Remember Me DVD Contest

Today is September 11, the 10 year anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center. It carries a lot of sad memories and I know a lot of people who were impacted by that date.

I wanted to do something positive on this day and here is one thing I decided to do on my blog. Give away Remember Me dvd's

I know most of us have this dvd, I actually got a few of them at the Blockbuster going out of business sale and therefore have a couple extras.

One my friend claimed already, but I have one more up for grabs and so I decided I would do a give-away.

Similar to past contests here is how to enter:

1 - Follow my Blog (Just click follow over on the right side panel) AND leave a comment below saying what you love most about Remember Me.

2 - Follow me on twitter: @mandysmind AND tweet:

I entered to win #RememberMeDVD from @mandysmind http://t.co/XgLMCaY

You can enter both methods, I will do a draw and pick one winner from all methods (which means if you tweet and comment you get two entries in the draw. You can tweet as many times as you want, each is one entry.

I will ship internationally

Draw date: Sunday September 18, 2011 2pm PST

Good Luck!

Thank you for this giveaway :) I would love to win a Remember Me DVD. <3 Hmm, what I love most in Remember Me.. That is kind of hard, since I love it all (A) Love everything in it. But, hmm, maybe the shower scene? :) Really like that one. I love Remember Me because it is such a real story. It is something that could happen to anyone. (Also really love it because of Rob) <3

Well, I didn't like the fact that my mother-in-law gave away the ending even though I had told her that I wanted to watch it, but I did like the premise of the story and the fact that, to most other people, the ending was a surprise. And I love Rob! lol

I like the storyline of the movie. If that makes any sense

I saw it 5 times, took my 2 kids to see it & they took their friends. It started some very good conversations among these teens, regarding not only that day, but how important it is to live fully, tell those you care about that they are important to you, and that love lives on in those left behind.

I actually loved the ending, unlike a lot of people. That's not to say I'm happy Tyler died. Of course I'm not. What I am happy about is that Fetters crafted a story that could have happened in real life. Tyler, with all of his family and personal issues, was a real character. We get to see that. And then, a REAL incident happens to him. 9/11 didn't discriminate against who got hurt, outside of the fact that you were in the line of fire. Tyler, being a normal person, happened to be in the line of fire on that day. I found it to be truthful and extremely emotional. I didn't lose anyone in 9/11, but the shock I felt at losing Tyler can only reach an itty bitty tip of the iceberg of what people that day really felt.

I loved this movie because it was filmed in beautiful NYC and featured the beautiful Robert Pattinson. I knew the ending because I read the book but my best friend did not and she cried her eyes out along with me.

Remember Me was such a great story because it was about regular peoples problems and how 9-11 changed everything. I think alot of people can relate to the story because most people know someone who had their life changed because of 9-11.
