After a brief recap of last week's part one 13 chefs compete, we get started back in Hell's Kitchen.
The drama with Robyn and Kimmie continues.
We are preparing for the first ever fashion show in Hell's Kitchen.

The men are quickly distracted by hot models on the runway. The res team criticize the models lack of eating, being too skinny.
Raw scallops, over cooked scallops, the women mess up - well Tiffany messed up, but wouldn't admit it even though Barbie tried to tell her they were no good.
Blue seems to be a bit more on top of things getting some appies out.
The usual chaos ensues. The fashion show runs and Ramsay gets the teams prepped for once the runway ends and they start entrees. Barbie can't recall how many of each meat, Robyn knows then goes ghetto in the diary room - I seriously can't handle it. they either cast black women who are stereotypically ghetto-trash-talking, or they cast white trasy women to be ghetto-talking. WTF?
The men are once again distracted by the bikini clad women walking down the catwalk. There is a fire in a pan and some burned meat. Ramsay is less than thrilled - obvs.
The women run out of meat after overcooking and Robyn tries to send her team mates to the blue kitchen to swipe some. A few try, but chicken out. Robyn finally admits she doesn't have enough meat and wants some frmo blue. He tells her no she is a silly cow and makes her go ask this customer what she wants instead.
The women continue to mess up. Between cooking things wrong, or sending wrong things up it was just a mess. Tiffany won't take responsibility for the bad swordfish but finally the entrees all get out.
....
The Blue team fights over nominations as usual and they ended with Clemenza and Brian or Guy.... Guy....
Ramsay surveys the blue team and the majority seem to think Clemenza should go home.
They each say their piece as to why they shoudl stay, Clemenza is deffo mroepassionate and fights HARD to stay.... it pays off..
In the end, Clemenza gets sent back in line and Guy goes home. The red team cheers.

Hells Kitchen - 13 Chefs Compete
We continue from last night's elimination with two chefs at risk....

Danielle is sent home. The girls are in tears. Tiffany, Kimmie and Robyn are happy, the rest are sad.
The men are arguing too - blaming Patrick for their poor service. Royce seems to lead the brigade. HE needs to go!
the next morning Chef Ramsay presents trends in the food business. Models come out to show the food trends....
1950s - crazy colourful dishes - layered jello mold jiggler and tv dinners.
1970s - fondue (I love fondue)
1990s - asian fusion
The men are all excited about the hot models ha!
The challenge:
Fashion Night in Hell's Kitchen. David Meister, Amanda Che, Ian Soltani are the three guest judges, all fashion designers.
Each team produces 1 appetizer and 2 entrees (1 seafood and 1 poultry)
David like spicy, healthy, swordfish, Ian likes colourful, heavily seasoned Amanda likes healthy, not fatty
30 minutes....
During preparation Blue discusses swordfish, mushrooms, lobster medallion while Red is led by Dana the perfectionist.
The usual Hells kitchen drama continues with the bossy chef, the idiot chef, the lazy chef and so on.
Appetizer
Justin - they say it isn't visually appealing the foam looks gross, it doesn't look elegant or sophisticated and is too much food for an appetizer. Taste - the foam is too sweet and the rest is a bit bland.
Dana - mango broth with crab meat. Soup isn't elegant, can be messy, it does have some flavour.
Red Wins
The judges are super specific and picky - uh oh!
Poultry
Patrick - describes the dish as "thins the mucus" ew! They don't like the blob of sauce, they say it tastes interesting but there is no kick in it. They like it, they don't love it.
Tiffany - has something "fried" on her dish, which is not healthy. It also looks disgusting and the fashion crowd would clearly hate it. It is delicious they like the salad but the rest is greasy.
Blue wins
Seafood
Robyn - seabass with seasoning. They like the colour and the grape though it is a bit bland.
Guy - Swordfish with a lot of seasoning. They like the ingredients, plating and flavour. The don't like the sauce.
Blue and Red each get a vote, but the third vote means Blue wins
Kimmie is mad Robyn didn't add spice as instructed. The women are pissed, but the Blue team hasn't had a win yet have they? Of course this worsens the Red Teams arguing.
Blue gets money to shop in Malibu - new outfits, wine tasting, and a relaxing day. They have a personal shopper then go for wine tasting. They drink..... a lot.. their diary room talks later are hilarious.
Red gets to clean and set up a runway - it is not without bickering and argueing but they let loose at the end with some hilarious catwalks and poses. Tiffany and Robyn burp and laugh and snort and fart while the other ladies look over in disgust.
When the Blue team returns, hammered the red team gets upset again.
Both teams go to bed early, but Clemenza wakes up early and is loud trying to wake everyone else up...
Kimmie goes nuts and is using a punching bag outside. She is ready to kill Robyn, who was on "her side" but clearly isn't anymore.
Fashion Night begins....
Ramsay explains how the show will go and emphasizes the timing of food. Kimmie and Royce are chosen to help plate food and Ramsay warns that these customers are not easy to please.
Clemenza starts cooking scallops before the doors even open... I seriously don't even GET how people make such stupid mistakes.
Looks like Clemenza may be sent home right then and there, also looks like the red kitchen drames some of the blue kitchen and sets them up for failure....

Reality TV Update - Monday June 18
Lot's on tonight....
Bachelorette - A few surprises, good and meh.... Emily is falling in love in Croatia and with her daughter back home, who knows if her wild side will come out. Read my whole recap here.
Hell's Kitchen - 14 chefs compete, the recap is here.
Master Chef - 16 chef compete. From feeding marines, to making apple pie, this is a great episode that had not just me in tears. See the recap here.

