Breaking Dawn "Camping" Rules

Summit sent out these rules for the Breaking Dawn Premiere... Of course, their Ecipse rules were apparently not enforced, so let's see how this year rolls... Of course they just want publicity shots of crazed fans camped out for days - but if the line can't start until 6am Thursday and wristbands are issued then and there, wouldn't that mean that you could leave and return with wristband on event day? no?

And how the HALE are they going to keep people from milling about before 6am Thursday?
If I ruled the world - I would say line starts Thursday evening 6pm wristbands are given out... a day or two after... then you can leave until day of - that way they get their "promo" shots, fans get rest, everyone is happy - but this... this will not go smoothly ha ha

Here are their "Rules"


TWILIGHT Fans are allowed to begin lining up for camping in Tent City at NOKIA PLAZA L.A. LIVE at 6:00am PT on Thursday, November 10, 2011. No fans are allowed to line-up prior to that time.  The location and start of the official fan camp line will be set by Summit Event Security and all other non-official lines will not be recognized.

Overnight camping is allowed in designated areas only, starting in the Nokia Plaza. Please follow all directions advised by L.A. LIVE and Summit security. Please note, that special wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and each fan must be present to receive a wristband. Each wristband will be numbered and reserves a space in the Fan Viewing areas for the BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 Red Carpet arrivals in sequential order. Every individual who is granted access into Tent City will be entered into a database that matches them with their unique wristband number. The wristbands DO NOT enable access to the Movie Premiere.

Fans will be asked to change location as Premiere set up begins in the Nokia Plaza on Monday morning November 14 at 6:00am PT. This will be the only relocation during the camping event.

PARTIAL LIST OF RULES AND CODES OF CONDUCT:
·    ONLY Standard Sized Pop Tents will be allowed (4'x4' [16 sq. ft.] or less. No oversized tents, staked tents, etc., due to limited space)
·    ABSOLUTELY No Drugs or Alcohol allowed on premises
·    No Cooking On-Site or open flame
·    No horseplay. If anyone dumps food or beverages on another camper, they will be subject for removal
·    No amplified music. All music devices must be used with headset or earphone
·    Smoking in Designated Areas Only outside of the NOKIA Plaza boundaries
·    Fans are responsible for their own property. LA Live, AEG, nor Summit is responsible for any lost or stolen items
·    Everyone must please pick up after themselves. A fine will be enforced for anyone who litters on Nokia or LA City property
·    Please only use the restrooms designated for fans and respect the other area businesses
·    Guests must follow the rules and directions of L.A. LIVE Management/Summit Security at all times

WRIST BAND DETAILS AND EVENT DAY LINE UP TIMES

Twilight fans will be given wristbands starting at 6:00am PT on Thursday, November 10 2011. Wristbands MUST be worn until the premiere is over. Any wristband that has been tampered with or removed will NOT be considered valid. Any fan arriving without wearing the original wristband they were provided will not be allowed into the viewing area. There will be periodic spot checks through November 14, the day of the event.

Top 10 Highlights of the 'New Moon' Premiere from FearNet

Last year’s Twilight premiere was insane, but New Moon was even bigger.
Last year’s Twilight premiere brought an estimated thousand fans to the streets of Westwood, CA, for a mass love fest that showed the rest of the world that this Twilight thing was a bona fide phenomenon in the making. This year, the cat was out of the bag and the fever pitch multiplied even further. Fans arrived as early as Thursday to camp out for five days to nab a spot at the front of the line, just for a chance to see New Moon’s stars up close and personal. They didn’t even get to see the movie! Now that’s dedication.

Think teenage fans are the craziest? Think again.
Kids skipped school. Adults called in sick. Some drove in from Oregon and flew from New York and Canada just for the three-hour event. There were more fans, more paparazzi, more desperation was in the air, and more pitiable security guards attempting to rein it all in. There was pushing, shoving, yelling, threata of sabotage; it was every Twi-hard for herself. One little girl told us that a grown women pulled her hair to get her out of the way, and that’s just wrong. And yet, not all that shocking.
Stephenie Meyer made a rare public appearance, but lost points for fashion.

After writing her Twilight novel series, author Stephenie Meyer retreated into the safety of her bubble of privacy to take time off from making public appearances and doing interviews. So it was nice for fans to see her hit Oprah’s couch last week and walk the red carpet at the New Moon premiere, where she met fans and spent time talking with a number of fan sites.

Unfortunately, at an event so saturated with meticulously styled designer gowns, where even 15-year-old Dakota Fanning wore Valentino, Meyer’s old timey updo and Victorian-style dress did not fly with the fashionista set.
Anya Marina on the red carpet: A delight or a disaster?
Soundtrack artist Anya Marina co-hosted the live MySpace red carpet stream to mixed reactions – some fans dubbed her "Annoying Anya," which is not generally what you want to go for when making your talking head debut. Her song, Satellite Heart, appears on the chart-topping soundtrack to New Moon, and it’s pretty good; unfortunately, Marina took every opportunity to tell exactly that to the stars she was interviewing throughout the night. Watch for yourself and decide.

Coolest celebrity of the night: Joan Jett
The New Moon cast brought plenty of their famous friends along for the big night, including Rob Pattinson’s Remember Me co-star Emilie de Ravin, the cast of Fox’s Glee, Emma Roberts, Brett Ratner, Kevin Smith, Grey’s Anatomy’s Justin Chambers and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and So You Think You Can Dance hostess Cat Deeley, who came on the arm of Eclipse actor Jack Huston. Basically, everyone in Hollywood who’d been pestered by a girlfriend or a child to get into the premiere. But all bowed down to one star’s black biker boots: Joan Jett, the rock star and role model for Kristen Stewart’s next film, The Runaways.

