Tracers - Taylor Lautner's next film headed to Cannes

Taylor Lautner's next role is in TRACERS and the movie will be financed by the Twilight producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen

Hypable writes:

Lautner has signed to star in Tracers, which will be distributed by FilmNation Entertainment. Twilight producers Godfrey and Bowen will together produce Tracers. Daniel Benmayor (The Manhunt) will direct.

Deadline reports:

Lautner will play Cam, a messenger in New York City who is a wiz on a bike but who’s in debt to an organized crime gang. He crashes his bike into a sexy stranger and is seduced by her and the thrill of the world of parkour that she introduces him to. The buzz has begun spreading on the film and it there is bidding among a number of territories. It is also very possible that a domestic deal will be made quickly.

“We’ve had great successes making films for this audience and believe this project will continue our solid track record,” Bowen said and Godfrey added that “We had a remarkable experience with Taylor on Twilight and look forward to bringing Cam to life.” Lautner’s next pic, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn–Part 2 will be released November 16.

I want to see more action-star Taylor, after Abduction! I have also heard Taylor will be at Cannes to promote this film.

Sources say:
As always, the festival will be attended by all of your favourite celebrities, including Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, and Marion Cotillard. Interestingly, all three of the Twilight stars will be attending the festival to debut their newest offerings: Cosmopolis (with Robert Pattinson), Tracers (with Taylor Lautner), and On the Road (with Kristen Stewart).