Hell's Kitchen - 14 chefs compete
Last week somehow I missed an episode of Hells Kitchen and so tonight I learned that both teams lost and nominated two people and Don went home, Roshni movies to Men's Blue Team.

Blue welcomes Roshni and Red Team is still divided.
They have bouncing balls all over the dining room and they grab them - each has food items / ingredients on them. These are the items they can use for the contest - 35 minutes for 5 traditional Mexicain dishes.
They all make a dish then the team picks the top 5 to present to guest judges.
1 - Tacos
Royce - Pork
Kimmie - Shrimp
Red wins
2 - Burritos
Danielle - falling apart, hard to eat
Clemenza - Mexican/Italian flavour the judges like
Blue wins
3 - Soup
Tiffany - crab salsa soup
Justin - pickle shrimp tortilla soup
Red wins
4 - Enchilada
Christina - not sure?
Patrick - lobster
Blue wins
5 - Tostada
Roshni - crab chili grilled tostada
Dana - ahi tuna
Blue and Red each get one vote from the judge so Ramsay is the tie breaker

Reward - Gourmet Lunch and big surprise. They eat at Riveriera with one of the guest judges. Then they get salsa dancing lessons and apparently drink more judging by their diary room bits.
Punishment - Blue team has "Mexican Night" preparation. Salsa by hand, prep both kitchens. Their lunch is something disgusting. Men cut and cut and cut ingredients in preparation and tensions are high, particularily between Clemenza and Patrick.
The women returns in a festive mood, which worsens the mens mood.
Later Royce bitches to Danielle about the challenge. Tiffany doesn't like it and sets a "no bitching policy" then after drinking a bottle of booze she goes gossiping to others ina drunken slur. She gets the whole conversation and its participants incorrect.
The next morning Robyn decides to address it and everything is messed up. Tiffany sitys as Kimmie yells at poor Dana and Danielle for something they didnèt say (Royce had said it ... Tiffany was drunk and mixed up who said what when she reported to the team)
DRAMA
The kitchen opens and women are not getting along. They start off with mussles that arenèt done correctly. Blue kitchen has minimal success.
Kimmie and Dana have a fight because Kimmie told her to put fish on same tray as meat. THEN THEY SERVE RAW PORK. Danielleès fault. Ridiculous!
Meanwhile, Blue is doing better, but not by much.
Patrick is tossed out along with Guy.
Next Danielle is kicked out of the kitchen after a second round of raw pork.
Then Clemenza and get kicked out for.... raw pork!
Barbie is then kicked out for needing a thermo for chicken
Tiffany has burned mashed potatoes and is also kicked out bringing our total to 7 people.
Royce makes 8 and Blue now has Brian and Roshni left.
The remaining chefs work hard, but it is just amazing how many were kicked out. Both teams lose and have to choose nominees...
Nominees:

They all argue to stay, I could have them all leave and be fine to shorten this season to be honest...
NO one goes home - it is to be continued - luckily it is on tomorrow!

Reality TV Update - Monday June 11, 2012
It's a busy night for reality tv, Bachelorette, Masterchef and Hells Kitchen.
I am watching everything and will update this post with some links to full recaps and some opinions of what went down on tv tonight.
Masterchef - I still need to watch.
Hells Kitchen - RECAP HERE. Maybe I am just too tired, but it wasn't that interesting an episode.
Bachelorette - WAS an interesting episode. I did a full recap here. But there were some surprises.
Tomorrow: Masterchef, Hells Kitchen, Love in the Wild.
Later this week: SYTYCD, ABDC, and more!

The girls are not happy with Barbie. Robyn and Kimmie are losing their minds yelling at her.
New day, Barbie wakes up early and noisily cleans, banging dishes and stomping as she cleans. Out comes Tiffany losing her mind, threatening to choke out Barbie. Robyn is ready to snap too and drama is causing all hell to break lose until Chef Ramsay calls them all down stairs to the kitchen where a room of people are singing America the Beautiful in an immigration ceremony.
Chef Ramsay challanges the chefs to serve them all. Which ever team fees their entire side of the kitchen wins. The menu? Cobb Salad then choice of sliders, pizza or grilled cheese.
Royce is on salads and holds up the men's side. Women struggle with communication.
The Ladies win and get to go to San Diego safari via private jet, while the men get to do some hard labour...
The giraffes lick the girls and they all celebrate with Chef Ramsay. The men lift trees and clear our land.
Later that night Hells Kitchen is ready to open....
American heroes attend and Chef Ramsay is hoping they can actually complete dinner service tonight... I however, am not as optimistic.
Blue starts off well with Royce on Appies. On the floor Don can't spell so his tickets are slow and hold up the men, but the kitchen does well getting food out. Clamenza can't tell time and quotes 20 minutes to the pass, then 15 then he isn't sure - when he brings it up it is cooked perfectly, and the men continue to excel.
Red team starts with soupy spaghetti and Dana is bombing on appies. She finally gets her footing and things start to come out. barbie messes up scallops - again - Ramsay is pissed because it was for a VIP table of firemen. Christina helps out and keeps the red team going.
Both kitchens struggle at times and it seems like they may get through dinner service... Briana keeps burning fish which messes with Kimmie's timing of entrees, which they have to remake. Clemenza runs out of wellington he is supposed to bemaking for the marines on meat station and is forced to go out and reccommend the NY strip instead.
Red gets kicked out of the kitchen and is the obvious loser. They put forth Briana and Barbie, then Dana.
Robyn tells Chef Ramsay Briana and Barbie. Ramsay calls forward Roshni as well. In the end Chef Ramsay sends Briana home.
The ladies are still pissed barbie is till there... more drama to come surely.

