If you haven't read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif, you should. I think it's the next "Harry Potter" and was thrilled that they filmed the movie here in Vancouver [at the same time as Twilight Saga New Moon" infact. I saw Logan Lerman in the movie "Hoot" (Another great young adult novel) and am trying to read the whole series of Percy Jackson.
It is about a boy who discovers he is the son of Poseidon, the god of water. He enters a world of demigods (Half human, half god) and ancient Greek myths beome realities. After being accused of stealing Zeus' thunderbolt he sets of on a journey to prove his innocence. The movie is based on this sotry from teh first novel in teh series and looks to be absolutely amazing. I am so excited and have been telling people to read the book for months now...
