100 days to go until the release of Hunger Games: Catching Fire and we get some info on the World Premiere... in London... I am guessing Nov 18 will be USA/LA - but we shall see... I want to go, but not to London (Well, I WANT to go to London, but funds and time will prevent me ha!)

Announcement Starts 100-Day Countdown to Film’s Release

Santa Monica, CA and London, UK August 13, 2013 – With 100 days and counting until the November 22 worldwide launch of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second installment of Lionsgate’s global blockbuster Hunger Games franchise, the Company announced today that it will host a Catching Fire world premiere in London on November 11. 

Catching Fire will open day-and-date with its domestic release in nearly every major international territory. The first Hunger Games film was the 13^th highest-grossing North American release of all time on its way to generating nearly $700 million at the worldwide box office. 

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire stars Academy Award® winner Jennifer Lawrence alongside Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Jeffrey Wright, with Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland. 

The film begins as Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, The Quarter Quell – a competition that could change Panem forever. 

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is directed by Francis Lawrence, from a screenplay by Simon Beaufoy and Michael DeBruyn, based upon the novel “Catching Fire” by Suzanne Collins and produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik.

Hunger Games Mall Tour kicks off in LA

Fans packed the first stop on the Hunger Games Mall Tour in LA today.

There are a lot of videos on youtube, but most are screaming fans and a bit of the cast on the mics.

Seeing these videos made me decide I will SKIP Seattle's Mall stop in order to get to LA earlier and scope the scene for the Hunger Games premiere. I am so excited, but also nervous because I am not sure what to expect.

Having done Breaking Dawn Part 1 which was a bit insane, I am anxious for Hunger Games. I did register so I think I will be in as long as I am in the first 400 people in line - but I hope they email all the registered guests with some more information, I am feeling a little uncertain.

November Twi-Trip

November is going to be absolute insanity. I have likely bitten off more than I can chew, but that tends to be how I roll!

I am drowning at work right now, not only is it the busiest time of year for me, my daughter has been sick, I am planning a trip next month and I just feel like I am going crazy... that is why the bloggy has been lacking...

I apologize! Real Life sometimes creeps in and kicks my butt!

More... So Basically the next week is absolutely nuts. Then after next weekend, I have less than a week, in fact, 3 or so days, to get packed and prepared for my trip.

Here is my plan (tentative and still working out kinks)

-Wednesday Nov 2 - Drive to Seattle and Fly to Cali

-Thursday Nov 3 - Check out Grauman's Theatre where a certain trio are getting their hand prints done in the cement.

-Check into hotel and hopefully relax, unless I have tix to a talk show, I applied for a few ha ha

-Friday 4th - Sunday6th is the Convention, Saturday the BIG day with a certain trio on stage in the early evening and most of the cast on stage throughout the day.

-Sunday 6th -Wednesday 9th- move to my cheap hotel ha ha relax for a few days with friends, site-seeing, talkshows maybe... open for suggestions

-Wednesday my buddies arrive and we check into new hotel and prepare for "premiere camping" this will be my first experience (ok WFE NYC but I have scratched that from my memory forever) so I am not sure what to expect but there IS a group of us who plan to do hotel/camp rotations however often permitted by security

-That weekend will be a blur of rotations, mingling, and likely some debauchery

-Monday 14th is the premier, I don't knwo what to expect but if things go well some red carpet action and maybe seeing the movie, to be honest, I would rather see it than red carpet it because I guess I am weird that way LMAO

-That night we have a hotel near LAX and in the early morning fly to NYC

-Check into Hotel, friend has classes while there, but I have other friends living or visiting NYC that I get to see, we have a few things planned such as a BD Screening and a BD midnight release and maybe take in some talk shows and/or broadway shows (I did rush seats in April and got $30 row 4 to How to Succeed in Business and then met Daniel Radcliffe out back... so worth it!!)

-Stay at friends last couple nights, just enjoy the city

-Sunday Nov 20 - FLY HOME!!!!

Tell me I am not crazy......... because I am feeling pretty damn crazy!

After this crazy October though, I deserve a break and this is a little bit more than a break but will be a blast!

When I return it is down to Seattle for USA Thanksgiving with the family and then December is staying home for recoop ha ha

I promise to take tons of photos and tweet lot's and blog lot's and share the experience for those who won't be there!!!

For those that WILL be there (or for at least part, be it the convention, the premiere, nyc, or where ever....) please let me know! I would love to meet up with as many people as possible during this adventure :-)

Rob to attend Breaking Dawn Convention in LA?