Reality TV - Tuesday June 5
Tonight was another reality television night.
Masterchef
Auditions #2 was tonight and it didn't disappoint. Like last night there were some good, some bad and some questionable. As I said last night I will recap and blog episodes once auditions are over. It is just too hard for me before that point... and I am feeling lazy ha! Last night I listed a few names from Auditions #1. I missed the tall guy who everyone asked if he was a basketball player - he was awesome! Tonight a few stand outs included Felix (first gal), the dessert girl who ran for a rolling pin, the cowboys were entertaining at least, but the horse riding one got through. I also loved the husband and wife combo.
Love in the Wild
I seriously can't understand why I watch this show... but I do. It is usually my background show while I do other things online and my recaps are pretty vague idf I can remember names. I will try to do better this time, but no guarantees. Tonight's episode was a good start. I love Jenny McCarthy as host and the nick names the contestents used for each other("boobs mcgee") helped me since I usually have to refer to them by nicknames (Have you seen my Bachelorette recaps? "head injury guy" and "egg dude" and "long haired boy" LOL Sorry, I am not detail focused - CLEARLY!) Read my recap from tonight here....

Hells Kitchen - Episode 2
First they were woken up at 6am by loud rap music... then, in their PJs raced down stairs where their first challenge began...
More...
Digging through the ice piles they had to find all the scallops. This was tough as some were in barefoot, PJs and Royce even got a split bloddy nose.
Once completed they had the challenge to prepare 6 scallop dishes. The women took an early lead and win the challenege.
Men are left to clean up the ice pile while women head for a yacht party to Catalina with Chef Ramsay.
Men eat poorly cooked scallops turned into shakes and Royce and Brian have conflict. Meanwhile, Women feast and toast and zip line and laugh and play.
Before second dinner service, men seem united but the women struggle to get along, communicate and share... Robyn and Barbie have beef over stupid things and it seems dinner service will be a challange because of this.
In addition to the regular menu items they have table side shrimp scampi appetizer. Christina and Brian are on the floor preparing these table side and the rest are intheir team kitchens.
Don struggles with pizza under Chef Ramsay's observation, which he admits makes him nervous. These nerves, or lack of skills lead to a burned AND raw pizza... go figure!
Both kitchens have issues throughout dinner service - no surprise!
Additionally, raw and overcooked shrimp for a table on the blue team leads to Brian getting shouted at from Ramsay.
Things get intense in both kitchens, but two hours into service, the red kitchen gets kicked out. The ladies lose it and it's yelling, screaming, hissy fits. Tiffany is throwing things and Kimmie is swearing.
The blue kitchen is not far behind and is kicked out of the kitchen also.
This seems common nowadays - they never get through the dinner service. If I was going as a guest I would try for near the end when I could at least get some food in my belly after two hours of listening to Ramsay scream in the kitchen.
Red Team/ Ladies as well as the Blue Team / Men both lose "A sinking ship and a runaway train"
They both need to come up with two names to put forward for judging/be sent home.
The men seem to be on the same page, mostly, with Chris (who even nominated himself) some suggest Don, but others think Royce. Guy says if a man can't man up he should go home... looks like Royce as 2nd nomination? I guess we will see who they ask, each person seems to have a different 2nd choice.
The red team all agrees on Barbie also.. Tiffany is still losing her mind while Kimmie offers to up against Barbie to send her home. The ladies agree on Roshni, who is not impressed as she doesn't deserve to be up based on tonight's service.
Red: Barbie who isn't a team player and Roshni.
Blue: Chris based on performance tonight and Royce based on performance on garnish.
Ramsay calls all four forward and Roshni explains how she was just the second vote. Barbie says Kimmie and Robyn are worst chefs for bringing down the moral.
Royce talks about his dedication and says his performance tonight isn't representative of his abilities. Chris says he is a strong cook, with passion and desire and admits he messed up tonight and owned it.
Ramsay made some snide remarks in response to them all, he then calls Roshni and Royce to return to line.
In the end, Ramsay says it is difficult and says truthfully they should both be going home, he calls Barbie and sends her back in line then takes Chris' jacket.
Chris heads home, sadly. But we need the girlie drama for the show so of course Barbie will stay to keep Kimmie and Robyn talking ghetto and threatening her.

and as if on cue, Robyn moans and whines about Barbie... Barbie talks smack back and then Ramsay finishes off with him clever one liner...

Digging through the ice piles they had to find all the scallops. This was tough as some were in barefoot, PJs and Royce even got a split bloddy nose.
Once completed they had the challenge to prepare 6 scallop dishes. The women took an early lead and win the challenege.
Men are left to clean up the ice pile while women head for a yacht party to Catalina with Chef Ramsay.
Men eat poorly cooked scallops turned into shakes and Royce and Brian have conflict. Meanwhile, Women feast and toast and zip line and laugh and play.
Before second dinner service, men seem united but the women struggle to get along, communicate and share... Robyn and Barbie have beef over stupid things and it seems dinner service will be a challange because of this.
In addition to the regular menu items they have table side shrimp scampi appetizer. Christina and Brian are on the floor preparing these table side and the rest are intheir team kitchens.
Don struggles with pizza under Chef Ramsay's observation, which he admits makes him nervous. These nerves, or lack of skills lead to a burned AND raw pizza... go figure!
Both kitchens have issues throughout dinner service - no surprise!
Additionally, raw and overcooked shrimp for a table on the blue team leads to Brian getting shouted at from Ramsay.

