#TEENWOLF at #SDCC

Teen Wolf

MTV will be bringing returning series stars Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, as well as new cast members Shelley Hennig and Dylan Sprayberry, and Executive Producer Jeff Davis, for a panel on Thursday, July 24. MTV promises that attendees will be treated to “a can’t-miss panel in which they will share season four secrets, debut a new mid-season trailer and answer fan questions”. Although no room for the panel was listed, last year, Teen Wolf took over Ballroom 20 for the first time to a packed house, and we’d be surprised if it moved rooms again for 2014.

The Teen Wolf cast will also hold a signing at the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment Booth (#4213).

For fans who can’t get enough of Teen Wolf, there’s also an unofficial fan meetup on Friday, July 25: 7:45-10PM at the Panda Inn Horton Plaza. $35

Teen Wolf Love

Thank GOODNESS for this preview, after the latest episode of 'Teen Wolf' I am on the edge of my seat for next week.... Isaac??? Kira??? everything is getting so good... I love this show so much, I don't know many shows that can have me LOLing for real and jumping in fear while trying to figure out what will happen next.... so awesome!

I remember at comic-con seeing Holland drunk and taken to her car, meeting Tyler and Tyler, which was awesome because I love Tyler H from 7th Heaven and also had an opportunity to talk to Tyler P about People's Choice Awards when Kayley C from BBT thought he was an "average teenager" ha ha so fun!

Anyhow - - - if you aren't watching this show, you should be!!! Even my hesitant friends who gave in fell in love with it... trust me!!!

MTV's Fave Five Scenes from #Divergent Teaser Trailer

MTV shared what they thought the best five scenes from the Divergent Teaser Trailer were…..

tr1

Being Different
When Abnegation-born Beatrice undergoes her aptitude testing (a requirement for all 16-year-olds), she’s delivered unsettling results by administrator Tori (Maggie Q): “You’re different. You don’t fit into a category. They can’t control you. They call it Divergent. You can’t let them find out about you.” “And what if they already know?” Beatrice asks. “Then you’re already dead,” Tori warns.
Those words haunt Beatrice, and instead of staying with her friends and family in the faction she knows, she decides to pledge the Dauntless.

tr2

Taking A Flying Leap

Of course, being an initiate in the most fearless of factions is no mean feat. One of Beatrice’s first tasks is to jump from the roof of a seven-story building into Dauntless headquarters — through an ominous black hole. Here we see her, still clad in her Abnegation gray, make the perilous leap, proving her mettle to both the Dauntless leaders and her fellow initiates.

tr3

Going To The Mat

Initiation begins with physical training. Tris (renamed and in her Dauntless black) takes her punches from rival Peter, and later we see her face down hurtling knives, with one whizzing perilously close to her face, nicking her ear and drawing blood. What you don’t see here is that it’s her mentor/love interest Four who’s doing the throwing. (Those Dauntless have a funny way of showing their affection…)

tr4

Getting A Better Vantage Point

In what will probably become one of the most iconic scenes from the film, Tris and Four climb the dilapidated Navy Pier Ferris wheel during a game of Capture the Flag to get a superior view of their competition. It’s a pivotal moment, not only because Four overcomes his own fear (heights!), but because the two share a palpable moment of sexual tension that will soon pay off.

tr5

Kissing Her HardAnd, speaking of pay off … Tris and Four kiss! Tris and Four kiss!
James, who stopped by MTV’s VMA All Access Experience ahead of Sunday’s ceremony, described the smooch thusly to Josh Horowitz: “I just went at it hard, to be honest, because I thought that’s how she wanted it. I thought to assuage any awkwardness I would just go for it. She was kind of batting away my hands. It was kind of nice because we had Miles as Peter literally in the background as we were kissing. He was making hissing noises which actually added to the sexuality.”

What do you think? What was your favourite scene from the teaser trailer?

I loved the “hard kiss” and Tris’ hand “grazing Tobias’ back tattoos” but I also LOVED the knife throwing scene:

Teen Wolf - Gay Love Scene last night

Finally, one of today's top television shows for teens (and adults like me!) had a sexy, gay love scene.

Last night on Teen Wolf (which airs Mondays on Much Music here in Canada, MTV for Americans) Danny (Keahu Kahuanui) and Ethan (Charlie Carver) had a sexy love scene after finding themselves at a haunted hotel. I have been waiting for this since the budding relationship started this season.

Huffington Post writes:
Bromance and potential romance between the male characters on the show has always been hinted at, or at least joked about, since the show's first season, and that should come as no surprise on a series that was created by an out gay man, Jeff Davis.

Bring it on! I am glad to see more diverse relationships showcased on television!

Together Again... Wyck Godfrey and Robert Pattinson? Bonnie & Clyde?

