooms, which he hoped would be a challenge for her. Unfortunately for him, she grew up near mushroom capitol and is VERY familiar with the various types available for this challenge.

They had 10 minutes to gather ingredients only, 60 minutes to cook and then present to the judges. All previous contestents were brought back to the gallery to cheer the final three on.

Christian

Planned a complex veal dish that fell flat half way through and so he changed it up to be a simple veal, mashed potatoe and vegetable medley. He made themistake of serving bone-on veal atop the mashed potatoes, which led to an embarassing moment of Joe cutting it off the bone and replating it for him. He was complimented on good taste, even cooking of the veal but fairly simple dish.

Adrien

He created a pan seared octopus with saffron rice and watercress salad. It was beautifully plated and he was complimented on the flavour, technique and overall skill.

Jennifer

Took a huge risk creating a Mushroom and egg raviolo with mushroom ragu. She changed her pasta up part way through opting to do the ravioli and creating an egg yolk pasta where if cooked correctly would ooze over the dish and if cooked incorrectly would create a tasteless dish clearly under or over cooked.

In the end the judges chose Adrien and Jennifer to move onto the finals,leaving Christian utterly shocked!

Christian joined the gallery upstairs and we moved onto the second house of the two-hour finale with the final two ready to roll.

Jennifer and Adrien's families were brought in to cheer from the gallery and the challenge began.

Task:

2 hours to prepare an appetizer, entree and dessert.

Appetizer

Adrien - Spot Prawns Taquitos with avocado sauce and microgreens. He used jicama not tortilla's and it was described as a light but fresh flavour.

Jennifer - Seared callops and quail eggs with cream corn and pea puree. It was complimented for excellent cooking and taste.

Entree

Adrien - Beer Braised Short Ribs

Jennifer - Stuffed Quail with Jalepeno and chorizo.

Both entree's were complimented on amazing plating, taste and skill.

Dessert

Adrien - Chocolate Torte with blood orange, passion fruit and chipotle. Judges were disaapointed with it overall.

Jennifer - Pears and Apples in a wine sauce. Chef's liked flavour but thought it was too simple.

In the end the winner was announced......... Jennifer!

I was pretty shocked! I had been rooting for her and Adrien for a while now, especially after Ben left. I did not like Christian or Suzy but feared Christian may win or make the final two, despite his ego.

I am pretty happy with the results overall... it was a great season!

Master Chef Top 4

Last week after Ben left, I was pretty upset. I am not a fan of Suzy or Christian, but tonight, I felt better seeing one of them leave.

Tonight the Top 4 cooks teamed up in pairs and cooked for 3 judges from international Master Chef shows in Indian, Isreal and France, along with USA's three regular chefs.

Since Suzy won the challenge last she got to pick her partner, ultimately picking the teams. Lucky for us she chose cocky, arrogant, but talented Christian, leaving Adrien and Jennifer happily paired.

The task was to prepare 6 portions of one dish that represented American and showcased their skills.

Suzy and Christian went with a fancy version of Thanksgiving Dinner which included duck, mashed sweet potatoes and so on. To be honest, my husband makes something similar at least once a year. I was disappointed with the creativity and shocked Christian didn't raise a bigger fuss about it. He messed up the sauce and so Suzy made one up in the final 10 minutes of the challenge much to Gordon Ramsay's dismay.

Jennifer and Adrien (who got a very cute hair cut by the way) went with a seafood dish that married East and West together. They were both really proud of their dish and it looked fantastic next to the other dish.

The 6 judges tasted, questioned and commented on the dishes and it seemed like a toss up but Jennifer and Adrien won, despite some faults, they out did Christian and Suzy.

In the pressure test Suzy and Christian had to make Lemon Meringue Pie.

Suzy seemed happy since she has pastry experience and Christian does not, but I wasn't convinved, he seems to pull cooking miracles out his giant egotistical head.

