Reality TV Update - August 30, 2010

I have missed a few updates, but I will try to catch up.

Bachelor Pad

I missed tonight's episode *gasp* But I did see Wes and Krissily go home. That is all I know. Krissily's last words were to break up Kovaks, Elizabeth, Kiptyn and Tenley - well duh! I want to know what I missed so feel free to comment with updates or details.

SYTYCD Canada

I am loving some of this season's contestents and I do blog after every episode with Power Rankings and then Results. I also blog throughout the week at Pure SYTYCD.

Last Week Shelaina went home due to injury and Hanni for some stupid reason. This week two more will go home tomorrow night.

Here are my power rankings from tonight's show.

Master Chef

I am loving this show. I liked this week's trucker challenge and was shocked when red pulled in the win after such a rough start, I mean seriously? Blue Cheese? Whitney and Jake are my two top favourites.

Big Brother

Well I have spoilers so I will shuddup but this week is going to be VERY INTERESTING! I will leave it at that but if you want spoilers read HERE and HERE

Everyone I was rooting for is gone so now I don't care... I like Lane but he has money, Britney has girl power but she has annoyed me since day one, I love gay men but Ragan seems close to going home, I hate Enzo, so that leaves Hayden... or Lane.. or Brittney.. I dunno - I will wait til last two and then decide.

Dating in the Dark

This show is so bad it's good. I love that I can pick it up or drop it any time because each week si new people. It's a nice background show to accompany my blogging. They always have at least one total loser.

Jersey Shore

OMG The Situation is friggin too much - his "master plan" to put the hippo to bed and have two girls on one side of the house and two on the other - - AND IT WORKED!?!?!? Too much! I can't wait to see this week's the preview shows Sammie and JWOW having it out - I assume it comes out that she wrote the letter to Sammi about Ronnie's creepin' ha ha ha this show is so bad I can't help myself... though I do wanna shoot myself when I hear shit like The Situation will make $5mil this year - WTF? Yet, here I am supporting it by watching and talking about it BAD MANDY!

Real World New Orleans

I haven't watched this yet but my PVR needs me too fast...

Overall I had a fantastic weekend.

I was able to more thoroughly enjoy the entire weekend than when I just went a couple days to The Official Twilight Convention in Seattle.

Additionally, it was nice seeing so many local fans who I talk to on twitter and email.

Next up is the L.A. Twilight Convention which will be extra special as it has appearandes from Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and many more cast members from Twilight Saga Eclipse.

I have already started to plan my trip out there and look forward to meeting many more fans who attend also.

Mandy's Eclipse Trailer Break-Down

So I love the New Eclipse Trailer. It's so much better than the first one... I am really excited to share my thoughts with you all - PLEASE COMMENT at the bottom with your thoughts!

[0:09] Summit & pan over mountains and water... all I can do is laugh at the "literal Eclipse trailer" "this shot cost more than I made last year"

[0:12] Sexy Taylor Lautner looking like a confident Jacob Black....

[0:14] "I'm here to warn you" I love his voice, his tone... way less um.. flamboyant *haha* than usual...

Edward's all "Oh no he di-hint"

[0:19] "She has a right to know" Bella's all "what?" This whole scene was shot at the "Exterior" Forks High School which was simply a parking lot at a local park with green screened school and built in stairs. I remember going by one day when they weren't filming and seeing it all set up, the vehicles there and also during live filming seeing the school bus and some extras in Forks High School gear! Very Cool experience!

Amazing how they turn local sets into such foreign places...

The "unknown" shadow (Victoria) bites the young Riley. There were a few locations for this (presumaby opening ) scene... Here was one set. Here is another set.

Bella... it's less the wig and more the "it looks like i self-dyed my hair dark and stained my forehead with it" non?

I LOVE THIS because it is such a random scene of the destruction in Seattle and we were there when they set it up and saw the upside down (as well as back up not upside down but parked down the street) car! really neat to FINALLY start seeing these lil bits. Here is my original post from this particular set.

the beach where my husband proposed, though highly "movie-fied" with MORE trees and less beach area..... I love that they filmed my fave book of the saga at my fave spot :)

Another awesome thing to see... emerging newborns...

[0:58] emerging... I saw many of them chilling out at the beach in full costume. I have a few posts from this set here is one and another post is here.

[1:03] This was at the same set as the upside down car / newborns attacking Seattle, just above it peering down at the chaos.

- Dakota clearly the boss... love it! We weren't entirely sure who was on set that night except for Cam & Dakota... rumours had included Charlie and Daniel but then again some said Rob too which was entirely false ha ha - funny rumours were ALWAYS that Rob was at EVERY set LoL

Overall - I like this way better than first one, though I am curious as to why it's only a minute and a half... seems short non? There is more "romance" and "love triangle" alluded to but still lot's of action and battle which I am really looking forward to in Eclipse.

Nikki Reed says Breaking Dawn will be in Vancouver

Nikki Reed was at Yotam Solomon’s Fashion Event this weekend.

Young Hollywood asked her a few questions about her style choices for the evening, current interests (traveling and learning Greek and Spanish, perhaps with her beau Paris Latsis?)

Nikki Reed also talked about what fans can expect to see from her character in Twilight Saga Eclipse.

She explained that the film "really explore[s] my character's back story . . . so there's a lot of stuff from the early 1900's, the 1930's."

Mandy's Mind - So excited for this! From what we saw being filmed, it will certainly be interesting seeing Rosalie and Jasper's back story at the very least, perhaps more?

Amanda Bell reports that:
When speaking of the Twilight saga cast ensemble and how they're gearing up for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Reed stated that they are "all sort of like a family. You know, we started this thing together, and we're going to finish together . . . We love each other, we see one another when we're not shooting. So, we're looking forward to going back to Vancouver to make another one."

Mandy's Mind - Sounds like a lot of the cast believe it will be filmed here.

Re-Shoots / Pick-Up Shots

I have a Very Busy Weekend and won't be able to post much :(

I will be heading down to Seattle Twilight Convention this weekend.

If I can get to a computer I will upload some photos and blogs and tweets in the evening, but otherwise I will Sunday Night.

Roaming costs are extremely high so I won't be using my blackberry this trip to tweet or twitpic as I go - sadly.

And though I will be back Sunday morning from Seattle, I am going to see 100 Monkey's in Vancouver Sunday Night, so may not get to my computer til late, however, I will be tweeting live from 100 Monkey's as well as some lil bits from TwiCon as soon as I cross back into Canada <3 Expect tons of updates Sunday Night & Monday Morning from Twilight Convention as well as 100 Monkey's.
