#SNL: Paul Rudd and One Direction FTW

It's been a while since I enjoyed SNL so much!

From One Direction, Special guest appearences by Kristen Wiig, Steve Carrell, Will Ferrell, Fred Armisen, it was star studded.

I loved the new and improved Santa with his "ho ho ho" the opening monologue, Weekend Update, Sound of Music spoof and almost every sketch was pretty awesome. One Direction performed awesomely, I just really enjoyed the whole episode! My favourite, after the opening monologue, was probably Paul Rudd as the creepy #1 One Direction Fan - ha ha so funny!

“The Sound of Music Live & Condensed,” and featured a surprise appearance by Kristen Wiig as her now classic character Dooneese! The sketch ended with another surprise appearance by SNL alum Fred Armisen reprising his Lawrence Welk spoof! 

Host, Paul Rudd came out with One Direction during his opening monologue. Paul wasn’t to be uptstaged by another musical guest and brings on his own “man band” which features his Anchorman 2 cast Steve Carrell, David Koechner and SNL alum Will Ferrell. Paul affectionately names the guys on the stage Nine Direction as they sing the song “Afternoon Delight.”

National Lampoon's Christmas Drinking Game

What you will need for this game: an excessive amount of beer, a Santa hat & a single shot of your choice 

Take One Drink Every Time:

• Ellen calls Clark "Sparky"
• Someone is wearing an ugly holiday sweater
• Clark does something awkward
• There is singing or music
• The swimming pool is referenced
• Clark is wearing a sports team article of clothing, unless of course, you are wearing a Chicago Blackhawks jersey, then that means you are a complete badass & you get to give drinks at each of those parts.

Additional Rules: 

The entire group takes a drink whenever an advent calendar door is opened.

You must yell “Shitter’s Full!” any time you leave to use the restroom, otherwise you must finish your beer when you return.

First person to say “Get me somebody! And get me somebody while I'm waiting!” when Frank Shirley appears on screen for the first time chooses a person to finish their drink.

First person to stand up & fully complete the “knock on the door, peek in…” correctly WITH hand gestures during that scene gives two drinks.

At any point in the movie, you can point to someone & yell "RUS!" If they do not respond with "Right here, dad" they must take a drink (max once per person, this could get excessive).

Anytime someone misquotes a line in the movie, they have to wear the Santa hat until it gets passed to the next person. When the movie is over, the last person wearing the Santa hat has to shotgun a beer & finish by saying “Ahh, It’s good, It’s good. It’s good.”

Whoever ISN’T up for watching Home Alone immediately after the movie ends has to take the SHOT!

Tim Hortons (“Timmies”) is the Canadian version of Dunkin Donuts. Countdown to #Forks2011

I am pretty excited. Not Gonna Lie

Last year, I was heading to Portland for Creation's Twilight Convention with @Lorabell (Where we did the EPIC Catherine Hardwicke Twilight Set Tour! And pitstopped in Astoria for some Goonie's set sites) but we stopped for anight to partake in Twitarded's 2010 Forks Trip.

In just onenight I met some of the most awesome people ever, was reunited with some of my fave Twi-friends ever, and drank enough to feel no shame in peeing behind Bella's truck.

This year, I am going for two nights and I expect it will be nothing short of epic.



We pretty much take over the town, and absolutely take over the motel




Last year there was the Twilight Lounge and Dungeon where we rocked out allll nightttt longgggg (no joke, @StarlitViolets and I shut the place down and her and her hubby pretty much carried me back to my room where @TwiredJen watched me drunk fall into bed)


Yup that is me in behind the dance party, mingling but too drunk to quite stay standing if I shake mah groove thang too hard

 This year instead of the bar, which sadly shut down for economic reasons, the lovely ladies at Twitarded have booked a hall and a shuttle to / from hall (I think this is in part to avoid me being arrested for peeing in public) and some other surprises for us Twi Gals to partay hard this weekend!

I can not wait! People have been asking... why? "It's not Stephenie Meyer day" and "Is there something going on"

Twoilet in Forks Wa. - Funny

This cracks me up because I may or may not have had too much to drink in FOrks last year with Twitarded and possibly had to pee on the walk back to the hotel. I will leave it at that but it was sacrilege and these port-o-potties will be good for my next Forks Trip end of September... Twoilets ha!

The members of West End Business & Professional Association and Forks Chamber of Commerce have gone in together on two Sanicans placed downtown for the summer tourists. Merchants in the area of the stoplight had been complaining about Twilight visitors using their restrooms which are usually back in store rooms and not meant for public use.





So a regular sanican was delivered first and when the folks at West Waste and Recycling delivered the second one it had a custom paint job, I call it the "Twilight Twoilet."





Now Forks visitors have their pick: regular or Twilight!

Forks 2011 Trip

Last Year on route to Creation's Twilight Convention in Portland, I stopped by Forks for Twitarded's Forks Trip 2010.

Let me tell you, it was AMAZING!

There were 150+ people there all for the trip. I only stayed one night but I had the BEST time ever! Got to meet so many other fans I knew from online from all over the globe, literally!

This year they are doing it again so I plan to go to Forks September 30 - October 2, 2011. I will be driving down if anyone local wants to car pool let me know. I hope to stay at the Forks MOtel, though it books fast so hopefully I can score a room... and am willing to roomie-up with peeps.

Here is the forum you can sign up for to get info and plan.

Last year there were activities and tours and fun. Lot's you can do on your own or with the group.

This post on twitarded has more on the trip.

Would love to see some of you there! Such a fun weekend to just be crazy-fun!