When I think of Lemon Meringue Pie I remember going to ABC Family Restaurant where Millie was the baker. She made "mile-high" lemon meringue pie that literally had meringue 4x as high as the lemon curd. It was giant! The first step was to push on it and get some air out so you could have a bite with the lemon curd, but even the meringue on it's own had a sweet taste. These pies tonight had no such meringue... it was disappointing that our own local Millie could do up a better pie... ooh, I miss her fresh berry pies also.... but back to the show..

Neither had much meringue. Hers was too white, undercooked and barely there. His was overcooked, separating and bland. Neither perfected the crust and either could have gone home based on their pies, but Suzy was sent packing.




Tomorrow Night we get to see one more go home and I am HOPING it is Christian, but I doubt it.

Both Ben last week and Suzy tonight told Gordon Ramsay Adrien will win Master Chef and I hope they are correct!

Reality TV Update August 12, 2011

I was away for a few days camping, but spent today unpacking and catching up on this week's reality tv shows. This was my update on Monday including BB13, Bachelor Pad, Hells Kitchen, Masterchef and more.

Big Brother

Well since I have live feeds I do indeed blog regularily on updates. I always put the results under a link/cut so that no one sees spoilers unless they want to.

Everyone saw "America" voted Brendon back in *gag* I truly feel this is a CBS rigging. I have seen tweets from past houseguests who alluded to the manipulation of producers, and maybe it is my own bias, but I just can NOT believe that American voted BRENDON back in.... *shrugs*

Anyhow, he played Lawon, let's face it, ANYONE would beat Lawon, and now we have to endure Brenchel once more.

Due to live feeds I know who is new HoH and who that person nominates and I have to say it is all quite a shocker. Spoiler Post here

Hells Kitchen

I already did a recap and review of Monday's episode before I left, but today I watched Tuesday's episode and was fairly upset. I really liked Jonathan, but he fell apart and had to go. I was shocked to see Natalie beside him and at risk to be sent home. I really peg her as a finalist to behonest. I am so sick of the Elise vs. Carrie dramaz but it looks like it hits its breaking point next week based onthe previews. Let's hope!

Masterchef

We are now down to the Final 4 after a devestating elimination Tuesday evening. I have to say, it has been between Christian, Jennifer and Adrien the past few weeks for me, but I absolutely love Ben and loathe Suzy. And even within those top 3, I think Christian is far too cocky and hate that his cooking is so good! I'd love to see Adrien or Jennifer win, but after tonight we know Ben will not as he was sent home, sadly. I will miss his smile and crazy printed chef hats, but I am ready to see what the final 4 can bring in this competition. Full recap here.

Challenge: Rivals

I did an entire post on this week's episode only because it was a lot of insanity in one show. They moved to Argentina, but not before a massive Toga party, then they fought, then they di d a helicopter awesome challenge, then they had to think individually - gasp! and in the end we didn't get to the challenge.... it was To Be Continued... I am rooting for CT and Adam, for once... want to know why? Read complete recap and lengthy review here.

Love in the Wild

I was so glad to see Skip and Theresa go. Of the remaning 6 people, 3 couples, they had the weakest connection it seemed. I really enjoyed the challenge of swimming and coins and so on, but what was best was the end. Of course now they have connections, no one is going to choose someone else, so they had a "newlywed" game style contest to see who knew their partners best. It was fun and I am so happy to see Mike and Sam along with Miles and Heather in the finals. I think both have a good connection but I am rooting for Miles and Heather simply because I think they have the BETTER connection and Mike and Sam have won everything so far! It's a cute show and I am excited to hear they will do a season 2!