The first episode was tonight and we saw the good, the bad and the ugly. Hells Kitchen kicked off tonight. If you missed it, I have your recap, as well as my opinions... just read on.... Also, check out the contestents bio's here.
It started with Sexy Chef Scott showing his photo before he met Chef Gordon Ramsey. He had hair.. and if it is possible, he was even hotter than he is now.... *sigh* If you are new to my Hell's Kitchen Recaps, let me warn you, I have a hard crush on Chef Scott. Anyways, Scott asks who else is willing to shave their heads. One male does, One Female does... ramsey stops them before anyone else gets their heads shaved and it is revealed that the two who were shaved are in deed Chef Scott's friends ha ha!
They go work on their signature dishes and the season is off to a bang....

In the morning the chefs start prep with their new knives. Men seem more confident than the women who are a bit frazzled and nervous.
Chef Ramsay arrives and ANNOUNCES it is the 125th dinner service. He drills a few of the chefs and the women clearly are not up to par.
Dinner Service Begins and the women are struggling with appetizers and sends Roshni upstairs. Barbie steps in and things get on track. Blue is not doing much better as Royce struggles on appies also.
The usual chaos ensues with Chef Ramsay yelling "RAW" and "WTF" and so on. Tavon the alleged executive chef not only doesn't cook well he prepped the scallops that are so poorly done they can't be cooked or even used.
Blue team loses "ya you suck at least red team finished appetizers"
They nominate: Tavon and Don. Chef disagrees and calls Royce down with Tavon.
Tavon is sent home.
Obviously.
Too early to pick favourites yet....
And so we continue with another season of drama in the kitchen. Any faves yet?

Reality TV Time Once Again
It has been a while since my last full post on Reazlity TV though I have done individual show posts plenty.... things are building up for the busy season again...
It's that time again, when there is way too much Reality Television on and my PVR is always full and I never run out of things to say..... excited? I thought so!
Bachelorette

Celebrity Apprentice
First of all, I wanted Audrey in the finale. Second of all, I thought Clay should have beat Arsenio. Ah well.
The Voice
I was not thrilled with the winner, but content. See my post here.
American Idol
I do not want Jessica to win. I wish she was eliminated the first time but the judges used their stupid save on her. I really though she would go home last week, but Josh was sent home. I have been rooting for the very sexy, very talented, very raw sounding, Phillip Phillips since day one and I hope he wins. I fear Jessica might. Either way, they are all talented, I just know thet regardless they will all have successful careers. In fact, I think those that do NOT win can pursue more rewarding careers than the show can provide. Who knows - I am rooting for PP and I will buy his cd and go to see him in concert.... I will not for Jessica.
SYTYCD
New season starts soon - SQUEE! It feels like it has been so long., THey cancelled SYTYCD Canada which is depressing, but at least the American version returns this week. THings will be different this season, for one there is only one two-hour episode a week, also there will be one male and one female winner at the end. THey will use the previous weeks votes and reveal them after the routines are performed so they aren't nervous during the routines.

Ramsey returns in a couple weeks with a new season of Hell's Kitchen.

Of course it comes down to one American and One British model. I really love Sophie since forever and hope she takes it home!
Big Brother
It seems like just yesterday I had my wisdome teeth surgery and was high and bed-ridden and watching live feed for Big Brother *sigh* last summer... the good ol' days. I have heard strange buzz about this season... Thursday July 12 it returns, I will be at SDCC but will PVR it for sure!

This show was so bad, but I had to watch it, Jenny McCarthy is hosting, she is also apparently doing playboy again.... anyhow, it is on this summer and I will probably watch.
X Factor
Well there are some new judges, and I will watch.... but I am still bitter I didn't get in last year when I had tickets and waited in line all day... grrr...
What am I missing?

Hell's Kitchen Finale
Hell's Kitchen came to and end and I have to say, out of the final two, I thought Will would win, but I am not disappointed with Paul.
Both were talented and theonly complaint I had about the finale was that Elise was in it! Really? Top 3? She was not even top 10 in my book!
Tommy's gf and mom came to visit and the young girl was really attractive, much to everyone's surprise. Paul's brother came, Elise's son and husband and Will's wife and mother I think....
Paul won the first challenge in replicating a dish Chef Ramsay made. He and his brother got to go to a dodger's game where Ramsay threw the first pitch!
In the cooking challenge it was close, but Will came out on top allowing him first pick of team mate int he final dinner service.
The final challenge of course had them create their own menu items and past cooks returned, they picked teams and did the final Hell's Kitchen Dinner Service.
Overall this wa a good season, I ahted that they kept "drama Elise" for ratings, to be honest, she made me not want to watch the show, she wasn't even the "fun" kind of drama.
Ah Well. I hope they do another season soon, I would love to attend Hell's Kitchen to eat once....