When MTV News caught up with "Twilight" producer Wyck Godfrey recently to discuss Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's chances of another Best Kiss win at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (June 3), he revealed that he and Pattinson might be cooking up some post-"Breaking Dawn - Part 2" work plans, in the form of a big-screen adaptation of a crime thriller.

"There's a book called "The Professionals," which is a new crime thriller that Rob has read and really likes," Godfrey said of Owen Laukkanen's well-received debut novel. "We're just starting to look at a writer [to adapt it]. It's kind of a 'Bonnie and Clyde' for today, and he would be fantastic in the role. It's in the early days; we'll see."

A modern-day version of "Bonnie and Clyde" sounds gritty and violent no matter which way you look at it. We asked Godfrey if he sees this potential big-screen crime thriller as a PG-13- or R-rated film for Pattinson.

"Possibly R," he said. "[Rob's] an adult now."

Hunger Games Teaser Trailer from MTV VMAs

Jennifer Lawrence introduced the clip and while I was disappointed we did not get more, it IS still filming, it IS just a teaser, and it WAS more than we would get from other production studios this early on *ahem*

Director Gary Ross told MTV:

The teaser comes to a close as Katniss indeed shows how good she is: arrow meeting flaming target. But all this is just a taste of what’s to come, as director Gary Ross told MTV News earlier this week. “We’re still shooting, so unfortunately it’s just a teaser. We could only give you a little bit because we’re still down here making the movie,” he said. “But there’s a lot of things to come that I think are going to be hugely epic and very emotional and incredibly powerful.”

Here is the clip:

I loved the landscape, I loved seeing Katniss' emotion as well as her amazing archery skills. The voice (of Gale?) was nice too, though seeing him and Peeta would have made it better (obviously) There is speculation that Rue's 4 note song is heard at the end (about 1 minute mark) though some complained it was X-filesy and not part of the trailer just MTV's thing - I guess we will soon find out. I like it as Rue's tune...

I want more... but I will be patient, well, as patient as possible...

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEee

Thoughts?

Hunger Games Trailer at MTV Awards Tonight

On show night, Jennifer Lawrence will be introducing the first look. Afterward, we’ll be bringing you an exclusive online-video commentary from “Hunger Games” director Gary Ross, who will lend insight into the footage and answer some burning questions we have about the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best-selling young adult novel.

I can't view this because MTV hates Canada but if you can see it - enjoy:

Challenge Rivals - The Mob has to think individually....

I felt like this week's episode was like a bad acid trip. The happenings, the camera angles, the music, the editing... it was insanity from the realization they were going to Argentina, to the toga party, to the whippings, to the trip to Argentina, to the wrestling and room trashing and finally the soda pop fighting... it was all very immature and trippy and just WTF. The lines in the sand have really been drawn and while the helicopter challenge was awesome, it all ended very quickly.

Basically one partner was hanging from the 'copter while another climbed a rope (women actually climbed a rope ladder, but whatever) Evelyn killed it, as always and on the men's side, rookies Mike and Leroy actually killed it saving themselves from the "jungle" t andamongst themselves who would f had to vdecide amongst themselves who would f had to vdecide amongst themselves who would face CT in "the jungle" BUT host |TJ has a further surprise, they had to pick the team - on the spot - then and there.

See the mob on this show can't wipe their butt's without checking with Kenny and Wes, so this put everyone in a tough spot - they had *gasp* THINK FOR THEMSELVES! In the end Tyler and Johnny were chosen and Tyler startes to go cray-cray which showed his fear for the CT rematch. Worst part of this episode was it ended with a To Be Continues... I hate that crap! So next week Johnny and Tyler take on Adam and CT in what seems by the previews to be a running rock shoving challenge of some sort? I am rooting for CT and Adam this time!

The end of the show had them in a club, the mob had decided to make Adam lose his confidence and throw him off his game so they were harassing him... CT intervened and it looked like a fight was ready to break out....

Also earlier in the episode Cara Maria was the brunt of everyone's joke again. With Pop all over her white dress after Wes purposely dumped a bottle on her she was in tears, Laurel came out to back her up, attacking Paula who was in tears, Tyler came to stick up for her, which is why he was especially burned when Paula stayed silent allowing her partner Evelyn to vote for he and Johnny to go against CT and Adam... oh the dramaz.

Can't wait to see next week - - -

Tom Felton at MTV Movie Awards 2011 Red Carpet

MTV Movie Awards

It was another great year for the MMAs. It often felt like the Robert Pattinson Awards, but I am certain there aren't too many complaints about that one.

Some fave moments:

-Intro featuring Taylor Lautner "Missing" This incorporated current events, top movies, upcoming movies, and celebrity gossip all into one funny skit.