Jersey Shore

I am always terrified and shocked by this show. They are in Italy, and Deena can't stay on her own two feet, she stumbles all over sober or drunk, she and PaulyD are besties somehow and want to hook-up without ruining the friendship like Vinnie and Snooki. The Situation is all interested in Snooks now, because they hooked up before the season and she has a "serious" boyfriend (who we know doesn't last) it is chaos. Meanwhile, Ronnie and Sammi are over and ok with it, until they are drunk then she is a blubbering whiney leech again. I am so over them - I have been - they are so unhealthy for each other, I kind of wish Sammi didn't even go to Italy to be honest. Drunk, Single ROnnie is hilarious. Sammi - drunk, sober, anywhich way, is a bore or an annoyance.

SYTYD USA

Well, I called it almost from day one. I favoured Mel and Marko, along with Ryan, all along. I was really impressed with the finale performance show as well as the results show / finale. I loved all the new routines and repeated favourites from the season. It was awesome to see everyone again on the show and re-live the fantastic season!

Some favourites include: Matt Flint, Nick Young and Jess LeProtto tap routine, Tadd and Joshua doind Lil C's routine, Melanie and Robert doing Stacey Tookeys routine, oh I could go on and on - it was just a great two-evening finale!

I am glad the season is over, because SYTYCD Canada is only at Top 12 and to be honest, seeing SYTYCD Monday, Tuesday (Canada) then Wednesday, Thursday (USA) was a tad exhausting. I found it really hard to switch gears between the two. I mean Canada's is shorter, especially since I fast-forward through Leah Miller and most of the judges, PLUS our results show is only a half-hour, no filler, just the facts.... but still - I enjoy SYTYCD so much I wish the seasons did not overlap. Luckily, they don't always.

SYTYCD Canada

I did my performance post of the Top 14 here. I only just watched the results show tonight and have done a post on that below (scroll down). Overall, I am ok with the results, but really, Carlena should have stayed a few more weeks at least. There were females weaker than her I would have prefered to see leave. Ah Well! I am rooting for Jordan and Joey at this point. Still.

Master Chef Tuesday Aug 9, 2011 - Top 5 Show

Tonight we were down to the final 5. The myster box challenge had - - - ground meat. Gross!

Ben & Suzy both do Shephard's Pie's, cocky Christian attempts a chilli, while Adrien does 3 meatballs, 3 ways and Jennifer makes meatloaf.

Judges choose Jennifer, Adrien and Ben to taste, leaving Suzy and Christian, both who I dislike, to stand and watch!

Jennifer's meatloaf went over well as she had a good mix of meats, veggies, texture and taste. Adrien's 3 meatballs, 3 ways had the plating and idea of a win, but the taste was a let down as judges commented it was too salty. Finally, Ben's Shephard's pie gave him the win and he went back to make some decisions for the elimination challenge.

Judges said that the contestents would recreate a well known, prestigious chef's signature dishes and I figured it would be Wolfgang Puck again since he was on Hell's Kitchen.....

They introduced... Chef Ramsay - wah wah wah.... it was cute and funny he introduced himself to Ben ha ha!

The three dishes to choose from were Pan Roasted Filet of Halibut with Crab, Roasted Duck Breast or Roasted loin of venison. Ben chose venison and was able to ask three questions. He essentially got details on the beet/red cabbage, the parsnip puree technique/dairy component and the cooking method of the venison. A HUGE advantage!

During the challenge I hoped Christian would go home, sense Suzy would since she had not only never cooked venison, but never tasted it either!

In the end, Suzy's was the best and she was immediately safe. Christian's had a few errors, monstly in his attitude as always. Jennifer copied some of Ben's techniques thinking he had the trade secrets, but it cause a few errors in her replica of Chef Ramsay's signature dish. Ben's was overcooked despite his advantage in the challenge and ultimately he was the one sent home.

I ADMIT IT, I cried... I love Ben... did I think he would win? No, but I hoped he would go further. Sadly it is a cooking show not a personality show otherwise Christian and Suzy would be LONG GONE and Ben winning it all.

He did get hugs from judges and told Adrien to go all the way and win it.

