Results of Cory Monteith's autopsy show heroin and alcohol in his system.

Yesterday the autopsy on Cory Monteith's body was conducted and it was found that he had a mixture of heroin and alcohol in his system. Devastating!

Lea Michele made a statement through her reps:

“Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them,” the 26-year-old Glee actress’ rep told People.

The rep added, “They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.”
It was recently announced that Cory died from a lethal mixture of heroin and alcohol over the weekend.

Cory's last role was as a drug addict in the film, McCanick. He will be missed on Glee, where his storyline had just tkaen a turn where he was returning to college to become a teacher. It is unknown how they will address this on the show, but I do hope, as difficult as it may be, that they use this as an opportunity to learn and show viewers the dangers of drugs.