Last year of course at Creation's Eclipse Convention Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, along with numerous other cast members, attended the Eclipse Convention in LA

This year, speculation has been going on for weeks over who will attend the Breaking Dawn Convention....

Twifans.Com was at the MD convention this weekend and writes:

After about 15 minutes, the host/auctioneer decided it was time for a Robert Pattinson banner to go up for auction. For the prior banners, he threw in an autograph ticket so the celebrity guests at the Baltimore event could sign them...making the items even more valuable! When talking about the RPatz banner, the auctioneer casually said, "Unfortunately, Rob is not here to sign it, but he will be at our Century City event." The Breaking Dawn Convention on 11/4 - 11/6 is being held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in the Century City area of Los Angeles!

Of course this has not been officially announced or confirmed by Summit or Creation yet, so let's wait for that to be sure, but it sounds pretty likely...

I have attended a number of Creation's Twilight, Supernatural and other conventions and have to say they are so professionally run and offer a number of ticketing options for every budget!

Breaking Dawn Candy

OMG I couldn't even look at another Twilight - themed candy after my experience in LA Last June for Eclipse-Con and allll that New Moon candyyyyyyy

I was Oompa-Loompa-Spice for a while and I STILL have some of that stuff sitting around my house!

No joke, I bought an extra suitcase, filled it with candy, and it was 50 lbs OVER WEIGHT!!!!!!! That was 100 lbs of fucking candy!!!

I ended up leaving a ton of it on the sidewalk at LAX (the security guy said he'd give it away for me and especially to the homeless that hung around there at nights)

So....... I will NOT be getting any of this candy - but for the rest of you...... enjoy!

Breaking Dawn Premiere Information

Summit announced today that the L.A. Premiere will take place at Nokia Theatre on Monday November 14, 2011.

With LA Live being private property, you can be assured that we will be receiving rules for line up and camping. This is the same location that housed the 'Eclipse' premiere. It was not a favorite amongst fans for camping (read their blog with pros and cons here), but fans did love that with a theater that seats 6500 people, fans did like that a lot of fans did get to see the movie premiere in the same room as the stars themselves. Very cool for Summit Entertainment to do this for fans.

There have also been rumours that a Breaking Dawn Convention will take place Friday November 4 - Sunday November 6, 2011 in L.A.

Of course, after the premiere there is speculation that the promotional tour will head east for some NYC press on such shows as Regis & Kelly, Letterman, Today and so on. Nothing confirmed yet.

Within an hour of this announcement I got an email from the group I had planned to room with along with the hotel booking confirmation. Looks like I will be in L.A 9-15th at least. Possibly sooner if I can somehow swing the convention as well (depends ENTIRELY on work and time off) and hopefully a few days in NYC if I can.... already have a friend who will share the hotel, as well as a couple other friends who are planning to go....

How quickly things fall together eh? All we were waiting for was official confirmation, and I thank Summit *gasp, yes I said it* for providing the information today!

Twilight's Taylor Lautner and Academy Award winning Director Gus Van Sant attended the 8 pm performance of IRIS - A Journey Through The World of Cinema last week at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.

Guests of IRIS Music Composer Danny Elfman, the duo (who are rumored to be working together on an upcoming project) went backstage to meet the cast of IRIS following the performance.

Robert Pattinson on WFE Set

Robert Pattinson suited up on the set of Water for Elephants in LA today. The intense emotional scenes they were working on take place at Cornell in the book, so UCLA stood in for the upstate NY university. The movie wraps filming soon, but first the cast will relocate to Tennessee for a few days of shooting. Robert and his costars had the weekend off, which meant a trip to see Salt and attend a party with a friend for Mr. Pattinson. Christoph Waltz headed to Comic-Con, which Rob's an expert at after two years of Twilight promotion. This time he got to skip the fan frenzy in San Diego, though he was still a topic of conversation when Christoph fielded questions about Rob's Oscars hopes for their current project.

Kristen Stewart leaves Troubadour last night after Bobby Long Show

I guess a fan twitpict Kristen Stewart at Bobby Long's Show last night which led to the usual hysterics and moral arguements over if it is acceptable or not to invade celebs privacy.... I am not going to have that battle, it is too early this morning but here is a video that was posted of her leaving...



I will say that this video is slow-motioned for a reason.... it was very quick.... I wasn't there but I'd like to think it was the same as in Vancouver last summer for Bobby Long's show.... a great night of music and friends and not being bothered by papz or fans then 10 seconds of chaos as she leaves...

Anyways feel free to comment below but most of you know my thoughts on the whole ordeal if you have read previous posts of mine.
