I posted a list of the various locations offering New Moon DVD [Target, Best Buy, itunes, Barnes & Noble, WalMart, Borders, Amazon etc.] But it is confusing... they all have different versions.
I suggest you decide what "extra's" you most want and pick a version based on that. For me personally, a Twilight tin case or Bella ring aren't my cup o' tea (not saying any versions have these, just giving an example)
I am more into the Eclipse sneak peak, commentary, deleted scenes and such. Footage extras you know?
But, decide what is right for you first.... then compare cost and inclusions and pick the right version for you...
Twilight Lexicon has some advice for those of youpre-ordering New Moon on dvd.
So there are tons of versions this year and better options with DVD and Blu-Ray releasing the same day. Every version has a little something different when it comes to the extras: red carpet interviews, Eclipse previews, etc. (though as of right now their product descriptions leave a bit to be desired so that you can’t tell who has what. Trust us those things are on different versions and we’re currently emailing several chains stating “um, did you forget to mention something in your product listings”) So check it out and decide which version works for you (our personal advice, unless it’s refundable, wait until later in the week when full descriptions are up)
Currently you can pre-order through; Itunes, Borders, Best Buy, Amazon and soon from Barnes & Noble and Walmart.
If you are specific about which bonus features you want, be sure to read full descriptions once they become available, to order the right version.
Personally, I want it all... so I am waiting to pre-order once i can compare and contrast all the versions/options/prices/extras.
I plan to buy the Wal Mart Version.
Here are some of the versions available if you have international hook-up's:
-Scandanavia DVD .
-UK DVD.