Top 4 - Suzy, Christian, Jennifer and Adrien. I would be happy with either Adrien or Jennifer, but I just do not like Christian or Suzy, despite their skills in the kitchen - they just are too cocky and arrogant!

Reality TV Update August 8, 2011

I am doing this early this week because I am going camping until Friday and won't get to see all the wonderful reality tv episodes this week until then.

I made up for it tonight though... I watched Hells Kitchen, Bachelor Pad 2 Premiere, Masterchef and SYTYCD Canada Top 4 Results. Yes, all in one night after running errands all day and packing all night. I am an insomniac, multi-taker and clearly crazy!

But, let's move onto reality tv tonight shall we?

Bachelor Pad

Finally, season 2 premiered tonight and it did NOT disappoint. We have the Vienna, Kasey, Jake triangle, the ex-engaged couple, previous hookups, haters, and overall a lot of drama. Jake and Jackie won the first challenge and stupidly gave the 3rd rose to Vienna as a peace offering. The crazy bitch didn't care and the women almost sent out Vienna's boyfriend Kasey. I almost feel bad for Kasey to be honest, Vienna is so mean to him! In the end it was Canadian wrestler, Rated-R Superstar who went home along with Ali. The two were flip-flopping "sides" and sent packing. It looks like a great season of drama.

SYTYD Canada

The top 14 performed. It wasn't the best I have seen this season but I did a recap and power rankings here if you wish to read details. I am still team Jordan and Joey!

Hells Kitchen

There was the ongoing drama of Carrie & Elise. Did you notice Elise has a tattoo on her chest... it says "Elise" *eye roll* I dislike her greatly, but realize she stays for entertainment value only. Even Jamie and her had it out tonight! There was a cool challenge in the first half of the episode where they made food using beer, mmmm, my husband enjoyed that part! Dinner Service had drama as always but in the end it was Krupa who went home.

MasterChef

This episode felt like Hells Kitchen as contestents were in the kitchen at Patina serving guests. Red Team was Ben & Christian led by team leader Suzy. Blue team was Adrian & Jennifer led by team captain Tracy. Ramsay ran the kitchen and it truly felt like Hells Kitchen final 6. Red struggled in the start but pulled together after switching Ben to a different station. In the end it was the Blue team sent to the pressure test where they had a king salmon to scale, fillet, portion and cook to perfection.

Tracy, Adrian and Jennifer began the pressure test after watching the master Chef Ramsay do it with such ease, they were in for an eye-opener when they actually attempted it.

Adrian took a long time to scale the fish and his portions were not perfect. Tracy left a lot on the bones and much of the tail. Jennifer did an excellent job portioning and had next to no waste but a few scales remainging.

As far as cooking Jennifers was slightly undercooked, Adrian's over cooked and Tracy's was undercooked.

In the end Tracy went home.

BIG BROTHER

Sunday's Show announced Kalia's nominations, Jeff and Rachel. Of course since then the Power of Veto has been played, won and possibly used? If you want to know more read my spoiler post from this morning

Reality TV Update August 3, 2011

There is a lot going on this week in reality tv so let's get right to it.

Bachelorette

Ashley chose JP, this wasn't a surprise as they had been spotted together by tabloids weeks ago. I still really wanted her to pick Ben so JP could be the next Bachelor, but what's done is done. I dislike Ashley EVEN more now after she let poor Ben get down on one knee and propose. Heart-wrenching! The after the final rose was good, nice to see some of the men return, though no clear indicator on the next Bachelor. Was looking like Ryan for a while, but they didn't announce it and they focused a lot on his negatives, so who knows.

Great promo for Bachelor Pad which starts next week - I can NOT wait. I really think the show is better than Bachelor/ette because it's everyone reunited with baggage and resentment and greed... for love or money. It is crazy how incestuous the Bachelor/ette family is. DRAMA ... and great tv.