September TV Time - Fall Premieres
** UPDATED **
Well, I went to set my PVR (DVR) tonight for the week and I just about died at how many shows conflict!
What did we do before DVRs? I know I used to have a vcr tape in one room and another in the other if two shows were on at the same time. Now, I have EST c hannels and PST so if more than 2 shows are on at 8pm I can record two at 8pm EST (5pm here) then the other(s) at 8pm PST.
My DVR can only record two at once. There is one I could get that does three at once, but my husband says that is "pushing it" ha ha
Anyways, this week brings back some favourite shows as well as some new shows.
What I hate about new shows is that few last. I will record and get really into them only to have them cancelled. My new "technique" is to let several episodes build up before watching. Though I did that with Combat Hospital and I still haven't seen a single episode. Off the Map was similar I finally watched half the season a week ago! The Event... same thing!
Anyways, here is what my PVR looks like this week, don't judge!
Monday
DWTS - New season starts, I actually care less about this show each week. I really want to but it is a lot of time to watch and after a summer of non-stop SYTYCD (The obviously better dance show) I am not sure how much I can committ. I will likely start watching Tuesday only with the highlights and results. We will see. Plus, I do not see any "stars" this season - I mean really?
Hells Kitchen - Finale. I am pulling for Will at this point.
Two and a Half Men - Ashton takes over for Charlie Sheen - this will be interesting. My husband claims he won't watch now that Charlie is gone, yet asked to make sure all my "crap" didn't interupt taping it ha ha. FUNNY PHOTO.
The Sing-Off - More singing shows. I always at least give it a chance.
Hawaii Five-O - I gave up on this a while ago because I was just too busy, but I want to watch.
2 Broke Girls - This looks hilare and is short and sweet.
Playboy Club - Looks good!
Roast of Charlie Sheen - Can't wait to watch this ha ha oh Charlie Sheen you are fucking cray-cray!

Hells Kitchen Top 5
Tonight's episode began with our Top 5, Tommy, Paul, Jennifer, Will and Elise, in their black chef coats. I still do not get how or why Elise is there except that she is drama.
The first challenge had them re-making ugly dishes such as meatloaf, lasagna, tuna casserole, eggplant parm and chicken and dumplings. They had to race around the resturant to grab the plate with the item named on it that they would like to make...

Five Special guest judges ranked them out of 10 each (50 total) on presentation and again (same ranking) on taste. Here is how it worked out:
Tommy - Chicken & Dumplings
Presentation - 44
Taste - 30

I was pretty impressed with how his looked, nice colours, though the liquid was a turn-off he had floating onions like "lily pads" that actually did look "pretty"
Paul - Tuna Casserole
Presentation - 33
Taste - 27
Total - 60
I'd say epic fail on all fronts. He didn't want this dish, he got stuck with it, he used canned tuna which sealed his fate.
Jennifer - Lasagna

She opened by saying she hates lasanga - not exactly a great kick-off. It did look nice, but if I was making it, I would have done lasagna rolls, where you roll and fill a lasagna noodle, so pretty.

They went head to head with current guests and although both had issues in the kitchen 96 % of guests would return tot he current chefs kitchen vs 80% to past guests.
As a reward Ramsay did not send anyone home, even though Jennifer and Elise were the two at risk.
Jennifer alsoa dmited her crush on Paul, in case she was sent home she had to let him know - adorable!

She opened by saying she hates lasanga - not exactly a great kick-off. It did look nice, but if I was making it, I would have done lasagna rolls, where you roll and fill a lasagna noodle, so pretty.
Returning Chefs came including Ben s5, Tennille s6, Trevor s8, Jillian s8, Van s6.
They went head to head with current guests and although both had issues in the kitchen 96 % of guests would return tot he current chefs kitchen vs 80% to past guests.
As a reward Ramsay did not send anyone home, even though Jennifer and Elise were the two at risk.
Jennifer alsoa dmited her crush on Paul, in case she was sent home she had to let him know - adorable!

Hells Kitchen Top 9
Tonight's episode of Hell's Kitchen included some interesting desserts, a trip to Vegas, more Carrie vs. Elise and a shocking ending. One of my Top 4 was sent packing and after Jonathan's departure last week, I am now left with only 2 of my Top 4 remaining.
From sticky buns, to playboy playmates, Tonight's episode was pretty awesome.

The first challenge was to make desserts for guest judges Waylynn Lucas and Jordan Kahn.
After some disagreement, the Red Team left Elise's giant cup of something out of the competition. Jennifer volunteered her's out first to stop the fighting but Carrie was adament about removing Elise's.
Blue vs. Red
Tommy's Sticky Buns (which he makes for his 19 year old girlfriend, yes he is 31) got a total of 2 stars
vs. Jaime's bread pudding which for a total of 3 stars
Paul's banana polenta got 3 stars from each judge for a total of 6 stars
vs. Lis'z ricotta something or other which only got 3 stars.
Natalie's espresson bread pudding brough in a total of 3 stars
vs. Carrie's Blondie which only got 2 stars
Finally Will got 2 stars for his dessert vs. Jennifer who got 6 stars giving the Red Team the win!
Chef Ramsay had the judges taste Elise's dessert and they said it smelled like vinegar and was disgusting, so Carrie was right in having it removed instead of Jennifer's who gave them the win with 6 stars!

The ladies went to Vegas and stayed in an amazing villa. They met Holly madison the playboy playmate and won a trip to return to Vegas after Hell's Kitchen ends!

Reality TV Update August 12, 2011
I was away for a few days camping, but spent today unpacking and catching up on this week's reality tv shows. This was my update on Monday including BB13, Bachelor Pad, Hells Kitchen, Masterchef and more.
Everyone saw "America" voted Brendon back in *gag* I truly feel this is a CBS rigging. I have seen tweets from past houseguests who alluded to the manipulation of producers, and maybe it is my own bias, but I just can NOT believe that American voted BRENDON back in.... *shrugs*
Anyhow, he played Lawon, let's face it, ANYONE would beat Lawon, and now we have to endure Brenchel once more.
Due to live feeds I know who is new HoH and who that person nominates and I have to say it is all quite a shocker. Spoiler Post here
I already did a recap and review of Monday's episode before I left, but today I watched Tuesday's episode and was fairly upset. I really liked Jonathan, but he fell apart and had to go. I was shocked to see Natalie beside him and at risk to be sent home. I really peg her as a finalist to behonest. I am so sick of the Elise vs. Carrie dramaz but it looks like it hits its breaking point next week based onthe previews. Let's hope!

