Another look at Kristen Stewarts "Rape" Comment

I received an email from Katie at Newsy.com in response to this post on Kristen Stewart's use of the word "rape" (in her Elle UK interview) and her subsequent public apology.

Seriously, this girl cant catch a break! Yeah its part of the business but geez. She's young and I will remain a fan regardless of what she says...We all let stupid stuff fall out of our mouths.

I've made the very comment mentioned in this tape, that people use the word "rape" to represent different scenarios. I just wish people would realize there's no disrespect in what she said. What a miserable future we have to look forward to if we're all scrutinized like this. Next time people use the word "cancer", as a survivor, I'm going to raise a stink unless they have it themselves. Sheesh.