Hells Kitchen

I have to say Elise must only be there for drama, as she is not a good cook, or a nice person. Yes, Carrie is ditzy and slow, but she can cook better than Elise! During compeition Elise veto's Carrie's dish without tasting which cost them the win in the end, allowing the blue team to go to the spa. We gt two episodes a week vs one two-hour episode a week like last season. On Monday Krupa served strip loin as veal during a competition, then during service had soupy risotto and undercooked pasta, a train wreck! In the end Gina went home. The next night, not surprisingly was Monterray. I do have to say I enjoyed the Blue win on Tuesday night, yaht party with plenty of booze - was hilarious fun watching Natalie as the only female, mingle with the boys! I was surprise also that Elizabeth stayed - she was the red team rep who met with the high school reunion committee. The committee told the cooks HAWAIIAN THEMED - - - Elizabeth runs back and says "ASIAN THEMED" she is a complete idiot!

Master Chef

I am not a Christian fan, his ego is just too much! I really do love Jennifer for putting Christian in his place. Monday we had the feeding children episode where Christan bossed his team (Adrien, Derrick and Jennifer) around and lost with a turkey burger and apple fries with carmel sauce. The other team (Tracy, Ben,and Suzy, led by Christine) worked together and had a chicken nugget burger with ranch and lettuce along with corn fritters. Despite Ramsay's criticism of the food being too greasy and deep fried, they won the most votes from the kids. In the Pressure test they made a cheese souffle and much to my dismay - everyone stayed. Tuesday's episode, however, two went home and after re-creating Ramsay's favourite childhood dish of tomatoe soup and grilled cheese, it was Christine and Derrick that left us.

SYTYCD Canada

What a week! I did a complete blog on the performance show here, as well as the result show here. I was, as you will read, in complete shock at two of the bottom three couples! Tragic to send home such talented dancers already!

Take the Money and Run

This new show looked great in previews and after the extended promo iduring the Bachelorette Finale, I was hooked! I still can not believe the brother cracked under pressure - my husband and I watched together (this is rare, he dislikes 80% of the shows I watch, especially anything "reality") and we discussed all of our strategies if we were on the show... mwahahaha Of course in watching we kept saying "I'd have done this" or "they should've done that" or "i could do that better"

Big Brother

Tonight CBS aired the veto results. I have live feeds so I am constantly blogging spoilers (under a cut so as not to piss off people who want to wait to see it on television) but I dont get to see diary room sessions or competitions, so tonight's show was really awesome! I am so much more aware of editing for tv now that I have live feeds and then watchi the shows version of what is going on... very interesting! Brendon and Rachel are on the block, Brendon won POV and pretended he would use it on himself, but really used it on Rachel... thinking he would "trick" everyonw (he did, they believed he was taking himself off) but in reality Dani wanted Brendon gone, so really, things are still going as plan, the replacement nominee was Jordan, who no one will vote out - she is too nice, friendly and she is a great person to take to final two since she has already won before and I highly doubt a jury would award her money again - unless she was up against Rachel LOL American loves to HATE Rachel!

SYTYCD USA

Tomorrow night is the results show and I am nervous for the final 6. Who will make it to the finale. To be honest, Rickey and Caitlynn are the two I would send based on the whole season, but tonight, everyone brought it HARD so we shall see!

I really loved Marko and Caitlyn's piece by Sonya as well as Mel and Tadd's piece with the mirror. Twitch and Mel were amazing together also! I adore Mel and have been rooting for her to win for weeks. But Sasha and Kent were amazing together! Best solo was Mel also! I think it will be Marko, Tadd, Mel and Sasha as Top 4 - we shall see!

Storage Wars

I don't usually write on this but tonight Barry got a unit for $1500 and ended up with a $6000 "head" I like Barry because he collects... and because he wears those sexy skeleton gloves ha ha

I am NOT a Dave fan and Dave Jr. is even worse, but I have to say that I enjoyed learning why he is such a bully... when he bid HARD against the "stranger" that was his brother, who he allegedly trained and who ditched him!