Nicest celebrity of the night: Kellan Lutz
Twilight’s Emmett pulled the best move of the night when, after signing autographs, he pulled two fans wearing 'Nutz for Lutz'shirts out of the crowd and escorted them into the premiere screening as his impromptu guests.

Random celebrity of the night: 50 Cent
Red carpets draw a lot of random stars, but who would have guessed that Fiddy himself would show up to support New Moon? Coincidentally, he just released a new album, but we’re sure that had nothing to do with it.

The rumored off-screen couple arrived separately at the end of the red carpet, just hours before MTV aired a special program investigating their real-life romance. Pattinson strolled through first before Taylor Lautner and Stewart pulled up the rear to do a quick sweep with the press and fans, and the trio posed for photos – just not all together. It seems Robsten was avoiding the red carpet 'couple' poses that would inevitably be picked apart by curious fans, although they were snapped together, along with Lautner, at the after party.

Rachelle Lefevre was “too emotional” to attend the premiere.
The only no-show of the night was actress Rachelle Lefevre, who lost the role of the vampire Victoria to Bryce Dallas Howard after playing her in the first two Twilight films. With her beloved dog in the hospital, Lefevre Tweeted her explanation to fans during the premiere: “'2 fans at the premiere: w/ Honey in hospital & being fired from Eclipse tonight was just 2 emotional 4 me & I couldn't manage it. So sorry.'

The after party had real live wolves. That’s right, wolves.
The premiere’s well-heeled crowd headed to the after party at the Hammer Museum, where real, live wolves had been brought in (and kept in cages) to enhance the New Moon vibe. Wonder how PETA spokesmodel Christian Serratos felt about that? Or New Moon’s Wolf Pack, who only transform into wolves with the magic of CGI?

I remember when there were four of us at the Cullen House during filming of New Moon. As the cast came out to give us hugs we all were so excited snapping photos and video. Mel had a video that she took and then left the camera on when we all posed for photos so the shot shows just the gress for a few minutes... anyways, people were ALL over her about that "were you drunk?" and "don't you know how to take video"

I went to the red carpet New Moon Premiere as many of you know. I was with a group of 3 awesome ladies. We camped out for 5 days & were the front of the line! For the actual red carpet premiere I was #1 in line & Alison from Twifans.com was #2 followed by our friends Dawn & Uley. Uley (black hair & glasses) who was in the #4 spot on the red carpet was committed that I would get Rob’s autograph since I didn’t get it at the Twilight premiere even though the person who was right next to me did.

As you can see in this video, the stars don’t always start signing with the first person in line. Alison & I were skipped Uley got to talk to Rob & got his autograph, then she turns & asks us if we got it. We say no *tear* & as you can see in this video a miracle happens. Uley somehow gets to talk to Rob again & tells him how we had been camping for 5 days just like she had & that we didn’t get his autograph. This video is priceless. Rob came back & signed our stuff. I got my New Moon movie companion signed & my Robsicle! He laughed when he saw it. I can never thank Uley enough for sending Rob back to us, you are my hero! Thanks to Rob for coming back, you are so sweet, classy & a genuinely nice person.

What an epic fairy tale night! As if getting Rob’s autograph wasn’t enough we also got to see New Moon! *dies* Yes, I am serious. Thank you to Summit for being so kind to us & giving our group passes. Really “thank you” can’t even express how grateful I am to you. The movie is made of awesome!!!

More Red Carpet photos and my Fashion Thoughts

These are from GossipCop.com and I have a lot to say about fashion - not that I am an expert (have you SEEN the crap i wear out LOL) but this is what I think....

A lot of the same RPattz Pix we have seen elsewhere - he pulled off the usual suit and tie tux style outfit he does for these kinds of events....

There were mixed reviews on Anna's outfit - I personally found it stunning.... she was a beauty. It made her look older, but not too old, and I really loved it honestly.

While Anna looked older than she is - Peter looked far younger - dashing young lad even ;) Though I really wanted to see Jennie on his arm...

**EDIT - she was there *phew* Her hair is interesting but super cute i really like it.

I effin LOVE Nikki Reed, but I didn't love this dress, I mean it's not BAD (for a day in the park lol) but for this event I think I would have prefered to see her glamed up a lil more...non? Someone said it was Peter Pan-ish - it's true... a lil too tree fairy-esque / pirate

Liz is always gorgeous, this seemed a tad too simple for my taste but she pulls it off fine and looks wonderful

JCB always has that same look - and it fits him so who's to complain? not i...

Seriously - Jackson is my new fave.... ever since my naughty dream and those sexy photos of him and Ashley making out on photo shoot... rawr!

Mike Sheen was well put together and looked nice on the red carpet

Oh Kellan - so glad to hav eyour blonde hair coming back and those eyes and those dimples.... he looked great

Ashley - red is her colour, well, she looks great in most outfits but when I first met her at a 100 Monkeys show she has this BRIGHT red lipstick and it just stoof out nicely on her... as does this beautiful dress

Dakota is a red carpet pro at such a young age - love her and this dress is super cute - fabulous

Taylor, like Rob, wore the traditional suit and tie - they pull it off well though so why fix or change what ain't broke - - and his teeth - white as always

Like a fairy princess - I know i hate on Kstew a lot - it is only because i ADORE her - - - but this dress was phenomenal... a tad too girlie for her usual style, but this was not a usual night and i think she was stunning and poised and just perfect!

Beautiful - her passion for the movie comes out so well in interviews, it is true it is like she thinks and can't quite get the words out right - but she is getting better and expressing her thoughts and I love it - -