We are now down to the Final 4 after a devestating elimination Tuesday evening. I have to say, it has been between Christian, Jennifer and Adrien the past few weeks for me, but I absolutely love Ben and loathe Suzy. And even within those top 3, I think Christian is far too cocky and hate that his cooking is so good! I'd love to see Adrien or Jennifer win, but after tonight we know Ben will not as he was sent home, sadly. I will miss his smile and crazy printed chef hats, but I am ready to see what the final 4 can bring in this competition. Full recap here.
I did an entire post on this week's episode only because it was a lot of insanity in one show. They moved to Argentina, but not before a massive Toga party, then they fought, then they di d a helicopter awesome challenge, then they had to think individually - gasp! and in the end we didn't get to the challenge.... it was To Be Continued... I was so glad to see Skip and Theresa go. Of the remaning 6 people, 3 couples, they had the weakest connection it seemed. I really enjoyed the challenge of swimming and coins and so on, but what was best was the end. Of course now they have connections, no one is going to choose someone else, so they had a "newlywed" game style contest to see who knew their partners best. It was fun and I am so happy to see Mike and Sam along with Miles and Heather in the finals. I think both have a good connection but I am rooting for Miles and Heather simply because I think they have the BETTER connection and Mike and Sam have won everything so far! It's a cute show and I am excited to hear they will do a season 2!
I am always terrified and shocked by this show. They are in Italy, and Deena can't stay on her own two feet, she stumbles all over sober or drunk, she and PaulyD are besties somehow and want to hook-up without ruining the friendship like Vinnie and Snooki. The Situation is all interested in Snooks now, because they hooked up before the season and she has a "serious" boyfriend (who we know doesn't last) it is chaos. Meanwhile, Ronnie and Sammi are over and ok with it, until they are drunk then she is a blubbering whiney leech again. I am so over them - I have been - they are so unhealthy for each other, I kind of wish Sammi didn't even go to Italy to be honest. Drunk, Single ROnnie is hilarious. Sammi - drunk, sober, anywhich way, is a bore or an annoyance.
Well, I called it almost from day one. I favoured Mel and Marko, along with Ryan, all along. I was really impressed with the finale performance show as well as the results show / finale. I loved all the new routines and repeated favourites from the season. It was awesome to see everyone again on the show and re-live the fantastic season!
Some favourites include: Matt Flint, Nick Young and Jess LeProtto tap routine, Tadd and Joshua doind Lil C's routine, Melanie and Robert doing Stacey Tookeys routine, oh I could go on and on - it was just a great two-evening finale!
I am glad the season is over, because SYTYCD Canada is only at Top 12 and to be honest, seeing SYTYCD Monday, Tuesday (Canada) then Wednesday, Thursday (USA) was a tad exhausting. I found it really hard to switch gears between the two. I mean Canada's is shorter, especially since I fast-forward through Leah Miller and most of the judges, PLUS our results show is only a half-hour, no filler, just the facts.... but still - I enjoy SYTYCD so much I wish the seasons did not overlap. Luckily, they don't always.

SYTYCD Canada
I did my performance post of the Top 14 here. I only just watched the results show tonight and have done a post on that below (scroll down). Overall, I am ok with the results, but really, Carlena should have stayed a few more weeks at least. There were females weaker than her I would have prefered to see leave. Ah Well! I am rooting for Jordan and Joey at this point. Still.

Hells Kitchen - Tuesday August 9, 2011
I am late in this recap because I was camping. See Monday's episode details here.
This episode kicked off where Monday's ended, right after elimination.
Teams were asked to pick a team leader. The red team seemed to think Jennifer would be the best leader, while Carrie thought Carrie would be best. On the Blue team they were quick to decide Will would make the strongest leader.
Of course none of this mattered, because when they met with Chef Ramasay the next morning he asked who the worst leader would be and then Tommy and Carrie became the leaders for the challenge. Fantastic!
The task: re-work 5 comfort classics; Pizza, Cobb Salad, Chicken Noodle Soup, Spaghetti and a burger.
After very little leadership from Tommy and quite in-your-face leadership from Carrie the teams presentes their dishes to a mystery judge... Wolfgang Puck. This brought ooh's and ahh's and even tears to some wanna-be chef's faces!
Cobb Salad