Love in rhe Wild

Brandee and Ben who almost went home last week came in last this week after he continually put her down and insulted her. The adventure itself was entertaining as they searched for masks by going through various hikes and trails on horse, mud slide and so on. I felt bad for Brandee she is sweet, and when Steele started tos how interst in her over Erica I was hopeful, I have never really been a fan of Erica. Mike and Samantha who came in first stayed together, as did Miles and his partner and Theresa and her partner. Steele indeed DID ask Brandee to pair up and she declined his offer! Then Erica asked Steele back and he still said no, leaving them both in the unmatched area! Ben then asked Erica who said no... In the end all 4 went to the unmatched area and all went home! I wish Brandee would have stayed and accepted to go with Steele at least for another week - ah well!

Toddlers & Tiaras

I hate admitting that I watch this... I saw it once a while back and was disgusted, but somehow in the last few weeks I have stumbled upon itmore often (ok I set up a series record after catching a hilarious episode) and now I am sort of hooked. It is like a train-wreck, you can't look away!

Jersey Shore

Speaking of Train Wrecks, Jersey Shore just finished filming on seaside for NEXT season, meanwhile the Italy season begins tomorrow on MTV. This is ridiculous! I mean they are jamming as many seasons as they can in before people figure out these guys are IDIOTS and NOT WORTH THE TIME! That being said, I am addicted... it's sad and pathetic I know! But there is drama and fighting and stupidity - what's not to LOVE hating in a relaity tv show? ha!

Reality TV Update July 29 2011

I just updated a few days ago but obviously, this week's results were not posted... so here is a mini-update basedon the past few days - but read here for a more detailed updatedon last week's Reality TV Shows.

Bachelorette - Sunday is the Men-Tell-All and Monday is the finale. Can't wait.

Bachelor Pad - Starts next week, should be exciting!!

Hells Kitchen - Chino went home. I wasn't too shocked, though Monterray could have gone. Also Elise and Carrie had a show-down. Elise asked Chef Ramsey to ask "everyone" who should go her or Carrie... everyone said "Elise" it was pretty funny. Next week they serve children. Fun!

Masterchef - President Obama had a speech so they re-aired the Top 10 and we got to see Guiseppie go home again. Then the next night was a new episode and Alejendra went home.

Love in the Wild - I thought it was funny how Ben and Brandee didn't choose each other until the end. I thought it was adorable that - - - of course I can't think of her name now - - but she left because her partner hurt his foot and left.... cute!!

Bachelorette

I have to say, I was shocked that Constantine lasted as long as he did, so was not surprised he would be going. I was surprised on HOW he went home. I am glad he was honest, and also glad Ashley had to rethink this whole "I am the Bachelorette" thing - I am not a huge fan of hers, in case you couldn't tell from past posts. I still think she will end up with JP, though I want her to be with Ben. I think it is a better fit and I really want to see JP as a Bachelor in the future.

Speaking of future Bachelors, that clip of Ryan on Bachelorette Monday sure sounded like an ad for the next Bachelor no? I have heard rumours he or the rejected Bachelor on next week's finale may be the next one... thoughts? I think Ben is too boring, so it he ends up with Ashley, then JP would be great! Ryan is too corn-ball for a whole season. Ames, William or Blake would be interesting, but we will see them starting in two weeks on B-Pad.

The countdown is on the ads are getting me hyped. I mean, Vienna with new "guard and protect my heart" boyfriend in a house with Jake. Then there is Gia as well, who was dating *ahem sleeping with* bad boy Wes, but rumoured to split because Vienna slept with him? The drama is never-ending and I can't wait to see it.