-Rob wins Best Male performance. He cracks jokes that Zac Efron cried and he thought he would win. Short and Sweet... the least awkward of all his appearences of the night ha ha!

-Kristen wins Best Female Performance. For once she is less awkward than Rob at an awards show. She looks good, she is still her usual nervous self but sweet and endearing. She thanks the other ladies in the category and says Twilight fans are amazing, poking fun at how cliche it sounds to say it.

-Best Kiss Award. Kristen was nominated twice. Once with Taylor Lautner and once with Robertand atinson. Of course she and Rob won and after multiple wins in this category, each time avoiding the fans desire for a re-enactment of a kiss... I really believed they would FINALLY do it... but instead, something better happened... Rob ran out and kissed Taylor Lautner... it was a hilarious make-out session... then, after returning to the stage, there was a play fight for the award and Rob said "I'm going to take you backstage" which was hilarious and cute. Later beackstage photos were seen of them holding hands... adorable non?

-Best Fight Award. Robert Pattinson vs Xavier Samuel and Bryce Dallas Howard. To be honest, I knew they would win. Not only because they were THERE but it really is the "Twilight" Awards. Xavier delivered a good thank-you, ROb kind of stumbled saying Xavier had pretty much covered it, Bryce apologized for trying to hurt Rob and he, in classic Rob form, said "It's ok I ripped your head off... and now you're pregnant" - - - awkward silence - - - wait what? Cameras show Kristen covering her face with a WTF - - - epic! I want a t-shirt that says "I ripped your head off and now you're pregnant" ha ha

-Rob, Kristen and Taylor present the Breaking Dawn trailer. Bloggers are now "allowed" to share online ;)

-Generation Award to Reese Witherspoon. Patrick Dempsey and his hair say some nice words to Reese, then there is an awkward, mix-up when it is ROb's turn to speak... the teleprompter says he is to Ad Lib... um, who decided that? Do they KNOW Rob? He pulls out his piece of paper, Patrick cracks a joke about where he is staying, Chelsea admits "this is the worst" Rob begins... a general "boring" intro, then some michmash of random things that one can only hope are inside jokes of some sort... cut from Vanity Fair, WFE, mom to lover, the "beep" is too late in blocking him dropping the f-bomb, something abour girdles, tequila, and 33% lesbianism - - ha ha the whole thing is a hilarious, but endearing, train wreck!

Rob presenting Reese her Award by myrobaddiction

-Best MOVIE goes to Eclipse. The entire cast (no joke everyone was freaking there, yet David Slade was not invited... strange non? At least Xavier Samuel thanked him during Best Fight win!) Nikki Reed was sporting some bling on her finger (engaged!) and there were so many people up there it was ridick... Taytay did the acceptance speech on behalf of the cast.

***More Coming Tomorrow***

MTV Movie Awards Seating Chart

Can't wait!

Sneak Peak at Breaking Dawn Clip Stills from MTV Movie Awards

MTV has some sneak peaks of Breaking Dawn as we all prepare for the first ever, never before seen clip that will debut at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday!

The MTV Movie Awards are practically around the corner, and our favorite movie peeps are all happily prepping for the big night, thinking it'll just be another awards ceremony and none of us will be screaming/crying in ecstasy. WRONG. Suddenly, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has to jump in and turn us into crazy people by showing us the first glimpse of matrimonial proceedings between Edward and Bella. Now, of course, we can’t think of anything else and we are buzzing around the office like a pack of starved newborn vamps. Back in April we saw a teensy tiny sketch of Bella’s dress (long, dramatic, draped) and very coyly, the back of her be-veiled and braided head. No glimpse of the Zac Posen-designed dress yet, but we are guessing it’ll be as dramatic and breathtaking as we imagine. And we just got word (HOT OFF THE PRESSES) that Robert, Taylor, and Kristen will be on hand to personally introduce a never-before-seen exclusive clip—and we are praying to see more of the gown.

Also note Bella’s terrified grip on Charlie (CHARLIE! WE LOVE YOU!) and the up-close shot of her gold engagement ring, which was actually designed by Stephanie Meyer and inspired by Victorian Era jewelry.

Oh, speaking of Victorian, wait until you get a glimpse of the coldest brotha out there: Robert Pattinson all dolled up in his vampire-y, old school best. Not only does the vamp have TAILS, but a nice little pocket square, looking just as dapper as can be. Obvi he’d wear tails, he’s like a bajillion years old and a total gentleman and wouldn’t want his wedding day anything other than proper and classy (that’s what you get when you are with a Cullen, gals). On the right, we definitely see Esme and Carlisle (is she wearing purple?) and if any reader can identify the gal in the empire dress (Eagle-eyed reader Amber says it's Carmen of the Denali Clan), we’d sure be thankful.