This was the kicker. Jonathan wanted to make the pizza his way but leader Tommy insisted it had to be with certain ingredients which Jonathan didn't know or want to use. In the long run he just did it and then refused to present it, wanting TOmmy to take it up. After Gordon Ramsay got mad Jonathan reluctantly brought it up. Carrie's dough was not cooked and Jonathan's had soupy sauce on top - no point awarded.
So out of 5 possible points, the Red Team won 2-1 - embarassing? Yes! But the red team celebrated anyways.
The ladies went to a comedy club while the men cleaned and prepped for Hell's Kitchen.... well.. not Jonathan who had a kink in his neck *boo hoo*
The comedian was pretty funny - she made fun of this feather fascinator Elise was wearing "did a bird fly into your head?" and also made Hell's Kitchen jokes:
"If I was in labour I'd want Ramsay in there.... 'GET OUT'... of course then the baby would pop out and he would say 'IT IS RAW' ha ha"
The ladies also won some cookware - they were pretty happy.
That night in Hell's kitchen pasta seemed to be troublesome for the cooks on both sides. The women, however, pulled together and were compared to a symphony.
Props to the Hell's Kitchen producers and sound guys who did a nice montage of the red kitchen cooking to symphony orchestra music, then the Blue kitchen in utter chaos.
Ramsay pulled Jonathan aside, he whined his neck hurt, well he said he had "limited mobility" to which Ramsay reminded him of two seasons ago when Dave broke his arm but came back to WIN....
Anyhow, after messing up and taking too long to serve the VIP table (Coast Guards) Ramsay was on his last nerve and the Blue team absolutely blew it!
In the end Elise actually pulled through on meat station which was especially busy and Blue lost sending the two from the appetizer station up, Natalie and Jonathan.
I liked them both, but after the performances it was clear Jonathan would be sent home... I was quite shocked to see Natalie even at risk to go home as I really see her with the potential to make it to the finals and possible win.
At this point I would say Will, Jaime or Natalie have the best shot, though Jennifer has her moments also, I feel because of her size and shape, it may be a challenge (she was sweating in the food when running tableside a few episodes ago) but we will see.

Reality TV Update August 8, 2011
I am doing this early this week because I am going camping until Friday and won't get to see all the wonderful reality tv episodes this week until then.
I made up for it tonight though... I watched Hells Kitchen, Bachelor Pad 2 Premiere, Masterchef and SYTYCD Canada Top 4 Results. Yes, all in one night after running errands all day and packing all night. I am an insomniac, multi-taker and clearly crazy!
But, let's move onto reality tv tonight shall we?
Bachelor Pad
Finally, season 2 premiered tonight and it did NOT disappoint. We have the Vienna, Kasey, Jake triangle, the ex-engaged couple, previous hookups, haters, and overall a lot of drama. Jake and Jackie won the first challenge and stupidly gave the 3rd rose to Vienna as a peace offering. The crazy bitch didn't care and the women almost sent out Vienna's boyfriend Kasey. I almost feel bad for Kasey to be honest, Vienna is so mean to him! In the end it was Canadian wrestler, Rated-R Superstar who went home along with Ali. The two were flip-flopping "sides" and sent packing. It looks like a great season of drama.

The top 14 performed. It wasn't the best I have seen this season but I did a recap and power rankings here if you wish to read details. I am still team Jordan and Joey!
Hells Kitchen
There was the ongoing drama of Carrie & Elise. Did you notice Elise has a tattoo on her chest... it says "Elise" *eye roll* I dislike her greatly, but realize she stays for entertainment value only. Even Jamie and her had it out tonight! There was a cool challenge in the first half of the episode where they made food using beer, mmmm, my husband enjoyed that part! Dinner Service had drama as always but in the end it was Krupa who went home.
MasterChef
This episode felt like Hells Kitchen as contestents were in the kitchen at Patina serving guests. Red Team was Ben & Christian led by team leader Suzy. Blue team was Adrian & Jennifer led by team captain Tracy. Ramsay ran the kitchen and it truly felt like Hells Kitchen final 6. Red struggled in the start but pulled together after switching Ben to a different station. In the end it was the Blue team sent to the pressure test where they had a king salmon to scale, fillet, portion and cook to perfection.
Tracy, Adrian and Jennifer began the pressure test after watching the master Chef Ramsay do it with such ease, they were in for an eye-opener when they actually attempted it.
Adrian took a long time to scale the fish and his portions were not perfect. Tracy left a lot on the bones and much of the tail. Jennifer did an excellent job portioning and had next to no waste but a few scales remainging.
As far as cooking Jennifers was slightly undercooked, Adrian's over cooked and Tracy's was undercooked.
In the end Tracy went home.
BIG BROTHER
Sunday's Show announced Kalia's nominations, Jeff and Rachel. Of course since then the Power of Veto has been played, won and possibly used? If you want to know more read my spoiler post from this morning

Blue team was Adrian & Jennifer led by team captain Tracy. Ramsay ran the kitchen and it truly felt like Hells Kitchen final 6. Red struggled in the start but pulled together after switching Ben to a different station. In the end it was the Blue team sent to the pressure test where they had a king salmon to scale, fillet, portion and cook to perfection.
Tracy, Adrian and Jennifer began the pressure test after watching the master Chef Ramsay do it with such ease, they were in for an eye-opener when they actually attempted it.
Adrian took a long time to scale the fish and his portions were not perfect. Tracy left a lot on the bones and much of the tail. Jennifer did an excellent job portioning and had next to no waste but a few scales remainging.
As far as cooking Jennifers was slightly undercooked, Adrian's over cooked and Tracy's was undercooked.
In the end Tracy went home.
BIG BROTHER
Sunday's Show announced Kalia's nominations, Jeff and Rachel. Of course since then the Power of Veto has been played, won and possibly used? If you want to know more read my spoiler post from this morning