Hell's Kitchen

I have to say, I am happy to have twice a week episodes versus two hour episodes like last time. The drama tonight was awesome! I knew Carrie and Elise would stay simply for their catfights. Elise and Carrie are at each other's throats constantly, and then tonight getting the sous chef's pissed off - wow! I love seeing Chef Scott mad and I thought he was going to deck Monterey!

I am still a fan of Jonathan and Jamie out of everyone. Was shocked to see Brendon go home so soon, especially with the sexual chemistry with Carrie, would have made good tv.

Masterchef

Suzy really pisses me off. I was so glad to see her fail today, her and Christian are so cocky, but at least Christian (usually) has reason to be. I mean Adrian beat him (barely) and got to pick the ingredients tonight, but even giving Christian pork cheeks, yes, CHEEKS, Christian made one of the best dishes! Amazing! I am anxious to see him get put in his place though, yes, he is good, but such a jerk to everyone else! Also I love the guy with the colourful chef hats, I can't think of his name at the moment, but he just cracks me up! Double dose of Chef Ramsey twice a week makes me a happy camper!

SYTYCD Canada
We are down to the Top 16 after tonight and I have to say I have been pretty good at predicting Canada's vote. I am still rooting for Jordan, but really love Joey and his new partner Melissa. It is still a long way from the win but those three are shining stars in my books! I loved seeing Nico guest judge, he is my most favourite dancer!

SYTYCD USA
Getting close now and the all-stars are apparently changing each week. That works for me because there are some all-stars who didn't dance last week that I hope to see again before the season ends. I am still rooting for Mel and Jess, though I think it owuld be a long shot for Jess to win it all unfortunately. Broadway folk generally don't. We will see, still a ton of talent on that stage every week! I am hoping for some Nappytabs choreo soon, I miss them when they are gone too long.

Love in the Wild
Well things are still going the same, challenges, drama, very little connection or love forming, but time will tell. I think this is just one of those things that sounds good but doesn't work so well. Jason and Jessica went home most recently, Jason couldn't connect with ANYONE and Jessica almost had a chance with Steele but he couldn't risk sending Erica home and so off Jasonand Jessica went. Jessica drove me kind of nuts anyways. Ben and Brandee looked to be having trouble in paradise but stuck it out. No one else can connect with Ben anyways, I am still shocked Brandee can! Everyone else stayed together - wah wah wah...

Challenge: Rivals
Well Mandi won a challenge, which was shocking. I love her but she just isn't really much of a winner. I have a feeling she gets cast for "other" reasons ha ha. In the white water rafting challenge it was Sarah and Katelyn who were in the bottom due to a DQ when Sarah toppled out of the raft and Katelyn stuck around to make sure she didn't drown - how dare she? Of course the rest nominated newbies Jonna and Jasmine since they didn't vote with the house last week. Jasmine and Katelyn left with host DJ earlier in the day and at challenge there were two giant stacks of hay, in them were buried boxes containing their partners - the trick, you didn't know which stack/box had which person. Of course Sarah got to a box first, it was Jasmine so she went to the other, which actually didn't even give the newbies J&J a lead on the puzzle. They had to move pieces from pole to pole, yada yada and first to finish would win. Sarah and Katelyn, the self-proclaimed "puzzle masters" ended up going home... on a puzzle challenge. Newbies Jonna and Jasmine remain in the house! And after a week of Jonna's b.s. I am certain everyone is so thrilled *eye roll*

Big Brother
Well things are looking interesting. I am on live feeds a lot, finally some drama in the house woot woot.

What I want to discuss is the golden key. I mean, the blessing and curse is obviously you are safe for 4 weeks but can't compete. But I predict something more... I WISH it was that golden key holders had a chance to open a pandora's box - - prize or punishment, you never know! Prizes could be money, trips, items to help in the game, luxury items... punishments could be slop, have not, returning houseguest

I have heard the evicted HGs have been sequestered, and since Dick left, it gives them an extra week to play with so a returning houseguest seems ENTIRELY possible!

I am still rooting for Jeff and Jordan.
