What really went down under the bridge last night? Eclipse filming Victoria Seducing Xavier....

My girls sent me pics and details from the live set last night - See Previous Post Here But Today we learned from the all-knowing Lainey Gossip what was happening under the bridge....

Lainey Reports:

Last night the Twilight Eclipse crew was back to work shooting under a bridge a “Seattle” scene with Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel as “Victoria and Riley”. Victoria seduces Riley so that he’ll carry out her orders to make new vampires. As you can see, they’ve wigged out Bryce’s hair to resemble Rachelle Lefevre’s

I am glad to see Victoria's hair still seems very Victoria-esque.... also psyched to see that my girls were at the right place last night - too often people think I have someone on the "inside" to find all these sets - * I WISH * - It would save a lot of time..... but even more often we aren't 100% sure (especially this early on) if we have the right set - Vancouver *IS* Hollywood North after all - lot's of filming going on - - - as discovered today when we *Met Zac Efron* Click here to read blog post

Anyways - Here are Lainey's Photos from PunkD....

Compare them with my Own Shots from Today.... The day after filming

Sorry Bryce, nothing personal really because you're a wonderful actress but Rachelle had attached, committed and breathed life into Victoria. Summit sucks for pulling this "confict" stuff. Cam had conflict and they did the ending of Twilight first. Rachelle had only 10 days of conflict. She had turned down many roles to be Victoria in Eclipse. I'm still mad thinking about it. I guess when you have money...you do own people, huh Summit?

I think it's funny that everyone blames people who "have money" for what is wrong with movies as if being successful is a short prelude to losing your mind. I don't think Summit is "pulling" anything. If there was conflict that could have been worked out, it would have been. I don't see why anyone would think that the studio would piss off the fans of Rachelle on purpose. While she had ten days of conflict, they may have been important days with limited access to locations or changing them may have stepped on the toes of other contracts or created conflict with other actors' schedules.

If Eclipse went months behind schedule in order to resolve the Rachelle conflict, I'm sure you'd be pissed off about that too because people who "have money" (which, again, negates the fact that they got that money by being good at what they do) can't do right by anyone.

After you've tried to manage a production the size of Eclipse with the expectations and deadlines as high and solid as they are, feel free to whine about a minor character's change of appearance.