Reality TV Update August 3, 2011
There is a lot going on this week in reality tv so let's get right to it.
Bachelorette
Ashley chose JP, this wasn't a surprise as they had been spotted together by tabloids weeks ago. I still really wanted her to pick Ben so JP could be the next Bachelor, but what's done is done. I dislike Ashley EVEN more now after she let poor Ben get down on one knee and propose. Heart-wrenching! The after the final rose was good, nice to see some of the men return, though no clear indicator on the next Bachelor. Was looking like Ryan for a while, but they didn't announce it and they focused a lot on his negatives, so who knows.
Great promo for Bachelor Pad which starts next week - I can NOT wait. I really think the show is better than Bachelor/ette because it's everyone reunited with baggage and resentment and greed... for love or money. It is crazy how incestuous the Bachelor/ette family is. DRAMA ... and great tv.
Hells Kitchen
I have to say Elise must only be there for drama, as she is not a good cook, or a nice person. Yes, Carrie is ditzy and slow, but she can cook better than Elise! During compeition Elise veto's Carrie's dish without tasting which cost them the win in the end, allowing the blue team to go to the spa. We gt two episodes a week vs one two-hour episode a week like last season. On Monday Krupa served strip loin as veal during a competition, then during service had soupy risotto and undercooked pasta, a train wreck! In the end Gina went home. The next night, not surprisingly was Monterray. I do have to say I enjoyed the Blue win on Tuesday night, yaht party with plenty of booze - was hilarious fun watching Natalie as the only female, mingle with the boys! I was surprise also that Elizabeth stayed - she was the red team rep who met with the high school reunion committee. The committee told the cooks HAWAIIAN THEMED - - - Elizabeth runs back and says "ASIAN THEMED" she is a complete idiot!
Master Chef
I am not a Christian fan, his ego is just too much! I really do love Jennifer for putting Christian in his place. Monday we had the feeding children episode where Christan bossed his team (Adrien, Derrick and Jennifer) around and lost with a turkey burger and apple fries with carmel sauce. The other team (Tracy, Ben,and Suzy, led by Christine) worked together and had a chicken nugget burger with ranch and lettuce along with corn fritters. Despite Ramsay's criticism of the food being too greasy and deep fried, they won the most votes from the kids. In the Pressure test they made a cheese souffle and much to my dismay - everyone stayed. Tuesday's episode, however, two went home and after re-creating Ramsay's favourite childhood dish of tomatoe soup and grilled cheese, it was Christine and Derrick that left us.

What a week! I did a complete blog on the performance show here, as well as the result show here. I was, as you will read, in complete shock at two of the bottom three couples! Tragic to send home such talented dancers already!
Take the Money and Run
This new show looked great in previews and after the extended promo iduring the Bachelorette Finale, I was hooked! I still can not believe the brother cracked under pressure - my husband and I watched together (this is rare, he dislikes 80% of the shows I watch, especially anything "reality") and we discussed all of our strategies if we were on the show... mwahahaha Of course in watching we kept saying "I'd have done this" or "they should've done that" or "i could do that better"
Big Brother
Tonight CBS aired the veto results. I have live feeds so I am constantly blogging spoilers (under a cut so as not to piss off people who want to wait to see it on television) but I dont get to see diary room sessions or competitions, so tonight's show was really awesome! I am so much more aware of editing for tv now that I have live feeds and then watchi the shows version of what is going on... very interesting! Brendon and Rachel are on the block, Brendon won POV and pretended he would use it on himself, but really used it on Rachel... thinking he would "trick" everyonw (he did, they believed he was taking himself off) but in reality Dani wanted Brendon gone, so really, things are still going as plan, the replacement nominee was Jordan, who no one will vote out - she is too nice, friendly and she is a great person to take to final two since she has already won before and I highly doubt a jury would award her money again - unless she was up against Rachel LOL American loves to HATE Rachel!

Tomorrow night is the results show and I am nervous for the final 6. Who will make it to the finale. To be honest, Rickey and Caitlynn are the two I would send based on the whole season, but tonight, everyone brought it HARD so we shall see!
I really loved Marko and Caitlyn's piece by Sonya as well as Mel and Tadd's piece with the mirror. Twitch and Mel were amazing together also! I adore Mel and have been rooting for her to win for weeks. But Sasha and Kent were amazing together! Best solo was Mel also! I think it will be Marko, Tadd, Mel and Sasha as Top 4 - we shall see!
Storage Wars
I don't usually write on this but tonight Barry got a unit for $1500 and ended up with a $6000 "head" I like Barry because he collects... and because he wears those sexy skeleton gloves ha ha
I am NOT a Dave fan and Dave Jr. is even worse, but I have to say that I enjoyed learning why he is such a bully... when he bid HARD against the "stranger" that was his brother, who he allegedly trained and who ditched him!
Love in rhe Wild
Brandee and Ben who almost went home last week came in last this week after he continually put her down and insulted her. The adventure itself was entertaining as they searched for masks by going through various hikes and trails on horse, mud slide and so on. I felt bad for Brandee she is sweet, and when Steele started tos how interst in her over Erica I was hopeful, I have never really been a fan of Erica. Mike and Samantha who came in first stayed together, as did Miles and his partner and Theresa and her partner. Steele indeed DID ask Brandee to pair up and she declined his offer! Then Erica asked Steele back and he still said no, leaving them both in the unmatched area! Ben then asked Erica who said no... In the end all 4 went to the unmatched area and all went home! I wish Brandee would have stayed and accepted to go with Steele at least for another week - ah well!
Toddlers & Tiaras
I hate admitting that I watch this... I saw it once a while back and was disgusted, but somehow in the last few weeks I have stumbled upon itmore often (ok I set up a series record after catching a hilarious episode) and now I am sort of hooked. It is like a train-wreck, you can't look away!
Jersey Shore
Speaking of Train Wrecks, Jersey Shore just finished filming on seaside for NEXT season, meanwhile the Italy season begins tomorrow on MTV. This is ridiculous! I mean they are jamming as many seasons as they can in before people figure out these guys are IDIOTS and NOT WORTH THE TIME! That being said, I am addicted... it's sad and pathetic I know! But there is drama and fighting and stupidity - what's not to LOVE hating in a relaity tv show? ha!
